JULY 2018, WEEK 1…

Show Rating: 91

Announce Team:

EilZ96F.jpglNhSZHh.jpgoRDumP8.jpg

Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and Adrian Garcia

Creating A Balance

Gino Montero and Steve DeColt headed to the ring to open the show... The co-Captains of their Maple Leaf Mayhem Team had a lot to say...

l0sySFw.jpgV5vE6UN.jpg

They began by claiming that their team will go down in history as the greatest group ever assembled, due to the balance they're creating...

Steve DeColt:
“We'll be looking to the FUTURE of this industry to assemble our team... We could easily just name the top guys in the company, like Tom Gilmore... My brother Ricky (DeColt), and others... But Gilmore has his own stuff to deal with... and Ricky is off being a movie star... So we're looking at things differently...”

Gino Montero took over, explaining that there's a group of young future stars they're looking at, but they're looking for some specific skills

Gino Montero:
“We wan' a big, strong, WARRIOR... Someone like Donte Dunn or Akima Brave... We'll also be takin' a high-flier... Maybe Sonny Wildside, or Jacob Jett... Then there's tha fifth spot... We'll be takin' someone young, an' hungry... Someone who can PROVE to us, tha' he is going to give EVERYTHING for the team...”

An excellent list of names from Gino... And interestingly enough, Jett, Donte and Akima will be competing in tonight's Main Event!!

2TNlbwI.pngleDkV1c.jpg

James Hernandez interrupted proceedings from the stage, and he was joined by HIS co-Captain Aaron Andrews...

James Hernandez:
“Oh you guys are too cute... A warrior... A high-flier... and a young, hungry, loyal competitor... I already have all THREE of those things... In one man... 'The Ace'... Aaron Andrews...!! But my next two picks ALSO tick all of those boxes...”

9XrCfvO.jpgn0PoAP9.pngodmO5rb.jpg

Luis Montero Jr., Spencer Spade and their manager Faith joined Hernandez and Ace on the stage... They raised each other's hands!!

Steve and Gino need to get naming members of their team... because currently, they're down 4 members to 2...

Team Hernandez could have gone down to the ring and attacked them there and then!!

'The Stud' Christian Price w/ Cameron Vessey [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook

Another excellent outing as the feud between Primed For Progress and Iron and Stone continues to heat up. They will fight at Jeopardy, for Price and Vessey's Tag Team Titles, but tonight, Edd was able to get a leg up and some much needed momentum. For the finish, after Tim Westybrook distracted Price by kicking Vessey in the face, Edd flew off the top rope to deliver his 'Party's Over' finisher!

Winner:
'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook

Finish:
'Party's Over' Elbow Drop

Being Stoned

w8wuoFL.pngr1PZOnn.pngxlks26a.jpgRlWmWUy.jpg

Edd Stone took a microphone after the match, and stood alongside his 'Enforcer' Tim Westybrook...

Edd Stone:
“You've all heard the rumours, and they are TRUE... Being Stoned begins filming next week... But what is FALSE, is that I'll be taking time off... I'm not Ricky DeColt... I can film a documentary AND remain a regular member of the NOTBPW roster... In fact... When filming starts, I will be NOTBPW Tag Team Champion again!!”

Price and Vessey shouted that Edd would have to go through them first, and he didn't seem bothered by that one bit!!

All We Need Is Love And Beer

ciPrSJU.jpg7lmD5aZ.jpg

A camera man entered a dusty looking bar, and slowly walked past a few groups of people... Then panned round to reveal a man was sat on a bar stool...

That man, was 'The Silent Threat' John Maverick, and he was nursing a bottle of beer... When in walked Dan DaLay...

Dan DaLay:
“Alright Mav... I made it... Now get me a beer and tell me why the heck you wanted me to drag my sorry ass here...!!”

Maverick took another sip of his beer, and then smiled at his friend... Telling him he doesn't have many 'rides' left...

John Maverick:
“And I think my last pay-per-view match should be alongside my old buddy Dan DaLay... 'The Elite' ride one more time... Against your punk Son Robin, and your punk Nephew Logan...!!”

DaLay liked what he was hearing, and agreed to the match... At Jeopardy!!

HdzHSKl.jpg

Peter Michaels:
“Gentlemen, our next match will see Hotstuff in action once again... and they were DUE to take on POISON and Prometheus...!!”

Adrian Garcia:
“Yes but on social media this week, POISON has decided to pick Aldous Blackfriar to be his partner?!”

Tom Townsend:
“It's a strange one Garcia... We know Aldous doesn't have Mutant around him right now due to injury, so he really doesn't have much choice but to carry POISON's bags, and do what he says!! But surely he won't be as effective a partner as Prometheus!!”

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] POISON & Aldous Blackfriar w/ Prometheus

A great outing for these four workhorses, as Hotstuff continue to impress in NOTBPW. As the announce team predicted, Aldous Blackfriar wasn't as effective as Prometheus would have been. He looked like he didn't even want to be there, and he failed to break up the pin after Buff Martinez hit his 'El K.O' finisher on POISON to score the win!

Winners:
Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez)

Finish:
'El K.O' (Roundhouse Kick)

The Blame Game

6zDwFxG.jpgz59xWMv.jpg8S5PcmJ.jpg

After their defeat, Prometheus was furious with Aldous Blackfriar... and grabbed the much smaller man by his hair!!

Aldous fought his God-like attacker off, and managed to create enough separation to hit a super kick on the big man!!

Prometheus didn't go down, but he was rocked... But then POISON managed to regroup and slam into Aldous!!

He ordered Prometheus to hit his 'God Chop' finisher, and knock Aldous down... and then 'The Riddler' grabbed a microphone...

POISON:
“Yu know what Aldous... We took you in when Mutant got hurt... and treated you like a SON!! And then you do this to us, in a big match on television... So at Jeopardy... Aldous, you will go 1 on 1 with Prometheus!!”

Supreme Revenge

l0sySFw.jpgV5vE6UN.jpgxfnzBKE.jpg

Backstage, Gino Montero and Steve DeColt were talking, when up walked former All Action Champion KC Glenn!!

KC Glenn:
“You want young, hungry, fighters to join your cause at Jeopardy...?! Then look no further... I want some revenge on Spencer Spade and the rest of those guys... If you don't pick me, I'll just beat whoever you DO pick!!”

DeColt seemed to like Glenn's spunky confidence... He looked to Gino for his approval, and the Mexican said yes!! KC Glenn was IN!!

The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf & Marv Statler) [vs] The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson)

Trent Shaffer and Wade Orson are very easy to hate. They break the rules at every opportunity, using distractions to allow double teaming and downright cheating! The Ring Generals don't need all of that nonsense. Their in-ring skills are enough to get them through most situations. But tonight, Shaffer and Orson's antics were too much for them! Ernest Youngman stomped to the ring late on, but Shaffer and Orson used it to their advantage again. Orson hit Dean Waldorf with his 'Bounce Back' finisher to win the match!

76

Winners:
The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson)

Finish:
'Bounce Back' (Kip Up DDT)

</div>

Peter Michaels:
“Gentlemen, a big win for Orson and Shaffer there!”

Adrian Garcia:
“They've been in good form lately Michaels... Big wins over Akima Brave and Donte Dunn, and now the Ring Generals!!”

Tom Townsend:
“But at Jeopardy, they'll be facing an altogether different challenge... Jay B and Buff Martinez: Hotstuff!!”

Peter Michaels:
“So many teams are trying to jostle for position and gain momentum in the tag team division... Whoever wins that match, will do just that!! Primed For Progress have got to be looking over their shoulders...!!”

Tom Townsend:
“That's IF they get past Iron and Stone Michaels!!”

Smiles For Miles

Qjp1NDY.jpgywVP5bX.jpg

Backstage, 'friends' Donte Dunn and Akima Brave were preparing for their Main Event tag team match tonight...

Akima Brave:
“So tonight we fight World's Most Wanted... They're not a real tag team anymore... But neither are WE!! I'm aiming to be picked as the WARRIOR Steve DeColt and Gino Montero are looking for... I've been waiting for this opportunity for YEARS!! If you show me up out there, I will wipe that smile, off your face!!”

Dunn smiled back at Brave, and said he too wanted the opportunity to join Team Steve and Gino!!

Tonight, against Jacob Jett and Seeker, Dunn will show THEM up... And give them “some o' dem Sunny Daze”!!

'Country Strong' KC Glenn [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King

A fairly short match, in which both men got their greatest hits in. Lord James King controlled the pace, slowing things down in the middle section, using a brutal looking side headlock. But Glenn was able to create separation. He hit a cross body, and a springboard flying elbow, before putting King away with his 'Tune Up The Sunshine Band'!

69

Winner:
'Country Strong' KC Glenn

Finish:
'Tune Up The Sunshine Band' (Brogue Kick)

High Flyers

P2ikNu0.pngAZ1ShU1.jpg

Jacob Jett and Sonny Wildside bumped into one another backstage next... Two high flyers who had heard Steve DeColt and Gino Montero's comments...

Sonny Wildside:
“Hey Jett... Just so you know... Just because you're in the Main Event tonight, doesn't mean Steve and Gino will pick you, over me!!”

Sonny stood confidently with his head tilted back slightly... Showing 'No Fear', and looking down his nose at Jett!!

Jacob Jett:
“Thing is though Sonny... Steve and Gino will want to WIN at Jeopardy... So I think they'll take a pretty serious look at me tonight... But hey... If you want the chance to put your money where your big, mouth is... Why don't we go 1 on 1 next week?!”

Jett outstretched a hand... and Wildside shook it... The match was made, Jett vs Wildside next week in a Dream Match!!

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC Connection

There was only ever going to be one winner in this match, but Sayeed Ali didn't exactly have his head in the game here. 'The Notorious' striker clearly wants his NOTBPW TV Title back, and it almost allowed Solomon Gold a way back into it. The youngster is hard to handle, due to his long limbs. But a huge uppercut when Ali got in close was enough to take Gold down. In the end, he won it with the 'GBH Driver'.

Winner:
'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC Connection

Finish:
'GBH Driver' (Double Arm DDT)

Fight In The Streets

In his office, NOTBPW Match Maker Dark Angel had 'Angry' Tom Gilmore... Speaking about Jack DeColt's actions last week...

Dark Angel:
“He broke into your home... He broke into your garage... He wrecked your personal belongings, and stole from you... all on camera...? And you're sure you don't want to press charges...?!”

Gilmore said he could think of about a thousand better ways to proceed, and one of them, was what he asked Angel for next...

Tom Gilmore:
“I want to punish him... In the only way I know how... I want to FIGHT him... With NO rules... NO disqualifications... Falls count anywhere... I want Jack DeColt, in a STREET FIGHT!!”

Angel booked the match, for Jeopardy!! A re-match from Mid Summer Madness!! This time, a Street Fight!!

Next week, we'll get a contract signing... and an agreement that NOTBPW and Dark Angel will not be liable for any injury that may be caused!!

Akima Brave & Donte Dunn [vs] Jacob Jett & Seeker

Two teams that don't get along with each other did battle here, but Jacob Jett and Seeker have a lot of experience as a duo. Akima Brave and Donte Dunn have teamed together a few times recently, with varying success, but Brave has never once looked like wanting to work with the always happy Dunn. For the end of this match, Brave decided he didn't want any part of the match, and walked out of it, throwing his hands up in the air dismissively. Dunn's smile turned to a look of shock, but he was even more shocked when Seeker kicked him in the side of the head from the apron! Jacob Jett admonished Seeker for his actions, but Seeker too threw his hands into the air, and walked off!! This left the two fan favourites Dunn and Jett to fight it out 1 on 1, but it wasn't much of a fight. Dunn had been in the ring a long time, and he soon fell victim to the 'Emergency Landing'.

91

Winners:
Jacob Jett & Seeker

Finish:
'Emergency Landing' (450 Splash)

</div>

Peter Michaels:
“Well there we have it gentlemen... A big win for the team formerly known as World's Most Wanted!!”

Adrian Garcia:
“They had it easy in the end though Michaels... Donte Dunn spent over 90% of the match in the ring, and then got kicked right in the side of the head by Seeker before Jacob Jett put him away!!”

Tom Townsend:
“I agree... Akima Brave walking out on Dunn won't have done his chances of landing a spot on Team DeColt/Montero any good... But Dunn's bravery will have helped his cause!!”

Peter Michaels:
“All that's left to say now folks is stay safe, and we'll see you next week... Where Steve DeColt and Gino Montero... and James Hernandez... will complete their Maple Leaf Mayhem teams!!”

Tommy Cornell defeated Joss Thompson in a 99 rated lower card match at USPW's Independence Day episode of their weekly television show... Fantastic work from both former 21CW employees!! Not to be outdone, Remo beat Sean McFly in a 100 rated Main Event from the Independence Day Slam pay-per-view!! PGHW answered USPW's two incredible matches by having Seiji Jimbo go over Kozue Kawashima in a 99 rated match at their recent Wasteland Tour show!! Federique Antonio Garcia also beat Sammy Bach in a 99 rated Main Event on SWF TV this week... How will NOTBPW respond to all these amazing ratings next week?!

USPW were in the news again later in the week, as they announced the signing of Joanne Rodriguez!! The 39 year old comes to the company with 100 Star Quality

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali

Ali is going to lay a whooping on Gold. As an aside, Ross Henry was not on the roster pushes above. He isn't gone, right?

Ross Henry is GONE!! I'm sure I mentioned this previously... But his contract was up, and Alex DeColt's new company came in for him. Since he put on weight when I asked him to go up in size and his Star Q crashed and burned! Never mind.

<em>Wildside has struggled to find a role since losing the television title, whereas Jett has proved he can be a true singles star with the match ratings he's been pumping out.</em></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez)</strong> [vs] The Sons Of Anarchy (Logan DeColt & Robin DaLay)</p><p>

<em>Hotstuff have arrived with lots of pomp and cermony, so need some wins to establish themselves as major players.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Primed For Progress & Donte Dunn [vs] <strong>Iron And Stone & Akima Brave</strong></p><p>

<em>Dunn to take the fall, but Iron and Stone need some momentum going into their title match as they've jobbed out pretty much this whole feud.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] <strong>'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust</strong></p><p>

<em>Faust is a great gatekeeper to your Main Event, whereas Gold is yet to find his spot.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Assassin' Ernest Youngman [vs] <strong>'Awesome' Wade Orson w/ Trent Shaffer</strong></p><p>

<em>Could see this going the other way, but I'm thinking Orson by nefarious means leading to a rematch.</em></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

'Magnificent' Gino Montero</strong> [vs] 'High Energy' Seeker</p><p>

<em>Gino needs to rebuild after losing the title and this should be a good win for him.</em></p>

Put Your Title Where Your Mouth Is!!

AZ1ShU1.jpg

Sonny Wildside, who doesn't fear ANYTHING, headed to the ring to open the show... He asked for a microphone!!

Sonny Wildside:
“Jacob Jett!! You think you're a better high-flier than me...?! Well why don't you put your NOTBPW Television Title on the line in our match tonight!! If I win, I take the Title... If you win, I'll step aside, and let you join Team Steve/Gino...!!”

It didn't take long for Jett to agree to the stipulation... Providing the match starts RIGHT NOW!!

'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] 'The Amazing' Jacob Jett ©

A very exciting match here, between two very exciting competitors. Jacob Jett looked controlled and patient, while Wildside was more frantic and explosive! For the finish, Wildside attempted a superplex, but Jett fought him off and then delivered his 'Jett Take Off' finisher!

Winner:
and STILL NOTBPW Television Champion: 'The Amazing' Jacob Jett

Finish:
'Jett Take Off' (Double Stomp)

IN and IN

AZ1ShU1.jpgP2ikNu0.pngl0sySFw.jpg

Following the match, Gino Montero walked out to the ring, and shook Sonny Wildside's hand as the youngster left it...

Gino Montero:
“You guys were 'Amazzzing' tonigh', an' we woul' lorve ta have you BOTH on our team at Jeopardy... Bo' with only room for JUAN... I can't think of a better partner... Than a former TWO time NOTBPW Tag Team Champion... A former TWO time Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup Winner... And the CURRENT... NOTBPW Televission Champion... Jacob Jett!!”

Gino raised Jett's hand, and accepted him onto his Maple Leaf Mayhem team... But the two fan favourites were not alone for long!!

rLO60PJ.jpg

Jett's former friend Seeker clocked Gino Montero from behind with a steel chair, sending the 'Magnificent' Mexican flying into the ropes!!

Jett and Seeker brawled around the ring for a few moments, until a thumb to the eye gained the advantage for Seeker...

Seeker used the chair on Jett, and continued to beat down Gino Montero!! James Hernandez then wondered onto the stage...

2TNlbwI.png

James Hernandez:
“Mr. Jett... Welcome to Team LOSERS... I look forward to beating you at Jeopardy... Meanwhile... Say hello to the FIFTH, and FINAL, member of MY team... of WINNERS... Ladies and Gentlemen... The man known as: SEEKER!!”

Seeker pointed up the ramp, and the cocky Hernandez grinned and pointed back at him...

Fight Of His Life

Katie Cameron had Aldous Blackfriar with her backstage next... and asked him about his upcoming match against Prometheus!

Aldous Blackfriar:
“Well... Prome...”

Before Aldous could get a single thought out, POISON and Prometheus walked around the corner...

6zDwFxG.jpg8S5PcmJ.jpg

POISON:
“There you are MULE...!! Grab our bags... and follow us...”

Aldous looked at the floor, and reluctantly picked up POISON and Prometheus' bags...

POISON:
“Oh and Katie... To answer your question... Aldous Blackfriar is in for the fight of his life at Jeopardy... He has NO chance... of causing an upset!!”

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] The Sons Of Anarchy (Logan DeColt & Robin DaLay)

The Sons Of Anarchy are a really good tag team, and they are vicious competitors. But they were no match for the experienced European tandem of Jay B and Buff Martinez here. Buff used his quickness to stay out of Robin DaLay's grasp, while the crafty Jay B managed to get Logan DeColt angry and to break the rules on numerous occasions, drawing the referee's attention. In the end, the boxing background of Jay B came into play, as he clocked Robin with a brutal RIGHT Hand!

Winners:
Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez)

Finish:
'RIGHT Hand'

One Last Ride

Veterans Dan DaLay and John Maverick headed out to the ring following the match, and walked past Hotstuff on the ramp...

They got into the ring, and the Sons Of Anarchy climbed out of it as quickly as their weakened bodies would carry them...

Dan DaLay:
“Yeah you boys better run while you can... Because at Jeopardy, we're going to break your damn legs, and teach you some respect!!”

Jeopardy will be John Maverick's final match alongside his friend Dan DaLay... and then his final singles match will be next week...

The 42 year old will go 1 on 1 with his friend 'Angry' Tom Gilmore... Providing Gilmore survives the Street Fight with Jack DeColt!!

Give Me Seeker!!

eSKKyBg.jpgl0sySFw.jpg

Gino Montero stormed into Dark Angel's office next... Demanding that the NOTBPW Match Maker make a match for tonight!!

Gino Montero:
“Give me Seeker in the ring tonight... Or I will RIP this building down, brick... by brick... until I find him!!”

Angel told Montero to be careful what he wishes for... Seeker is a dangerous enemy to make...

But Gino said he's already made him an enemy, as Seeker has joined Team Hernandez for Maple Leaf Mayhem!!

Primed For Progress & Donte Dunn [vs] Iron And Stone & Akima Brave

Six man tag team matches are often chaotic, as there are lots of different moving parts at play. All six participants usually want to break pin and submission attempts up constantly, and this match was no different. The referee lost all control at one point, and it resulted in Donte Dunn being pinned by the angry and arrogant Akima Brave, who was NOT the legal man!

79

Winners:
Iron And Stone & Akima Brave

Finish:
'Samoan Suplex' (Jackhammer)

Joined by the leader of Faith Enterprises: Faith, the entire Team Hernandez were sat backstage... With newest member: Seeker!!

James Hernandez:
“We have much to discuss gentlemen... Maple Leaf Mayhem is no joke... 5 on 5... Iron Man Rules... There will be five referees, and it is an absolute free for all... But we MUST remain on the same page... Later tonight, Seeker will fight Gino Montero 1 on 1... A real opportunity for our newest member to take out one of their captains... And Ace... I'd like you to accompany Seeker to the ring tonight...”

Hernandez said that Andrews knows what to do... and 'The Ace' nodded...

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

A straightforward enough win for Jonathan Faust here. Solomon Gold has long limbs, and is very tall, and a lot of competitors find him hard to deal with at times. But Faust knew just what to do. He hit some brutal shots to Gold's knees, and it rocked the youngster. He was clearly hurt, and he could barely stand up, let alone fight back. For the finish, Faust hit 'The Rod'; a running knee to the side of Gold's head, and he was knocked out!

Winner:
'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

Finish:
'The Rod' (Running Knee)

Sunnier Days Are Coming

V5vE6UN.jpgQjp1NDY.jpgxfnzBKE.jpg

Backstage, Donte Dunn was drying himself after presumably a shower... He lost his match earlier tonight and looked unusually sombre...

In walked Steve DeColt and KC Glenn, which seemed to perk Dunn up a little...

Steve DeColt:
“Dunn... I've always liked you... So you're IN!! I don't care that (Akima) Brave beat you earlier... He walked out on you last week, and that's not the kind of team player I want...”

DeColt and Dunn shook hands... and then Glenn outstretched a hand too, saying 'Welcome Aboard'...

Dunn shook it, and a large smile crept across the Barbadian's face!!

'The Assassin' Ernest Youngman [vs] 'Awesome' Wade Orson w/ Trent Shaffer

A classic match with two very different styles. Ernest Youngman and Wade Orson are both at the same stage of their careers, and the same level as each other. They used to have mutual respect for one another, but since Orson's attitude change, alongside his fellow 'Rebel Pirate' Trent Shaffer, all the respect has gone out the window. If it was up to Orson, he'd
throw
Youngman out of a window! In the end here, he threw Youngman into the ring post shoulder first. It wasn't long after that that Orson hit the 'Bounce Back' Kip Up DDT and scored the win.

Television Connection

In their usual drinking hole, The Coast To Coast Connection were sat around drinking beers and playing cards...

Sayeed Ali:
“I NEED to get my (Television) Title back boys... And you're gonna help me... I have an idea...”

Lenny Brown joked that all good ideas start with a sip of a beer... But Ali wasn't in the mood to joke around tonight...

'The Notorious' Ali had had to watch Sonny Wildside compete for the Television Title earlier tonight... And he believed Sonny didn't deserve it...

Legendary Blondes

iktYhaL.jpgnPvEyos.jpg

Having not appeared on NOTBPW Television for a couple of weeks, Owen Love and The Natural were featured next...

We learned that next week, the legendary CanAm Blondes would be here LIVE... with an announcement about their future...

The commentators surmised that the two veterans would be retiring soon, and their announcement could be such...

But could they be right...?! Could the three time Ed Henson Cup winners, and four time Tag Team Champions be about to retire?!

'Magnificent' Gino Montero [vs] 'High Energy' Seeker w/ Aaron Andrews

A fantastic Main Event with a lot of elements in play. Aaron Andrews is a crafty competitor, and was a constant menace at ringside as the vicious Seeker did his bidding. Seeker usually uses everything at his disposal to keep his opponent down, and tonight was no different. He used Andrews mostly, as 'The Ace' did some work on the outside of the ring. This all came to an end when Steve DeColt marched to the ring and scared Andrews off to the other side. Ace was nearly instrumental in costing Gino Montero the match though, as he grabbed Gino's leg, and it allowed Seeker to deliver a brutal spinning kick to the chin, but Gino kicked out! For the finish, all hell broke loose. Gino was looking for his 'Destiny Explosion' (Canadian Destroyer), and Andrews had seen enough! He got into the ring, and caused the disqualification before Gino could win it cleanly!

Winner:
'Magnificent' Gino Montero

Finish:
Disqualification

At varying intervals, the members of both Maple Leaf Mayhem teams hit the ring, causing a 10-man brawl after the match!!

Gino Montero and Steve DeColt's team held the ring in the end, as Faith called off her boys, and the others followed...

Team Hernandez didn't seem too disappointed that they had 'lost' the fight... as they were the group that threw the first, and best, punches...

Hammer It Out

6Ysd8C7.jpgeSKKyBg.jpgTMpthCl.jpgzZ7sW8N.jpg

Overseen by NOTBPW Match Maker Dark Angel, and Road Agent Sam Keith, we ended the show with a contract signing...

This Saturday at Jeopardy, 'Angry' Tom Gilmore will take on 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt in a Street Fight!!

Gilmore has not forgotten how much Jack goaded him into a match at Mid Summer Madness...

Nor has he forgotten how Jack has treated John Maverick, among others, in recent weeks... just to get to Gilmore!!

Jack also went to Gilmore's HOUSE, and wrecked his garage... Stealing his hammer in the process...

The 'Wild Man' pulled the hammer out of his jacked pocket once the contracts were signed, and slammed it on the table as he glared at Gilmore...

Gilmore was furious, but Jack just smiled and slid backwards out of the ring... No words were spoken between the two men at all, in a tense encounter...!!

Peter Michaels:
“Well gentlemen... THAT... was tense!!”

Adrian Garcia:
“It certainly was Michaels... Wow... I was looking forward to their Jeopardy clash already... Now I'm reeeeally looking forward to it!!”

Peter Michaels:
“Jeopardy is shaping up nicely gentlemen... Well... All that's left for me to say, is stay safe, and we'll see you on Saturday Night!!”

Another amazing match took place this week, this time for SWF at The Supreme Challenge 38... The Crippler defeated Wolf Hawkins to retain the SWF World Heavyweight Title in a 99 rated Main Event... The co-Main Event saw Nicky Champion go over Randy Bumfhole in a 95... Frederique Antonio Garcia went over Sammy Bach by DQ with a 99 on SWF Television too!!

Seiji Jimbo and Kozue Kawashima were at it again at PGHW The King's Road, as they pulled a 98... Kawashima then scored a 100 in a double count out against Yoshimi Mushashibo at Night Of WARRIORS!!

Street Fight:

'Angry' Tom Gilmore [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

Comments: If there is one thing that I see happening on your shows, the DeColts are starting to cede the spotlight to some of the newer stars. Montero, Hernandez, and the like have stepped into the middle of everything, and Gilmore, while not the figurehead type, gives you ratings when called upon. This is a good step for him into that upper echelon.

John Maverick Retirement Tour:

Dan DaLay & John Maverick [vs] The Sons Of Anarchy (Robin DaLay & Logan DeColt)

Comments: I found this one difficult to predict since I could see the old guys grabbing a win or going out on their shields. I went with the win since it would be a good hat tip to them as they leave rather than going out with the loss.

Grudge Match:

'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar [vs] 'The Dark Shadow' Prometheus w/ POISON

Comments: Mutant returns at an opportune time. Not sure if this is a face turn by these guys or just turning towards the middle, but it tells a good story here in the tag ranks.

NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match:

Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) © [vs] Iron And Stone (Tim Westybrook & Edd Stone)

Comments: P4P has been champions more than a few times, and the heel side is heavy. But you've built up some good face teams, and this gives them a chance to mix it up with a very talented team in Iron and Stone.

Grudge Match:

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson)

Comments: This is one of those face teams you've built up, and while I don't know if this is clean (maybe Youngman is hanging around?), this is a good build-up win for the English boys.

Maple Leaf Mayhem Match:

Gino Montero, Steve DeColt, Donte Dunn, KC Glenn & Jacob Jett

[vs]

James Hernandez, Luis Montero Jr., Spencer Spade, Aaron Andrews & Seeker

Rules: Five On Five Match, with Iron Man Rules!! Thirty Minute Time Limit!! Falls Count Anywhere!!

Comments: Hard to call, but I like giving Faith some pop and letting your champ look great. I am excited to see how guys like Dunn and Glenn do though. This has a Kofi feel that, if they can acquit themselves well, they find themselves in more and more important spots moving forward.

Street Fight:

'Angry' Tom Gilmore [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

Comments: This one really depends on if you plan to keep this feud going. If you do, Gilmore needs to win. If not, Jack wins as he's the DeColt. I think this could be a fun little feud, so I'm risking that you want to extend this to at least one more match.

Comments: Primed For Progress are the cornerstone of your tag division, and I don't see their reign ending here.

Grudge Match:

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson)

Comments: Hotstuff are awesome, and I'm picking them to win here and move on to be the next challengers for P4P.

Comments: Going with the faces here to continue their run. I like Stone but I think someone else dethrones P4P.

Grudge Match:

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson)

Comments: Total tossup here. Not very confident in this one. Hotstuff shouldn't lose their first PPV match but its also the Rebel Pirates first PPV match as a team.
