Well yeah my Graphic skills aren't up to much. A quick flaming text logo stuck on a random google image search background. Really hope we do get official/better logos, but I don't think it'd be too difficult for someone to whip up some text based versions if not.

I was messing around with the Bullet Club logo a while back and still had the PSD file saved.

 

Got bored this afternoon and made a modified version for everyone's favorite UPJ stable. (In my head in my UPJ game, the RENEGADES sign is finger guns held across your chest, so I went with the old long barrel pistol.)

Now THAT is terrific! Definitely downloading. Personally I will cover up the United Promotions Japan text because RENEGADES is an "anti"-UPJ stable.

 

But that design is great and is making me want to make some myself!

So I got really bored this afternoon and went into Pro Wrestling Tees mode with that template.

Just to confirm that the confederate imagery was removed from the ThunderVerse a long time ago (the minute that we became aware of the negative connotations around its use). I've attached the new BCW logo to this post to anyone who wants to use it in the run up to the new release (it's actually an update of the update, if you see what I mean!).

 

To be clear, the ThunderVerse has not and will not intentionally contain any offensive characters for the sake of realism or for any other reason. It's an unfortunate part of real life, but it doesn't need to be part of this game.

 

Hope that addresses the concerns raised yesterday.

 

Sweet logo. IIRC, you posted an earlier version a while back after someone pointed out the issues with that flag and also that Kentucky wasn't actually part of the Confederacy.

 

Also looking forward to an update of the TVerse.

I'm a fan of the new products, as I think it grounds that aspect of the game in some reality. It was way too easy to game the system in past games.

@Levitical, when I was first messing around with TEW2020 I converted the T-Verse and went through the products for some of the bigger companies, so I'll post our differences.

 

DIASPORA: LuchaResu OR Fast & Furious. I could be wrong, but I don't see DIASPORA as martial-arts influenced. I know Realism is their Key Feature in 2016, though. Also their developmental promotion is Fast & Furious according to your interpretation so maybe they both could be?

 

DRAGON: Wrestling Nerd Nirvana. I see DRAGON as the ultimate smark promotion personally. Great workrate with amazing storylines.

 

PWI: I can't figure this one out.. I don't think they're quite Modern Throwback but they're not Respectful Wrestling either.

If PWI took themselves less seriously, it would also be a good candidate for Wrestling Nerd Nirvana. Respectful Wrestling also works, too.

 

Also, I might have gotten DIASPORA and IWJ crossed up. Fast and Furious would work, though.

I think Modern Throwback works perfectly for PWI for what it's worth, hope that's what they end up with. Respectful Wrestling doesn't have enough of a pop/entertainment aspect to it.

TCW: Thunder Championship Wrestling. We all know there's a logo. Let's bring this beast to life! Mind you, this is just going off of 2016, but imagine a Terry run promotion with VIP & Drake at the top with Chaperone, Clay Clinton, & Rudy Single at the desk. Give Seven Brandt that big time contract he deserves! Love Freedom spouting his believes with Jesse Mills right behind him as his muscle, and eventual successor! Larry Lighting pays homage to his idol! Iron Fist gets a new lease on life! Where else are Buzz, Soda, and Sissy supposed to ply their trade... AWF don't care about tag teams... They have a division but they don't use it properly! Chris Candell can blow that pop stand of AWF and their silly gimmick they have strapped to him, be the wrestling machine he was born to be!</p><p> </p><p>

<p>So I loaded Thunderverse and have been playing as Rampage and I am really enjoying it and looking forward to the 2020 version. </p><p> </p><p>

I have to say, Bobby Ruiz is unstoppable in my game. 20 defences now of the openweight title. And almost all of them since the first five I've allowed the road agent to choose the winner. And now I don't have the heart to take it from gim by note hahahaha!</p><p> </p><p>

After a rough start I am making a modest profit now and am well on my way to regional, where I may stop.</p><p> </p><p>

Any other promotion I should try before 2020 drops?</p>

Before playing this mod I couldn't get involve in any fictionnal database… now it's the only database I use. Thunderverse 2020 is by far the mod I am looking forward to the most, keep up the good work mate!
