Does anybody else get a feeling of loneliness when they notice that about the entire TEW2016 community is playing with the Cornellverse? Is it because of a lack of proper mods?

I actually prefer the C-Verse to Real World mods. Always have. I think it stems from the fact that new workers can debut and feel authentic. In a present day save, I can't have any dojos produce new guys, doesn't feel right to me.

In my game, Japan was devestated by a tsunami. The biggest effect of this was PGHW going belly up. I purchased them and rebranded my own company (it had started as a regional and became a Cult) as PGHW - America, bringing in essentially all of the PGHW guys to mix with most of my talent. To compensate for the new talent, I created a new developmental territory in Japan and sent a lot of the PGHW guys over there (not to develop, but to work). We'll see if that causes me any problems, but I'm actually fairly excited about this rebranding of PGHW.

My previous post about buying out PGHW contained incorrect data -- I selected the wrong option without realizing it, so instead of buying them out to complete my planned PGHW-America company, I made them my developmental, so I ended up releasing them from their obligation. I spoke too soon about my plan.

Im a regional company.

But... Nicky Champion was stolen from USPW by SOTB. a week later Champagne left to go film his movie. Worst part for SOTBPW is that Champagne is their world champ... Champagne is also gone for a full year to do this movie. Wow he shafted SOTBPW pretty hard before leaving

In the last few days I started as WCW on the mod that starts in 1996. Pretty tough... I've got a lot of stars but they all hate each other and keep causing all sorts of trouble backstage. I literally have no idea what to do to improve morale lol I think releasing flair, hall and Nash might be a start... I've ended up with a *simmering tension* with Scott hall, is that pretty much the end of our working relationship then?

But then if I let them go they'd all go to wwf.. But then on the other hand that means wwf would paying fist loads of wages a month....I'm gonna assume I can get sting and hogan to carry things.

WCW is tricky in any Real World mods from those days. The trick is to have every type of Backstage "perk" (paying for hotels, transport etc) turned on and then just go out and hire absolutely as many locker room leaders (preferably road agents and referees) as you possibly can.

The higher you get that backstage rating, the less incidents you'll get.

Also try and meddle to create positive relationships, but I find this process very laborious and not very effective to date.

Same here. That is why I always tend to avoid modern day Real World mods. It has nothing to do with the mods themselves and more with what you said.

Though I do enjoy historical Real World mods.

Thanks for the advice, although I've always been a bit wary of the transport and hotel costs, that they may be quite costly.

I've got my *child company* going. I thought it would be fun to hire a load of the young guns I.e Christian, Jeff hardy, etc etc. And put them in a child company of sorts, however it's running 2 events...a year...and I see no way to improve this schedule, I'm assuming as its a *child company* it sorts itself out, but nothing is happening... Hmm...

I prefer the C-verse because it is what it is. I'm always somewhat bothered by some stats of the 'real' databases that put me off playing. That being said the mods are good. I you know the business like most wrestling fans, you can easily draw parallels and some imagination gets you far.

Given the fact that I prefer the C-Verse, nope!

So, I think I screwed up and killed AAA. :p Well, not really "killed' per se but they can't hold any shows since they only have eight wrestlers on their roster (and one of them is on loan from me). Now I'm noticing how well 5SSW's young workers are progressing in their star quality and I'm considering raiding them too. Japanese economy and industry was flushed by a tsunami so they're not likely to make any money anytime soon. Plus, I offered to make them a child company and they turned me down flat. So I raided them and left behind all of the loyals as well as Lady Lotus (cancer), Unstoppable Tai (ditto), and Toku Kijmuta. Kit Hatoyama is going to play a bit of the Mima Shimoda role and help train up my fliers in Mexico.

On the main roster, I'm finding it especially tough to have low level titles unless I keep them exclusively in the dark (preshow mainly). Had a title match on TV between a lower midcard Viper McKenna against an enhancement talent Yukiko Matsumara and even though Viper dropped the title, she autopushed to midcarder immediately after (and Yukiko jumped all the way to lower midcarder). Worked for me though since I have plans for the team of Viper and Raku Makuda to help Amber Allen & Steffi Chee to train up Ava Anderson and Lily Snyder.

Southwest (low level) tag titles on Ariel Breaks & Maria Guest when I finally debuted Karen Bilous & Huntress Makiko (The Hit Squad) with Emmy (who I stole from SWF for like pocket lint and a bottle cap). I've got five tag teams in the low card who can all focus on getting Ariel & Maria up to speed. The plan is to have Hit Squad steal the SW Tag titles at Crowning the Queen and then have Ariel & Maria chase them (in classic fashion) to get them back.

I may actually go back on my vow not to put the world title on my user character. I need someone to "make" Zoe Ammis and the only person I can think to put her over is Miggy. But it has to be before she completes the year waiting period for figurehead status. So I'll have Jillian drop the title to Miggy at Crowning the Queen and then feud with Zoe for the rest of the year before dropping it to her in December. I gave her her own Mean Girls style clique (Steph Blake & Tracy Brendon) so it won't be a clean finish.

I figure I'll hit National sometime in the summer of 2017 and I hope I'm the only one there. :p

Fairly new to all this. Not the franchise but actually sitting down and playing the game properly. Anyways im using the C-Verse and loe it.

Im booking 21CW.

HAvea couple of things going on.

* Kathleen Lee is kinda my female Paul Heyman of WCW fame when he did the dangerous alliance. Shes managing the Hot Stuff as well as War Machine and Bedlem. Proving to be quite a powerful stable.

* Cliff King is my male Paul Heyman as I use Beast Bantom to start becoming my top guy. Big menace and destroying people for fun.

* Jonathon Faust is my Bray Wyatt... with Kevin Badberry and Grave Digger , ive put him as their manager and its paying off big time while feuding with dark angel.

* Wade Olsen. Hes my new Shawn Micheals, is currently been helping Koller battle the Martin but they (Koller and Wade) keep losing with mistakes happening leading them to argue. Wade will be turning Heel and turning on Koller setting them up for a Title match

So far for my first proper attempt I think im doing alright. Ratings are consistently B- - B+ with the odd A thrown in. Im looking at getting Stevie Stoat more of a push maybe get him involved in the world title scene once I've finished what im currently doing with that.

If anyones got any tips or workers I should consier please feel free to mention them as like I said im new to this :-)

Excellent thank you.

Yeah loving it, never played the C-Verse before and only ever dipped in and out of RW mods mainly cos I was never any good. Figured id use c-verse to "learn" the game etc but am hooked as ive got no affection for anyone as I don't know them meaning I feel more free to do stuff.

Am real surprised how my two stables seem to have just worked, and am really hoping I can turn beast into a superstar

I have to add to the list:

El Mitico Jr

Mr. Lucha III

Gino Montereo

Greg Gauge

Phoenix II, III, and IV [iI and III are an A* tag team, great babyfaces, and have been an incredibly valuable part of my roster from a leadership stand point, IV is super young and has oodles of potential]

Big Bruiser Findlay

Miller Fforde.

<p>Started a game with USPW and I have to say I'm having a lot of fun with it. I have signed Des Davids, Sean Mcfly, Sammy Bach, and Angry Gilmore. My biggest signing has really been Hell's Bouncer who I renamed Lucifer and has gotten Legendary on his monster gimmick. He has been unbeaten since he got to the company and is now a main eventer after just 6 months. I just had a match between him and Tyson Baine as a passing of the torch due to the fact that Baine is 9 years in decline and will now put him in the title picture. </p><p>

Mostly segments rated on menace but at some point even segments rated on anything else would give me above an 80. For his matches on tv they would mostly be squash matches but on ppv he would beat some of the bigger stars but never anyone too far above him.

<p>This is more of an opinion question. At the moment in my TNA 2005 game the WWE has been dropping the women's division in spectacular fashion. As soon as a contract runs out they let the women leave. I've obtained Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Torrie Wilson and I'm willing to bet if trends continue they'll also not bother to re-sign Lita when her contract runs out either.</p><p> </p><p>

I was considering running a knockouts brand. I just want to know if my roster seems deep enough for it. I have:</p><p> </p><p>

Trish Stratus</p><p>

Torrie Wilson</p><p>

Molly Holly</p><p>

Daffney</p><p>

Awesome Kong</p><p>

Gail Kim</p><p>

Angelina Love</p><p>

Velvet Sky</p><p>

Cheerleader Melissa</p><p>

Ashley Massaro</p><p>

Michelle McCool</p><p>

Candice Michelle</p><p>

Maria Kanellis</p><p>

Christy Hemme</p><p>

Mickie James</p><p>

Becky Lynch</p><p>

Roxxi</p><p>

Stacy Keibler</p><p> </p><p>

Trish and Torrie both have popularity in the low 90s. Molly and Stacy are in the 60s. Everyone else is around 30 at the moment.</p>

<p>In my WCW 2001 game Kevin Nash is at ~90pop everywhere and my biggest star after Goldberg. He rejected my 100k-bid and will go to WWF. It's also impossible to bury him as he has creative control..They also got Scott Hall after his contract with NJPW came up... As WWF also has Hogan, they've nWo with WCW still alive <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> .</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

At least i've got RVD as NJPW had to fire him, because they're in financial trouble. Furthermore i'm going to hire Chyna, could be a usefull</p>

Then again, it also depends on the mod in question. Looking at the workers you listed, Ashley and Stacy should be almost completely useless in the ring (I mean, they make Eva Marie look like Manami Toyota. THAT bad). Again, depending on the mod, you could supplement the roster with more talent from Mexico (Princesa Sugey, Faby & Mary Apache, maybe Cynthia & Esther Moreno, Xochitl Hamada or her little sister), Japan (Mima Shimoda, Aja Kong, Takako Inoue, Mariko Yoshida, Etsuko Mita, Jaguar Yokota, etc), Canada (LUFISTO! Nattie Neidhart!), UK (Saraya Knight, Erin Angel, Lisa Fury), Europe (Wesna, Blue Nikita, Nikita/Katie Lea (though she might've been based in the UK in 2005), Jazzi Bi/Alpha Female, etc). Again, depends on the mod. AJW closed in 2005 so Japan should be chock full of available talent. TNA in 2005 hadn't yet become ghetto WWE so their product should be performance friendly. So getting people over shouldn't be too hard if they can go in the ring. </p><p> </p><p> Or you could base your Knockout shows in an area you're trying to break into or build up and don't televise them until they produce shows rated highly enough to warrant broadcasting. That way you can build them up with almost no downside (aside from the wage bill).</p>
