I would make this a high risk/high reward feature though, where you basically only use it if your company is nearing bankruptcy or has fallen in popularity so much that you can't even fathom getting back to where you started.</p><p> </p><p> You'd have to bring in big names, feature big matches, and essentially spend all of your capital in hopes that it would work... but if it does, then you go from having no money left, to seeing a record attendance at your event, record PPV/On Demand buys or TV ratings, and increased eyes on your product going forward. </p><p> .</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> So, essentially Supercard 3 from AWA</p>

Could I use the Touring shows to replicate TV tapings like the original ECW used to do without actually having a touring schedule?

We've been bugging him for awhile about being able to run TV Tapings and get multiple shows in the can all at once. If he figured out a way to make it work, that may be a future announcement for TEW 2020. If it is, you won't need to worry about using touring shows for that, because you'll be able to schedule your TV Tapings and do it that way.</p><p> </p><p> Here's to hoping!</p>

<p>You could potentially run your own house shows with this new "Event Intent" feature. Possibly a new way to try out matches between people, check tag teams out, etc. without the penalties. </p><p> </p><p>

So I guess you could replicate house shows under this new feature (Lesser intent) and something like Tribute to the Troops (Throwaway Intent) as well? Neat!

It's the way to get your promotion an event like Wrestle Kingdom, where it's built up over the years to the point that the event itself is a draw.</p><p> </p><p> Intent seems to be designed so that someone like myself, who likes to run companies with a Puro flavor, can set the scheduled events to be on whatever level they're supposed to be. </p><p> </p><p> For instance, right now, if I book a Kingdom Road tour leading up to my Championship Kingdom event, it's possible for Championship Kingdom to event to gain Importance (Prestige), but not my tour shows, unless I leave them on my schedule and just alter the dates for the next year.</p><p> </p><p> However, the game thinks that my tour shows should be providing the same quality as the major event that they build to, which in the industry currently, doesn't match up.</p><p> </p><p> Intent will allow us to book our tour shows as such, so that the game doesn't demand the same quality and we can properly load them with multi-man tags and lesser wrestlers without getting penalized, or as heavily. Those shows won't draw the same sized crowds as major events, but they also won't require that you book a main event and semi-main event that pull the same type of overall numbers as the main and semi-main's that you would be scheduling for your major show.</p><p> </p><p> It's going to be great, because in the game I'm playing now, I need B- quality for all of my shows, which means that my Road To (build-up) shows are requiring matches that are as good as what my major events look for.</p><p> </p><p> Wrestle Kingdom is a good example, in that it's being headlined by Kenny Omega Vs Hiroshi Tanahashi, but the main events of the Road to Tokyo Dome Shows, while very good, were not the same quality that we're going to get from Kenny and Tana on January 4th. The matches in the Road to shows are almost throwaway bouts, but they also help to prepare the workers, advance storylines and get guys in the ring against people they otherwise may not have the chance to work with.</p>

The only thing that would make it better is if we could set AI booking levels for each type of show (normal, TV, tour, etc) which can load up lesser shows with tags.

It would be nice if we could have someone like Mustafa Ali debut and a week later pin the champion without having the champion complain about it. The complaints in TEW16 are ridiculous

I remember a few versions ago thinking "man, I hate having to copy and alter every single individual angle, I wish I could just do it when I book the angle", and next thing: BAM, Freestyle Angles!</p><p> </p><p> I honestly use Freestyle Angles 9 times out of 10 now, even when there's default ones which would do the same job. Such a good feature, it's amazing how much these game (EWR included) have evolved over the past few decades.</p>

<p>This new feature with the PM booking while maybe minor could be huge for real world mods. I am really looking forward to seeing this in action.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the control over events I really like this. Whether booking "house" shows or just some filler shows between big events this could be great!</p><p> </p><p>

Even then morale is so easy in game that 10-20k to fix it might totally be worth not taking the match penalty and just doing it with a furious worker altogether.</p>

Ten years into a save, for example, the entire game world would have changed beyond recognition - within that, I might not want to play as the same user character as the person who's save it originally was, with all the relationships they've built up over the course of the game, but I might want to have a stab at booking the promotion they've built, or a rival promotion within that world, as a wholly different character.</p><p> </p><p> It's a great addition for people who write diaries/dynasties - to be able to reach a point where the diary ends, and then release the data for someone else to pick up the baton and continue the story. Or, if I've booked a '90s WWF diary for a while and grown tired of it, I could release the data and have someone have the option of picking up where I left off, or playing as that "universe's" WCW and competing with the WWF I created.</p>

But this will mean the ability to make changes that you couldn't in the editor you have during a game and we will be able to carry saves over to future iterations of the game.l (e.g. TEW 2020 to 2022).</p>

It certainly has been my most requested feature. Now it looks like I don't have to kill a save with a new polished tew going forward. I can just clean up what's screwed up by database conversion and pick up where I left off.
