It was clearly from the outset Jericho and Van Dam weren't going to get along, but for the sake of the match they at least tried to work together. That was until Rob Van Dam took matters into his own hands and took out Jericho from behind courtesy of a spin kick and left him alone to face Styles and Punk. This led to the inevitable happening in 21:40 when CM Punk defeated Chris Jericho by submission with an Arm Triangle Choke.
