Eisen-verse
It's close but I would say this one I agree with you. To me, it's between the first one and the last one and the first one is more legible, in my opinion. Thank you for the insight, guys. I changed the background color to the logo. The gold was just too much for me. That said, I've gone toward a more neutral tan grunge coloring. From there, I jumped with the font from the 3rd option up there. I tried going with a completely different concept with another logo attempt but I'm not as happy about it. It's grown on me, and it's more unique, but I think I may still go with the one above (and not below):
Briskout
So... this has been something jumping around in my head, although Eisen-verse is posting a similar idea... Roll tape… In Los Angeles, there is beautiful coastal land… …there are royal men… …and the Rich and Famous. There is gang warfare… …as the people fight to survive… …as generals come from all over… …it seems the city sits in a state of destruction… …but the weather’s always changing… So sit tight for the Battle of Los Angeles! Darbicus
Could I actually start a diary and finish it????? Does anyone really care? What would you want to see most of all? - A re-styling of WWF from 1985 on? (done in my WWE Network style, ie only covering major events and their leadups.) - Another crack at WWF 1991? - A heavily modified WWF 1993 scenario that gives Luger a good face run? - Another crack at WCW 1994? - Something else entirely? - Just give up and play Pong or something. Eisen-verse
I have finally settled upon Los Angeles Xtreme Wrestling. I know Brisk is looking at something similar but I feel we can both tell two different stories; making an LA-based company possible for both of us. My version will be a first-person account of the creation of Los Angeles Xtreme Wrestling. In turn, the "War for SoCal" theme will be used once again in this go-around; warring with IPW and GSW in our region. In this vein, it'll be like the East Coast Wars of the Cornellverse 90's (only, now, focused on the West Coast). Unlike my prior LAX Wrestling project, there will be a reason for why this company is truly warring with others in the area. In addition, the main character is going to be portrayed as a man looking to "conquer at all costs." He's combative, hellbent, and disliked by many in the region. Knowing this, he'll become the perfect rival to Grimm and IPW. I decided to go a totally different around with the logos. I like the previous concept, but it didn't fit the "Cornellverse look." Knowing this, I have created these two:

Eisen-verse
I like this. I can tell we are aiming a tad differently. As this weekend is my busiest weekend at work, I’ll probably launch my stuff next week sometime so I look forward to seeing what you start up with. I’ll post my own preview this weekend. Great! It seemed like our projects were going to be different in nature; so, thankfully we'll have our own stories to tell. I have to say that I'm overwhelmed by the excitement I feel for this upcoming project. I haven't had this feeling in a while, to say the least. It's going to take a documentary-style approach; important players in the story looking back on years gone by. This project will be through the eyes of many prominent people as the "War for SoCal" (West Coast War -- much like the cornellverse saw in the east during the 90's) is documented years ahead. It'll have multiple perspectives of big events; creating varying takes on what happened along the way. The stories that DO come along will be a combination of what the game provides me and additional creations of my own. The project should "go live" sometime within the next 2 weeks. I'm not going to rush it, even though I am excited, as I want to make sure everything is put together before I give it a good ole' college try. 20LEgend
Into The Shark Tank [WWE 2018] http://www.freestencilgallery.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/WWE-Logo-Stencil-thumb-150x150.jpg Coming out of WrestleMania, apparent leaks from various WWE insiders have reported plans for a shift in the style of Raw and Smackdown, with the two brands taking on clear and distinct products moving forward. Behind the scenes changes have seen creative shuffled around, with Smackdown becoming heavily focussed on the in-ring competition, and the storylines developed between the four ropes. Raw on the other hand will continue to promote the drama and pageantry that viewers have come to expect from the WWE, looking to focus on creating memorable moments and establishing home grown “Superstars”. This will come into effect with the second annual “Superstar Shake-Up”, where it is expected that Raw will take heavily from Smackdown’s established roster. Smackdown will then be expected to rebuild its roster, taking some fringe Raw talents, while incorporating some new arrivals from NXT. There is some belief that the changes may be in light of FOX’s interest in WWE’s television rights, where the broadcasters would likely put the shows on different networks. Presenting the more mainstream product, it is expected that Raw will fill the roster with superstar names, with the likely FOX Sports bound Smackdown looking to present itself as a more legitimate competition. Some also see this as a response to New Japan Pro Wrestling’s North American expansion, which has gained steam following a series of successful US based events. Of course, the idea of the company adapting to potential “competition” is being whispered quietly, and is something Vince McMahon would never admit to be the case. Whether this will change in the near future, as McMahon’s XFL 2020 project takes precedence to the WWE Chairman, is another subject of discussion within the company, which sees in a period of transition following the latest WrestleMania event. angeldelayette
Hey everyone. I hope you are all having a good morning. It's now been over a month since I have personally signed in to the GDS forum. I wanted to give everyone an update on where we stand with the GDS End Of Year Awards. To be honest, I don't think I am going to be able to give them a full and proper write-up like I would like to do. However, instead of delaying them any further, I am going to work this week to get out an abbreviated version with the winners and the first and second runners up in each category. I will leave a space for any acceptance speeches that anyone wishes to have done and placed inside the post. Thank you for your patience with this and I hope the results will be worth the wait, especially for the winners.

20LEgend
<p>Putting together a preview for a new dynasty, and I came across an issue with my images. Between Bray Wyatt and Chad Gable, there was an extra space. As you can see here:</p><p> <img alt="rYRfl8C.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rYRfl8C.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The space didn't appear to be there upon investigation, and I was confused.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, I eventually worked out what was missing. Because reading back the Raw roster, I realised that alphabeticallly there should have been another image between Bray and Chad. Despite their being an image URL for him (I assume it was a mistake on my part), the source of my problem was the fact that Brock Lesnar wouldn't show up. A perfect metaphor if there ever was one. Add in the fact that my first show discovered a lack of chemistry between Corey Graves and Jonathan Coachman, and I have a good feeling about this save <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Luckily the issue is resolved and I hope to have a show done at some point this evening...</p>
