Derek B
sorry this might have been asked before, but there's so many posts here I thought I'd ask again just in case anyone else is wondering. When a wrestler comes back from a touring with their band (in my case Steve Austin of all people formed a band!), how long can I expect him to stick around? Is there some sort of restriction on how often he can tour? Or within a certain amount of time? I don't want to put the WWF title on him for him to again change my booking plans if he goes off to tour so soon after getting back, if that makes sense. From my experience in dealing with musicians they tend to spend about 50% off the time away with their band. Obviously it varies a bit in each game, but I have tended to have a worker for 5 months then they head off for about 5 months. My developmental shows are having 70+ main events but overall scores in the mid-high 40's. Is there a reason this would be happening consistently? It's all about Production Values. Companies at a similar level that have lower production values suffer penalties, with each level of difference causing larger penalties. They can't be changed by you as the parent company unfortunately, so you have to rely on them opting to increase them on their own.

If that is the case that really changes my game up, because I don't want to hotshot the title every 5 months.

We've had no drop in company pop, our attendances haven't suffered and Austin already has the pop back that he initially lost when the scandal broke. Gungner
I've wondered about these "independent shows". What are they exactly? They pop up every once in a while, fx. "Mexican Independent Show" and so on. Are they shows held every once in a while for workers without jobs?

Exactly, once a month there is independent shows held in each region that just uses unemployed stars. I figure it uses more than just the wrestlers themselves. Essentially to boost pop, and help unemployed guys grow still. If you goto the new article and filter by companies you can see the independent promotions. Hazemore
in my game, there are lots of new characters with insane basics, safety and selling, but s--- everything else. those 3 stats are all in the 90's, and these characters seem so much more worth the effort of building them up then the characters with real-life backstory's. I feel like this is unfair, is this what is meant to happen?

redhilleagle
I am running a UK fed currently at Cult. 2 regions are national but I need another 2. My top guys all average mid to late 60s pop but don't seem to be budging any higher for a couple of months. I am bringing in Sheamus on loan for 1 appearance to job to my main guy, but what else can I do to get my guys to that next level? More of the same? Hire people with more pop in the UK to job to my main eventers?
