TCW Where Angels Fear To Tread

April 2020

Show Rating: 82

Attendance: 51, 342

In a Tornado Tag Team Match, Bart Biggins & Flying Jimmy Foxx defeat The Syndicate (Doc Hammond & Edd Stone). Biggins picks up a big pinfall over his former friend and partner Stone. (74)

Matthew Keith defeats Elliot Thomas. The Kings of Wrestling member (ala The Keith Family) remains undefeated in singles competition . (55)

Mainstream Hernandez defeats Tana The Mighty. For the first time, Hernandez is accompanied to the ring by an unnamed, rather large bodyguard. No surprise, that bodyguard gets involved to help Hernandez pick up the win. (72)

Greg Gauge defeats Joshua Taylor to successfully retain the TCW Television Championship. This much anticipated rematch is the finale of a four month long rivalry between Gauge & Taylor. (84, Match of the Night)

In a 6 Man Hardcore Tag Team Match, Mr. Lucha & W.M.D. (One Man Army & Maverick) defeat The Sinner Society (Eddie Peak, Killer Shark, & Titan). The blood feud between W.M.D. & The Sinner Society is brought to a close, as One Man Army pins SS Leader Eddie Peak to pick up the big win. (70)

Wolf Hawkins defeats Mighty Mo to successfully retain the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. Mighty Mo comes into the match with an injured shoulder thanks to a Mainstream Hernandez sneak attack. Despite Mo’s best effort, Hawkins takes advantage of the injury to keep the World Title in The Syndicate camp. (82)

The Shade Gang (Marc Speed & Matt Hocking) defeat John Anderson & Benny Benson to successfully retain the TCW World Tag Team Championship. Tag team specialists Anderson & Benson united and flew up the tag team ranks to gain this title match. But, one really bad miscommunication between the duo leads to Anderson crashing hard to the ringside floor, hitting his head hard. Benson is forced to fight most of this match alone, and when it appears Anderson has recovered enough to get the hot tag? Anderson drops from the ring apron and walks out on Benson! Needless to say, the Shade Gang take advantage to keep the Tag Team gold. (71)

In The First Ever TCW Ticket To Mayhem Match (Money in the Bank), Aaron Andrews defeats Freddy Huggins, Jay Chord, Mikey Lau, Roderick Remus, & Sammy Bach. Andrews climbs the twenty foot ladder and retrieves the contract, guaranteeing him a World Title Match in the Main Event at Total Mayhem XXIV!

The PPV comes to a close as TCW World Champion Wolf Hawkins walks out onto the stage and watches as Andrews celebrates with the contract. Hawkins now knows it is inevitable. Despite all his antics to avoid fighting the former World Champion once more, Andrews found a loophole by winning the Ticket to Mayhem.

In the Main Event of the Total Mayhem XXIV, the historic feud of Aaron Andrews & Wolf Hawkins will come to an end…and it will take place one on one…locked in the Mayhem Cell!

Playing Mid Atlantic Wrestling. Just finished August of '21.

Rock God Alvarez was fired from EILL after it was discovered he regularly uses prostitutes. SWF has been on a signing spree. They signed Tommy Cornell and Greg Gauge. USPW and TCW are both hurting -- USPW has fallen to medium!

Miller Fforde and The Architect have become the benchmarks of MAW -- which no longer has a developmental deal with TCW.

Sam Keith's owner goal of no brawlers has been a pain in the butt.

Tana the Mighty, the TCW World Heavyweight Champion just got signed... by SWF! Tana is #AllSupreme.

So, in a totally unexpected surprise, Jack Bruce accepted to come out of retirement in my TCW save, and I'm willing to bring him back to his old home and challenge for the TCW World Heavyweight title.

What sounds more attractive for a main event? Jack Bruce vs Wolf Hawkins or Jack Bruce vs Aaron Andrews? Those two are totally white hot at the moment, so I was planning on those two to break the house in the next PPV against a legend like Bruce. I'm even considering Jay Chord to be his rival, but if it is Chord, it will not be for the title, is not the time for him to win the title yet.

I have my head scratching over these ideas, all of them sound great if booked correctly.

Long live WCG. I will continue my award winning (lol) dynasty here, having fun and posting some stuff.

Set-up

I started the diary with TEW2016 years ago and converted it to TEW20 to continue the dynasty at the forum. I played it until January 2020 where my big anniversary show took place. I didn't wanted to continue the converted save so I went to the default 2020 database and created WCG with all its history and the skills people had when I stopped the diary. Trust me it was pain in the arse but I wanted to have boys like Miyake or Katou with their progressed skills.

Champions going into the new save:

WCG World Heavyweight: Hitomaro Suzuki

WCG Intercontinental: Yoshinaka Taku

WCG Junior Heavyweight: Japanese Phoenix (3)

RISE Openweight: Morimasa Kato

WCG Tag Team: Koshiro Ino & Tadakuni Toshusai

WCG Junior Tag: Reaver & Billy Robinson

RISE Openweight Six Man: Pavel Vanzycha, Sterling Whitlock & Logan Diaz

Also I opened an american subsidiary similar to NJPW of America with a dojo underneath.

Schedule

0Y6jw98.png

Here is my schedule. The RISE shows are my showcase for younger and outside guys which will be held multiple times a year, just like the "PRIDE of" shows. They're like house shows in smaller towns.

February Shows

So basically our first show went down the toilet when Yoshinaka Taku got badly injured ONE MINUTE BEFORE the bell. The AI called an audible and made Motoyuki Miyake the new champion, what a disaster. I love Miyake but he was definitely not in my mind to be an IC champion this year, but here we are. I don't know why the AI didn't went for a no contest but okay.

7M78wQ6.png

C5uJIdz.png

Taku will be injured for 1 year and 3 months....

What a bummer for a main event. Masuno isn't that great in 2020 and Suzuki isn't that great in this save already. I tweaked his stats from the converted database where he was a beast but here he's just bang average so far. I had plans back when I did the diary on GDS that he'll be a longtime champion because I really love him and he's a WCG original. I mean he won the S-1 Festival, the White Canvas Trophy, was IC champ and now World champ.

T41Cl8U.png

Our first US show was average at best. I had higher hopes for Miyake versus the legendary Billy Russell (the plan was Taku vs. Russell obviously)

RYRLyt0.png

I had plans for an US title and we did a mini four man tournament with Youngman vs. Bulldozer in the finals which became the best match of the save so far. Smith as the first champ was a no brainer since he's here with us since day one.

WCG America has two titles with the WCG American Openweight title and the WCG American Tag Team title, the US title will be like in NJPW a connector between the brands

My MAW game continues. We are in April 2022. Miller Fforde is in his third reign as MAW Champion, having unseated The Historian for the belt in February at Wrestling Classic. Wild Red Stallion is the current Chesapeake Bay Champion, having given Dreadnought his first loss in his career. The Hott Taggs are the current Tag Team Champions.

MAW just announced the formation of a women's division. It will be a small division (6-8 workers) to supplement the shows as PSW has been signing more of MAW's talent that will be appearing on some of their shows (and they have a weekly TV show on Fridays). MAW has risen to small size and is consistently turning a profit with two monthly shows. We tried a six month deal for a TV show and we were not financially ready for that so we did not renew it after six months of losing money. We've settled into what should become our schedule for the foreseeable future. A show the second week (MAW Flashpoint) and our normal show the fourth Friday of the month.

USPW has risen from medium to Titanic on the strength of Reverie and are back in firm control of the number one spot. SWF is the number two provider of content in the world. OLLIE has risen to medium and is back from the brink of death with the great leadership of Phoenix I and Mr. Lucha III's loyalty.

I'm doing real well in my CZCW save. I'm in 2025 and got my first 99 rated match!

0bcc3880-3d41-49e4-a22b-e1b73c66ac30.png

This is my first and only 99 rated match in this save (my only save since I got TEW 2020) and very excited to get this rating! It's also very weird that I have been obsessed with this save for this long... I usually get bored and start a new game with a different company. I have done so well though that I can't stop pushing to get to the next level.

I've been playing NJPW for 8 years now (game time.. not 8 years irl...) and am now halfway through the G1. I've been attempting to not poach/take any major names from the US promotions, and usually when I do, I give them back after building them, best example of this is with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Well, Triple H found his way to my company, picked up by WCW, released by WCW, picked up by me again, lost him to GWF. GWF collapsed in 2000. He is now Triple H. No more Paul Levesque or anything. He has joined NJPW as "The Game" and is ready. Going to mega push him as my Stone Cold replacement, until he is inevitably picked up.

Here is the thing: Going to take Shawn Michaels when his contract expires (he hasn't done shit in the past 10 years, except win the tag titles once and the RR once), and create DX. Thing is... need to decide who else to use. Don't have access to Road Dogg, but Billy Gunn is floundering around. I was thinking of Edge and Christian, as they can fill the sleezy degenerate role well, and be the heavyweight tag team. Shawn will be the 2nd in command / second. I need a Junior Heavyweight, potentially another one or two to fill a tag team role. Any suggestions? Can be gaijin or Japanese. Doesn't matter.

So TL;DR: Fill out D-X's roster for me. With Road Dogg tied up, Sean Waltman is available, but his hard drugs have rendered him REALLY bad. Mr. Ass is available.

Leader: Triple H

2nd: Shawn Michaels

Heavyweight Tag Team: Edge/Christian (Edge will also be the "future" here)

Junior: ???

Junior Heavyweight Tag Team (can include the above jr.): ??? / ???

Any Additional Members You Feel Are Good:

Total Mayhem XXIV

May 2020

Attendance: 56,553

Show Rating: 88

In a Tag Team Fatal Four Way, W.M.D. (Maverick & One Man Army) defeated Beautiful Love (Dazzling Dave Diamond & Frederique), Devine Fortune, & The Syndicate (Doc Hammond & Edd Stone). With this victory, W.M.D. earns a Tag Team Title Match in two days on TCW Total Wrestling! (57)

Darryl Devine suffered a Torn Abdominal in the match, thus affecting the match rating.

Aztec Prince defeated Harry Allen. Eddie Peak’s prized pupil remains undefeated in TCW after demolishing Allen. (46)

Joshua Taylor defeated Freddy Huggins. Mr. Lucha would prevent Huggins from using a steel chair. Taylor would take advantage of the altercation to pick up the win. (79)

Taylor replaced Mr. Lucha in this match after Lucha suffered an injury. Taylor was originally scheduled to be a part of Mighty Mo’s Total Mayhem team.

High Concept defeated The Sinner Society (Human Arsenal & Killer Shark) by Disqualification. In High Concept’s first tag match in TCW (Greg Black’s first match altogether), SS Leader Eddie Peak would interfere to cause the DQ. Shockingly, Fro Sure would hit the ring to help fight off Sinner Society! (60)

Later, it would be revealed that Fro Sure has been Benny Benson’s protégé since joining TCW, and is now the third member of High Concept!

Jay Chord defeated Mikey Lau. Chord called out the entire TCW roster with not-so-kind words, while openly stating he was waiting on the winner of Andrews – Hawkins. Lau would answer that call. Unfortunately Mikey, he would come up just short to the self-proclaimed “Man of Destiny.” (79)

Team Beef defeated RH Enterprise in a Total Mayhem Match. The heated rivalry of Mighty Mo & Mainstream Hernandez led to Total Mayhem. Mo avenges a tainted singles loss to Hernandez two weeks prior. (80)

Team Beef = Mighty Mo, DC Rayne, Tana The Mighty, & T-Bone Bright

RH Enterprise = Mainstream Hernandez, Roderick Remus, & The Cold Blooded Assassins (Akima Brave & Ernest Youngman)

Sammy Bach defeated Greg Gauge to become the NEW TCW Television Champion. Dubbed by Gauge as “Sammy Last’s Big Chance,” Bach was determined to earn that big Total Mayhem moment that he had never achieved in his twenty-four year career. Well Sammy, you got it! (84)

Bach ends Greg Gauge’s first TV Title reign after nine months and eighteen successful title defenses.

The Shade Gang (Marc Speed & Matt Hocking) defeat Super Party Squad (Bart Biggins & Flying Jimmy Foxx) to successfully retain the TCW Tag Team Championship. The third member of Shade Gang, Troy Tornado, would sneak Hocking some type of foreign object (brass knucks?), allowing him to knock Biggins out cold. Hocking would tuck it in his tights and cover Biggins before the zebra realized what happened. (81)

In the epic main event of Total Mayhem, Wolf Hawkins defeated Aaron Andrews in a Mayhem Cell to successfully retain the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. One of the biggest feuds in TCW history finally comes to a close, as both men spilled blood to prove that they are the #1 wrestler in professional wrestling. Despite the rest of The Syndicate unable to help him this time, Hawkins pulls out the win and continues his fourth reign as TCW World Champion. (92, MOTN)

1st Post

Since my last post, link above, our big round robin tournament climaxed in Tokyo with two former enemies collided in front of a sell out crowd of 30,000 people at Kanagawa Stadium. Bunrakuken Torii, a two time WCG Intercontinental Champion and former S-1 Festival winner, had to fight the american blue chipper Greg Gauge, also a former WCG IC champion and a former WCG World Heavyweight Champion as well, the leader of the Rogue Squad.

A-Block

Bunrakuken Torii [12]

Hitomaro Suzuki [12]

Motoyuki Miyake [10]

Omezo Shikitei [10]

Yasunobu Masuno [10]

Koshiro Ino [10]

Ernest Youngman [8]

Pavel Vanzycha [8]

Morimasa Kato [6]

Ray Snow [4]

Four men were still alive on the very last day with the current Heavyweight titleholder Hitomaro Suzuki, IC Champ Motoyuki Miyake, Omezo Shikitei and Bunrakuken Torii. Althought they were only some minor chances for Miyake to win the block to force a decision match. In the end it came down to Omezo Shikitei and Bunrakuken Torii who had their match in the main event and what a match it was. With a 84 rating it became the best rated match in the newly created save so far, Torii with the upper hand after twentyfour minutes with his Spinning Forearm Smash for the win.

B-Block

Greg Gauge [14]

Razan Okamoto [12]

Azumamaro Kita [12]

SUKI [10]

Fujio Narahashi [10]

Heihachiro Sakai [10]

Tadakuni Toshusai [6]

Zeshin Makioka [6]

Taheiji Konoe [6]

Nigel Svensson [4]

Big main event at the final day of the B-Block when Greg Gauge and Razan Okamoto faced each other to determinate the opponent for Bunrakuken Torii. Razan has never reached a S-1 Festival final and so it was this year when Greg Gauge beats him just with one minute remaining to advance to his second final in a row.

S-1 Festival Final Night

Torii versus Gauge.. again! Just like in 2017 when "Machine Gun" Torii captured the WCG Intercontinental Championship from Greg Gauge, Torii managed to beat the leader of the Rogue Squad after thirtyone minutes to win his second Strong-One Festival tournament while Gauge has lost his second final in a row. While the Rogue Squad camp were devastated with another loss in a big moment, Bunrakuken Torii celebrated with the typical Saikyou Ichi Katana untill WCG Champ Hitomaro Suzuki came out to a stare down. The match traditionally takes place on May 5th during the Golden Week at Pro Wrestling Love! The pairing Suzuki - Torii has a lot of history since the beginning of WCG in 2016 when Torii was still a bad guy during the Black Terror Unit invasion. Torii lost the WCG Intercontinental Championship in January 2017 to Hitomaro Suzuki, which was one of the rescuer for WCG against the B.T.U. Fun fact: Torii has never beaten Suzuki in a WCG titlematch.

Just a match prior the three time Junior Heavyweight Champion Japanese Phoenix lost the title against Rogue Squad Joffy Laine in a "mid" bout. Laine, the first man to win the Grand J-Challenge in 2018 (the tournament will get it's revival in this save), is finally the Jr. Champ after several tries.

What's Next?

Pro Wrestling Love is next with a stacked card like always. "PWL" is one of the big four shows in our schedule and always big. We'll host three road to shows prior to the big show with a bunch of minor title matches on the line as well. Also the Hamani Cup, our young boy tournament, kicked off during the S-1 and will culminate at PWL.

Road To PWL title bouts:

RISE Openweight: Morimasa Kato vs. Omezo Shikitei

RISE Openweight 6 Man: Rogue Squad (Pavel Vanzycha, Sterling Whitlock & Logan Diaz) vs. Sotatsu Sarumara, Kimitada Yanagita & Hirokichi Yoemon

WCG IC: Motoyuki Miyake vs. Ray Snow

Pro Wrestling Love title bouts:

WCG Jr. Tag: Billy Robinson & Reaver vs. Infamy Inc. (Masa Kurata & Nichiren Amagawa) [WLW]

WCG US Heavyweight: Brandon Smith vs. Danny Cavanagh

WCG Tag Team: Koshiro Ino & Tadakuni Toshusai vs. Zeshin Makioka & Taheiji Konoe

WCG World: Hitomaro Suzuki vs. Bunrakuken Torii

I just finished my third year booking MAW. We are comfortably at small with a popularity in the Mid Atlantic of 36. We are currently running two shows a month: Friday Week 2 - The Flashpoint series and then our normal scheduled events on Friday Week 4.

Currently, our top five stars according to creative meeting are:

  1. Davis Wayne Netwon -- the current COTT World Heavyweight Champion
  2. The Architect - the current COTT North American Champion
  3. The Historian - one half of the current COTT World Tag Team Champions
  4. Dreadnought -- who has just been signed to USPW and will be leaving this month (January)
  5. Wild Red Stallion - our lead babyface, current MAW Champion and 1/3 of the COTT World Six Man Champions.

I didn't put the world title on DWN, FCW did. They are part of the COTT having accepted my invitation to join. Miller Fforde is also a major star and has been a great babyface for me. He's had two reigns with the MAW Title since I took the book, ending both The Architecht and The Historian's reign.

We are comfortably turning a profit each month -- the amount ranges based off of our talent budget on a given show. Wild Red Stallion is our biggest merchandise mover after Sam Keith, and it's not even close. He did $457 sales in merch in December whereas DWN, #3, did #124. In fairness, Sam Keith did almost $2,000.

Speaking of Sam, he's pulling double duty as our road agent and color commentator. I fired Ernest Forthdyke-Hume after Marvin Earnest resigned. I brought in Harvey Manners initially to be my broadcaster by Ron South left NYCW and I brought him in to be the voice of MAW alongside Sam Keith.

Haley Buck has become an essential part of my heel manager side. She has Buck Services (BS), which consists of Dreadnought (until he leaves), Duke Freeman, The Wolf Pack and the freshly debuted Son of Vengeance (renamed Vengeance Jr.). She had good chemistry with Dreadnought and excellent chemistry with SoVen and has been great. Lisa Bowen manages Pepper Peltoon since the Heartbreak Express left to try and experience other companies. I hope to bring them back in after enough time has passed.

Currently, the plan is to continue to build Wild Red Stallion into our marquee babyface with a strong rotating cast of heels for him to work with. I'm hoping to start see some guys get signed from my roster to create spaces for more people to move up the card.

So, I just finished Total Mayhem XXIV, with Wolf Hawkins retaining the World Title against Aaron Andrews, ending an epic feud. I went back and forth for so long, deciding who I wanted to be champion for the oncoming year.

I finally decided on Hawkins because Surprise!!! I just signed Tommy Cornell to come back to TCW. I was gonna cook up an epic, year long feud between Hawkins & Cornell, and make Wolf my top babyface and my figurehead in the process.

First match after Total Mayhem, in a non-title bout against Flying Jimmy Foxx, Hawkins suffers an injury. Out for 3 months.

I want to scream into the void for the rest of the day.

Currently scrapping a lot of my plans for my next two PPVs (Excessive Force & Summer Showdown). And just for the sake of fun, I'm going to do something I've never done. A 32 Man Tournament, the winner to decide the new TCW World Heavyweight Champion.

I currently haven't made a decision who is going to win. Jay Chord seemed the obvious choice, especially because I'm turning Hawkins face. But...turns out Hawkins & Chord have poor chemistry as opponents. There goes that potentially epic feud!

Oh boy...I'm going to waste a lot of time in the next few days because of this wrench in my plans...

Over the last few weeks, I've been recreating the results/trying to catch up to real-life so I can book AEW Revolution card myself. I started with October 2021 data and things have been going well, but a huge wrench got thrown into my plans.

At AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, Adam Cole went down with a torn quad. The initial estimate was that he'd be out for a year, but thankfully, surgery shortened the time to six months. Still, I have to pivot the plan for the world title match at Revolution. I'm thinking of rolling with Jon Moxley. Given how he had to leave the World Title Eliminator Tournament, that's a fairly easy setup. I thought of MJF, but I don't want to feed him to Page here.

Jericho also crossed my mind, but I want to roll with him vs. Kingston for the PPV.

The injury also derails the Undisputed Era vs. Elite feud that had been brewing, which is a bit of a bummer, but honestly, these curveballs are my favorite part of the game.

IRL AEW just announced Rosa vs. Baker for the PPV. I was hoping to hold off on that until Double or Nothing somehow. Contemplating bringing in Mickie James for a title vs. title crossover feud with Baker leading to an inter-promotional match at the PPV.

Ah come on, poor chemistry isn't the end of the world ;)

Right place at the right time and even workers with bad chem can put on great matches.

It sounds like a difficult curveball the game threw you. For me those are some of the most exciting times in the game

Lol, I'll still do Chord/Hawkins eventually, just won't do a full blown feud.

The 32 Man Tournament has begun, and I got a plan finally. I'll post the tourney results when its finished. I pretty much scrapped all my plans for the TCW Excessive Force PPV Card and instead booked the biggest matches in the Round of 16.

It actually doesn't bother me, kinda wasting a PPV. I wanted to eventually cut back on PPVs. Never been a fan of 12 PPVs per year. In the mean time, I actually just brought back Saturday Night Showcase, but it's a monthly product. Essentially, it's my version of Saturday Night Main Event.

I just finished my second year with my custom puro company, and there has been an awful lot of progress since the last time I posted about it.

The Championship:

Commander Kawagishi held onto the PWO World title for almost a year before dropping it to the fast-rising Orange Tsuchie. The two of them are far and away the best talents in the company, regularly pulling 70s in matches. I'm planning on keeping Kawagishi away from the title for a while, but I'm definitely not averse to him making another run later down the line, even though I'm trying to angle towards longer, more meaningful title reigns.

Roster Changes:

Jinzaburo Kakinomoto was the first wrestler to leave the company. He had declared his desire to be a main eventer on a radio show immediately after he graduated from young lion status, so I started giving him a push. He went on a winning streak for a few months, including defeating two of my previous champions. However, after being disciplined for bad behavior backstage and losing a match to Suguru Emoto, he abruptly quit the company.

In terms of new talent, Tony DeWonderful and Suguru Emoto joined in the first half of the year and have done very well for themselves. Tony is performing excellently despite a slightly slow start, and Emoto caught on with the fans extremely quickly. Monday Next was hired in October, but despite his good stats, he hadn't wrestled in a year when I signed him and is suffering from ring rust. Hopefully he shakes it off soon, because I feel like he could be a big hit if he can get it together. Haruhiro Tsunemasa has also joined the roster, but primarily as a jobber.

Finally, I have a new trio of young lions, two of which are foreigners, and all of which are newgens. Ramón Giminez showed up at an independent show in Mexico at the start of the year, and has amazing stats along with massive potential in Puroresu and Technical skills. Seiho Saga is a 6'9" prospect who doesn't look terribly impressive in the ring yet, but is incredibly charismatic. Finally, Jagan Dwivedi is an Indian wrestler who is essentially a less talented version of Ramón, but still shows potential.

What's Next:

Depending on how the finances look, I'm hoping to book my company's version of the G1 or Champion Carnival in either this year or the next. Likewise, I'm taking a good look at who should be the next champion after Orange's reign, and I'm primarily considering Suguru Emoto or Shimpei Hirose. Most of the champions thus far have been high fliers, so I'd like to shake things up with a tough-as-nails brawler.

That's a good option. In the game, Miro is healthy, but I'm trying to keep it as grounded in reality as possible, so I'm not sure about using him here when he hasn't been on TV in months. Plus, I wouldn't want to bring him in just to take a loss like that. Though the twist of fate of getting a title match, only to lose it, would help his whole "Man vs. God" storyline he has going....

2023 in my PSW save and we're on the home stretch going into Homecoming where Brandon James will finally relinquish his title, after an almost two year run, dropping the belt to Angry Gilmore. Our last big event, Lockdown, saw Gilmore and his Golden Triangle stable (Jake Idol and Ozzie Goldstein) defeat Brandon, Grandmaster Phunk and Zomboy inside a steel cage to earn Gilmore his shot at the gold - that show drew our biggest ever crowd of over 7,000.

Elsewhere on the card Hammer Hadley defended his National Championship, issuing an open challenge which was answered by the debuting Jungle Lord. Hammer brutalised JL to the point that the referee had to stop the match. This victory cemented Hammer as a Major Star and will set up a title vs career match at Homecoming (Jungle Lord recently announced his retirement so I wanted to quickly cash in on his overness before he hangs up the boots)

A feud with Darryl Devine awaits Hammer after Homecoming but I need to find opponents for him beyond that.

As for the World Title picture, Gilmore will give Brandon James his rematch at Big Ass Brawl, retaining the title, and I plan to have him drop it at the next event to either Zomboy or Acid II. I did have ZomBoy pegged for that role but Acid has been packing on the muscle and has gone from toned, to muscular to ripped. He's currently feuding with arch body guy Forest Ratzloff but he's actually in better shape now! With his jacked new physique and his superior in ring skills I actually feel like Acid is probably gonna be the guy to win the Big Ass Brawl and dethrone Gilmore.

Acid II won’t change size or physique for me. Still tagging with Stuntman in my save. I haven’t gotten behind ZomBoy at all. He hasn’t developed in a way I was hoping for. I like the massive amount of roster turnover you’ve apparently had so far. What product you using? Still a hardcore type?

I thought ZomBoy was gonna be a good low level player for me but Grandmaster Phunk offered to put him over and that established him good and proper. He's also high up on the Show Stopper list and I've actually had a lot of fun booking him so he's become a big player for me. I haven't fully pulled the trigger on him yet so he's bouncing between Well Known and Star. I've got him in essentially the Darby Allin role as a fearless underdog (his underdog gimmick got a Legendary rating so that was another huge plus for him)

At the end of 2022 I got an honest to goodness TV deal and Mitch (I'm only playing as booker) changed the product to Episodic Hardcore in response. That was a good move too because my older guys like Brandon, Phunk and the newly acquired Bart Biggins can't really go longer than ten minutes anyway.

Speaking of Stuntman and roster turnover, he got kicked to the curb. One of the few guys from the starting roster that I let go rather than quitting or getting poached. Acid outgrew him and he was becoming a nuisance backstage and his matches sucked. He had to go.

Finally revived my game.

Dreadnought improved from essentially 0 pop to 74 in the US in 5 months on a monstrous Goldbergian squashfest streak (35-0 so far), but is starting to get occasional good opponents. I don't have spot for him in my title plans for a while due to other storylines, so I'm trying to figure out how to handle him, when to have him lose and to whom.

What I decided to do was start a slow feud with the Elite, a heel stable consisting of Doc Hammond (65), Davis Wayne Newton (38-41), Nelson Callum (34-54), and Ash Campbell (29-31) [pop in ()'s] because Hammond offered to put him over a while back. It's not really needed, but I don't have space for Doc in my other feuds, so here we are.

They are all heels, so I can't do the usual face/heel stories. I started by having Dreadnought and his manager hype his streak and then having the Elite interrupt to brag about a win so they begin to annoy him. I plan to have 1-2 more similar things occur to further heat things up.

Prior to my break from my game, I signed John Jackson (31), who is now available. I'm running vague video packages for him hinting that he's coming to buy time to set up the story for his debut and I'm trying to decide if he should be another heel, or a face (I thought about turning Dreadnought, but he's a 100% heel).

My plan is to have another interruption leading to a backstage faceoff between Dreadnought and the Elite. Jackson then debuts, walking right into frame, putting out his cigar on the big man and asking what the fuss is about, leading to a backstage brawl with all of them and a feud to go on for a few months.

Most likely I will have Dreadnought get an intentional count out loss first, by leaving a match to beat up Jackson or the Elite so they can claim a technical victory while he could say he's not been pinned nor submitted.

Then he'll get some wins, likely including one over Doc, and eventually get a tainted pinfall loss to end his streak.

I'm trying to decide who should get which win. I'm leaning towards the first one going to Jackson and the second to DWN.

------------

My other main story line is that I have a cultish stable, the Dark Circle, that warned for a month that someone was coming. The group consisted of Aldous Blackfriar as the mouthpiece, Supper Massive Destroyer, Original Sinner, and Stacy Clementi. They are all still below 20 pop and were on the B show so as to lead to the belief that someone was coming to aide them in their little feud on that show.

Instead, the debut happened at my PPV main event. Primus Allen (84) got his first world title win, ending the 6 month long run of Bash Street (81-84). Following the win, the groups music hit, they walked to the ring, the lights went out and along with the debuting, but not yet revealed leader, Scythe (74), they beat down both men and then took Primus with them. Primus was not on the next three shows (whereabouts still unknown) and other top faces are confronting and getting attacked by the group. Scythe made his second appearance to help take some of the faces out.

Long term, if all goes well, Scythe will win the title. In a no.1 contenders match Primus will lose to Spencer Spade (91-92) and then flip out and attack him so they swap face/heel. Spencer will eventually win the title by the time he is established as my first ever run with a figurehead.

Also a random thing. I signed Jack Bruce a while back to by my authority figure and got him to agree to do colour in November of 2020. I noticed he was getting agent notes that he was bringing my current shows down, which seemed odd, given how good he is.

I went and looked at his colour stats.

may-oct 2020 he is 0-8

nov 2020 he is 81-89

Dec 2020 he is 53-61

since then he is 52-60

No idea what happened here, but I'll use the editor to fix it since it appears to be an error. I don't like using the editor, but that's a massive drop for no reason.

His verbal altercations with spade propelled spade to the top
