What's going on in your game?

Made a NXT style brand for my SWF save and booking those shows has been a blast. I wish I could just book these shows and forget about supreme since I've hit a wall there. I named the show Next Era Wrestling or NEW (creative I know) and filled it full of the top guys from Developmental and some top Indy guys with the goal being that once they reach somewhere between mid and upper Midcard by auto push I'll kick them over to the main roster.

Here's my show logo for anyone interested

SWF_NEW.jpg

Simple, yet fantastic all at the same time. Love the idea!

<p>Playing my first ever long-term C-Verse save (been playing TEW since '08), as TCW. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm on the fastlane toward Total Mayhem, where Golden and Khoklov will end their 4-month long feud. They have one win each (count-out and DQ) and a draw to their name. Their Mayhem match will be a No Holds Barred match which will end in a pinfall win for Golden.</p><p> </p><p>

Andrews will defend his title against Sammy Bach, who won a four-way match to become #1 contender, while on the undercard Marc Speed will defend the International title against Ross Henry, who interrupted Speed during a promo alongside his new manager, Hannah Potter, who joined from SWF. </p><p> </p><p>

Other matches include The Behemoths defending the Tag Titles against the newly reformed The Machines, and the newly brought back All Action title being defended in a six-man ladder match. </p><p> </p><p>

I must say, I'm loving this save. I have always been hesitant about the C-Verse, and have started a few saves, but they only led to one or two shows booked. Now I'm almost five months in, and I'm hooked <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>New Wave is sadly just flowing around atm. Need to find something for them to do. </p><p>

Jay Chord is feuding with Joshua Taylor, and they will face off at Total Mayhem. When Speed and Chord are done with their programs (Henry & Taylor respectively), I'll turn them into a tag team, as I discovered by accident that they have great chemistry as partners. </p><p> </p><p>

Bryan Vessey is feuding with Mighty Mo, a minor feud to give them something to do. RDJ is feuding with Wolf Hawkins in a classic "veteran vs cocky youngster" storyline, with Hawkins claiming he is the future of the company, while RDJ is just old and over the hill.</p>

Started up a 1992 game for Eye of the Storm. Loving it.

Playing WCW has Heyman.

Champions:

World's Heavyweight: Vader

US Heavyweight: Rick Rude

World Cruiser-X: Jushin Thunder Liger

World Heritage: Steve Austin

World Tag Team: Arn Anderson / Beautiful Bobby

Starting out with Dangerous Alliance vs Sting's Squadron as the main feud.

Sting and Rude is the biggest. This isn't about the US title, this is just Sting wanting to bring down the Alliance.

The rest of the Alliance is squaring up against other Sting Friends. Austin/Windham for the newly created Heritage title. Simmons/Zbysko. Anderson-Eaton/Dustin-Steamboat.

Lots of good interactions. Lots of fun to mix and match until the build to WrestleWar '92 for the big War Games match.

I put the World title on Vader. I wanted to push him to the moon quickly. In a fun little feud to get things rolling, Vader is facing Pillman. Flyin' Bryan is playing underdog babyface. Vader squashed Pillman in the finals of the title tournament. Then Pillman takes Vader 20 minutes at Superbrawl. Then he gets the pinfall win in a tag match. Blow off at Wrestlewar to build Vader as the super monster heel champion.

Signing Bret Hart. At the start, Hart is available to pluck away from WWF. Please, and thank you. He comes in, and I start him in a feud teaming with brother Owen against Rick Martel, Meng and Woman. Good little introduction feud for Hart. Segments and matches are all good. He'll move on to face Rude one WrestleWar is completed.

Cruiser-X. I wanted to redo the cruiser division. I didn't want to "pigeon hole" guys based on size. And figured Heyman would love to connect to that 18-34 demo, so created the Cruiser-X. Generally going to be smaller guys, but it's going to be more of an X-Division style. The X right now is going to be geared more toward Generation X, and then progress to simply being the X-Division as it goes on. Liger is the current champion, but I have Tiger Mask, Black Mask (Eddie), Dean Malenko and Owen Hart as the main guys at the moment. But am aiming to expand starting in '93 (if I actually stick with something that long).

Steiners vs the Miracle Violence Connection

My favorite tag team from my childhood versus the team with the greatest name. I'm eventually going to move the titles down to this feud to help it out, since the DA/Sting feud doesn't really need them. But just throw them in the ring, give them 15 minutes and enjoy.

The shows have been getting good results. Getting mid-80s generally. They're real problem is they just don't have the top end talent. WWF has Hogan, Macho, Flair and Piper ... but WCW has some potential. It's very 1995-96 WWF in a way. They just need to put in the effort to get the guys over, and in a year or so, the top of the card will be Sting, Rude, Vader, Austin, Pillman, Hart along with hopefully resigning Flair. That's a nice top of the card.

Rumours are spreading that someone at the event is going to be turning heel, and it's going to make a major impact all the way to Wrestlemania IV. There's also rumours that Sting - stuck in the midcard since his partner Curt Henning got sent to rehab, but recently working well as a lackey for IC Champ Adrian Adonis - may soon turn face, and we could see Adonis V Sting, or even Adonis V Sting V Steamboat at Wrestlemania IV for the belt.</p>

<p>In my TCW game, Sammy Bach just got back from Hollywood and is putting over the man that took him out, KC Glenn. This wasn't enough drama for him, as he just broke up the marriage of Daryl Devine and Seduction. I had signed Seduction for locker room morale at the start, and only at 400 a month. I sent her down to development as I figure this whole thing out. She only has a few months left on her paltry deal, but I think that I'm going to be progressive and bring her back as Sammy jobs until he can't job anymore, while Daryl and his tag team partner, Christian Price, head over to the other brand.</p><p> </p><p>

So, Sammy gets to blow off his feud with KC Glenn in an Iron Man Match on Total Wrestling before he puts over El Mitico. If he wants to leave, he can sit for the last two years of his deal. There's no way I give SWF and USPW a chance in the national battle.</p>

<p>With the Rocky refusing to turn heel, and Vince pinging for drugs, my second major fall storyline (Shane vs Vince) has well.. fallen to pieces. Deciding to run Rock vs Austin through Summerslam, then just a standard Survivor Series, while pushing Edge to the Main Event, Edge is my project until Mania now, hopefully push him up to a 2002 rumble win and Mania main event, with Rock or Angle vs Austin as my backup plan.</p><p> </p><p>

This save is forcing me to flex as much on the fly booking and writing as i can muster. Luckily my other projects are getting successful</p><p> </p><p>

Lesner is ready for his IC title push after only 1 month. (Pop 26 up to 45). Val Venis (Now Vincent Morley) will be the one to do the honors after i successfully reinvented him. I'll be testing the waters with Morley in the main event next year, for now he will be a staple in the upper midcard.</p><p> </p><p>

The Dudleyz heel turn and title win went perfectly, setting up a potential main event push for Bubba Ray, he's been pulling out performances never lower than 80 with room for improvement.</p><p> </p><p>

Trish/Lita are the cornerstone of a fledgeling women's division, this is still a work in progress but these two arent doing too badly.</p><p> </p><p>

Punk has been doing nothing much on pre shows and B Shows, but i have decided to have him feud with Kane, who is doing nothing much at the top of the card. Punk will never be able to get a win but im hoping just the interaction with the top will trigger the same sort of rise Lesner has been having. I will be bringing Mark Henry and Batista up from development to flank Punk</p><p> </p><p>

Current Summerslam card:</p><p> </p><p>

Benoit vs Jericho</p><p>

Mark Henry vs Kane</p><p>

Kurt Angle vs HHH (Supporting characters in Rock vs Austin)</p><p>

Edge vs Christian (TLC Match for Euro title)</p><p>

Matt Hardy/RVD vs The Dudleyz (Tag Title Match)</p><p>

Brock Lesner vs Vincent Morley (IC Title Match)</p><p>

Trish Stratus vs Lita (Women's Title match)</p><p>

The Rock vs Steve Austin (World Title Match)</p>

<p>I'm playing Eye of the Storm mod and it would be an understatement to say I'm addicted. Currently at September 1993 and the number 1 company in America.</p><p> </p><p>

Been stuck at 'cult' level the whole time, went national for about two weeks but the North and South West are proving difficult to break into. Can't seem to get a foothold in Canada either.</p><p> </p><p>

I've bought out every company that becomes available which did wonders for my pop in Japan, Mexico and Europe that led to more TV deals and a huge cash flow.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm letting the contracts of the older guys run out and stockpiling young talent and pushing them hard. Current main eventers are Sting, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Undertaker, Dustin Rhodes, Bam Bam Bigelow, Cactus Jack, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. My upper midcard is getting stacked and I'm building it around Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Brian Pillman, Tony Norris and Scott Steiner.</p><p> </p><p>

Any company I bought out that had a TV deal is running as developmental where I've got guys like The Dudleys, Bryan Clark, Rey Misterio, Owen Hart, Yokozuna, Triple H, RVD, Mike Awesome and Chris Kanyon working on skills and gaining pop. The plan is in a couple of years to have the entire roster full of young workers that can lead the company into the future.</p><p> </p><p>

The strangest development is that I quit the NWA and formed a new talent trading alliance with AJPW and.... the WWF! It allows my young guys to get the rub from working with big stars and allows me to present plenty of dream scenarios. Vince McMahon appearing at Starrcade? Bret Hart vs Mitsuharu Misawa? Sting vs Shawn Michaels? Kenta Kobashi vs Randy Savage vs Scott Hall? Anything is possible...</p>

<p>Doing a save with Impact Wrestling on Fleisch's April 2017 DB. My favorite storyline atm is actually for the Knockout's title... </p><p> </p><p>

Rosemary retained against Madison Rayne at Lockdown. Next Impact, Madison wants a rematch, but The Decay surround her and threatens her. Out comes Ronda Rousey to her debut, and tells Decay she's a legit fighter and not afraid. She forms a friendship with Madison, and beats Rosemary for the title at Hard Justice. Madison gets jealous and acts heelish (no turn though), but Rosemary wants a rematch. Leads to a triple threat at SlammiVersary.</p>

October 2017 has come and passed for the WWE, closed by an excellent Halloween Havoc PPV, but first they powered through two PPV events in September. The first being the return of the Capitol Punishment for the Smackdown brand, the show was headlined by the final one on one match between The Phenomenal AJ Styles, and the Universal Champion Finn Balor in a ladder match. The show started with another fantastic match, and another title defence for the Tag Team Champions ‘The Heroes of Wrestling’ Cesaro and Kassius Ohno as they dispatched of recently reunited Gallows and Anderson in an 81 rated match. Nakamura pinned The Miz to retain his title, while Becky Lynch overcame the odds to defeat Nikki Bella to retain her title. The Irish Lasskickers condition was in question, after teaming up with her mentor Finn Balor against AJ Styles and Nikki Bella, post-match Styles went for a forearm, but Balor instinctively dodged and AJ ended up planting one on Becky’s chin. Despite the repeated apologies, Finn took the attack personally and used that to overcome Styles, climbing a ladder and grabbing his title. Raw hosted a Supershow which was headlined by Dean Ambrose vs Sami Zayn, the bout that Main Evented Wrestlemania this year, the rematch happened a few months later on an episode of Raw, as Ambrose became a two time champion, and the two went on to get a five star rating at Summerslam. Unfortunately, the crowd were tired of this matchup, and it certainly affected the match, drawing a 76 rating. In other news, a successful streak of wins for Jeff Hardy led to a shot at Sabre Jr’s US Championship, unfortunately it didn’t end well for the ‘Charismatic Enigma’ as he submitted to a Cross Armbar, ZSJ wasn’t finished there though, breaking Hardy’s arm. Coincidentally, Jeff is going to tour with his band. Aries defended against Hideo Itami in a great contest, and after topping Charlotte at Summerslam, AJ Lee lost her title the next night. Charlotte defended her championship against AJ, Bayley and the recently turned heel Carmella.

WWE also had two PPV events in October, of sorts. Smackdown held a Supershow of their own, although this seemed to be directed at just progressing storylines in the eight week gap between Capitol Punishment and the Survivor Series event. You could tell it was a phoned in event which was opened by Alicia Fox vs Paige. Alicia had begun establishing herself in the division, before the Anti-Diva Paige attempted to bring her back to reality, the two collided at the SSS and Alicia Fox cemented her position in the division, Axe Kicking her way to victory. Baron Corbin won the recently founded WWE Network Championship which is to be defended between the Main Roster and the three NXT brands, but then clocked by Painkillers, likely stemming from a recent shoulder injury. Corbin was shipped off to Rehab and the title was stripped from him, just as a push was beginning. It was announced that at Survivor Series, The HoW would defend their titles against three other teams, #DIY, Gallows and Anderson and The Revival. At the SSS, the Heroes of Wrestling were locked inside of a cage, forced to team together with #DIY in a Total Mayhem match, against the team of The Revival and Gallows and Anderson. Gargano picked up the victory. Shinsuke and Becky teamed against their former opponents, defeating Nikki Bella and The Miz. Balor defeated Roman Reigns in a great 83 rated match to retain his title.

http://i.imgur.com/gUkb4yK.png

Raw didn’t hold back though. The show opened with a good opener of Austin Aries defending his title against Rich Swann. Swann upset the odds defeating Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas and Neville in a number one contenders match, after spending the majority of his time in the division doing nothing, to be crowned Number One Contender to Aries title. The gap in ability was exposed during the title match though, Aries dominating the majority of the match and retaining his title in just 7 minutes following a Rolling Fivearm. Carmella believed AJ cost her the title last month during the Four Way Dance, with AJ submitting Carmella to eliminate her, and the Princess of Staten Island wasn’t afraid to tell AJ how she saw it, even taking pot shots at AJ’s ‘Failure’ of a boyfriend who just quits from any challenge (he walked out on me after just three months, meaning he quit WWE twice), the feud quickly turned sour and was booked for the PPV show. Carmella backed up her claims defeating AJ with the Code of Silence. Itami and Owens have been feuding on Raw, leading to the debut of Kyle O’Reilly saving Itami from a Powerbomb onto the exposed concrete (Owens and O’Reilly would then have an 80 rated match in KoR’s debut match). Itami defeated Owens in 18 minutes following a Go To Sleep at the PPV. After being eliminated by Luke Harper during a Number One Contenders Gold Rush match (think Progress’ Thunderbastard match), Wyatt felt like he was turned on, the two competed with Harper walking away victor. I’m basically just trying to build more babyfaces. After breaking Jeff Hardy’s arm just over a month ago, Sabre Jr had been running an Open Challenge, and this continued at Halloween Havoc, his opponent had a PREMINISHUNNN. Sabre Jr’s opponent? The brother of the man who’s arm he’d broken. Unfortunately, Matt couldn’t compete with Sabre Jr who just toyed with Hardy, and in ten short minutes, Hardy was forced to tap to a Double Wrist Lock. Sabre Jr didn’t release the hold though, proceeding to break the arm of his challenger. Charlotte defended her title against Sasha Banks, Aleister Black continued his rise to the top, undefeated still. Crews challenged Ambrose to a title match and everyone presumed a walk over for the current World Champ, it was far from that. Crews hitting an Apollo combination, before lining up for a Sit-out Powerbomb, Crews lifted Ambrose before planting him into the mat, the referee counted to two before he was yanked out of the ring by a masked wrestler, who ran in the ring hitting stiff strikes to Crews who was sat into the corner, allowing Ambrose to recover and hit a Dirty Deeds and retain his title.

<p>Yeah, in all honesty and respect to Austin, Flair or Vader would have been much bigger names to participate in that match. Even Rick Rude would have been a bigger name for WCW.</p><p> </p><p>

But if you're going off of main faces for the company, it would have unquestionably been Flair and Sting.</p>

my create-a-fed company(United Wrestling Revolution) just held their annual "wrestlemania": Revolutionary War at the Georgia Dome July 2017 and it made good on the promise to deliver:

in the pre-show kickoff:

Christina Von Eerie defeated Veda Scott for #1 contendership at a later date for the Vixen's Championship(currently held by Jessicka Havoc)

The Motor City Machine Guns overcame the odds in the United Tag Team Championships when they won the titles against former champs Magnus and Wade Barrett. Kenzo Suzuki and Kazuchika Okada and the Young Bucks were also in the match.

Main Card:

Amazing Red won a battle royale

Joe Doering(current holder of the UWR Television Championship) defended and retained the TV title against Mark and Jay Briscoe in a handicap match.

Melanie Cruise won the Women's Championship against Madison Rayne

Ryback defeated Cody Rhodes, Prince Puma, Alberto Del Rio, Alex Riley, and

Monster Tarver in the event's annual "Golden Ticket" match. Same stakes as MITB where you retrieve an item and winner gets to cash-in his ticket for a title. But match is set like an Ultimate X(hanging wires) and to add our own spin on both ideas by putting the competitors in an open-roof cage.

Joshua Caleb defeated AJ Styles in what was supposed to be hyped as MOTN but critics and fans felt it dragged on for too long and the rating suffered for it. This feud is far from over though, as I intend to learn from this mistake at the next big event, Halloween Homecoming.

Brandon Gatson has been on FIRE this year. He has not lost a match on regular TV or PPV since game-start this year and has been in a great feud with Sami Callihan for the coveted International Championship(formerly known as such, since Gatson won the title and has arrogantly called it the Gatson Championship) They actually delivered their promise to tear the house down but Sami couldn't make due with the promise to beat Brandon, win the title and rename it back from that stupid name. This only boosts Brandon's ego even more than it already has.

(On the aftermath show, Gatson celebrated in the ring and asked Sami to come out as a show of sportsmanship. Sami did and extended his hand, but Gatson refused the handshake and gloated about the win some more. He even tried to give Sami a blown up picture of him being beaten at the event to hang in his house "it'll add value to your crappy section-8 home" Gatson gloated. But Sami got the last laugh and attacked Gatson)

Jay Lethal, winner of the Sin City Rumble earlier this year could NOT defeat Kenny Omega for the UWR Revolution Championship. At a 92 rating it was the best match of the night, but the feud, stakes and emotion involved helped the rating. Jay who was one of the biggest faces on the brand turned heel after a vicious attack on Kenny Omega.

And finally the main event was a 5way elimination match for the Universe Championship:

James Storm© vs. Adam Cole vs. Lashley vs. Chris Hero vs. Davey Richards

Davey was eliminated first, then Chris Hero. Adam Cole was eliminated 3rd. Lashley and Storm have had quite the rivalry of the year over that championship, in fact Storm won it off Lashley back in March. Lashley won to become a 2-time Universe Champion.

(James Storm is going to take some time off after having a good run as champ, opening doors for future contenders for the title)

like mentioned earlier, our next Major PPV event is Halloween Homecoming, our anniversary show!
