to4sty
I don’t ready many (actually any) modern day stuff and I’m not as active on the boards as I once was so forgive me if I miss a few shows here and there but I’m looking forward to see what you can do. I’m trying to watch a bit more current day stuff (thanks AEW and Powerrrrrrrrrrrr) but there’s a good chance a lot of these are going to be pure guesses because I’m not that up to date on current WWE.....so with that being said..... 'Psycho Killer' Tommaso Ciampa [vs] 'Tranquillo' Andrade w/ Zelina Vega I don’t know who the other guy is, but Ciampa I like. Hopefully he gets a good shot going forward and he should be fun to write Becky Lynch and Carmella [vs] Bayley and Lacey Evans Shot in the dark. I know Becky was hot for a minute but I think Bayley is on a bit of a resurgence now right? And they must be hot on Lacy Evans to have stuck her on the Saudi show Shelton Benjamin and ?? [vs] The Revival I don’t normally bet against the squiggles but I like an old-school team like the Reval Ali [vs] 'The Best Kept Secret' Buddy Murphy I’ve seen Ali recently, he’s good.....the other guy must really be the best kept secret because I have no idea who he is RAW Tag Team Title Match: Hawkins and Ryder © [vs] The OC (Gallows and Anderson) Good for the Edgeheads winning the gold in 2019 but the tag team division can benefit a lot more by having credible champs....that and I like the OC at the minute, love a good stable 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman [vs] 'The Drifter' Elias Man, I love Elias.....seriously, he’s great and actually has a character which is few and far between in the WWE, but he ain’t winning here. Braun is a funny one. A Monster Among Men but they’ve managed to turn him into a bit player who never wins the big one.....Babyface Monsters are hard to book effectively if they never win the big matches I guess

Braun is a funny one. A Monster Among Men but they’ve managed to turn him into a bit player who never wins the big one.....Babyface Monsters are hard to book effectively if they never win the big matches I guess Since you indicated you didn't know Andrade and Buddy I thought I'd post a couple of clips and give some info because if you don't know those two guys you are probably missing out on two of the WWE's best in ring performers. So Andrade is formerly known as La Sombra and is managed by Zelina Vega who was Thea Trinidad in IMPACT. He's dating Charlotte Flair (Zelina married Toony End/Aleistair Black). Andrade is probably best described as Alberto Del Rio (Dos Caras Jr) without the personality issues. He's got a remendous skill-set and a great look. He's had a couple of great matches with Rey Mysterio and has a massive upside. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIiWEuvfIl8" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> As for Buddy Murphy, he's been around for a long time. He may or may not be still dating Alexa Bliss (stories on that vary - they are still super tight either way). For a long time he looked like just a NXT also ran until Triple H got control of 205 live. Murphy has a real life personality not unlike Xavier Woods - he was one of NXT's Locker room leader forever organising fun activities and keeping everyone happy and he was probably not cut due to his extremely positive effect backstage. Trips brought him up to 205 Live (despite him being obviously over that size) and ran an angle with him always trying to get down to the weight. He then went on a great run of matches where he rapidly got the rep as possibly the best worker in the company. His feud with Ali was magnificent and the two have the kind of chemistry that comes along very rarely. Murphy has had a few good showings on the Main Roster and beat Daniel Bryan clean on Smackdown not too long ago. His drawback is that he's a fairly subdued promo worker - not uncharismatic so much as restrained. In terms of in ring Ali & Murphy is probably the best potential main roster matchup the WWE can offer - I know that sounds like hyperbole but it's really not because every match they have had has been truly enjoyable thanks to their natural chemistry - these two can work a 5 or 6 minute match together and make it feel like an epic. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9egfFVQesJ8" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9z31EL8wLo" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> For some reason these aren't showing in frame but if you click open in a new window it will take you to the matches on youtube if you are interested. Turns out I do know who Buddy Murphy is, I remember the tag team in NXT with Alexa, that was about the last time I was watching semi regularly. I certainly wouldn’t have recognised him though otherwise. As for the other guy, looks like he’s worth checking out for his manager alone.....Yowie Wowie. Thanks for the cliff notes, I’m probably going to check out a bit more of his stuff from NXT, looks like he had a decent run there
The Lloyd
The One Star Bandit is out I've done my usual, and countered it by rating my own work with Five Stars Completely agree about Andrade and Murphy. I've got plans to give Murphy a bit more of a character. Andrade is a tricky one. Zelina's influence will be hard to write I think, and I'd love to do a Black/Vega vs Andrade/Charlotte feud... I think that could be cool. Keep the predictions coming.

The Lloyd
That feud could be epic. I've always had a soft spot for Thea - her tragic history is something I can relate too. Murphy is a strange one because in real life he's thoroughly charming and likeable but his promo work is restrained and he has one of those heel faces so he's tough to get over - the ring work though is fantastic. Assuming you mean the 9/11 stuff? Very tragic, and she seems like such a wonderful person from interviews and behind the scenes stuff that I've seen. I think Murphy and Andrade are in the same boat when it comes to being charming and likeable but just having a face you want to punch! They'd make a great, nasty heel, tag team. Thank you all for the predictions. It always feels strange starting a new project. But I hope you like it
The Lloyd
DECEMBER 2019, WEEK 1… Show Rating: 75 Announce Team: Vic Joseph, Jerry Lawler and Dio Maddin A New Era 'The Man' Seth Rollins kicked off the first show of the new era, by stomping to the ring, ready to 'Burn It Down'!! Seth Rollins: “Yu know... this wasn't the plan guys... I was supposed to come out here, each and every week, as YOUR Universal Champion... Right up until I have to take some time away to film this movie... After that... I would come back and beat whoever is Champion... And now... When I come back, I'll have to go through 'The Fiend'!!” At that moment, Bray Wyatt appeared on the screen at his Firefly Fun House!! He was talking to the Universal Championship Belt!! Bray said that it shouldn't worry, because it would be staying with him for a long time!! He then smiled at the camera as if he didn't know it was there... Bray Wyatt: “Oh! Hi Seth! (sound effect as he waves)... You sure look mad... Did someone take your favourite toy...?! It's okay... Why don't you play with one of my friends next week...?! You... In the ring... with my friend Braun Strowman!!” Seth looked at the ground... The last thing he needs right now is a match against 'The Monster Among Men'!! <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ 'Psycho Killer' Tommaso Ciampa [vs] 'Tranquillo' Andrade w/ Zelina Vega Tommaso Ciampa put Andrade away on his RAW debut here. Ending it after eight minutes of great action with his 'Fairy Tale Ending'. 62 Winner: 'Psycho Killer' Tommaso Ciampa Finish: 'Fairy Tale Ending' (Double underhook sit-out facebuster) </div> Tomorrow is a New Day Kofi Kingston hasn't been himself since losing the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar on the debut of Friday Night Smackdown on Fox!! Xavier Woods: “Kofi, Kofi, Kofi... You gotta get your smile back, man!! I know Brock beat you for the WWE Title... But your career is just getting started... You're at the top of your game... and tomorrow, is a NEW DAY!!” AJ Styles and the rest of The OC walked up, and laughed at the New Day... Especially Kofi... AJ had his United States Title with him... AJ Styles: “Don't worry Kofi... I'm sure you'll get your 'smile' back soon... As for us, we're gonna smile real big, when we continue our collection of Championships... As Anderson and Gallows go up against Hawkins and Ryder, for the RAW Tag Team Titles... TONIGHT!!” AJ poked Kofi verbally, and then bumped him with his shoulder as he walked past... To which Kofi responded by jumping Styles from behind!! A six man fight broke out, which nobody from the New Day was expecting... Big E in particular was eating multiple pancakes when it started!! The OC came out on top, and the New Day were left laying... Big Luke Gallows was the difference maker for the team... <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Becky Lynch and Carmella [vs] Bayley and Lacey Evans Bayley and Lacey Evans cheated throughout this match, before Lacey put Carmella down with her 'Women's Right'. 74 Winners: Bayley and Lacey Evans Finish: 'Women's Right' (big right hand) </div> The Carolina Caveman We saw a promo video package next, hyping the impending arrival to RAW of 'The Carolina Caveman' Cameron Grimes!! The 26 year old had a great showing in the NXT Breakout Tournament earlier this year, and will now be appearing on RAW going forward... No news on a date for his debut just yet... But WWE officials are thought to be high on him... Shelton's Search for a New Partner Speaking of NXT Breakout Tournament competitors, Shelton Benjamin brought out another one next... Hoping that Jordan Myles could be his new partner!! <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Shelton Benjamin and Jordan Myles [vs] The Revival Jordan Myles had a good showing, but he was the man pinned following a 'Shatter Machine' from The Revival. 64 Winners: The Revival Finish: 'Shatter Machine' </div> The Search Continues Shelton Benjamin pulled Jordan Myles up to his feet, and patted the young Cruiserweight on the back... But the pat turned into a bit of a harder pat... and it soon became apparent that Shelton was being a bit rough with his partner... Shelton's jovial expression soon turned to anger, and he grabbed Myles, before sending him flying with a German Suplex!! Shelton didn't stop there, he hit two more Germans, and then hit 'Pay Dirt' to put Myles down for the night... King Of RAW In the back, the King Of The Ring Baron Corbin was boasting to EC3 about his crown, robe and scepter... But a group walked up who were less than impressed with Corbin, and his boasting... The Viking Raiders, Erik and Ivar, along with their newest member Sarah Logan, scoffed at Corbin... Sarah Logan: “If we wanted to... we could TAKE your 'King' stuff right now... It's been a while since we went on a RAID...” Erik and Ivar looked menacing, and Corbin and EC3 backed away... Corbin then shoved EC3 into the Viking Raiders and ran!! EC3 begged for mercy, and the three Viking Raiders decided it was the right time to show some... EC3 was allowed to live... but he looked petrified!! <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Ali [vs] 'The Best Kept Secret' Buddy Murphy Both of these men hit some exciting, high-flying offence. The announce team weren't sure who was inside it... and then this man climbed out...!! 'The Man Of The Hour', and the WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Lio Rush stood up, chest out, with a big grin on his face... Lio Rush: “Monday... Night... RAW... It's about... damn... time!! The 'Man Of The Hour' is HERE... Ahh I'm looking forward to getting to know my new Cruiserweight rivals here on RAW... Guys like Ali and Buddy Murphy, who I just watched have an incredible match, from my limo...” Rush name dropped Jack Gallagher... Joaquin Wilde... Humberto Carrillo... and Jordan Myles... Ariyah Daivari walked up to Rush, and got in his face... Telling him he forgot someone VERY important... Daivari said that HE was officially on Monday Night RAW... and he wants to fight Rush next week...!! Rush smiled, and gladly accepted the challenge... Plenty Of Fights In a darkened, smoky room somewhere, Aleister Black was sat on a chair on his own... Aleister Black: “I've been on RAW for two months... And still... Nobody wants to FIGHT me... But at the Royal Rumble... 29 MEN... won't have a CHOICE... Because I am officially the first name in the hat... and the first confirmed entrant, in the Royal Rumble Match!!” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ Hawkins and Ryder © [vs] The OC (Anderson and Gallows) w/ AJ Styles The OC were in total control until the New Day hit the ring. Tommaso Ciampa [def.] Andrade Bayley and Lacey Evans [def.] Becky Lynch and Carmella The Revival [def.] Shelton Benjamin and Jordan Myles Ali [def.] Buddy Murphy Hawkins and Ryder [def.] The OC to RETAIN the RAW Tag Team Titles Braun Strowman [def.] Elias Nothing to report news wise, but I will just do a quick analysis of the first show of my FOURTH (wow) WWE Diary... Couple of notable things to point out... That Main Event sucked... To be honest, Smackdown are the only show that have consistently been pulling good overall ratings. And by that, I mean 86+. Their Main Event is stacked, and I need to make sure NXT and RAW keep up for in-game purposes. RAW have been doing a lot better than a 69 in the Main Event though! I notice things about my booking, and WWE's booking all the time, and I'm going to use this forum for a moan... Why do the WWE continue to book weekly shows as one off stories?! Nothing continues to the next week, and nothing about next week is hyped on the previous show! NXT is booked so well in that respect, and the way I do things mirrors NXT more. So this week, I've set up two matches for next week: Seth vs Braun, and Lio Rush's RAW debut. The way WWE do things is to tell a four week story in one night like they did with Humberto Carrillo in his first week on RAW. (which just happened for me, but by the time you'll be reading this, will be a while ago). Humberto watched a match... Then got interviewed and mentioned Seth Rollins... Then had a conversation with Seth backstage, and they agreed to a match... Then they had a match... All in the same night! Why? Probably because RAW is three hours long. But I would have told that story over three or four weeks. Built the anticipation for Humberto's debut, and then made him a star. Anyway. Rant over. Would love to know your thoughts on the show

'Mr. 619' Rey Mysterio [vs] Mike Kanellis Montez Ford w/ Angelo Dawkins [vs] 'The Archer Of Infamy' Damian Priest Kacy Catanzao [vs] Sonya Deville Breezango [vs] Technique (Cezar Bononi and Arturo Ruas) w/ Taynara Conti The Brian Kendrick [vs] Drew Gulak Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor [vs] Samoa Joe and Cesaro Tough card to pick -Mysterio, Deville, The Fashion Police are all obvious just on pop but the other 3 could go either way as Balor can get a win over his opponents (I doubt either would be okay jobbing to Johnny just yet). I went with the Street Profit due to their upside and the fact that Priest is really a midcard gatekeeper and Gulak because he's more likely to be around for a while than BK who is really near the end of his career at this point. He’s not winning regardless here Montez Ford w/ Angelo Dawkins [vs] 'The Archer Of Infamy' Damian Priest The tag team star shouldn’t be going over the singles, not unless there’s a partner waiting in the wings Kacy Catanzao [vs] Sonya Deville I don’t know who the opponent is Breezango [vs] Technique (Cezar Bononi and Arturo Ruas) w/ Taynara Conti Again, don’t know the opponents The Brian Kendrick [vs] Drew Gulak Kendrick must be winding down by now Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor [vs] Samoa Joe and Cesaro
