I think may favorite thing about this whole storyline is how, when it started, it looked like Stokeley was there to break-up Kris and Willow, and instead they went with Willow being just SO DARN POSITIVE that Stoke's heart grew three sizes, so much so that he apologized to Eddie Kingston for saying he smelled like Burger King & Newports.

Now, they need to deliver on that promise of Copeland versus Willow, so she can become the unified Turner Networks champion!

- OC getting his ass beat by Trent. Chuck finally said the S word on TV! Good Mox promo.
- Swerve vs Fletcher was my MOTN.
- Deonna's got beef with Toni, Mariah & Rosa. I think she's turning heel.
- Mina vs Anna was solid. Enjoyed Mariah, Toni & Deeb getting involved.
- Caprice singing Willow in ROH-style :) Things heating up between Willow & Mone. Statlander covertly stirring the pot.
- Casino Gauntlet match was good. I got LU Aztec Warfare vibes when Penta came out. Massive pop for Ospreay. Unexpected direction for him.
- New Jericho gimmick is funny. Already close to recruiting Big Bill. Dark Order should be taking notes.
- Callis won't have a Family soon if he's not careful.
- Mox (c) vs Hobbs was solid until Hobbs got hurt. Part-time DDT wrestler Takeshita going after the NJPW title is wild.
- 3 hour block again after last week did strong ratings. Rampage looks stacked. Shibata lol.
- Perry and the Elite destroying TK 😮 Shad cameo helped sell the angle.

Always enjoy Daily's Place shows. Record number of women's segments in the 1st hour. Shame about the audio issues.

Finally had the time to watch Danielson vs Ospreay, definitely my match of the year so far!

Both are tremendously talented inside the ring, their maneuvers looked great and legit, the match told a story, they sold each other attacks, and the crowd was hot af in the final minutes. Bravo!!

Tony Khan on NFL Network: “We are like the Pepsi of pro wrestling. We’re up against a really evil juggernaut. WWE is our competitor, that’s who we’re facing. AEW, like the Pepsi of pro wrestling. WWE is like the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling... I’m really proud of what we do down here...”

How ridiculous this man is is really unbelievable, what is he, 11 years old? Doesn't he have a non-imaginary friend to give him some advice on how to behave? Imagine how embarrassed you must feel to have someone like that as your boss lol a brat who never grew up

He really shouldn't talk about s--- like this.

Maybe there are people who memory holed it already, but the Kylie Rae allegations still need your response to the situation, Tony. He shouldn't even try to act like he has the moral high ground on this.

Urgh. Using those sorts of references are despicable, especially the same week your reference is back in the news for getting one of his very real convictions overturned. If he had said it about the WWE's previous owner, I'd be more forgiving because that monster can rightfully be compared to a fellow monster but brandishing the whole company with the same brush is unforgivable. Like GooverDan has already pointed out, it's not like his own hands are entirely clean either. Not only with the Kylie Rae allegations, but also the allegations surrounding Chris Jericho and the way he's seemingly ignored them too. Also, he can't pretend it was a "promo" and he was "in character" because isn't he supposed to be the sympathetic baby face who just got attacked right now? It's just horrendous.

And furthermore, it also stokes the tribalism which is a cancer on the sport. Why not just allow wrestling fans to enjoy wrestling without making it 'us against them'? It's tiring.

TK makes it more difficulty every week to defend him.

Problem we now have is the tribalism has gotten so bad that even a fan of AEW or WWE can't make any criticism of the company they like without the feral diehards having psychotic breaks and nuclear meltdowns. Social Media is just an absolute cesspool with these toxic trolls. The ECW fans may have been rabid back in the day, but even they had more class than certain modern fans have been showing on social media lately with their disgusting comments.

Some AEW and WWE "fans" are killing other fans interest as they are not allowed to suggest that they did not like even 5 minutes of a 2 hour show or they are bullied and harassed by these scumbags to the point they don't feel comfortable talking about wrestling at all. That is why the tribalism nonsense needs to stop. There's nothing wrong with a bit of friendly joking around but there also needs to be mutual respect that people will like what they want and have different opinions. Unfortunately many people nowadays think having an opinion is the same as having a personality and I tend to give those people a wide berth as you may as well shout at pigeons in Trafalgar Square.

Anyway... I'm going to go back to celebrating Derbys promotion!!!! 😁

I've only watched wrestling intermittently for the past six or seven years now and every time I think about really getting back into it, the (apologies for the twitter lingo here) stans and antis remind me that it's not even worth having an opinion on wrestling anymore. For as long as I've been a fan, there's always been that "Wrestling is garbage now, nothing like it was back in my day!", but now there's just a perpetual persecution complex with the loudest of fans that I don't even want to be associated.

The sexual trafficking lawsuit is against the WWE as a company, not just Vince McMahon. Honestly I'm quite surprised that people are so ready to buy into the narrative that it's suddenly a 'new WWE' just because Vince is gone, there are still a lot of questions to be answered about who knew what when, and about the overall culture of the place. Not to mention their other shady business practices, notably taking huge sums from the Saudi regime for sportswashing.

Of course, AEW is hardly spotless and Tony Khan shouldn't have used this opportunity to mention it in such a tacky way, but let's not diminish that the substance of the allegations has serious complications for WWE with or without McMahon, and that's largely been ignored by many fans and the media.

I also think that the comment was a direct dig at Nick Khan, who was a senior agent at CAA who have been accused of supplying women to Weinstein.

I don’t think TK is that subtle. He should have at least not moved his neck in the neck brace, but that’s just par for the course.

You see, that's the thing. Nobody is diminishing or treating the allegations of WWE like they're a less thing. But the problem is that Tony Khan have the nerve to talk about it when he has problems in that nature on his own, not at the level on what Vince McMahon and WWE as a whole is accused, but they're still serious problems to deal.

All of the allegations against Don Callis, Chris Jericho and bringing Ric Flair is not a good look on AEW either, and the fact that he's radio silent about it is even worse. He is the LAST person that should bluff about things like these when he has problems like that in his own company.

- Swerve already calling out the Elite.

- BCG (c) vs Top Flight Action was solid. Pandemic callback was funny.

- Fenix vs Beast Mortos was good.

- Rush squash was OK.

- Solid do-over promo from Deeb. Not-Lexy interviewer doing a decent job.

- Anna vs Toni was good. Mariah & Nigel were entertaining as well.

- Grizzled Young Vets vs Acclaimed was good but the wrong team won. Best Acclaimed match in a long time thanks to GYV. Castor needs to drop the juvenile sex jokes.

- Claudio vs Swerve (c) was my MOTN.

- Trent vs Chuck was good.

- Rosa vs Deonna was good. Nice post-match scrap as well.

- Big Bill squash was solid.

- Shibata & Garcia vs STP was good.

Kenny got a huge pop here -- Canada definitely loves him. Hope when he comes back AEW runs some big Canadian shows with Kenny on top.

Jack Perry is the wrong guy to put in that main event slot. He doesn't have the size or skills for this sort of spotlight -- even worse, AEW seems intent on pushing Jack as a physical threat, something Perry definitely isn't.

Really think Jack should've never left the Jungle Boy persona behind -- it was a good fit for him and really hid Perry's limitations.

Perry also should really consider hitting the gym and putting on some muscle to enhance his heel persona. He's scrawny and even a thick jean jacket can't hide that well.

Okada's probably the strongest member both on the mic and in the ring in The Elite. Hope we see more of him and less of The Bucks & Perry.

An AEW Omega-Okada match would really get everyone invested even this late in their careers.

- Technical difficulties and iron-clad contracts lol. GOAT intro.
- Father of the Year! Good beatdown and promo.
- Copeland (c) vs Matthews was solid. Started off slow and went too long after Buddy started spitting blood.
- Joe vs Zay was solid. Couple of fun spots.
- Nice to see Skye get a promo.
- The Best Friends feud is escalating quickly. Don is a vulture. First scapegoat promo.
- Jericho (c) vs Shibata was good and creative. Smart follow-up to the Bill storyline. Pucks > tacks.
- Claudio vs Cage was good.
- Mariah vs Deeb was my MOTN.
- Cope is fine...
- Kenny with full intro! As someone dealing with chronic health issues I have huge sympathy for him and can't blame him for not wanting to give up wrestling. It was also one of his best promos because he was keeping it real instead of hamming it up. Kenny/Okada face-off was awesome. The Elite are sick bastards.

- White vs Dante was good. Belt rack lol.
- Deonna works better as a heel.
- Kyle vs Rocky was good.
- Skye vs Willow (c) was my MOTN but the Triller feed ended before the last spot. Had to youtube it.

Solid 3 hours. Shame the crowd sounded half asleep.
