So, I'm at Local and getting slapped down by RIPW every show I run because of their vastly superior production values.

I've raised each category 1 or 2 levels (basically got all the cheap-ish ones).

Does being closer, but still worse, than a rival have any impact on the effect on my show ratings?

My 5 shows pre-Local were C+, C, C, C, C.

Post-Local they've been D+, D, D+, D, D+, D+.

I'm not changing any of my general booking approaches and my workers are much the same, so I'm not sure whether raising my production values is reaping any benefits, or if I'd be better off banking the 2k or so a month it's costing me to have the bare minimum required at Local.

I think it's highly dependent on your goals with the company, competitors, economy, and wrestling industry.

Running one show a month is probably going to get you a net loss in popularity, but is of course less costly (although if you've upgraded music and broadcast production to the point where they don't have a "per show" cost, running more shows is more cost effective for them). A high economy/poor wrestling industry would be a good time for this approach--sponsorship money would remain near peak and the extra cost of running more shows won't see equivalent returns in popularity.

Running biweekly or weekly shows is going to put you at a more significant loss, but you'll ultimately probably find yourself with a net gain in popularity. If you keep pushing in this direction, you'll eventually start making a solid profit at the upper levels of Small and then break into Regional. I think it's probably worth trying this route at any time that wrestling industry is average to high, since staying at low Small and getting pummeled in regional battles every month is probably eventually going to kill your company.

Just try to help. Did you name your copied pictures as their default wrestler name on database? Let's say his default name is "David_Finlay_Jr" , so your new picture should be named as "David_Finlay_Jr" .

How do you tell if a worker is still in a scandal? I had Kenny Omega in a scandal a couple months ago so I dropped him... AJPW just put in an offer for him. They aren't hurting as a company, in fact doing very well so it's not like they need a risk. Is the scandal over or do they just not care?

Workers inside a company use a different picture than everywhere else (this doesn't mean it can't be the same pic).

To change worker picture for your company, go to your roster screen and click the worker's name. Click on the picture. It offers a list of possible pictures.

To change worker picture everywhere else, go to the in-game editor, search the worker from "Workers". Open. Once again, if you click on the picture, it offers a list of possible pictures.

I'm creating a graphical mod called Cornellverse Alive and all of the pictures in that mod end with a "_CA"(without the " "). If I name the picture to the worker's name and change the default picture to something of a different name then it will fix the problem? I'll go try it! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Do working still get a percentage towards Hall Of Immortals due to legendary matches? I've just had two A* matches, with two competitors being in both, yet neither of them are any closer to getting inducted, nor are any of the others in the matches. Has this change?

(For the record 5 of the six are 0% towards induction, the other is still the 10% he was before. I'm also at national and the second match was on PPV if that changes anything)

While you may have got an A*, it probably wasn't rated 100 if your wrestlers didn't get the 5% towards the HOI. I've had a few 100 matches and they did contribute 5% towards the Hall of Immortals each time.

Being behind in all 4 is worse and will drop a C+ grade all the way down to D+.

I've had something similar happen to me in that my show grades dropped from C- levels to D- levels when I first went up to small. They improved once I had my Music and Broadcasting levels equal to my best rival, but kept dropping until I managed to raise all 4 to the level of my rivals.

Either this is a patch problem, or more likely I am wondering if it's because they weren't one-on-one matches? One was a six man tag, the other was a triple threat match, would that be it? the two that did contribute were both 1-on-1?

Yeah, you'd have to confirm non-singles matches don't contribute to HOI.

Which makes sense really, because with a hot storyline and half-decent workers who are over, you can get a 100-rated match pretty easily in a tag match.

How old should my main eventers be if I don't want to risk them becoming egotistical?

Sean McFly always becomes extremely egotistical in my CV97 games because he's in the SWF main event scene at 23 years old, even though he starts out humble, so I'm wondering what the cutoff age is for being too young to be a main eventer.
