brickhowes10
So is there a way to resign developmental workers and just have them automatically remain in their developmental company or do i just have to resign them and then send them back every time? Ash17485
I’m playing as CZCW using the trial. I keep getting event scores around 60 and I’m 40 popularity in south west but my popularity isn’t increasing there. The handbook says I should need a event score of 6+ of my popularity for an increase. Is there an issue with the trial or am I doing something wrong? The pop increases may not be large enough for you to be able to see them (sometimes increases are only a percentage of a point). Other factors to consider would be your company momentum, and the levels of the industry and economy in your area. Most every calculation in the game is not a simple 1 + 1 =2 kind of equation. In fact, several of them are more like 1 + square = purple <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> due to the multitude of factors that go into a final calculation.</p>

MikeSc
I have a question about getting workers past Unimportant in high pop Products. Could you conceivably stick one or two Unimportant guys who can fight in say, a backstage brawl and give them a pretty good rub going off their fighting skills when the angle got a good rating? I have been using six-man tags involving higher up workers and having Unimportant guys win over other Unimportant, but it seems to move by a point or 2 at a time. I know in Performance > Pop Products this kind of thing is way easier. Any advice?

Is that literally every segment that doesn't happen in the ring, whether it's a fight in the back, a pretaped vignette, or a sitdown interview? No, I use Off a Screen for any angle where you don’t see the worker, most common is somebody cutting a promo about someone else. A backstage angle I would still rate as everyone On Screen because you can see them.

I know in Performance > Pop Products this kind of thing is way easier. Any advice? Yeah, absolutely. The best way to build pop in TEW has always been through high rated angles. If you put a guy in an angle that rated much higher than his pop, he’s going to gain pop quite significantly. And give him a few Successes in the angles and he’ll gain momentum so his pop increase snowballs. That’s why the age old technique of putting new guys around more popular guys in angles always works a treat for getting them over. Think Orton and Batista with Flair and Triple H. Just by having those angles at the start of the show where Evolution comes out every week should be gaining those guys significant pop. GeneJackson95
So I'm trying to run AEW and I've got storylines going and such but I can't get past this whole "Unimportant" thing. Every match I book (Cody vs. Jericho/Omega vs. Moxley/Dustin vs. MJF) all show as "terrible" or "abysmal" no matter how I book them....and within three shows Dynamite is dropped by TNT. How am I able to make people "important" in a reasonable amount of time.....and more so...what makes matches with guys like Cody/Jericho/Daniels/Omega "abysmal"?? I'd guess that the popularity of the workers doesn't match the size of the promotion in-game, probably a mod issue.

This is a mod issue (not a game issue). Also, a lot of those guys would have LOW popularity. For example, Cody Rhodes should be around 60-70 Jericho 70-80 Kenny Omega 50-60 Jon Moxley 70-80 Dustin Rhodes 60-70 MJF 40-50 (In my opinion) You wouldn't get super high ratings regardless of the settings maybe in the high 80s

Blackman
Might indeed be the mod overhyping AEW as a big medium-sized company when it's really not. If you're setting it to be the "new" WCW, that's what you're going to get.
Captain Kayfabe
Now that touring contracts are no longer a thing, what would be the best way to structure non-exclusive contracts for talent? One of these options I presume? * an ongoing handshake deal * a handshake deal for the same duration as the tour (i.e. one or two months)
Remianen
Now that touring contracts are no longer a thing, what would be the best way to structure non-exclusive contracts for talent? One of these options I presume? * an ongoing handshake deal * a handshake deal for the same duration as the tour (i.e. one or two months) Either works. With no downside requirement, it all depends on how (or whether) you plan to use a particular worker.
The Nickman
Could somebody explain the Experience stat to me, please? Is it simply relating to time in the ring or is it in the business? As an example, what Experience would Vince McMahon, Dave Hebner and Jim Cornette have? I assume Sergeant Slaughter would be 100?
njmcfreak
I'm running the Attitude product. I'm looking for something that I can have decent hardcore matches if needed and were the audience doesn't get bored with a match that lasts longer than 15 minutes. It's frustrating when there were plenty of longer matches in the Attitude era. Anything tips on a product?
