Wait until you see one of our new promotions. It includes a chicken robot from the future. (Honestly, I'm not kidding on that one!)

Your brainstorming sessions must be intriguing. I wonder about the stuff that doesn't make it past the cutting room floor

To give everyone a peak behind a curtain a little bit, the team have been brainstorming this mod for a little over two years back and forth and in various forms (admittedly with very long pauses in between in many places as real life pulled us to and fro!). The cutting room floor is a mess of scribbled notes and design documents at this point!

Talking of notes, I hope you and the team still have those from years ago concerning the never released "ThunderVerse Vice" mod. I didn't forget the hype, even 5 years later. :p

Presumably the vast majority of it is in FTD?

I'm sure you know this already but From The Depths is marvelous. My second favorite mod behind T-Verse.

Can't you tell I like their style? :p

Markw has it right. As much as I can remember from Vice (also sidenote, wow was that five years ago? I feel so old. :o) a lot of it got adapted into FTD. It's as close to Thundervice as you'll ever get. :)

DeBosco's Pixlr stable logos in the PGHW thread inspired me to use it to have a go at some Thunderverse stables. Still getting to grips with it but feels like a nice quick way to make custom logos. Not sure whether to carry on with stables or have a go at some events instead (since I assume there's more chance of official stable logos than events).

<p>Threw together some quick PWI event logos that are just font changes. Didn't realise how dark they were so doubt they'll look good in the game, but hopefully they'll encourage some of the more graphically minded on here to have a go at some events. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Dalton's posts won me over. Went to finish 2018 with UPJ in my save. Best Hall of Immortals show yet, second-best to the 2016 Ozeki Summit Final. Both were main evented by an Oda Yamawaki-Kintaro Kinjo showdown.

A quick rundown of the card:

- Yamawaki beat Kinjo in a 2/3 falls marathon for the UPJ World Heavyweight title, ending a 2-year run with a dozen defenses for Kinjo

- Erik van Rijn beat Juro Deguchi for the UPJ Intercontinental title, ending their feud that started with Fergus Storm turning on Deguchi-gun to join RENEGADES (this pulled a 99)

- Junichi Matsuo beat Jung Dragon for the UPJ Junior Heavyweight title, giving him his first major title in the company

- Sean Girven retained the COBRA Openweight title against the fast-rising Nobuhisa Yasutake

- Ignite Zero retained the UPJ World Tag Team titles against the World Tag Grand Prix winners, Scott Hart and James Gilmour

- The Fallen (Cameron Cody and Derek Grace) retained the UPJ Junior Tag Team titles against Tokyo 2K (Nakano Yuki and Ryuko Mishamoto)

- The RENEGADES team of Koji Yamada, Seven Brandt and Richie Santana Jr. retained the COBRA Openweight Six-Man titles against an all-European team of Graham Mackenzie, D'Anton Joubert and inaugural UPJ Young Lions Cup winner (hey, he qualified by the game's measurement) Magnus Stonebreaker

- Furosoto beat Fergus Storm in a no-DQ match to end a feud with a face victory

- Christian Prophet beat Eikichi Minamoto to end a feud with a heel victory

- TEMPEST Masato won a "get everybody else on the card" battle royale

Here's where we are, size-wise, in December...

I'm about to renegotiate all my broadcasting deals, need to generate more popularity in Canada and Mexico to break into International. We're holding steady at the necessary 88 in Japan. Been putting PPVs and touring highlights on The Entertainment Channel in North America.

Looking ahead to 2019, some early thoughts:

- EVR is going to try to needle Yamawaki by pushing the notion that the Intercontinental title is the new gold standard in UPJ, I've got an idea of a winner-takes-both-belts match at some point

- After Christian Prophet left Eikichi Minamoto bloodied at Hall of Immortals, his sole goal for The Brotherhood will be to destroy The United Throne and their leader, Kintaro Kinjo

- Fergus Storm is going to go after Sean Girven and try to become the first junior to win the COBRA Openweight title

- Having ended the last two years in title-losing defeat and now approaching his mid-40s, Juro Deguchi will spend 2019 focusing on a new mission: Bringing Nobuhisa Yasutake into the Deguchi-gun fold and mentoring him in his quest to become a future world champion

- At some point, Sean Girven and Alejandro Iglesias are going to push Ignite Zero for the tag belts because they were pulling high 90s and even a few 100 performance scores in the ring together during the World Tag Grand Prix

- Jung Dragon (no longer in The Brotherhood) and Dragon Prince are gonna naturally be in a new tag team — possibly Junior Tag Grand Prix winners in January — and push The Fallen for the junior tag belts

Your popularity is really impressive, especially after just 3 years.

That's in March of 2023. I've had swings up and down, but I don't think I ever hit 88 for any area. Buying out Nu-Extreme Wrestling in 2017 has paid dividends, as I'm holding steady at National there. After grinding the tri-state area to get a free-to-air deal there, I was able to get a commercial deal with Atlantic Cable Network (Medium in Mid-Atlantic/Tri-State/New England/South East) for highlights and events. That's led to me growing real quick in the USA.

Since I can now just let the USA grow on its own without running too many events there, now I can plan my next expansion, the British Isles. I have so many English dudes on my roster, some from GBWF and others like Sean Girven, Super TIGER, and Paul Crowley that aren't from there specifically. All of them can help expand there for sure. I bought out Irish Championship Wrestling in October 2021 which gave me 34 pop but I never followed it up so it dropped back down to 8 by the end of the year.

I just took 5 minutes to whip this up quick. I am not graphically-inclined but eh

I'll make a few other simple ones like that as well

And here's a resized version of my RENEGADES one from *earlier*...

Yeah, I got rather fortunate with a strong economy and wrestling industry. My whole goal in 2018 was to get to the mark that would get me my international requirements at home, and I just now hit it.

Buying out The Club allowed me to get a TV deal that was Big all across the US and medium in Canada and Mexico. Now I've got one that is Very Big across all three.

My plan is to run my annual Ignition event across two nights in Week 1 of January and then finish the rest of the month with a West Coast tour of the USA, culminating in a UPJ/PWI Supercard. February is for the Junior Tag Grand Prix (moved it back because I had a couple of juniors still working back from injury) and the two Rebellion cards. March will be the UPJ Invitational and Procession of Champions.

By the way, AWF has gotten its act together and is back up to National. HONOUR has reached that point and has been able to outbid me a few guys. (Nagata is being real tight-fisted, despite us having $25 million in the bank.)
