Markw Posted September 6, 2016 Share Posted September 6, 2016 I know it's a bit boring because they've not had a massive shake-up or anything like that, but I think PWI has piqued my interest the most. The increase in Mainstream/Modern, and Realism being knocked down a bit, has made PWI much closer to how I've always envisioned it. Plus it supports my interpretation of Shane Allman as well I think. Add to that Taylor Boston who I'm really looking forward to turning into a big star in PWI and a couple of strong dojo graduates coming in the first year and it should be a great game. Shame to lose both EnD oF tHe MiLleNiuM and the Van Holts, but the latter can be brought back together in the mid-term and in the mean time their feud should be great fun to book. PWSUX is my go to and favourite promotion, mixed feelings about how things have gone for them. I thought the last jump, losing Cross/Ieshia/Brandt/13TEEN was tough, but Klaxon & Ram Diablo going is huge, the Enemies of the State being broken up and losing one of my favourite characters in Love Freedom might make this one even worse. On the upside I've always felt like Bully should still be a big star for SUX so that's great, loving Butcher's arrival and the prospect of booking Jon Gann/Maxwell is really exciting. Jack Dennis looks awesome and some good stuff has been happening to ATW so they may well end up being my favoured promotion. Plus obviously excited about signing Glasgee and pushing him to the moon (Good spot Lionhart). While I'm rambling about my thoughts on the update, I'm a bit disappointed that Chase Paige/Paige Global didn't buy the AWF and release Timothy Hawk/Kelly. Would have created so many wonderful dilemmas. With the AWF you'd have lost your biggest star and have a roster with a large attitude entertainment contingent potentially having to be toned down to fit in with Paige Global. As PWI you'd have to struggle with whether Shane Allman would sign the face of Sports Entertainment and how he could justify that if he did. If you decide he wouldn't then there's numerous different places he could wind up that would be really interesting. I might have to have a fiddle in the editor and set up a couple of games on the back of Paige taking over the AWF rather than Chief. Basically I'm struggling to stop myself from starting 12,000 new games every day too. How on earth am I supposed to narrow this down. Professional Wrestling STARDOM (not to be confused with Pro Wrestling STARDOM >_>), based in the Great Lakes region. I started at Cult and cheated myself $50 million to open a broadcaster, a dojo, and a developmental territory, leaving slightly over a $1 million to work with. My first shows were a G1 Climax style tournament to crown a world champ. It was kind of booked on the fly, with a vague idea of who I wanted my stars to be: Leati The Headhunter, Ace Smith, and Alejandro Iglesias. I'm now on the first day of April and I've stolen a couple of workers, but I'm probably not going to do that anymore. AWF without Drake Richards feels so weird to me, but his eventual return will be glorious.</p><p> </p><p> Got a few ideas spinning around in my head for what I want to do with my new AWF game. I managed to luck into Cross picking up HavoK as his protege on my first show, which is perfect cause I wanted to do a Wyatt Family-esque/Raven's Nest gimmick prior to that. I was kind of surprised to see Cross not already in the main event after de-masking Core, but shouldn't be too difficult!</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of Cross, I'm planning on keeping his feud with Core alive for a bit with Core eventually turning heel and joining Cross' stable. I don't know when Core will hit his time decline (I assume he's got a good while before then), but I think having him play the bodyguard for Cross is nice. Maybe do the "Core earns his freedom/wakes up/etc." thing, but I like the idea of Cross, HavoK, and Core tormenting AWF.</p><p> </p><p> Think I'll turn Hawk heel in a few months and align with Silva Dolla. Maybe have Hawk screw over South or some other face not named Patriot. I think Garrett dethroning Silva with a returning Drake Richards helping take on Timothy Hawk would be neat.</p><p> </p><p> South being involved in the Best of Seven Series with Derrick Rollins is a bit tricky. I don't want Garrett to lose, especially if he is my next AWF World Champion, but I don't want to give him a short reign as US Champ and dump it off to someone else. Don't want to do a cheap win for Match 7 and it's too early for Hawk to turn heel. Could have someone like Towerblock cause Garrett to lose and they feud for a bit, but I dunno. Maybe Jean-Claude.</p><p> </p><p> The tag division is kind of in shambles. Don't want to keep Nick Hart confined in a tag team for long. I think ALPHA are the next champs, but I need to build them up a bit. Need to start looking into another babyface tag team to replace The Specialists. There's some good looking teams in FAW, but I'm not sure when they'll be ready yet.</p><p> </p><p> Women's division is looking niceeeeeeeee this year. I almost want to say that AWF has had their own women's revolution. Some good talent on the main roster and developing in FAW. I'm in love with Diamond's render, so naturally, she's gonna get pushed hard. Rosa vs. Diamond seems like the money Starlets feud.</p><p> </p><p> Bit worried that Jean-Claude Giroux is going to get lost in the shuffle. I love the guy and I loved him last year, but he got lost last year too. I'd like for him to get one more AWF World reign, but with Cross and Hawk probably being the top heels for the AWF World Championship, it doesn't look good.</p><p> </p><p> Hyped to get this game rolling and seeing how it all plays out. I'm considering even making it to where she has had some basic wrestling training so she can pull the occasional match off, like the McMahon/Bella match at SummerSlam a few years back. Basically, she'll be a real life Shadowrun villain. She's the perfect heel. She fired the face of the company, but she had justification for doing so. DRAGON Michinoku and Ryotaru Naruto are in deep time decline, but that's more than made up for by the wealth of young talent on the roster. In order to combat this I signed him to a 10 Year Written deal and gave him a comprehensive Drug Test, he came back positive for Soft Drugs so I sent him to rehab. Oddly enough he was pleased with this decision, so I'm hoping that means he's reformed his habits. It's supposed to have a cash prize attached to it of one trillion dollars if the champion can defend it X amount of times [Auth Note: This is just one route. The way I like to think of it is that they have to get to a designated drop off point each show but 24/7 rules are in effect and through comedy of errors no one ever cashes it in (and if they do, AWF management refuse to honour it because of one silly bylaw or something)]</p><p> </p><p> Effectively, it's a less hardcore Hardcore title. Just something for people not being used to do. Macca316 Posted September 10, 2016 Share Posted September 10, 2016 <p>So booking AWF and I want to turn Hawk heel, have him win the title thanks to my main Authority figure and align with said figure... only problem is that my main AF is Chase Paige and based on what Hawk did with Chase's sister I'm not too sure how to swing this, do I:</p><p> </p><p> A) Ignore it for on screen story purpose and treat it like it never happened. </p><p> </p><p> B) Reference it on screen as something that happened but have Chase putting it aside to essentially have not only control of the company but also over the World Title. </p><p> </p><p> C) Have them align and Chase essentially blame his sister, sibling rivalry and all that jazz and due to her leaving the business it let him take his rightful place atop not only the Paige Empire but the Wrestling world, also having the potential down the line to bring Lois back and align her with a lead babyface. </p><p> </p><p> Your idea's and advise would be appreciated guys.</p> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My plan for a Dolla face turn is to have V.I.P. win the Battle for LA match and then at some point after that the Dolla Club will turn on Silva Dolla and help V.I.P. steal the belt.
