'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] 'The Saviour Of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

This feels like the Sonny Wildside Retirement Tour...

'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC

This should be a slugfest. But Ali gets back in the win column while Dan is heading for the door by hook or by crook.

The John Maverick Retirement Tour

'The Silent Threat' John Maverick [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King

I am not sure that King needs to get a win since he is stuck down the card. Get Maverick some more momentum before his blowoff with Gilmore.

'The Second Generation Superstar' Cameron Vessey [vs] 'The Enforcer' Tim Westybrook

Westy is the lesser of the two Iron & Stone teammates even if he still is a main event talent. This is a good chance for Vessey to get a big win.

Steve DeColt & Gino Montero [vs] The CanAm Blondes

I am intrigued by the Montero and DeColt pairing. This could be glorious.

JUNE 2018, WEEK 4...

Show Rating: 90

Announce Team:

EilZ96F.jpglNhSZHh.jpgoRDumP8.jpg

Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and Adrian Garcia

Maple Leaf Mayhem

2TNlbwI.png

James Hernandez came to the ring next, with not one, but TWO microphones... making sure his points were heard properly...

James Hernandez:
“People have been saying that I'm in cahoots with Faith Enterprises...!! Well you're damn right I'm in cahoots with them... When I heard Luis (Montero Jr.) was under the El Fuego mask, I knew I needed to join forces with them... I knew I could get in Gino Montero's head... and TAKE his NOTBPW Canadian Title... Besides, I respect Luis a LOT more than I respect Gino...”

l0sySFw.jpgV5vE6UN.jpg

Just then, Gino Montero and Steve DeColt headed to the ring... The two fan favourites looked on the same page... Hernandez exited the ring!!

Steve DeColt:
“Hernandez... Me and Gino BOTH want to get our hands on you at Jeopardy... We could do a Handicap Match... But that'd be unfair... We could do a Triple Threat, but then you might leave as Champion if we take each other out... So we've come up with this... At Jeopardy... You pick a team... We'll pick a team... for MAPLE, LEAF, MAYHEM!!”

** NOTE ** Maple Leaf Mayhem, for those of you who don't know, is a Five On Five Match, with Iron Man Rules!!

I created it for my previous NOTBPW vs CGC diary, and entrants came into the match at intervals, like the Royal Rumble...

For Jeopardy, all ten participants will start in the ring... Making it a shorter match, but there will still be No Disqualifications!! And chaos!! ** END OF NOTE **

'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

Two great athletes close to the Main Event scene doing battle here. Sonny Wildside doesn't fear anything, but Jonathan Faust gave him a lot to think about. 'The Saviour of Wrestling' knows how to control an opponent using headlocks and take-downs. But eventually, Wildside exploded into life. He hit a few flying kicks, and finally the 'Fear Factor' after a back and forth fight.

Winner:
'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside

Finish:
'Fear Factor' Moonsault Stomp

Backstage, POISON and Prometheus arrived at the building, and bumped straight into Aldous Blackfriar...

POISON:
“There you are Aldous... Come along now and grab our bags!!”

Aldous looked reluctant, but without his 'muscle' Mutant he was powerless to do anything about POISON and especially Prometheus...

It was clear he wanted to hit both of them, but he thought better of it, and grabbed their bags...

Sunny Daze

Qjp1NDY.jpgywVP5bX.jpg

Elsewhere backstage, Akima Brave walked in on Donte Dunn, who was talking to a backstage employee...

Donte Dunn:
“I know... an' if Steve DeCol' or Gino Montero comes a callin'... I'll be ready ta join their team for Maple Leaf Mayhem... And den someone... Is gonna get some o' dem Sunny Daze!!”

Akima laughed... He asked why a guy like Steve DeColt or Gino Montero would bother choosing him for their team...

Akima Brave:
“They'll be heading to Jeopardy to WIN... All you do when you're part of a team... is LOSE...”

Dunn stood up and got in Brave's face... but the big Samoan just laughed again... Dunn said he'd prove his worth next week!!

Dunn and Brave will team up AGAIN!! They've been on the same team four times now, but have lost their last three!!

HdzHSKl.jpg

Peter Michaels:
“Gentlemen... I have some news right now... Two odd couples will do battle next week!! Akima Brave and Donte Dunn, who we just saw, do NOT get along... But they'll be taking on a former duo, who get on even LESS!! Jacob Jett will team up with his big rival Seeker!!”

Adrian Garcia:
“My goodness Michaels!! What a MATCH that'll be!! They're evenly matched, but not only that, NONE of them get along!!”

Tom Townsend:
“I'm looking forward to seeing how Seeker is going to screw over Jacob Jett... It's what he does best!!”

'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC

Two fantastic workers, who showed all of their skills in this match. Dan DaLay used his power and size edge to keep Sayeed Ali on the back foot, while Ali used his friends: the Coast To Coast Connection, to keep DaLay preoccupied. For the finish, a distracted DaLay would look for his 'DaLay Down' headbutt, but Ali sprung out of his clutches. The 'Notorious' New Yorker was then able to deliver his 'Uppercut Palm Strike', and knock DaLay out!

Winner:
'Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC

Finish:

The Sons Of Anarchy

ciPrSJU.jpg80qoJKb.jpgepgDKue.jpg

The final bell rang, and things didn't get better for Dan DaLay... His son Robin, and his Nephew Logan DeColt soon hit the ring!

The young tag team known as the Sons Of Anarchy (being the sons of Dan DaLay and Alex DeColt) put the boots to the veteran...

The Coast To Coast Connection decided to leave them to it... as this wasn't their fight... But luckily, Dan had someone who WAS watching his back!!

7lmD5aZ.jpg

'The Silent Threat' John Maverick sprinted out, and sent the youngsters packing... before helping his old friend up to his feet!!

HdzHSKl.jpg

Ace In The Office

leDkV1c.jpg

'The Ace' Aaron Andrews was shown in a pre-taped video next... where he was sat in an office, behind a very large desk...

Aaron Andrews:
“Well... As I continue to build my case against NOTBPW, and in particular, the Stone Brothers... I'd like to draw everyone's attention to my most recent FOUR matches... I've had to wrestle the TV Champ... the Canadian Champ... the Tag Champs, in a tag match... and Dan Stone Jr. himself!! I'm adding those matches, to the long list, of misdemeanours against me...”

Andrews said that he knows Dan and Jeremy Stone will be backing the team of Steve DeColt & Gino Montero...

Aaron Andrews:
“Therefore... I'm declaring MYSELF... for 'Team Hernandez'... James Hernandez is one of my BEST friends... and I'll be there to help him rid NOTBPW, of those whiny... complaining... fools Steve and Gino!!”

The John Maverick Retirement Tour

7lmD5aZ.jpgKqhQmzK.jpgevQWWP1.jpg

'The Silent Threat' John Maverick [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King

John Maverick remained in the ring after helping Dan DaLay, and got set to take on his former tag team partner Lord James King. Maverick and LJK had an even fight for much of the match, but again Logan DeColt and Robin DaLay made their presence known! Dan DaLay headed out, but he was double-teamed by the Sons Of Anarchy. Maverick and the referee paid attention to the fight outside the ring, and King was able to add brass knucks to his fists! He hit the 'Power Of The Punch', and this time Maverick was knocked out!

Winner:
'Gentleman' Lord James King

Finish:
'Power Of The Punch'

A Second Bite Of The Cherry

7lmD5aZ.jpgciPrSJU.jpg

80qoJKb.jpgepgDKue.jpg

John Maverick and Dan DaLay were jumped by Logan DeColt and Robin DaLay following the match...

The young 'Sons Of Anarchy' wanted a second chance to take the veterans out... Lord James King decided not to help... much to the dismay of the fans...

But Maverick and DaLay DID get some help... In the form of 'Angry' Tom Gilmore!!

6Ysd8C7.jpg

Gilmore sprinted to the ring, slid in, and put Logan and Robin Down with spinebusters!! He kicked them out under the ropes...

Maverick and DaLay thanked their saviour, but 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt soon appeared on the screen... Jack was LIVE from an unknown location!!

zZ7sW8N.jpg

Jack had a lot to say... but as the camera panned, it became abundantly clear where he was speaking from...

Jack DeColt:
“That's right Gilmore... I'm at your HOUSE... And here... Is your garage... The place we've seen you 'broadcast from' for months... Yu see, you pick and choose when you show upon TV... and hide away in your 'Man Cave'... I'd bet if I go up these stairs, I'll find your mumma baking cookies... But what I want to do right now... Is give your well-organised tools some attention...”

Jack eluded to the fact that Gilmore's tools were well organised by Gilmore... and that they looked great...

He then proceeded to TRASH the entire garage!! Throwing things all over the place, and breaking many power tools in the process!!

Gilmore was furious in the ring, but he was miles and miles away from the carnage... He could only watch...

Jack grabbed one tool in particular... a hammer with a light blue handle... and left the garage with the hammer in his hand!!

Pick Your Poison

5QiMogs.jpgreKP0gk.jpg

Jay B and Buff Martinez – the tag team known as Hotstuff, headed to the ring next... With a message for the NOTBPW tag team division!!

Jay B:
“We're here now... This is OUR division... And we've been told that next week, we can have a match, against ANY tag team we want... We could choose the Champs: Primed For Progress... But we want Wade Orson, and Trent Shaffer!!”

6zDwFxG.jpg8S5PcmJ.jpgz59xWMv.jpg

The music of POISON and Prometheus hit though, and they headed onto the stage... followed by the reluctant Aldous Blackfriar...

POISON:
“You're right Jay B... You could choose Primed For Progress... but that would be a cop out... Prometheus and I are giving you NO choice... Next week, you'll be fighting ME... and... Aldous!!”

Aldous Blackfriar didn't know how to react... He rolled his eyes and looked to the heavens... But he also realised the opportunity at stake...

'The Second Generation Superstar' Cameron Vessey w/ Christian Price [vs] 'The Enforcer' Tim Westybrook w/ Edd Stone

An excellent contest, between two tag team specialists here. Cameron Vessey and Tim Westybrook are both experienced competitors, and they told a great story out there. They had help from Christian Price and Edd Stone at ringside, but it was the big 'Enforcer' Westybrook who made the difference. His size and strength was hard for Vessey to handle, but he made a good showing of himself. Vessey handled Westybrook by staying away from him, sticking and moving, and using his quickness. In the end though, Vessey displayed previously unseen levels of power himself, when he hit the 'Vessey Driver II' on big Tim Westybrook!!

87

Winner:
'The Second Generation Superstar' Cameron Vessey w/ Christian Price

Finish:
'Vessey Driver II' (Package Piledriver)

</div>

Peter Michaels:
“Gentlemen, a fantastic match between Vessey and Westybrook there... But next week, their partners will do battle 1 on 1!!”

Adrian Garcia:
“Yeah Christian Price and Edd Stone are no strangers to one another, and they'll get their ninth match in the same ring, at the same time, next week...”

Tom Townsend:
“Their TENTH match, will be at Jeopardy... As Primed For Progress, defend their NOTBPW Tag Team Titles, against Iron and Stone!!”

With Friends Like These...

2oL9jgy.jpg1zRAGUf.jpg3sbjBgR.jpg

Ernest Youngman was backstage with his friends The Ring Generals next... Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler looked fired up!!

Ernest Youngman:
“Dean and Marv are my friends... I thought I had two more friends... Wade Orson and Trent Shaffer... But they showed their true colours when they took me out... Now the only men I trust, are stood in this room... So next week, The Ring Generals, take on Orson and Shaffer...!! And I'll be in Dean and Marv's corner!!”

Steve DeColt & Gino Montero [vs] The CanAm Blondes

As co-team captains for Maple Leaf Mayhem, Steve DeColt and Gino Montero need to make sure they gel well. Opposing them will be James Hernandez, and his good friend Aaron Andrews, as well as presumably Faith Enterprise members Spencer Spade and Luis Montero Jr, who get on very well. It's a five man team, but one bad apple can make a big difference. Luckily for Steve and Gino, their budding friendship grew due to a mutual hatred of the CanAm Blondes. The Natural and Owen Love acted like jerks throughout the match, and didn't endear themselves to anyone, least of all the fans in attendance. For the finish, Steve DeColt blasted The Natural in the face with his 'DeColt Stampede' Big Boot, and Gino Montero was able to hit Love with his unstoppable 'Destiny Explosion' finisher!

89

Winners:
Steve DeColt & Gino Montero

Finish:
'Destiny Explosion' (Canadian Destroyer)

</div>

Peter Michaels:
“So Steve DeColt and Gino Montero getting on well gentlemen!!”

Adrian Garcia:
“Yeah for now Michaels... But don't forget, Steve previously accused Gino of being the man who attacked him at Super Slam...!!”

Tom Townsend:
“It's an interesting time to be a DeColt and a Montero guys... Join us next week as the two Maple Leaf Mayhem teams continue to take shape...”

USPW have become the first company in this universe to rise to International Size! This could be a huge blow to National companies PGHW, SWF and SOTBPW... and of course NOTBPW, who thought they were going to be the first!! The rise comes after a Match of the Year candidate between Tommy Cornell and Steve Frehley on USPW TV this week!! USPW have already made a big impact since the rise, by signing manager and colour commentator Emma Chase from SWF, as well as NOTBPW veteran John Maverick!!

PGHW have responded with TWO 99 rated matches at their recent show... Chojiro Kitoaji defeated Kozue Kawashima in the co-Main Event... and then to end the show, Yoshimi Mushashibo bested Seiji Jimbo!!

Following the announcement of the affair between Alex DeColt and Victoria Stone-McFly, the mainstream media paid a lot of close attention to the DeColts and the Stones... Particularly the youngest brothers Ricky (DeColt) and Edd (Stone)... Ricky is currently filming Marvel Cinema's latest Avengers movie, while Edd's partying antics have landed him multiple spreads in magazines and appearances in short videos online... Such is the interest in Edd, he's now been commissioned for his own Reality TV series... 'Being Stoned' begins filming as early as next week...!! More mainstream coverage for the stars of NOTBPW...

<p>Just trying to catch up on the diary, i'm currently at Scramble 2017. So many things i have enjoyed, such as Gargantuan's massive undefeated streak. Edd Stone's heel run. Everything with the Delay's/Alex Decolt and the secret and so much more. </p><p> </p><p>

Never played NOTBPW (big TCW fan here)before but this diary is making me get the itch and adjusting the product some like yourself, so Kudos on that!</p><p> </p><p>

Just two questions though after each month you put up the current pushes for your roster and the alignments. Do you actually play with the heel/face divide off and just tell us their alignments for our own knowledge? and Why does your roster stop after the midcard? do you not use lower cards and manually push everyone to mid card to avoid penalties or do you just feel like they since they are lower card guys you don't need to show them?</p>

I really appreciate the feedback on those stories. DaLays/Alex/Logan and Gargantuan's streak are two of the biggest and most fun I've ever written... They've both ended badly for various reasons, but there we go <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> That's wrestling I guess!</p><p> </p><p> I play with the face and heel divide very much <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>on</strong></span>. I believe in good guys and bad guys as the best way to tell a story. I'm currently 2 hours into RAW this week for example, and [**SPOILERS IN WHITE**] <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Cesaro has mentioned how much he loved Brock for attacking Rey and Dominic... Ricochet stuck up for Rey and Dom, and it lead to a match between Cesaro and Ricochet. A match we've seen before, but a reason to HAVE the match!! The only thing I'd have done differently, is have Ricochet challenge Cesaro to a match for NEXT WEEK!! That way, we have a week to look forward to it, and the story moves on without either of them wrestling, and one of them losing. Which leads to over exposure, and Cesaro being perceived as not being able to beat anyone! NXT does this SOOOO well. </span> [**END OF SPOILERS**] Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Thanks for this guys. I for one hope NXT stays on the WWE Network!

Apologies for the delay in posting shows. I've taken a little break from writing to avoid burn out. Summer Smash was taking some time to write, so I just stopped for a bit. I have the next seven shows fully written out though, so I'm not falling behind or anything ;)

I do keep getting a hankering to start a new WWE (Three Brands) save... But with the new game around the corner, I'm not sure the timing is right. I think if I was to do it, the Draft would be the perfect time to take the helm (and do the draft my own way). I'd probably completely mix the three brands up. In my opinion, bleeding NXT into RAW and Smackdown would freshen up all three shows!! Johnny Gargano vs The Feind. Velveteen Dream vs Randy Orton. Tommaso Ciampa vs Seth Rollins. AJ Styles vs Matt Riddle. Charlotte vs Shayna Baszler. There is SO much you could do that's never been done before with three 'equal' brands. Anyway, I'm rambling again, apologies.

<p>'The Stud' Christian Price [vs] <strong>'The Animal' Edd Stone</strong></p><p>

<em>Vessey got the win for their team, Stone gets the win for theirs.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez)</strong> [vs] POISON & Aldous Blackfriar</p><p>

<em>I think something (like Prometheus) makes it so Blackfriar loses, and POISON won't even care.</em></p><p> </p><p>

The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf & Marv Statler) [vs] <strong>Rebel Pirates (Wade Orson & Trent Shaffer)</strong></p><p>

<em>I chuckled at "Rebel Pirates," but the team is a solid pairing. The Generals are barely seen on TV anymore, much less winning.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'Country Strong' KC Glenn</strong> [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King</p><p>

<em>The quicker Glenn can get over, the better off your company is. Build him into a star.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] <strong>'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali</strong></p><p>

<em>Ali is going to lay a whooping on Gold. As an aside, Ross Henry was not on the roster pushes above. He isn't gone, right?</em></p><p> </p><p>

Donte Dunn & Akima Brave <strong>[vs]</strong> Jacob Jett & Seeker</p><p>

<em>This is honestly a fatal four way, just no one knows it. Because of that, I think it ends in chaos.</em></p>

FINALLY caught up on the entire diary! So excited to predict shows, and even better its a new month!

'The Stud' Christian Price [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone

I feel like Edd wins with some outside interference

Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] POISON & Aldous Blackfriar

I dont see the makeshift team of POISON and Aldous cooperating very well in this one

The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf & Marv Statler) [vs] Rebel Pirates (Wade Orson & Trent Shaffer)

This one is tough for me i love the RG, but i feel like they never win the big matches and are mainly used to make others look good like you've mentioned before

'Country Strong' KC Glenn [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King

KC keeps up his solid momentum with a win over LJK

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali

The Hillbilly doesn't stand a chance in this to me, especially with the rest of CTC on the outside

Donte Dunn & Akima Brave [vs] Jacob Jett & Seeker - Draw

I noticed you dont do to many draws or double DQ's/Countouts, but both teams have tension with their partners i dont see either working together very well to pick up a win for their team
