Do Child promotions do Merchandise? If not will they do it if you do the add user to game and remove trick like you used to have to do for Production?

 

They do, but only grow at conservative speed. Even if you add a player, change it to rapid, it will go back to conservative. It is mildly annoying. I don’t know why you can’t use your own merchandising facilities for your child companies. Just increase the costs.

Right, your child companies merchadise should be run through main office just like they can be broadcast on my channels.

 

I just really wish I could give away some booking control in the main company and gain more ownership/business controls over child companies.

What's the deal with the "cost per show" and "cost per month" being so out of whack? There are some workers who want 20,000 a month, but only 600 PPA. And others ask for more money in PPA than per month. What's that about?

I'm playing as an insignificant company and suddenly seem to have stopped gaining popularity. The "wrestling industry" stat is pretty high so it's not related to that.

 

I can't get above 12 popularity even though my shows are always rated between 70 and 80. Is there any link to prestige? (My prestige is also 12 which is all that made me think this)

For how long it's stopped gaining pop? I think i have read somewhere in this thread that there is a limit in how much pop you can gain in a month.

It's just been a couple of shows (so I'm probably being very impatient) but I'm only running a couple of shows a month so I would max have only grown by 0.2% in the month

With that numbers for your shows, because of yours low pop, i think is not impossible that you gained more than 0.2 but maybe not enought to move to 13 in pop. I think you should read the page from the player handbook about growing your company that gives you a list of everything that affect pop gains (i just read it and talks about the monthly limit too) because even audience and broadcasters impact how much you gain.

Thanks for your help, I think it's definitely the popularity cap because it seems to start increasing again the next month. This probably means it's been happening for ages and I've been running all these useless shows but you live and learn.

Can someone who has many backups of the same save check how workers attributes work pls, can wrestler gain something that isn't related to addictions, like for example a charismatic guy becomes an actor or a good athlete becomes MMA fighter, i see sometimes messages that somebody started doing MMA fights but i don't have a backup save to see if he gained that attribute or it was always there, also what other attributes can be gained?

And a similar question for companies can they evolve, like changing the locker room rules or hiring rules, i know they can change their product but never seen any messages about other changes.

Successful turns and gimmicks can reset negative momentum to neutral, but they have to be pretty good to do it. With that sort of thing linked to the risks you take assigning the gimmick, your creativity User Talent and some randomness it's not going to work every time though.

 

Can they win their way out of bad momentum with the same gimmick / disposition?

I'm doing a Cverse run right now with a small custom company and I've already purchased three other companies that were in the red. Recently, CZCW had an event fire where one of their employees embezzled all their money and left the country, leaving them almost 5 million dollars in debt. They've been in the red for over a month, but every time I try to buy them, I get the "they have no interest in selling because they're not in a bad enough financial situation yet" message. They're still running shows too, despite the fact that they shouldn't have enough money to pay anyone, and they're very slowly chipping away at their debt.

It depends on the company prestige and years of activity, i think. So for company like CZCW it would need to pass more than one month.

You can have as many facilities as you want, actually. So it's pretty feasible. Might take a little while to eventually get it going, and it can be costly.

That's the only thing I could think of, but it didn't drop after our first two shows... and not everyone on the roster speaks Hindi, though he already speaks Basic upon further investigation.

Either way, its a crazy stat drop the game gave me no indication of, so I was just confused.
