I had a save with my product like that, no gimmicks needed. So many times I had people at irritated level morale and when I looked at their character sheet it said they were upset due to their poor gimmick. So it wouldn't surprise me if popularity was in the same boat as morale effects when it comes to gimmicks.</p>

Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening with this one company? I have 20+ child companies I have bought all airing on my network, yet every month or so WINNOW get dropped as they keep cancelling shows, no other company does that. I keep renewing the contract and it happens again. Very frustrating</p>

They're a child company so should hire who they need. Just to add to this looks like due to my global network owning 6 all women's companies that they are all sharing a lot of the same women on different nights and in my game there is only 2 unemployed female wrestlers....guess I am the cause of the WINNOW downfall due to there just not being enough people to hire.

For example, Nakamura pretty much carried on the same gimmick from NJPW to WWE. New Japan's presentation primarily focused on his in-ring skills and the gimmick was a good bonus on the side whereas the WWE product is more gimmick-heavy;the shows might benefit in different ways (match/show grades) but the person reaps the benefit of a good gimmick (personal pop gains) regardless.</p><p> </p><p> I can also think of it the other way around: a generic bland babyface is boring no matter what, but he'll suffer more in a mainstream and angle heavy promotion and less in one focused on workrate.</p>

I am trying to do a modified RTG challenge. I selected my user charecter as an owner, and started with a 0/0/0/1000 fed. I tried to put myself into a tag team but my name is unavailable. I saw that I am set as a non-wrestler. I used the ingame editor to set him to wrestler, and set status to active, saved, and advanced a day. My guy is still listed as status-non wrestler even though i will go check in the editor and says active there. What am I doing wrong? Is there anyway to fix this and set my status as active wrestler without having to restart the save??</p>

Maybe if you paired them up with a manager?</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of managers, I have a question. </p><p> My worker has good chemistry with her manager, but is always getting a penalty on the dirt sheet saying "fades due to manager". (She also get the chemistry bonus). So my question is; should I find her a new manager? Is the penalty cancelling out the bonus or is one more weight (and if so, which one?)? It's so hard finding a manager that gets you a chemistry bonus (even worse when you consider that pesky face/heel divide) but if the fade is equal or greater than the chemistry I guess she needs to be scheduling more managers during the houseshows again ...</p>

To the best of my knowledge, this is an issue with the manager being more over than their client - older fans may remember Sunny outshining the Body Donnas, or more recently Lana with Rusev.

 

I may be wrong, however, and that may be a different note.

so, since they have working chemistry I should have them stick together and hope the active wrestler eventually gets as popular as the manager?

It's always good to have a manager that is over enough, as it will be easier for him to put the worker over. Put them in angles together, try and feed off of the manager's pop.</p>

It doesn't work well, that's where you get the "outshining" thing from.</p>

But I've only seen it after they go 6 months to a year without a contract.</p><p> </p><p> I might be wrong however, hopefully somebody chimes in if I'm wrong, so you're probably better off manually changing it yourself.</p>

<p>I am currently running a regional level company in Japan with a real world mod and have several workers under PPA deals that I share with New Japan. I am currently in one of their off-months, but their workers still show up on my schedule as being unavailable due to their commitment to New Japan. Is this a glitch or something? </p><p> </p><p>

I keep pushing back my scheduled shows to try and find a date when they are available for me, but I've gone through the entire month almost and every time it says that everyone is available to work, I get to that day and it changes to say that they are all working for New Japan instead.</p>

Star Power. You don't want a manager with 80 star power helping a wrestler with 30 star power. It doesn't work well, that's where you get the "outshining" thing from.

Do workers ever lose chemistry? I have a pair of main eventers that had chemistry, or I thought they did. They don't now.

<p>Is there any way possible to force an AI-controlled company to sign a wrestler? In my current game I released a wrestler due to his high contract demands. I honestly hoped a company, preferably one that was bigger than me such as WWE to sign him but that hasn't happened yet for months now. I noticed my Industry and Economy were fairly low (around 40s), could that be the issue?</p><p> </p><p>

Answered my own question, apparently WWE wouldn't sign him due to their hiring rules</p>
