He waits for the crowd to die down before cutting right to the chase.....he says that last week, he gave Kevin Nash seven days to sign his new and very much improved contract.....swallow his pride.....and walk down that aisle to shake the hand of the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels.....and ensure that those KLiQ dollars keep on rolling in....so first things first, he brings out the KLiQ....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="bN15JFv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bN15JFv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="tsQXS32.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tsQXS32.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="IYJgUWD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IYJgUWD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pzXetTl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pzXetTl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="MC3cI3I.jpg" data-src="https://i.Imgur.com/MC3cI3I.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....who once again make two separate entrances.....one for Hall, Waltman and Credible.....and a second, spotlight driven entrance for the WWF Champion Shawn Michaels (and Sunny who is hanging off his arm).</p><p> </p><p> Vince spends a few moments fawning over Michaels, while the rest of the KLiQ stand around looking disinterested.....clearly it's only the money keeping them at Michaels side right now....before breaking the bad news that before they get down to reuniting the Black and White express, there is the small matter of In Your House to discuss.....and the fact that Michaels will need to defend the WWF Championship at the event....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....Vin man, relax......I'm Shawn Michaels....the Showstopper....the Main Event.....you line them up, and I'll knock them down....."</em></p><p> </p><p> Shawn says that he knows who <em>won't</em> be challenging him at the Pay Per View.....it wont be either Bret or Owen Hart.....it wont be Steve Austin or Brian Pillman.....and it wont be Big Pile of Crap Scott Steiner, or whatever stupid nickname he's given himself.....Vince says no, before telling him that at In Your House, he's going to be defending the WWF Championship against Ahmed Johnson.</p><p> </p><p> Surprisingly Shawn doesn't bat an eye at that.....saying that it doesn't matter who steps between those ropes....because with the KLiQ by his side, there's no one here in the WWF.....or ANY company.....that can take this Title from around Shawn Michaels waist.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>"......so let's get this show on the road.....Kev, Big Man.....walk yourself down that aisle.....give your old buddy The Heartbreak Kid a big Million Dollar Handshake.....and lets get the band back together.....because a great front man is only as good as his backing group.....and the best front man in all of professional wrestling, doesn't like to be kept waiting....."</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>....::::!!!!GLASS SHATTERS!!!!::::....</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="LjBLTcA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LjBLTcA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="SC2jCnQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SC2jCnQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ......well that's not Kevin Nash.......it is however an extremely p*ssed off Stone Cold Steve Austin......and a slightly unhinged Loose Cannon Brian Pillman......and considering the reaction these two men were garnering just a month ago, the crowd explodes for them here as they march down the aisle. </p><p> </p><p> Michaels doesn't like the look of that, and orders Hall, Waltman and Credible to get to the floor to keep them away from him....at first it looks as though the KLiQ aren't planning on going anywhere, but McMahon barks that if they want to keep their lucrative contracts, then they had better protect his prize asset.....the WWF Champion. The trio finally head to the floor to meet the charging Austin and Pillman.....and a wild brawl ensues.....a wild brawl that almost sees the former Tag Team Champions waylay the KLiQ and storm the ring.....but McMahon calls out an army of security from the back, who are able to contain the Loose Cannon and Stone Cold.....before eventually managing to handcuff the pair and drag them back up the aisle, kicking and cursing the whole way. Hall, Waltman and Credible are battered and bruised, but thankfully, much to Vince McMahons relief, Shawn Michaels is unharmed. The close call however has left the owner flustered....demanding that Austin and Pillman be escorted to the nearest law enforcement venue, where he wants them detained for Shawn Michaels safety....before letting Kevin Nash know that he has until the end of Monday Night Raw, to show up and do the right thing.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img style="max-width:10%;</p><p> "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/5ARJfr6.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/5ARJfr6.jpg"></a><img alt="wdkMubP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wdkMubP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="3aG14Jp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3aG14Jp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Mr. Perfect made it two for two last week, because after finding himself on the winning side at the Survivor Series, he once again had his hand raised in last weeks Tag Team match.....can he make it the Perfect trifecta tonight? Not if Marc Mero has anything to say on the matter.....especially since he found himself on the losing side of both of those wins. Perfect stops via the commentary table on his way to the ring to greet Raws newest announcer Ravishing Rick Rude.....who first informs us that He and Mr. Perfect are close friends who go way back....and secondly, calls the least impartial match since Bobby Heenan's tour de force during the 1992 Royal Rumble match.</p><p> </p><p> Jim Ross questions whether or not there are some conflicts of interest involved now that Mr. Perfect has returned to active competition, considering that he is <em>supposed</em> to be concentrating on guiding the career of Billy Gunn.....but Rude says no.....Mr. Perfect can be the Perfect Executive Consultant AS WELL as being the Perfect in ring competitor.....surprisingly Billy Gunn is not out there with Perfect tonight....but we do have a surprise arrival.....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="x7S7R0g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/x7S7R0g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....as after a close, hard fought battle.....Jesse James of all people makes his way down to ringside.....and behind the back of the official, trips the leg of Mero, who stumbles straight into the Perfect-Plex and the one, two, three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Mr. Perfect</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="3aG14Jp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3aG14Jp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="x7S7R0g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/x7S7R0g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The match is in the bag, and although he continues his Perfect return.....Mr. Perfect is somewhat perplexed by the reason for the assist of Jesse James....James is unphased however hopping into the ring to raise the arm of the victor...during which the cameras pick up the young man's reason for being there....he's looking for an executive consultant of his own to take him to the very top. Dok begins by asking how Rocky Johnson is following the devastating betrayal by his own son.....their view on the man recently renamed The Rock.....and their chances of capturing the WWF Tag Team Championships from the KLiQ, especially since the Nation of Domination seem hell bent on making sure that doesn't happen. </p><p> </p><p> Rikishi says obviously Rocky Johnson is a broken man about now.....so is his mother Ata Maivia, and the whole Samoan community....but you can be sure of one thing....."The Rock".....or whatever he wants to call himself now.....he's gonna get his.....along with the rest of the Nation of Domination.....right after the Sons of Samoa take those Tag Titles home to the Islands.....Rikishi says there has never been a better time to be facing the KLiQ.....he says money talks for now, but Shawn Michaels ego is gonna tear that whole group apart....and Rikishi and the big man Kokina, they're gonna be there to pick the bones.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="tVfGex3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tVfGex3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img style="max-width:10%;</p><p> "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/j24FAoX.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/j24FAoX.jpg"></a></p><p> </p><p> Oh boy.....Rey Mysterio truly does have the heart of a lion.....and while he may be the current WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, he clearly has his eye on bigger things.....much bigger things.....because they don't come any bigger or badder than Kane. Mysterio requested this match up off the back of Kanes unprovoked attack during last weeks Light Heavyweight Championship match, but he's bitten off far more than he can chew here.....because Kane has him out powered, out weighed....and frankly out matched....because nothing that Mysterio does has an impact on the Big Red Monster. Mysterio to his credit will never say die....and he doesn't back down....and in all reality his is kicking out of moves when it would really be in his best interest to just stay down.....in fact, Kane brutalises the little luchador so much..... </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="pLtZNWI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pLtZNWI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ......that Chris Candido eventually makes his way down the aisle.....and after pleading with Mysterio to just stay down, eventually throws the towel in for the Light Heavyweight Champion. Rude questions why Candido would care what happened to Rey Mysterio, but Jim Ross informs us that it may be a case of protecting his investment....because Chris Candido has a shot at that Light Heavyweight Championship coming up at In Your House.....and an injured Champion can't defend the title. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Kane (by stoppage)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="eLDIoSz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/eLDIoSz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> It's promo time here again tonight....as Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring. Jericho is a prime example of what Vince McMahon wanted the "new generation" to be when he first debuted the concept a few years prior.....he's young....he's hungry....he can work....he can talk.....the dirt sheets love him....the fans love him.....and when he was given the ball and the chance to headline his first Pay Per View against the WWF Champion, Shawn Michaels, he took that ball and ran with a match of the year performance. </p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately for him, he performed so well in there with Shawn Michaels, that the Heartbreak Kid decided that he needed to remove Jericho from the title picture.....which is exactly what he did, by bringing Jericho's former tag Partner, Lance Storm into the WWF to keep Lionheart's eye off the top prize.....and apparently that's exactly what he's done.....because Jericho is out here to let Lance Storm know that WWF President Gorilla Monsoon, has sanctioned a match between the pair at the upcoming In Your House event. </p><p> </p><p> Jericho says that ever since Lance Storms arrival, he has done thing but cheap shot and attack Jericho from behind.....and while he may have eliminated Lionheart from the Survivor Series match, that was only because Jericho had a mountain to climb, facing four men by himself. He tells Storm that he's not entirely sure what his problem is.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....I never double crossed you, I never stabbed you in the back....my only crime, was wanting to compete in the BEST wrestling company in the world.....and the fact that I got signed off my own back.....and YOU had to bought in by Shawn Michaels, because the Boy Toy knew that it was only a matter of time until that WWF Championship was around MY sexy waist......and that's fine......because once I've finished with you at In Your House, I'll be moving on to the Royal Rumble, where I'll outlast 29 other superstars to main event Wrestlemania......."</em></p><p> </p><p> Jericho tells Storm that if you've got any sense in that head of yours....you should concentrate on showing people WHY you deserve to be in the WWF.....because Lance really are one of the best technical wrestlers on the face of the earth........unfortunately, he's no Chris Jericho.....and at In Your House, Lionheart will prove just that. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="Rc3NoDZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Rc3NoDZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tTABVbX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tTABVbX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> While Jericho is heading to the back, we go to a quick segment with Dok Hendrix, who's standing by with big Psycho Sid. Sid is still smarting from being on the receiving end of a number of Jeff Jarrett guitar shots now.....the first of which arguably cost him the WWF Championship, while the second ensured that he was eliminated from the Survivor Series match.....obviously Sid is not a happy camper, basically telling Jarrett to......</p><p> </p><p> <em>"......count your days......count your dollars......and count your blessings......because they're all gonna come crashing down around you, when you step into that ring.....with the master......and the ruler.....of the world.....see Jarrett, you might have sold your soul to the Million Dollar Man.....but your ass belongs to me....."</em></p><p> </p><p> Sid says he doesn't know where, he doesn't know when, but somewhere down the line, Jeff Jarrett is going to pay for his actions.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="5efTwVQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5efTwVQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="tMF90pK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tMF90pK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> It's time to showcase the light heavyweights now.....and while Jerry Lynn has had a few opportunities to showcase his talents....most prominently when he challenged Sean Waltman for the Division's Championship....Christopher Daniels has been more involved in The Flocks affairs to fully show what he can do. Both men pull out all the stops tonight, and it's a good little match with lots of back and forth action.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the firing of Hunter Hearst Helmsley a few months back has also played out in Daniels favour....because he is able to revert to his usual finishing manoeuvre, the Pedigree style Angels Wings.....which he uses here tonight to dispose of his opponent.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> The Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> C+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="cr5i0Lz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cr5i0Lz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> As The Fallen Angel celebrates a hard fought victory, he is joined by a figure walking down the aisle.....Sherlock Snow and Doctor Head, still dressed in their ridiculous attire. Snow gets into the ring and congratulates his "team mate", but says he has other pressing matters to attend to......he says that last week, he was rudely interrupted before he was able to finish storytime with Sherlock Snow (bay-bay).....he says that when they left off last week, their fearless hero Dude Love was about to make his first on screen debut......in "The Loved One"......before indicating to the video screen......</p><p> </p><p> ......where a grainy old home movie is displayed.....and the "plot" (if it can be called that, is told in a series of flashbacks, showing a young Mick Foleys long journey....beginning with a failed suicide attempt (using a gun that shoots ping-pong balls) brought on after Mick propositions what he thinks is a woman but is actually a man. Eventually, at the urging of his friends, Mick decides to "get back into wrestling," using "The Masked Debater" as his gimmick......Snow pauses the video for a moment to answer Head, who appears to have a question.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....The Masked Debater?.....you don't get it?..........Do I have to spell it out for you?......Say "The Masked Debater" three times fast.......faster........now you get it......yes I know it's juvenile, but can we move on?......thank you....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ....after a supposed run of successful matches (which we don't actually see), The Debater is introduced to some female wrestling fans, and he turns on all his charm to get the girls.....it doesn't actually go according to plan however, and the ladies end up laying a beatdown of the Debator. Knowing that suicide didn't work last time, Debater decides he has only one choice....he has to contact The Grand Lizard of Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> He finally tracks down and introduces himself to The Lizard.....who is less than impressed with the hapless Debater. He showers his would be student with a series of insults (including the academy award worth line, "I wouldn't let you shake the urine off the tip of my penis") Eventually however, the Lizard agrees to train him, but he'll have to do it the Lizard's way.....and he rips Debater's shirt off, revealing a heart-shaped tattoo (drawn on with magic marker) squarely in the middle of Mick's chest. The Lizard then presents the Debater with his "first pajama top," and Dude Love is born.....</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="oJqc7jC.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oJqc7jC.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="P4qW3WS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/P4qW3WS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="NqqfCgY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NqqfCgY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vRMhRGa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vRMhRGa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tMF90pK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tMF90pK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GDTWVB2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GDTWVB2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="0VN77xg.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0VN77xg.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .......which unfortunately is all we are going to see tonight....because Raven is out with the Flock (and a rather sheepish looking Mankind) in tow....and he's not amused.....he tells Al that he told him to stop this nonsense last week......he's telling him again now for a final time.....Raven doesn't want Dude Love.....he doesn't need Dude Love.....and he certainly doesn't want to waste his time with someone as useless and pathetic as Dude Love.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".......I stared death himself in the face last week.....and he WILL seek vengeance.....I don't need a pathetic shell of a man living in a dream world.....I need a man so evil and depraved, that even Satan himself allowed his escape from the depths of hell, because sometimes, even the Devil has limits to his depravities....."</em></p><p> </p><p> Raven tells Al to get to the outside with the rest of the Family.....because there is a reckoning coming, and they need to be prepared.....it looks as though "The Loved One" will have to wait.....</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="psGDxMK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/psGDxMK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="oJqc7jC.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oJqc7jC.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Savio Vega gets a rare appearance on Monday Night Raw tonight, as he looks to go one on one with the Maestro of the Misunderstood, Raven. It's a shame that Savio has been spinning his wheels as of late, because he's a useful hand to have about the place....and he rarely fails to put out a decent performance.....in the end tonight however he was no match for Raven......and the Shepherd of the Flock was able to finish him off with the Evenflow DDT.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Raven</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="oJqc7jC.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oJqc7jC.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Raven rolls Savio to the outside, where the Flock surprisingly stand back and let him leave. He begins his slow walk down the aisle, only to be met at ringside by a wall of Flock members.....Bill DeMott, Doink, Daniels and the Dogs of War. Al Snow has made no effort to join his partners.....but Mankind is front and centre like a shot, blocking the Deadman's path. Raven however tells his followers to move aside and let him pass, making sure to tell Mankind that he <em>"....couldn't stop him before.....Mankind isn't going to stop him now......we both know who COULD stop the Undertaker......but Mankind would rather see me suffer, than release his inner demon.....so move....."</em></p><p> </p><p> The Flock part like the Red Sea....and Mankind reluctantly steps to one side (as a smattering of a Dude Love chant breaks out) leaving the Undertaker free to enter the ring. He walks towards Raven, who is still on his knees....arms outstretched......The Undertaker takes a microphone, declaring that Raven clearly wanted to dance with the devil, well here he is.....so dance. Raven slowly stands to his feet, only now he has a smirk on his face, causing the Undertaker to question <em>".....what's so funny, boy?....."</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> ".......what's funny, is the fact that your ego is such, that you can't even comprehend that you are nothing more than a pawn.....a nonentity so insignificant to the existence of greater men, that you are nothing more than an afterthought......the phenom of the World Wrestling Federation, reduced to a quivering wreck by his baby brother.....the conscience of the WWF, staring into the eyes of one without such an affliction......</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> ......your entire presence is of little consequence to me.....I don't fear the reaper.....nor do I particularly have any desire to face the reaper.....but for this fleeting moment you do serve a purpose.....you're a needs to an end.....the precursor to the punchline.....you will be the conduit through which my ultimate desire will flow......in essence, YOU Deadman.....will bring me what I want.....you will bring me Jack.....or you will destroy me.....so it is written, so it shall come to pass.....a destiny not written by my hand.....nor by yours........but by his......"</em></p><p> </p><p> With that Raven turns and points down to Mankind, saying that for once, neither the Undertaker, nor Raven is in control of their own futures......fate has landed that role in the hand of Mankind.....and HIS choices alone will dictate the path of things to come. The Undertaker however seems uninterested in Raven's ramblings......he's here to fight.......and he snatches the leader of the Flock by the throat. Raven's followers (with the exception of Al Snow) jump onto the apron, but Raven holds up a hand, telling them to stand down <em>"......what happens here happens because of YOU Mankind......and all of the world shall bear witness to your failings....."</em></p><p> </p><p> Which is when Raven is chokeslammed straight to hell as the Flock (again with the exception of Al Snow) look on in horror. The Undertaker picks up a microphone and tells Raven that vengeance is coming for him at In Your House.....and the world will see just who it is that is insignificant.....before dropping the microphone on his chest, then turning and heading to the back, leaving Raven flattened on the mat.......but with a huge smile on his face, causing Jim Ross to remark that <em>"....that's one sick puppy right there folks.....who may have gotten more than he bargained for....because at In Your House, Raven will be going one on one with the Deadman....."</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="Rc3NoDZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Rc3NoDZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="j2Tooev.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/j2Tooev.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="kbzSPDo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kbzSPDo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We are back with Dok Hendrix, who this time is standing by with two men who are both challenging for gold at In Your House.....Scott Steiner will be facing his treacherous brother Rich Steiner, with the Million Dollar Corporation members Intercontinental Championship on the line, while Ahmed Johnson has the opportunity of a lifetime, when he goes one on one with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, for a shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship.</p><p> </p><p> Dok asks both men what they think their chances are going into the event. The roster is terrible, some of the face/heel alignments are horrible.....the Champions are horrible.....the gimmicks are horrible....in fact I don't think a month is long enough to build to a decent Starrcade, because it will take a month just to get people where they should be. I'm in the process of making some signings to try and tidy the roster up a little bit, then I'll try to trim some of the fat from the already incredibly bloated list of wrestlers. I've also edited Randy Savages contract down to a week and renegotiated a new deal, since he was inexplicably contracted to only wrestle on Pay Per View, not TV.....(which is probably why he chose to sign with WCW and not me a few months back).....their scandal from earlier in the year is still hitting them hard as well.....and a number of overseas broadcasting deals are coming to an end, but no one will touch them to renew because of their Toxic Reputation....so yeah.....this should be fun.....oh, and I'm also seriously considering signing journeyman wrestler Jeep Swenson, who wrestled as The Ultimate Solution during the whole "Alliance to end Hulkamania" storyline. Why? Because he's recently played Bane in the Batman Forever movie, and his popularity has soared from E's and F's to solid B's in every area.....not that I think he's worth a damn, but I figure WCW would have been all over that......stuck a mask on him and called him Scourge or Ruin or something equally as stupid....anyway, here's a terrible episode of Monday Nitro.</p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><p> <img alt="oyFIziv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oyFIziv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Sting opens the show up, says the Dungeon of Doom took him out before the World War 3 match, so tonight he wants Sullivan AND a shot at the World Title at Starrcade. The show opens up to the now familiar sight of Vincent K McMahon and the KLiQ standing in the centre of the ring.....the only slight variation on the last two weeks is the fact that Kevin Nash is once again back in the fold......unlike the rest of the group however, who are wearing those sweet black and white shirts, Big Sexy is wearing a Shawn Michaels shirt, while standing separate from the rest of the group, leaning up against the turnbuckles in the corner.

McMahon welcomes us to the show, before saying that while last weeks reunion between Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels didn't exactly go the way he planned.....it did at least happen......

".....so ladies and gentlemen, I give you.....your heros.....the number one merchandise sellers in the WWF.....and the reason you're all here tonight........The KLiQ......."

Shawn Michaels stands glaring at Kevin Nash for a moment, before whispering something in Vince's ear.....

".......let me rephrase that......Ladies and Gentlemen......I give you......the reason for the ratings......Shawn Michaels......and The KLiQ......"

Michaels smirks at Nash, before taking the microphone off Vince. He begins by first of all telling Kevin how nice it is to see him back......

"......and that's a great shirt you're wearing there.....it really suits you.....and I just want to say, no hard feelings buddy.....I know things got a little bit strained between us recently.....but when you're as close as us, that's bound to happen.......oh......and I've even got you a gift......since I know what a "Bad Ass" you are......and how much you like to fight.......I've got you a match tonight......in fact it's gonna happen right now.......when Big Daddy Cool, Big Sexy Kevin Nash......goes one on one with old mumblemouth himself, Ahmed Johnson......"

Nash smiles and asks Shawn if he means his In Your House World Title opponent Ahmed Johnson? Shawn pauses for a moment, before channeling his inner "Home Alone" and placing both hands on his face in shock, telling Nash that it never occurred to him, but yes.....what a coincidence.....that very same Ahmed Johnson.

Big Sexy has the same fake smile plastered across his face that the Heartbreak Kid has, telling Shawn that as long as Vince McMahon there keeps paying the big bucks, Kevin Nash has no problem kicking anyone's ass.......before staring Shawn in the eye, repeating "...anyone...."

".....ok then......glad we got that cleared up......and since I was kinda.......'indisposed' last week......how about that handshake.....pal?....."

Nash smiles and opens his arms wide, telling Shawn that he can do one better than that......

".....come here buddy....."

.....before wrapping his arms around Michaels in a big bear hug.....that was a little too tight and a little too long not to awkward......before letting go and ruffling the champs hair.

Vince McMahon finally breaks the tension, announcing that due to the Million Dollar Intercontinental Champion Rich Steiner abandoning the match last week.....and leaving the WWF Champion Shawn Michaels alone and possibly risking serious injury.....The Heartbreak Kid will have the opportunity to extract his revenge tonight......when it's Champion vs Champion.....non-title obviously......as Shawn Michaels faces Rich Steiner.......and since Shawn is THE main event.....it will be IN the main event......and since Ted DiBiase's men obviously can't conduct their business in a professional manner, it won't just be Steiner that suffers.......because Jeff Jarrett will be facing Psycho Sid at In Your House......because Vince McMahon always gets what he wants......

......but that's not all......because to ensure that we don't have any rude interruptions like last week.......McMahon has also hired extra security to keep Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Loose Cannon Brian Pillman OUT of the building......so Ahmed Johnson, get your ass out here so we can get this show started.

Ahmed Johnson has got the opportunity of a lifetime coming up in two weeks at In Your House......the last Pay Per View of the year and it could be the last Pay Per View of Shawn Michaels WWF Championship reign.....because if anyone can take that title from around his waist, it's the big man from Pearl River, Mississippi. Jim Ross channels his inner Tony Sciavone, claiming on commentary that this is possibly the biggest opening contest that we have witnessed here on Monday Night Raw.....it's not......but I appreciate the effort Jim.

Clearly realising that he is severely outnumbered here (since Shawn Michaels and Scott Hall have opted to remain at ringside) Ahmed has bought lumber out with him......big lumber......which he swings threateningly at HBK and The Bad Guy, warning them to keep out of his way. Nash may be back on the black and white express.....but the crowd still seem to like him, because both he and Ahmed get a good reception throughout this one.

The match tended to drift a little bit, because let's face it, it's Ahmed Johnson and Kevin Nash.....two hugely popular stars known for their power, not their technical prowess. We did see plenty of power too.....not many men can toss Ahmed Johnson around like Kevin Nash did.....and likewise, you don't see Nash lifted off his feet very often.....but there's obviously a bonus per bump ratio in that new contract, because Nash even takes a suplex in this one....in the end however, this was never going to go off without a hitch......

bN15JFv.jpg

.......because as Ahmed goes for the seemingly impossible, hooking Nash into position for the Pearl River Plunge......Shawn Michaels comes bounding across the ring and almost takes his head off with some Sweet Chin Music.......right in front of the official.....who has no choice but to call for the bell.

Winner: Ahmed Johnson (via Disqualification)

Rating: B

bN15JFv.jpg7M1mABh.jpgtsQXS32.jpg

Nash does not look happy about that result......and shouts at Michaels, asking him what he thinks he's doing.....but Michaels patronisingly pats the big man on the back.....telling him that he's just looking out for his buddy.......so why don't you return the favour......and stick this idiot with a Jacknife for your old pal HBK. Big Sexy still isn't happy, telling Shawn that he had this.....he didn't need his 'help'.......but reluctantly he picks up Ahmed anyway, signalling for the Powerbomb......

9iWOj1g.jpg5xwXg1I.jpg

......which is when we have the surprise arrival of the Sons of Samoa.....as Rikishi and the massive Kokina make their way down the aisle....

.....the two Islanders have got a date with the WWF Tag Team Champions, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at In Your House.....but it looks like they want to get up close and personal with their opponents early as they storm the ring, breaking up the attack before it begins and giving Ahmed the opportunity to grab a hold of his wood, which he swings wildly around the ring as Hall, Nash and Michaels scatter.....giving us all in all a pretty wild opening to tonight's show as we go to commercial.

It's time for the Light Heavyweights....and a relative newcomer to the division....at least here on Monday Night Raw anyway....because young Billy Kidman has been plying his trade on Superstars for a few months now.....but it's prime time tonight and his chance to make an impression.

His high flying moves certainly do that, as he faces off against the more grounded offence of Brian Christopher.....and he very nearly picks up an upset victory over the surprisingly well seasoned young veteran....(there's an oxymoron for you).....but in the end it's Christopher who picks up the victory, after hitting a full Nelson facebuster for the three count.

Winner: Brian Christopher

To the back we go, where Dok Hendrix is standing by with the Nation of Domination, ahead of their upcoming clash with the team of Jeff Hardy and Road Warrior Hawk. Dok asks Faarooq how he feels about this upcoming match, but Faarooq has got other things on his mind.....he asks Hendrix, what's he got to do? What's he got to do to get a fair shot around here? He says that the Sons of Samoa.....who the Nation BEAT at Survivor Series.....are suddenly getting a shot at the Tag Team Titles......a brother FINALLY gets a shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship.....and they pick the only brother they know will lose, NOT Faarooq, because Faarooq would win and that would spoil their plans.....and as for tonight.....tonight the Nation aren't even facing a real team.....just some hybrid mismatch of two other low rent teams.....and this is exactly the problem with the WWF.....Scott Steiner wasn't seen for months......he goes out, bleaches his hair.....and becomes the little blonde haired white boy......and the Sucka gets an Intercontinental Title Shot......where's Faarooq's shot......where's the Nations shot?

The Rock is up next, telling Hendrix that ".....I don't care how you say it....I don't care which way you look at it.....there's a conspiracy within the World Wrestling Federation, to keep the Nation of Domination down, and The Rock says it stops NOW......see The Rock is the hottest young superstar this business has ever seen.....young, devastatingly handsome....charisma out the caboose.....and it doesn't matter what any other jabroni in any wrestling company in the world wants to call himself, because the Rock is without a doubt the complete and total package....."

Rock says that he and Faarooq are going to deal with Hawk and Jeff, the super friends, tonight....and then one way or another, The Nation of Domination are going to start to get some respect around here.....by any means necessary.

It's tag team action now.....and we have two teams here that are BOTH teaming up for the first time....because while Hawk and Jeff Hardy have been on the same side in numerous eight Man matches, they have always had their partners in the corner too for that comfort blanket.....not to mention the fact that these two men will be on OPPOSITE teams in two weeks time at In Your House, when the Hardy Boys look to graduate from the Road Warrior School of Very Hard Knocks, when they face the Legion of Doom.

It's the first time teaming up for Faarooq and The Rock too, although these two at least have the same goal ultimately....to bring respect.....and gold.....to the Nation of Domination....and with Ahmed Johnson and The Sons of Samoa challenging for Championships at In Your House, Rick Rude points out that the Nation may just have a point, because it does appear as though they are being deliberately pushed aside when it comes to handing out title shots.

As for the match, it was decent enough.....chaotic (what with Animal, Matt Hardy, Kama, Nelson and Scorpio all being at ringside).....but decent none the less....but in the end it was miscommunication that brought about the finish.....because on the urging of Hawk, Jeff Hardy (who's not exactly known for his feats of strength) rather unsteadily hoisted The Rock up on his shoulders for what looked to be a Doomsday Device attempt.....but Kama reached into the ring to grab the ankle of Hardy just as Hawk flew.....Hardy lost his footing and his balance, dropping the Rock, as Hawk crashed into nothing but canvas......and one Rock Bottom later, the Nation pick up the victory, before heading to the back in celebration, while the Hardys and The Legion of Doom have a disagreement in the ring about who was to blame for the loss.

Winner(s): The Nation of Domination

It's promo time again.....and the crowd explodes as the screeching guitar signals the arrival of the Hart Foundation making their way down the aisle. The trio climb into the ring, and for the Hitman and Owen, it's the first time we have seen them since they were arguably screwed out of any future Championship opportunities against the KLiQ back at the Survivor Series.....and by the owner of the company Vince McMahon none the less. Bret takes a microphone and it seems that he wants to address exactly that. He says that he's had a lot of great moments in his career.....signing with the WWF back in late 1984.....winning the WWF Tag Team Titles (twice) with Jim Neidhart.....winning his first Intercontinental Championship against Mr. Perfect.....and his second against the great Rowdy Roddy Piper at Wrestlemania VIII.....winning the King of the Ring tournament.....but they all paled in comparison to the day he defeated Ric Flair for his very first World Wrestling Federation Championship.....

.....he says that all his life he has strived to be the very best......the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.....but to BE the best, you have to be able to wear the Championship that says you're the best....be that the best singles wrestler.....OR the best Tag Team wrestler.....and Bret says that thanks to the man that bought him to the WWF.....thanks to the man that he thought of as a father figure.....a friend.....thanks to Vince McMahon.....as long as the KLiQ holds the top two titles in professional wrestling, he can never do that again.....Bret says he feels like he got screwed.....screwed by the KLiQ.....and screwed by the owner of the WWF, Vincent Kennedy McMahon......

......and while the KLiQ could lose those titles any day.....they could also NOT lose them....he says there's a long list of great wrestlers that have tried and failed to wrench that World Title away from Shawn Michaels.....himself included......and while Owen is young enough and happy enough to still be able to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship......it's World or nothing for The Hitman......and if he can't compete for the WWF Title and be the best singles wrestler......if he can't compete for the WWF Tag Titles with his brother and be the best Tag Team wrestler...........well then, he really doesn't know if he has any future left here in the World Wrestling Federation.....

He says he gave twelve years of his life to the WWF to prove he's the best....and he's at a stage in his career where he doesn't have time to wait around for the KLiQ to lose.....only to no doubt have Vince McMahon screw him again.....so for now.....while he wishes Owen and Davey all the luck in the world......for now.........he's going home.

After that blockbuster announcement it's back to the action.....and a match that has come about following the events of last week, where Chris Candido threw the towel in for young Rey Mysterio in his match against the Big Red Monster Kane.....and apparently Kane didn't take too kindly to his fun being prematurely ended last week.....and tonight he is going to take that frustration out on Mysterio's In Your House Light Heavyweight Title Challenger....Chris Candido.....

....and to be honest, this match goes much the same way last weeks match went.....with Candido being completely outmatched by the Monster. Candido has had good success in recent weeks against the likes of the KLiQ.....even ridding the WWF of Hunter Hearst Helmsley.....but Kane is a very different kettle of fish.....and he gives Candido the biggest beating of his career.....

bPirxUr.jpg

.......so much so, that in a mirror image of last week, Rey Mysterio comes running down the aisle, where he tosses a towel in the ring in an effort to put Candido out of his misery.....and again, even though Rey has no capacity to stop the match....the referee concedes that Candido has suffered enough, and calls this one off....and for two weeks in a row, both Champion and Challenger have now saved the other from certain injury ahead of their Title match at In Your House.

Winner: Kane (by stoppage)

It's that time again folks......time for Sherlock Snow to crack open the casebook....as he makes his way down the aisle and into the ring (still in full Deerstalker and Pipe get up....along with Doctor Head) where he tells the crowd that he's sure they're wondering why he gathered them all here today......well it's time for the final instalment of "The Loved One".....and while it's been wonderful coming out here week after week.....and even though Head never shuts up....it is becoming rather lonely.....

".....so Mankind.....why don't you join the party....because I'm sure you're going to want to see this......"

P4qW3WS.jpg

.....and the deranged one does indeed come out......to a definite chant of "Dude Love" from the crowd, before climbing into the ring with Sherlock Snow. Snow asks him if he heard the people just then.......they don't want "Jack".....they don't want Mankind to have to suffer for others anymore.......he points to the video screen, before telling Mankind.....

".....they want the Dude....."

The screen flickers to life, and in that same grainy home movie we see The Masked Debater.....but now he's sporting a new look....he wears his torn and tattered pajama top proudly, sports a new pair of sunglasses, long hair wrapped in a bandanna, and a goatee....coming out with the Grand Lizard, where he cuts basically the first promo of his life. He announces that he is going to rise to the top....the tippy top....and win the ultimate prize, the World Wrestling Federation title.

And so we are treated to snippets of "Matches".....categorising the Dudes rise through the rankings, (along with shots of magazines with Micks face glued to the covers) until it's finally time for his big title match against the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Ishmala. Dude Love finally does it....he defeats Ishmala and if finally crowned the WWF Champion.....but that's not where the story ends....no, no, no.....

Because next the Dude has to defend that title.....and his challenger....is Big Dick Zuck.....and after a long match, the Dude sets Zuck up on top of a mattress....and climbs to the roof of the nearby house.......before striking a Superfly Jimmy Snuka pose......and leaping for the big finish.........except Big Dick moves out of the way....and the Dude lands hard. With no one home, the Dude is stunned, which gives Big Dick the chance to apply his finishing maneuver, the dreaded Sodomizer......and a humiliated Dude Love runs off, never to be seen again.

The screen fades out and both Sherlock Snow and Mankind have a smile on their face....Snow tells Mankind that he could see the joy in that young man's eyes.....the passion.....the desire....the 'Real' Mick Foley.....before the Raven's of the world ground him down.....he tells Mankind that he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone.....other than himself......

"......but you know....there's one thing that bothered me about the Dude's story.......there was no closure......The Dude lost, sure.....but everyone loses......it's all about the comeback......it's all about the rematch.......it's time......for the Dude to come out of hiding......and regain that WWF Championship......."

....and much like Raven has in recent weeks, Snow pulls out a shirt that he had kept tucked under his outfit.......but it's not the one Raven wants him to wear.....this is a colourful tie-dye shirt.....which Mankind hesitatingly accepts, staring down at it as the crowd chant for 'Dude Love'........

oJqc7jC.jpgNqqfCgY.jpgvRMhRGa.jpgtMF90pK.jpgGDTWVB2.jpg0VN77xg.jpg

.....which is when Raven comes marching down to the ring......snatching the shirt from Mankinds hand, before backhanding Al Snow right across the face, telling him that he thought he had made himself clear.....this stops NOW. HE turns back to Mankind, who is looking down at the tie-dye shirt with a smile on his face.......and slaps the taste out of his mouth too, declaiming that.....

".....you stand there smiling.....reminiscing about your wasted youth.....while a demon stalks my soul? I've given you everything you ever wanted Mick......a home......a family.......acceptance.....a sense of belonging......and this is how you repay me? I've given my body to save yours......I've given you everything......and what do I get in return? What about me.......WHAT ABOUT RAVEN?......

......the devil himself wants to dance on my grave.....but instead of giving me Jack, you're out here with him (pointing at Snow) and contemplating this? (holding up the tie-dye shirt) maybe you don't fully comprehend the seriousness of this situation......or maybe I need to increase the intensity......because everything that happens from here on out.....are because of YOU.....Quote the Raven......Nevermore....."

The Undertaker is out....and looking for a fight......which is probably why he has left Paul Bearer in the back, considering their are eight Flock members at ringside.....and if it's a fight he wants, it's a fight he's going to get.....as Raven hand picks Bill DeMott as the sacrificial lamb....and sacrificial lamb he was......because while DeMott is a big man, and does manage to garner some offence against the Deadman.....he's no match for a Deadman on a Mission.....and eventually gets out away with the Tombstone Piledriver.

The bell rings and instantly orders the Flock into the ring....apart from Snow and Mankind who are forced to watch the carnage unfold. Doink, Daniels and the Dogs of War pounce on the Undertaker.....who is briefly overwhelmed......but as we said earlier, this is a Deadman on a Mission....and slowly but surely he begins to fight off his attackers.....hitting both Doink and Daniels with a chokeslam, before clotheslining Wrath and Crush over the top rope and to the outside.......before turning around.......straight into a brutal steel chair shot from Raven.

The Undertaker drops to the mat and Raven lays into him with a series of shots across the back with the Cold metal.....then tosses it to the mat, dropping to his knees beside the Deadman, muttering "......make me feel your pain......" over and over at his In Your House opponent......before dragging the Undertaker to his feet by the hair.......and driving him skull first into the steel chair with the Evenflow DDT. He kneels over the chest of the Deadman with his arms outstretched, until Daniels hands him a microphone.....

".......bring me the reckoning Undertaker......bring me Jack.....bring me your fury......prices need to be paid for indiscretions.....but what cost will it have on your soul.....Quote the Raven, Nevermore......"

We head to the back where Dok Hendrix is standing by with Ted DiBiase and his Million Dollar Corporation.....Dok asks Deebs how he feels about Vince McMahons announcement.....first that Rich Steiner will be facing Shawn Michaels next......and secondly that as punishment for Steiners behaviour last week, at In Your House, Jeff Jarrett will be squaring off against Psycho Sid.....

".....Punishment? You think that's punishment little man? The way we see it, Rich Steiner taking out Shawn Michaels tonight just puts him next in line for a World Title shot......and as for Psycho Sid.....Jeff Jarrett has been embarrassing that big lumbering idiot for weeks now, do you really think that In Your House is going to be any different?

Jeff Jarrett is going to show the world that Sid is nothing more than a big man with no substance......and Rich Steiner here......he's going to show everybody, who the true Alpha Dog in the Steiner Brothers is....."

Steiner and Jarrett both reiterate DiBiase's statement.....claiming that In Your House will be a clean sweep for the Million Dollar Corporation, before the group leave, because it's main event time next.

It's time for the main event of the evening.....Champion vs Champion.....Shawn Michaels vs Rich Steiner.....although it's a somewhat odd combination of opponents.....because neither man is particularly well liked by the crowd.....although these two do have somewhat of an unresolved history.....because when Scott Steiner was challenging for the WWF Championship back in June/July time, it was Rich Steiner that took the brunt of the punishment, as the KLiQ looked to make an example of the elder Steiner.

Because of the heel/heel combination.....and because of the fact that neither man is going to work as the baby face in peril here, it's a pretty even back and forth match up....Michaels might be the World Champion, but Rich proves here that Scott isn't the only Steiner that can throw the Champ about.....although the whole match grinds to a halt as the video screen flickers to life......

LjBLTcA.jpgSC2jCnQ.jpg

......and we see Stone Cold Steve Austin and Brian Pillman somewhere in the arena, stepping over a pile of unconscious security guards.....they notice the camera and Austin informs the viewers that......

".....all the security guards in the world ain't gonna do squat if we want to get in the building son.....and I can tell you this......I ain't no Bret Hart, and neither is Brian Pillman......and we ain't gonna take out ball and go home just because Shawn Michaels is the WWF Champion.....the way I see it, we got two outcomes here......either Shawn Michaels picks himself up a little injury and has to give up the belt.......or maybe someone goes out of their way to make sure that the Boy Toy loses that title.....to say.....Ahmed Johnson? And whichever way you look at it, one way or another, Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to be the World Champion, and that's the bottom line......now get that camera out of my face before I whip your ass too....."

And with that the pair push past the cameraman and continue their walk into the building.....presumably heading for the ring. Back out at Ringside, Vince McMahon has made is way out with a worried look on his face and the rest of the KLiQ and a sea of security guards in tow......meanwhile in the ring, Rich Steiner has decided enough is enough......and he collects his title from the timekeeper before heading up the aisle......he's outta here.

Vince organised a line of defence at the bottom of the ramp way, Michaels is stood safely in the ring while Nash, Hall, Waltman and Credible stand on the floor.....with a number of security guards behind them.....watching Rich Steiner and Ted DiBiase exit up the aisle......suddenly a figure comes running out from the back......with a steel pipe in hand......

j2Tooev.jpghzDZTVJ.jpg

......as Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, nails brother Rich in the back of the head.....Scott bends over and picks up his brothers dropped Intercontinental Championship, draping it over his over his massive shoulder.....before pointing the steel pipe squarely at Shawn Michaels. McMahon orders his minions to get Steiner out of there, while the KLiQ hold the line......but one by one the poor security guards get nailed with the metal pipe....until there's no one left but Steiner and the KLiQ.......

LjBLTcA.jpgSC2jCnQ.jpg

......which is when Steve Austin and Brian Pillman hop the rail behind all the action.....Pillman picks up a steel chair and then slides into the ring, where Austin is already waiting to spin Michaels around and drops him flat in the middle of the mat with the Stone Cold Stunner, then dropping down on top of him to talk trash right in his unconscious face.

The KLiQ turn to stop the assault in the ring, but Pillman quickly places Shawn Michaels ankle inside the folding chair.....threatening to break the World Champions leg unless they back off.....as Stone Cold picks up a microphone.....

"......now then, seems to me like we've got a little bit of a Mexican stand off......everybody knows that Stone Cold Steve Austin is a real man.....and he ain't gonna take his ball and go home like the so called Hitman, Bret Hart.....you say I can't have another shot at that World Title as long as Shawn Michaels has it around his scrawny little waist......I say, if we snap his damn ankle like a twig, he ain't gonna be in any condition to be the Champion......so it goes like this......I'm a fair man.....a reasonable man......I'm an agreeable fella.......so how about this......there's a little Pay Per View coming up called the Royal Rumble......and since I've never asked for a damn thing my whole life.....and I've earned everything I've got the hard way......how-about you put me and Brian in the Royal Rumble match......"

Vince starts yelling no, that's not happening, but Austin talks right over him.....telling him either he puts him and Pillman in the match, or the Sexy Boy here gets a broken ankle......and by the looks of it Scott Steiner is going to break some more bones with that lead pipe down there. Michaels eventually screams at Vince to just give them the damn match, clearly he doesn't want a broken ankle......and eventually the owner of the WWF accepts the demands and the show comes to a close on a very tense scene.

The biggest news to come out of Monday Night Raw, was the enormous rating we got.....a definite record breaker for us, and at a 19.71 it was almost a full point up on last week......I'm just sorry we didn't present a better show for those additional viewers.....I knew that the segments were going to be what carried the show this week, I just didn't except them to do so well......Raven for example has really shone when he's been out there on the microphone....he was a good talker when we signed him, but he's really progressed in a short length of time and he and the Undertaker have shone in all their segments together.

For their first time teaming together Faarooq and The Rock had excellent chemistry in their against Hawk and Jeff Hardy, The Rock is really relishing his new heel persona, and Jerry Lawlers tutelage is certainly a benefit to him.

We had a number of Pay Rise requests this week, the biggest of which came from Kane, who wanted a $20,000 a month rise.....to be fair he's still on Jobber to the Stars Issac Yankem's contract, but he's really stepped up his game, and where Issac was a midcarder at best, Kane has already broken into the main event......even so I still only paid him 75% of what he wanted, he was happy with that though.

WCW made a number of signings this week....it looks as though they are trying to bolster their Tag Team division, which currently consists of such strange combinations as Dave Finlay and Rocco Rock......and the current Champions, Marcus Bagwell and Headshrinker Samu......in fact their only real team was Harlem Heat.....this week however they have signed The Amazing French Canadians, the former Beverly Brothers Mike Enos and Wayne Bloom as well as a team from ECW called The Pit Bulls. They also signed a decent looking prospect in Mike Awesome, who's been competing in Japan as The Gladiator. Mike is a big lad with decent ring skills.....although he's also related to the Hulkster, so that might have had something to do with the signing too.

Outside of the US, New Japan Pro Wrestling have made Masahiro Chono the figurehead of the company, its a good choice to be fair, Chono is the back bone of that promotion.
