Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

I am booking Starrcade in the Montreal Aftermath mod and in the Main Event i want Hulk Hogan to loose the World Title to Roddy Piper but despite what i do, Hogan refuses to loose against Piper by playing out his Creative Control. I tried to keep him Strong and even let Sting and The Giant interference, he still refuses. Then i wanted to perform a Screwjob, but Piper doesn't want that.

How can i talk Hogan into taking the lose?

Did you protect him as well? What about dominate?

I'd try protect/dominate/keep strong/flash pinfall/interference and see if he agrees. If he doesn't, I doubt it's going to happen.

Does this mean the wrestlers need more psychology or the road agent does? </p><p> </p><p>

Did you use the 'Script' Note? That makes a difference, unless their psych is abysmal.

<p>Quick question:</p><p>

I have a TV-show, with TV-deals in three regions of America (Tri-state, South East and Mid-Atlantic). I hold my shows in Tri-state, as my popularity is biggest there. After the show, it says "This show increased our popularity in 1 region"... Now, I am seen in 3 regions, and the overall grade is much higher than my popularity in all three regions. The show is taped Wednesday and shown on Sunday... Does the note just take into consideration the number of regions that can see you at the time of the show being held? And will I then gain pop in the remaining two regions when the show is aired?</p>

If anyone has the Mamoth gimmick file that existed for 13, please let me know. My Laptop died recently and i haven't been able to turn its hard drive into an external yet, so until that happens, i'm going to be missing a lot of stuff and can't import them myself from 13. If anyone has it, either the 13 or 16 version, please send me a pm with link. I would be very thankful.

<p>I was hoping for some help from those who have made the jump from Regional to Cult to National:</p><p> </p><p>

We have deals with Arcadia to run a weekly TV show, U-Demand to show PPV, and NCTV to show Free-To-Air specials (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.). On average for the past six months we've made $750,000/mo profit. We have just about $10 million in the bank. Several top stars. We're able to contend with the bigger promotions on some workers when bidding wars start. We could ideally win them all if I wanted to go on a spending spree.</p><p> </p><p>

When I look at the National Battles screen it worries me though. SOTBPW has a massive lead with drawing power of 4,598, SWF has 3,988 and USPW with 3,912. If we were eligible we'd be in last place with 3,677. We need 3pts in one area (two areas have 62) to get the 8 regions in the USA to make the jump. I have us locked at Cult for now though. I wouldn't ideally make the jump until we've grown quite a few points above the threshold for National.</p><p> </p><p>

I haven't done this in TEW16 yet and I wanted to know if anyone has. Are my finances going to go crazy? <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> When I made the jump to Cult, we were fairly established in four regions (unlike the minimum two) but we still lost money for about three months until we made enough to keep up with the expenses. We didn't lose a ton of money those months either. It fixed itself in that regard.</p>

<p><strong><em>Question about "Eye Candy" booking in an SE Company...</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

</em></strong></p><p>

In changing the SWF to have a women's division, I now must present an "Eye Candy" match on every show. Now, if I put someone like Joanne Rodriguez into a match, who is both beautiful and talented, will it matter that she's good in the ring OR will it only go off of her looks?</p><p> </p><p>

Thank you!</p>

I think you are at a point where you need to do you best to get ahead in a region that you're inactive in, so that you can get a TV deal hopefully commercial, and eventually PPV. For example, if you are an American Company, have bleedover in Canada but down run shows there, are cult in Japan, perhaps attempt to get a deal in Australia. You will make more money from the TV deal which is needed when rising levels, and your workers will become more popular and have higher scores in the top five. </p><p> </p><p> I think in your situation you should stay cult until you can bump SWF to number 3, otherwise it's going to be a long process.</p>

Being talented will help the match, but I believe eye candy matches are capped around B or B-.

Thank you!

I was wondering how that process went (before booking it in a show). I wish they could have more of a serious tone, but maybe the 'Eye Candy' matches will be for some of the less talented female wrestlers. Then, I'll let J-Ro do her thing.

So I'm running a game where my women's division is pretty bland. I'm running a split roster so one of my rosters doesn't have a Women's Championship. I'm planning a tournament type deal where I'm gonna award the new title. I don't really want these matches on my main shows because they'll tank the rating severely. So my question is is there a way I can run a sort of one off, special event? How do I go about this? Does it have to be televised?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

<p>So im curious. I dont think ive got an answer.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

If I have a PPV deal with a company thats Huge in the USA. A deal thats Medium in Canada.</p><p> </p><p>

But i sign a 3rd deal thats smaller in both regions but gives me Mexico coverage will that cause problems? Or will it just take the best coverage for each region leaving my Mexico coverage in the 3rd broadcaster to be the only real part being shown during my eventS?</p>
