Tag Teams / Stables / Naming Thread Suggestions

Recommended Posts

So I love playing the default universe, but what I also love doing, is taking the random Gens, or young workers that I end up signing with bad/mediocre stats and rename them in the game to a real world counterpart.

So in my game I have a few tag teams based off of these combinations I have used. (Also, I notice that while I will always push and use somebody like Greg Gauge or Hugh De Aske, the smaller guys being renamed and repackaged helps me boost up their usage some).

I don't know if the team names are the best but....

- Jeff Hardy and Ken Shamrock, heel team currently known as Mayhem Express....this one I really want to change. I threw together an 8 team round robin tournament that lasted a month, I kept track of all the stats and somehow realize they went undefeated with all pinfalls. At the End all event of the month, they beat my user character and the owner of the company to be crowned the first Tag Team Champs, and take home the Annual Round Robin Tag Team Classic Cup. The R.R.T.T.C.C.

- Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, Face team on the undercard, currently known as Montreal Screwjob.....I kind of like this one.

- Sid Justice and Kane....both Under 22 High Menace wrestlers I threw together as the bodyguard team to another young wrestler named Antonio Rey...who I renamed to Antonio Del Reyo, who has turned into one of my favorite heel mouth pieces.

Any Suggestions for my CGC World Tag Team Champions, Greg Black & Donte Dunn? Black is the mentor of Dunn, and together they've been champs for nearly 7 months now. I figured it was about time they got a team name.

Trying to avoid the generic tag names, and well...a blatantly obvious "two black guys" tag team name. But I'm stumped on this one, nothing sounds good to me.

Thanks for any thoughts!

I need two separate names for my latest SWF game.

I plan to either team up, Bulldozer Brandon Smith & James Prudence as pair of serious wrestlers (who are faces) or have Bulldozer Brandon Smith and Jared Johnson as a pair of (Heel) lackeys, for Brandon James.

Playing 2006 and instead of the spirit squad, I'm wanting to go Frat.

I want them to be VKM

There really isn't letter for V. upsilon maybe ... but I can hear Vince yelling "Give me a greek letter dammit!"

So for VKM they would be <blank> Kappa Mu

If someone called them on it, they'd just make some comment about "of course the V is for Victory" or something to that effect.

Any ideas for a team name for Chavo Guerrero Jr and Mike Awesome? Just started a new save, put them together together in a random match on the first show and they happened to have great chemistry. Would love to push them, but I'd like to have a solid name first, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I need a name for a Vince Russo led heel stable for 2002 TNA. The members are Vince Russo, Jeff Jarrett, Daffney and The Harris Brothers and Vader is on good terms with the stable but not a official members. The concept is Russo using a authority figure position to shower his friends from WCW in championship oppourtunities. I considered borrowing from TNA's history but nothing I found sounded appealing to me.

So I'm slowly putting together a group in TCW made up of old-school "traditional" heels. Mix of vets and young guys who fit the profile but need to get over.

Currently the group consists of Human Arsenal and the Dynamite Express. I'll likely turn Bryan Vessey and have him join, and I'm looking at some young guys like Ernest Youngman and Sterling Whitlock.

Eric Tyler's going to be their mouthpiece. I feel like there's some canon involving him leading or being part of a similar group in the past, but I can't remember or find it.

Hired Andy Leavine and Johnny Emminger as locals to put over Gallows and Anderson on a Superstars taping, and discovered that Andy and Johnny had excellent chemistry. I thought about hiring them and wanted some name ideas. I'm considering letting Andy and Johnny keep their first names, but changing their last names. I think I'll go with Johnny Cannon for Johnny, but not sure about Andy. Then there's the team name I could probably use some help with.
