Tag team action opened RAW this week as Harlem Heat took on the much bigger duo of Earthquake & Typhoon. Booker T & Stevie Ray however showed that sometimes speed trumps power as they managed to pick up the victory thanks to a Booker T scissors kick. <strong>(B- / 76)</strong><p> </p><p> - Immediately following the bell Harlem Heat find themselves jumped from behind by Faarooq and Mustapha Saed! The Nation of Domination lay into Booker T and Stevie Ray, clearly furious over having their offer to let the duo join the Nation rejected. Faarooq & Saed left Harlem Heat lying in the ring, message clearly sent that you don’t embarrass the Nation of Domination. <strong>(B / 78)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Ahead of Vader’s match later tonight Jim Cornette took a chance to promise that tonight the Mastodon will show Scott Steiner exactly what he’s in for on Sunday. <strong>(B- / 74)</strong></p><p> </p><p> 2. This Sunday Etsuko Mita will challenge for the WWF Women’s Championship. Tonight she built up some momentum as she and Manami Toyota picked up the win over the champion Madusa and Ivory with Mita pinning Ivory with the Death Valley Driver. Mita might not have pinned the champion but she certainly sent a message that this Sunday will be a real test of Madusa’s title reign. <strong>(C+ / 70)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Ahead of tonight’s main event Kevin Nash and Scott Hall had plenty to say about Shawn Michaels and his ‘little buddy’ Syxx. Nash & Hall said that they’ve got ‘buddies’ too, and maybe they’ll introduce them this Sunday when they crush Michaels like the snake that he is. That’s if they don’t do it tonight first. <strong>(B+ / 86)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Ted DiBiase, flanked by Bam Bam Bigelow, invited Tatanka down to the ring to ‘make peace’. Tatanka stopped short of entering the ring, expecting a trap, so DiBiase offered him a wad of cash to go home to whatever stolen land he came from and end his pathetic career. Tatanka instead pulled out a native american handaxe! Tatanka chased Bigelow and DiBiase out of the ring, swinging the axe around, and promising to ‘axe’ the Million Dollar Corporation this Sunday. <strong>(C / 63)</strong></p><p> </p><p> 3. Jim Cornette said that Vader would show Scott Steiner what he was in for tonight and he did just that as he ran straight through Steve Corino, finishing him off with the Vaderbomb. <strong>(C+ / 68)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Scott Steiner marched down to the ring, clearly not scared of Vader, and squared up to him. Vader piefaced him and Steiner, enraged, grabbed Vader and drove him to the mat with a massive belly to belly suplex! Vader rolled out of the ring, enraged, but Cornette led him to the back, possibly concerned at the ease Steiner lifted the Mastodon. <strong>(B / 81)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="wqgw26H.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wqgw26H.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SPOTLIGHT SEGMENT</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Xa7o11Q.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Xa7o11Q.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5Uw0aWB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5Uw0aWB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> WWF World Champion Owen Hart headed to the ring and called out his challenger this Sunday, The British Bulldog. Owen said that Davey Boy had been avoiding him all week, giving him the cold shoulder ever since last week’s RAW. Owen said that this Sunday is meant to be about family going one on one just to see who the better man is, not about conflict or anything else. The British Bulldog joined Owen in the ring, but clearly wasn’t his usual self. Davey Boy told Owen that he thought it was about the competition too, that was until Owen cost him his match last week. Bulldog said that maybe it was an accident, but that the only reason he even tried to get involved is because he didn’t think that he could handle things himself!</p><p> </p><p> The British Bulldog said that this is exactly what he challenged Owen in the first place, because he, just like everybody else, doesn’t think he’s as good as people like Owen Hart, like Bret Hart, they think he’s a screw up, an also-ran, somebody who’s just a good hand. But he’s done being a good hand and this Sunday he’s going to prove to these fans, to Owen and to himself that he is as good as anybody in the World Wrestling Federation when he takes the WWF World Championship just like he deserves! Owen and the fans were left rattled by Bulldog’s change in attitude, the title match this Sunday now being more than just a match. For Bulldog it was now the only opportunity he had to prove he deserved to be in the main event.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RATING:</strong> A* (100)</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="wqgw26H.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wqgw26H.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> 4. Six man tag team action brought together two of Capital Carnage’s matches and it was Eddie Guerrero and The Franchise Players who came out on top against Diamond Dallas Page and The Bodydonnas. It actually looked set to go the other way until Shane Douglas started arguing with the official. Storm slid the Money in the Bank briefcase into the ring and Eddie clocked Bagwell with it to steal the win before DDP could break it up! <strong>(B / 81)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Kane was scheduled to make his debut as part of the RAW brand against Agony of The Executioners, however Pain & Agony decided to try and jump Kane before the bell! It didn’t work out for them however as Kane tore them apart and put them both down with a double chokeslam, reminding everyone just how dangerous he is. <strong>(C- / 56)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Rey Mysterio was being interviewed about his European Championship defence at Capital Carnage when the challenger, Raven, made his presence felt. Raven assured Mysterio he wasn’t there to attack him, because he didn’t need to. He was already inside Mysterio’s head and on Sunday everybody will see that the masked man can feel fear. <strong>(B / 81)</strong></p><p> </p><p> 5. With their tag team partners watching on from ringside Steve Austin and Bubba Ray Dudley clashed in a rough, stiff contest. With his experience as a singles competitor Austin had a clear advantage, though Bubba gave as good as he got. Despite this the match wouldn’t have a definitive finish as D-Von jumped Austin in the ring for the disqualification as he was setting up for the Stunner. <strong>(B / 79)</strong></p><p> </p><p> - The Dudley Boyz continued their assault after the bell, Brian Pillman quickly coming to the aid of Austin only to be overcome by the numbers game. The Dudleyz took Pillman outside the ring and drove him onto the floor with the 3D. They brought a table into the ring, D-Von lifting Austin onto Bubba Ray’s shoulders, Bubba powerbombing Austin straight through the table! The Dudley Boyz have sent a clear message to the WWF World Tag Team Champions less than a week before they challenge for the titles. <strong>(B / 79)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="wqgw26H.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wqgw26H.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <strong>THE MAIN EVENT!</strong></p><p> <img alt="FEuIsko.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FEuIsko.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>VS</strong> <img alt="5f4f6cU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5f4f6cU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>SHAWN MICHAELS vs. SCOTT HALL</strong></p><p> Things were a bit different than when Shawn Michaels clashed with Kevin Nash two weeks ago, because now the playing field was levelled as the Heartbreak Kid has Syxx in his corner, watching his back as Nash prowled ringside. Despite this Michaels and Hall put on an absolutely fantastic match, the two proving why they’re two of the top stars in the WWF today. Michaels speed matched up with Hall’s strength, the two going back and forth. Hall took the advantage when he caught a charging Michaels with a big boot in the corner but when he went for the Razor’s Edge Shawn slipped out the back. Michaels took Hall down for a Sharpshooter only for the Bad Guy to kick him away, booting him into the corner. There Kevin Nash attempted to grab Michaels leg from the outside but Syxx came out of nowhere and caught Nash with a spin kick that took him down. Michaels launched out of the corner and connected with Sweet Chin Music, pinning Hall for a huge victory ahead of Sunday’s Capital Carnage!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WINNER:</strong> Shawn Michaels</p><p> <strong>RATING:</strong> A (90)</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="wqgw26H.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wqgw26H.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>SHOW RATING:</strong> A (90)</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

Once I'm all settled in I'll be able to post more regularly so consider this a brief break before this diary really gets into a proper flow of things.</div></div></div></div>

Then it was full steam ahead. Trying to move while fitting in work, and training was a real pain along wit trying to do the new place up.</p><p> </p><p> I think one day consisted of my doing a 20mile run then the rest of the day was up and down ladders taking wallpaper and ceiling tiles down! legs burnt that day! lol</p>
