HEADLINES FROM DECEMBER!

FREEDOM Caribbean Wrestling has seen a great rise in popularity down in Puerto Rico, enough that they've officially been classed a 'Regional' company and are now looking to expand into other U.S. regions. They've begun doing so by signing loads of new talent, including Regular Joe, Jules Night, Justice Jolson, Jeremy Finch (aka Scout in TCW), Ricochet Ramone, Desert Storm, Mercutio Sleep and Brendan Idol. We wish the wrestlers, and the company, the best of luck for future success.

In other company news; ZEN: Art Of Wrestling also grew to becoming a 'regional' ranked company after a surge in popularity in its home region of New Zealand. They have yet to make any noteworthy moves in terms of worker signings or expansion plans.

Sad news in December; as the only death of the year happened in the form of a tragic accident in Australia. Crazy Train (an Australian independent worker, of former-RAW popularity) was out skydiving when his parachute did not work correctly... you can infer what happened to him. He was only 30 years old.

NHb2tSq.jpg

Welsh worker Red Dragon (Ian Davies) was majorly injured in the last week of December in a match against Marcello Ricci at UEW Demonology. The 38 year old is expected to miss at least 6 months of action while he recovers.

Big news for TCW fans came over the course of December as the company announced it had released veteran hands Joel Bryant and Jason Azaria, both men having their contracts expire. It is unclear why TCW was perhaps foolish enough to let the two veteran hands go, but it is understandable as both men were beginning to outlive their on-screen usefulness.

YAk9w9Y.jpgpKbnPhW.jpg

Known-Scumbag Mark Carnie was at it again in December, as at SNP's December Show (SNP Christmas Chaos 2016), Carnie was allegedly 'Sexually Harassing' female valet "Kitty Katz". She quit the promotion as soon as the show ended and it is unknown whether or not she will take it to court.. (as she probably should).

Xkp92yn.jpgkysJxAX.jpg

Small news, but news nonetheless, as popular Mexican valet Gabriela Ortega and small-time American referee Lois Hudson both announced their return to active roles within the industry. They've both begun accepting bookings and though it is unclear if any companies have made any moves on either woman.

Christopher Ball has begun training for his awaited Mix Martial Arts fight! We wish him luck and hope he can pull out a victory!

Retirements in three corners of the world this past month, as veteran Japanese star Shotaro Ikina finally hung up his boots, as well as European competitor Bigger Dan Ewe and Australian brawler "Drifting" Dom Drago.

keNdJpL.jpg

Following his retirement, Bigger Dan Ewe has opened up his own wrestling school, aptly named the Bigger Dan Ewe Training School. It is based in the Iberia region. Nobody expects quality wrestlers to come from it.

NGuSZuj.jpg

Long-serving PGHW vet Shingen "Danger" Kumasaka was released from the company in December 2016, the 62 year old seeming to have outlived his usefulness. He has not been spotted working a match yet, and it's likely he'll retire here soon.

FyN4opS.jpg

Shuji Inukai became the new PGHW dojo Head Trainer last month, with the Japanese legend looking to lend his hand into creating quality young lions for PGHW.

JY4dCSI.jpg2XEwE8a.jpg

Japanese veterans and tag-team legends Chuichi Sanda and Eiji Hamacho were inducted into the BHOTWG Hall Of Fame this past month, following Hamacho's November 2016 retirement. Sanda still works matches, albeit solo. This feat just solidifies the two men as respected figures in all of Japanese wrestling.

<p><strong>Stan "The Man" Manna</strong> Vs. Austin Smooth</p><p> </p><p>

Stan keeps his tag-team relevant by continuing to be effextive in solo bouts. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jack Avatar</strong> Vs. Ricochet Ramone</p><p> </p><p>

Imagine the upset, but Ricochet for all his value in the future isn't there yet. </p><p> </p><p>

The Good Ol' Boys Vs. <strong>The Heartbreak Express w/ Sweet Tabitha</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The young guys are built too strong as a tag-team at this stage. </p><p> </p><p>

Melvin Otto & Ben Williams Vs. <strong>Samael The Accuser</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Normally not a fan of one man going over two, as it makes the other two look pathetic. In this case they are. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cameron Jones</strong> Vs. Cal Sanders</p><p> </p><p>

Sanders is a midcard guy who has been doing the job. So unless he is getting some momentum to do his job he losers. Jones' partner will be losing to the Champ and get a rub just by showing up to that match, so Jones keeps the tag-team stocks about even..</p><p> </p><p>

Syd Collier Vs. <strong>Riley McManus w/ Streetz</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Champ continues to get built up as his challengers set to face one another. </p><p> </p><p>

Brendan Idol Vs. Harry Allen Vs. California Love Machine Vs. <strong>Danny Rushmore</strong></p><p>

NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE #1 CONTENDERS BOUT</p><p> </p><p>

CLM had his shot last week, Allen isn't ready to get back in the title race just yet. Idol isnt there yet as far as a Main Event guy and Rushmore came in last week looking like a monster. So have to go with Rushmore.</p>

NEW ENGLAND WRESTLING PRESENTS: KICKOFF FOR THE NEW YEAR 2017!

694 Fans at The Skid Row Club, New England

We finally got a 'name' place to hold an event at. Good. Hopefully that'll help improve our credibility as a company. Nothing going on backstage, so we got ourselves underway.

OPENING BOUT:

STAN "THE MAN" MANNA VS. AUSTIN SMOOTH

gpmtDrD.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpg0oVmkjU.jpg

A back and forth bout between two good looking, snobby heels to start off the show. Smooth was the inexperienced rookie but he showed that he had a lot to offer, ensuring Manna wasn't able to hold complete control over him at all during the bout. Manna capitalized on a mistake made by Smooth - showboating too much, and took the match for himself and ended it after about 11 minutes with a Rockin' Roller.

WINNER: STAN "THE MAN" MANNA

RATING: xo3fH3p.jpg

Nice bout to start off the show. Manna and Smooth are both very good wrestlers and I wish to see them succeed elsewhere. I hope I can be the one to launch them to greater heights in the industry. After all, NEW has managed to get three guys close to the big leagues in just one year.. so surely we can do it again, right?

LOWER MIDCARD BOUT:

JACK AVATAR VS. RICOCHET RAMONE

4aHgMXT.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgWGZqerd.jpg

Avatar exploded out the gate, as did Ramone. Ramone went for a dropkick to start off, but Avatar caught him by the legs and he hit the mat hard as Avatar began to tie him up. Ramone was able to squirm away and get back to his feet - but it was a fruitless effort as Avatar was all over him. A majority of the match went this way, although Ramone did get some decent offense in at various points throughout the match. Avatar carried the bout with his performance, one of the best performances I've seen out of the youngster. He finished off Ramone with an All American Slam at about the 7 minute mark.

WINNER: JACK AVATAR

RATING: xo3fH3p.jpg

Roughly same quality as the first match, albeit a more one-sided one. The fans were getting hotter though, which is always good.

LOWER MIDCARD BOUT:

THE GOOD OL' BOYS VS. THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS w/ SWEET TABITHA

B0og2oI.jpgbwDN2JI.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgzPwNMyB.jpg6KIrqtp.jpg w/ FiX7jht.jpg

The bout started off the same as most with the Boys - they come flying out the gate with heavy offense and big power moves, flooring their much smaller opponents. This continued for several minutes before Johnny Needham managed to weasel away from Thimbleby Langton and use his smaller stature to out-maneuver the big man. Langton eventually just tagged out to Fitzpaine, and Fitzpaine floored Needham with a big clothesline. He kept this up for several minutes before Needham made a hot tag to Liotta as Fitzpaine tagged Langton back in. Langton hit Liotta with a big boot and was looking to finish off the match - lifting Liotta high up in the air for a body slam when Liotta leaped up out of Langton's arms and managed to nail him with The Score, ending the match at around 10 minutes.

WINNERS: THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS

RATING: 9BkRvPs.jpg

Match got a decent reaction from the crowd, but everybody was a little off in someway or another. Whatever. The next bout got underway.

MIDCARD BOUT:

MELVIN OTTO & BEN WILLIAMS VS. SAMAEL THE ACCUSER

99hnlqA.jpgunFgGe5.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgxJQC0Tg.jpg

Samael destroyed both men equally, with little to no discrimination in how he went about doing it. Williams was especially destroyed though, as he was much smaller than the other two men and didn't stand a chance against Samael. Samael beat up Melvin a little, leaving him down and out and then finished off Williams with his trademark Poison of God finisher in about 5-and-a-half minutes.

WINNER: SAMAEL THE ACCUSER

RATING: IeKsCa9.jpg

ANGLE #1:

THE TORMENT OF THE VICTIM

xJQC0Tg.jpgunFgGe5.jpg

Samael lingered menacingly in the ring, hovering over the down-and-out Ben Williams. He knelt down beside Ben and patted him on the head, then traced his fingers down the back of the smaller man. He abruptly stopped about halfway down and then stood up, grabbing Williams as he did this. He hoisted Williams over his shoulder and carried him to the outside of the venue. During this, Melvin Otto was beginning to regain his mobility, standing up at ringside. Samael got outside and laid Ben down in front of a pit. He looked up at the night sky and then back down at Ben, and did a sort of praying motion before coldly kicking Ben down into the pit. Melvin watched from ringside in horror (as this was played on a video screen in the venue, caught by a brave cameraman.) Samael then turned to the camera and pointed, remaining motionless, then big black text showed onto the screen 'You're next.', and then the screen went to static, then faded to black. Melvin ran backstage in fear.

RATING: YEsM5NU.jpg

Good way to get the crowd invested in Samael without risking the stability of my bigger stars. This upcoming mini-feud of sorts should hopefully put the menacing psychopath on the radar of the fans.

MIDCARD BOUT:

CAMERON JONES VS. CAL SANDERS

eHDrrIZ.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgwG8omPG.jpg

A good back and forth bout between veteran and young upstart. Neither really able to take control, the bout dragged on for about 6 minutes before the pace began to pick up, with Sanders starting to pull some cruiserweight aerial attacks out of his arsenal to try and gain the upperhand over Jones. Unfortunately, Jones could see right through Sanders' front and avoided most of the flashy aerial moves, before grabbing Sanders and hitting him with a fantastic Fisherman's Suplex for the finish.

WINNER: CAMERON JONES

RATING: mrOufB2.jpg

ANGLE #2:

ALLEN'S PREPARATIONS!

28UMtHj.jpg

The camera cut to Harry Allen, who was in the back preparing for the upcoming four-way number one contenders bout.

Harry: "Gonna win it, Harry. Gonna reclaim the gold, aren't ya?" Harry slapped himself a few times.

???: "Better make sure your head is in the game."

Harry: "Yeah... hey, wait a se-" Harry went ton turn around but the unknown figure grabbed him and threw him headfirst into a nearby locker.

H8afULw.jpg

Danny Rushmore viciously attacked Allen, slamming him into lockers, benches, vending machines and even the catering table. He left Allen bruised and battered as various venue staff, referees and paramedics came to separate the two men. Rushmore spit on Allen and then left. Allen was now in no condition to compete in the four-way, now making the match a three way.

RATING: D7xi6Ur.jpg

UPPER MIDCARD BOUT:

SYD COLLIER VS. RILEY MCMANUS w/ STREETZ

LxUmW7w.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgJwElApK.jpg w/ OFmOpfs.jpg

A great match in which Collier surprisingly managed to hold his own against the champ. McManus tried his hardest to bully the young tag champ into submission, but Collier just didn't back down. The match went on longer than McManus would've probably liked, and Collier landed a few too many hits for McManus' liking, but McManus was able to take the upperhand when Streetz distracted Collier, allowing McManus to surprise him with a Slingshot Suplex for the victory after about 12 minutes.

WINNER: RILEY MCMANUS

RATING: Kv0AR3C.jpg

Good match to set up for the main event. Collier looked strong and McManus came out looking like a weasel champ, good. That's what he's supposed to be. He needs the heat to stay relevant, and Streetz is fantastic at helping him generate heat.

MAIN EVENT:

BRENDAN IDOL VS. CALIFORNIA LOVE MACHINE VS. DANNY RUSHMORE

THREE WAY #1 CONTENDERSHIP BOUT FOR NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

NbKrOwB.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgvkWB9av.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgH8afULw.jpg

If you tried to say Danny Rushmore didn't dominate in this match, you'd be a terrible liar. Rushmore cleaned the floor with the two smaller cruiserweights, and did so for about 7 minutes straight. It was like he couldn't decide which one he really wanted to pin. He finally decided his target was California Love Machine, flooring him with an Atomic boot before pinning him for the victory. This was Rushmore's proof that he was nothing to mess with here in NEW, and that he was here for a reason.

WINNER: DANNY RUSHMORE (NEW #1 CONTENDER FOR WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE)

Decent show to start off the new year. I think this show is a perfect example of what NEW fans have to look forward to. Maybe not quality-wise, but definitely story-wise.

Date: Monday, Week 1, February 2017

HEADLINES FROM JANUARY!

RPuUUdV.jpgcgvEgeL.jpg

United States Pro Wrestling scored some big wins over both Total Championship Wrestling and North Of The Border Pro Wrestling this past month, signing both Jay Chord and Tim Westybrook after some intense bidding wars.

yqhkKfY.jpg

Rick Law shocked many fans in January, as when his contract came up for renewal with USPW, he rejected their extension offer and instead opted to sign with South Of The Border Pro Wrestling in Mexico, presumably on a big money deal.

Iji3CSh.jpgs49MLMN.jpg

Pro Wrestling lost two family members in January, as both Harrison Hash and Keiji Takeda tragically lost their lives during the past month. Harrison Hash unfortunately fell into an open shark tank at a local aquarium, subsequently being eaten alive, and Takeda was killed in a tragic gardening accident (details of the accident were not made public). It was truly a sad month.

FfI8jIN.jpgFjDGJST.jpg

Congratulations to Yasuhide Tayama and Shotaro Ikina, as in January the two men were inducted into the GCG Hall of Fame for their accomplishments in the tag team division following Ikina's retirement from active competition in December.

j1K98Ax.jpgqELZzVp.jpg3QTUkmT.jpg8val0kL.jpgw4rnAYp.jpg

Retirement claimed even more careers in January, as Mary Beth Chase, Carol Singer, Takeshi Umehara, Psycho and Krusher Karloff all hung up their boots and called it quits on their respective careers. We wish them luck in their post in-ring careers.

Predictions list:

Austin Smooth Vs. Remmy Honeyman

This is a toss up, but I think Remmy was bought in to lose more than he was to win.

Samael The Accuser Vs. Melvin Otto

Building a monster he won a 2 v 1, he should do the same to Otto and take him away after this.

Stan "The Man" Manna Vs. Cal Sanders

Poor Cal Sanders at this point he is the feeder to the Upper midcard.

The Heartbreak Express w/ Sweet Tabitha Vs. The Dynamite Express

If Liotta & Needham win, they receive a 2nd title shot!

As below (Because I do my predictions from the top down.) You prefer to have people lose this match, but you are sort of spinning the wheels in the tag-team division until Rock City Stars are back.

Jack Avatar Vs. Brendan Idol

If Idol Wins, He receives a title shot next month!

Okay, I know you hate to give the title shots away, but Idol deserves one and could do well to topple Jack. Who at this point need an actual challenge for his title.

Riley McManus w/ Streetz Vs. California Love Machine

CLM has lost before, and while on the edge of the ME isn't toppling the champion.

Harry Allen Vs. Danny Rushmore

"True" #1 WHC Contenders Bout

I love Allen, but he got beat down last week and Danny Rushmore is the biggest threat on the block. He should continue his monster push here as Allen continues his spiral before being built up again.

NEW ENGLAND WRESTLING PRESENTS: YOUTH GONE WILD 2017

710 Fans at The Skid Row Club, New England

We were setting things up backstage when a familiar voice filled the back.

BOkf9Tb.jpg

ROCKIN' RYAN TURNER

"Yoooo! Guess who's back!" Turner stepped into the back. "And guess what?" Everyone looked at him. He whipped around with a big grin on his face and cases of drinks in both arms. The locker room erupted into cheers and laughs, as the boys shouted happily at the arrival of Turner and his drinks. I stepped forward, cutting off Streetz, who was headed towards the cases.

"Drinks are for AFTER the show, boys. Now go out there and earn 'em!" I shouted, turning the boys away. They cheered, but quieter than they did for Turner. I smiled. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jack Avatar and Danny Rushmore talking - Danny had just taken him under his wing as a protege of sorts. Good for Jack.

OPENING BOUT:

AUSTIN SMOOTH VS. REMMY HONEYMAN

0oVmkjU.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgfM9VwWs.jpg

The match started and the two technically gifted wrestlers met in the center of the ring, making the chain wrestling look easy as hell. Smooth took control, picking Honeyman up and hitting him with a German Suplex, although he wasn't able to keep the momentum for long, as Honeyman came back at him with an agile counterattack, trying to confuse Smooth. Unfortunately, this tactic only worked for a few minutes before Smooth was firmly back in control. It stayed like this, and then finally after about 12 minutes of the back-and-forth action, Austin Smooth put Remmy Honeyman away via submission with his trademark Smooth Hold.

WINNER: AUSTIN SMOOTH

RATING: Z9gUr7W.jpg

A decent enough match to start the night off with, though I can say I expected a little bit better out of the two youngsters. Either way, the crowd were now excited for the rest of the card, which is a good thing, as it means Smooth and Honeyman did their jobs right.

LOWER MIDCARD BOUT:

SAMAEL THE ACCUSER VS. MELVIN OTTO

xJQC0Tg.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpg99hnlqA.jpg

In a short match, which lasted just over five minutes, Samael The Accuser brutally decimated the self-proclaimed 'New Age Guru Of Mayhem' Melvin Otto with hard-hitting strikes and big, ferocious power slams. He eventually ended the bout with his finishing move, the Poison of God, much to the relief of everyone in attendance.

WINNER: SAMAEL THE ACCUSER

RATING: IeKsCa9.jpg

ANGLE #1:

SAMAEL BURIES HIS NEXT VICTIM...

Similar to what he did last month, Samael drags Otto's limp body out of the venue and out into the parking lot, where he finds a pit - positioned right next to the one he dug last month, and dropped Otto's lifeless body into the pit. He then proceeds to fill in the pit with the dirt that was clearly in it before Otto was.

RATING: 6kIbbBJ.jpg

A pretty average bout that was actually pretty well received by the crowd. Goes to show that knowing how to play your character really helps - and in that regard Samael is killing it out there. The subsequent burial angle only helped to solidify that dark presence of his, something he'll be looking to build upon in the coming months.

LOWER MIDCARD BOUT:

STAN "THE MAN" MANNA VS. CAL SANDERS

gpmtDrD.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgwG8omPG.jpg

The bell rung and they hardly moved from their corners, they were locked eye-to-eye. Cal charged out of his corner and - Bam! he gets floored by a wayward clothesline from Stan Manna. The rest of the bout would proceed like this, with Sanders desperately trying to mount an offensive only for Manna to easily thwart his efforts. Manna won after ten minutes of action and a Rockin' Roller.

WINNER: STAN "THE MAN" MANNA

RATING: mrOufB2.jpg

Decent match from two decent workers. Nothing much else to say, other than Stan looked strong and Cal took another loss.

MIDCARD BOUT:

THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS w/ SWEET TABITHA VS. THE DYNAMITE EXPRESS ©

IF THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS WIN, THEY'LL RECEIVE A FUTURE TAG TITLES OPPORTUNITY!

zPwNMyB.jpg6KIrqtp.jpg w/ FiX7jht.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgeHDrrIZ.jpgLxUmW7w.jpg

The match was good, a well-executed back and forth bout between the rookies. Surprisingly, Syd Collier was looking amazing out there, really working his rear-end off to put on the best match he could. Unfortunately, working that hard wasn't enough as in a major upset, Johnny Needham pinned Collier after hitting The Score at about the twelve minute mark.

WINNERS: THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS

THEY RECEIVE A TITLE SHOT IN THE NEAR FUTURE!

RATING: xo3fH3p.jpg

UPPER MIDCARD BOUT:

JACK AVATAR © VS. BRENDAN IDOL

IF IDOL WINS HE'LL RECEIVE A TITLE SHOT NEXT MONTH!

4aHgMXT.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgNbKrOwB.jpg

Match of the night thus far, with Idol and Avatar going back and forth with escalating viciousness. It was like neither man was truly able to 'checkmate' the other and were sporadically moving around bishops, rooks, etc. to try and gain and edge, but the effort was fruitless. Neither one could take control for very long, but Idol did, and he climbed to the top rope. He leaped from the top as Avatar spun around and caught Idol on his shoulders, turning what was supposed to be a splash into a wicked looking All American Slam. A few seconds later, and Avatar was declared the victor.

WINNER: JACK AVATAR

RATING: UDVbSIQ.jpg

Avatar was shining out there, he performed better than Collier did last match. Truly a future star, a fact which should only be helped by the fact that Danny Rushmore has taken him under his wing.

ANGLE #2:

ALLEN EXPRESSES HIS ANGER!

OF25r1G.jpg28UMtHj.jpg

Allison: "So, my sources tell me you have some.. words for ex-USPW star Danny Rushmore, Mr. Allen. Is this correct?" Allison holds out the mic to Allen. He leans in.

Allen: "Why yes, yes it is," He tips his hat at Allison, pausing. "The fact o' the matter is, that Danny Rushmore? He's nothing more than a filthy coward. He weaseled his way into contention when that spot should rightfully be mine." He pauses once more.

Allen: "Yeah, he couldn't have won that match without taking me out of the picture. Well guess what, Danny boy, you should'a tried harder, 'cause I'm still 'ere and I'll be takin' you down TONIGHT!" He paused as the crowd cheered, it was loud enough even the backstage mics picked it up. Allen snickered. "Yeah, and that's the sound you'll be hearin' as you stare at the lights tonight, because a few bruises.. a few broken bones.. they ain't nothin'." Allen spits at the camera. "They ain't nothin', and nothin' is going to stop me from reclaiming that World Heavyweight title. The Allen train is coming, and you best be ready." He walked away as the screen faded to black.

RATING: qiIEyiS.jpg

UPPER MIDCARD BOUT:

RILEY MCMANUS w/ STREETZ VS. CALIFORNIA LOVE MACHINE

A solid back and forth bout, Riley McManus clashed with the teen-dream known as the California Love Machine, and the two went toe-to-toe before the bout escalated into hard strikes and technical ground games. Unfortunately for CLM, he just wasn't at McManus' level in either of these areas and couldn't keep up with the Arch Competitor. McManus out-witted and out-performed CLM in every way, and that ultimately led to a McManus victory following a Slingshot Suplex at the eleven minute mark.

WINNER: RILEY MCMANUS

RATING: UZzQA1v.jpg

A good co-main event from some top-tier performers on the indy circuit. One of NEW's best matches, possibly ever, and it didn't need the dazzling lights or show-stopping production of the major leagues. Goes to show that wrestling truly is evolving, producing athletically gifted performers with every new generation.

MAIN EVENT BOUT:

HARRY ALLEN VS. DANNY RUSHMORE

"TRUE" WHC #1 CONTENDERS BOUT

28UMtHj.jpgJtlo8Gv.jpgH8afULw.jpg

The match started with each veteran circling the ring, eyeing each other before Rushmore finally made the first move, charging forward with a big boot. Allen ducked underneath it, and was able to take the advantage early on - targeting the bigger man's legs and using his agility to outmaneuver him. The crowd were eating the whole thing up, fanatically cheering and booing. Rushmore was brought down to his knees, Allen then ran the ropes, slingshotting off them and hoping to land a basement dropkick. Rushmore stood up and Allen crashed down onto the canvas. Rushmore picked Allen up pretty much by his throat and began tossing him around like a rag doll, which to Rushmore, he pretty much was a rag doll. Allen had no chance or opening to make a counterattack, but the cheering never stopped for the cruiserweight veteran. Fans cheered for the bruised and battered Allen, as Rushmore relentlessly pounded on him in the corner. Rushmore stopped and turned to the front row, shouting verbal abuse at them about how he's the best thing that ever happened to NEW, and then he turned around. Allen rushed forward out of the corner, the fans going wild, and then - BOOM! Allen ran face-first into a big Atomic Boot from Danny Rushmore, who then had the nerve to simply stand with one foot on the fallen cruiserweight. 1... 2.... 3...! Rushmore spit on Allen, and then left the ring as he was declared the victor.

WINNER: DANNY RUSHMORE

RATING: SLbWP74.jpg

OVERALL SHOW RATING: wUYPa8W.jpg

The best show and Main Event NEW has had yet. A great way to mark off the one-year anniversary of NEW's operations. The boys stuck into the drinks Turner brought, and as the venue cleared out, I had a sense of pride in the boys.. always able to wow me with something new every month and every show. Sometimes I think I'll never be bored with this, and this is one of those times where the feeling is true.

Also, thanks to everyone who predicted, it actually means quite a lot seeing this many (even if its only 7 :p) 'confirmed', so to speak, as being a reader of this. It keeps me motivated seeing what others have to say, and as always, any feedback is welcomed!
