You get a prestige hit, go into a shocked state, and no longer be able to sign people from anywhere around the world.</p><p> </p><p> Foreigners you've signed will stay with your company though, and they'll stay active in your area.</p>

For instance, a Regional company will only sign deals for events, and a Cult company will only do events and one weekly show, even though at Cult you can have up to two weekly shows.</p>

So I've meant to ask this for a while and I keep forgetting. Any easy way to check the roster numbers for a child / developmental promotion against requirements? I prefer to run developmental style, which means that the company won't hire extra workers if I'm below the minimum threshold. At least at the start of save. But I can't see anywhere that shows the minimum a company of that size should have. I've been able to go into the pre-game editor, create a blank promotion with approximately the same popularity and check the Roster Size recommendation that way, but that's a bit really cumbersome lol

I don't think there is but aren't roster size numbers consistent based off company size (local/small/regional/cult/national/international/global)? Could just write down the roster size necessary for small to cult? But yes, would be great if you could check ideal roster while checking on your developmental company's roster.

I was going to do something like that - I keep a spreadsheet so easy enough to keep the data in there. But I wasn't sure if the minimum roster sizes are purely linked to size or actual popularity. So a local company at 5 popularity in a single region... is it going to have a lower minimum than the same company at 10 popularity? If it does, that definitely makes it easier.

Does anyone know what determines whether or not a company gives there workers downside agreements? In my game PSW and QPW keep giving their workers downsides and it basically bankrupts them within a year every time. There are more popular companies who don't do this, as well more prestigious ones, yet it is always those two every single time. One of the owners is prudent with finances so it can't be that either.

Anyone know?

Does having a worker appear in pre- and post-show matches increase his popularity? Is it only in the region where the card is taking place (given that the pre- and post-show dont appear on broadcasts)? If so, do I get him a better popularity boost by putting him in matches against/tagging with more popular workers?

Thanks in advance.

He'll also tank angle ratings if he's rated on anything (even menace has less effect if he's less popular).</p><p> </p><p> There's a slightly manipulative trick people use to get not popular workers over quickly, and that is making them part of a 'not rated' group of workers that run in to break up a fight between two super popular wrestlers who are feuding.</p><p> </p><p> Ex. Rock Vs. Austin start fighting, the entire locker room clears out to pull them apart. All the locker room guys are set to be judged on nothing. Because Rock/Austin are super popular the angle will have a huge rating and everyone involved will get a bump in their popularity.</p><p> </p><p> Some people frown upon using it, I personally don't use it, but it's a singleplayer game and it's arguably the easiest way to get someone more popular without grinding them upwards through other means.</p>

I just got a dojo grad who has a 99 menace and a 47 SQ. Maybe I'm wrong, and I know that it's random, but if someone really had a 99 menace rating, doesn't that necessitate a fairly high SQ? If not, can I get an example of someone who would be considered that menacing but lack the star quality?

Star Quality is more than just being able to do one thing good, or the ability to look like you're capable of legit murdering something just by your presence.

Nathan Jones, Gene Snitsky, Mike Knox, Umaga all looked scary AF, but none of them other than maybe Umaga had that 'it factor'. Star Quality is that it factor, some have it but most people don't, the way a worker looks (ex. being a ripped heavyweight instead of a flabby lightweight) makes someone look more or less like a star in the way that they can look larger than life.

Star Quality is the difference between Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannety, between a career midcarder and a guy that will carry your company as the figurehead for the next 5+ years. You can't teach that it factor, you can hope they'll figure it out at some point, but most often than not it's pretty final other than them getting a lucky event that boosts SQ.

Ok, those examples make sense. I was having a hard time picturing someone who was menacing but had low star quality. Reading your post, Tyson Tomko came to mind. I think I get it now.

I'd go with Free To Air or Commercial. Would YOU pay extra to watch Sunday Night Heat?

Why would you go Free to Air? Isn't the whole point of that one is you get a wider audience? That wouldn't matter if there's no popularity growth for the company for B shows. Unless it means there's more popularity growth for the wrestlers, but the changes are so miniscule already that you would be pretty foolish to choose that over the extra revenue.

If Free-to-Air helped with popularity at all even with 'B' shows. I get what Matt_Black is saying, there won't be much demand in our reality. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> So if 'B' shows best avenue is making money, wouldn't like Subscription be the best broadcaster for them?</p>

I have 2 Developmental Companies that were in Alliances before I bought them (didn't know). How do I get them out? Other Alliance wrestlers keep flooding their cards with Alliance Title matches.

The Developmental Company's owner would have to make the decision to leave. I don't think that there is a way to do it as the parent company. Maybe edit in the In-Game Editor?
