This is how i'm going to try to book them. Let your main guys talk for the 20-25%, book great matches in the Mid card with limited angles/ video spots explaining who guys are.

 

I think I am going to split the women into a different brand, run their own TV show once a week, and have 3-4 all female events a year without the boys. Then I'll feel like less of an ass for running 1 (maybe 2) women's matches/ angles on their main TV show/ events and give it more time to grow.

I feel overwhelmed by the roster size tho.

however like someone said it probably should have happened in 2016 so we got the DeColt/Stone rivalry, and then in 2020 we get to where we are now with the "new generation"</p><p> </p><p>

the hybrid product product type saying its the perfect medium gives alot of flexibility. and while its a popular thing now a days to compare things to AEW, that seems to be where CWA is at. The face/heel divide is there, workers popularity is balanced with in match quality. you can do the crazy bumps but the only thing missing is the dangerous/controversial/bloddy match types aren't liked, maybe thats something to add down the line.</p><p> </p><p>

And yeah, the Rosters huge lol I think starting a B show that I auto book will be the way to go. The "reconisable" tier is where most workers sit which is either older vet guys or the young studs. so likely having those young studs go over on B shows seems likely trying to build up guys like Stone and DaLay's kids.</p><p> </p><p>

The good thing, is the main event scene is great so you don't have to worry about that. Throw in the occasional Jack or even Steve match if you want at a PPV to also help get boosts.</p><p> </p><p>

I think there is also plenty of "midcard" potential to also make it to main event or "major star" as it is now with guys like Ricky finally getting their shot.</p><p> </p><p>

Now that the demo is extended I've cast my eye on CWA. Loving the Queen's court stable. I was thinking of either a jester gimmick (given she IS a clown in the locker room) or either a princess(u) so I had to rerender her:

 

 

Or what are your ideas for the women's division here? I'm assuming the stable roles are Nadia as queen and Jessica as some sort of princess to take over eventually. Deborah obviously would be the queensguard.

I’ll say I’m optimistic

 

I’ll start by saying I’m optimistic on CWA for its potential but I don’t like the idea of a merger of two wildly different promotions and products at all, and both CGC and NOTBPW dying because of such a soap opera ish death in dan stone & George DeColt feels hollow to me, like we just went and burned both companies histories to the ground.

 

Honestly would’ve preferred if they kept CGC and NOTBPW separate, With CGC having Jack DeColt book them now, and making a name change for NOTBPW it’s big change

 

While it may seem I’m entirely negative on the new company, I’m negative that we lost two well thought out companies with distinct products for a rushed combination

 

If I run CWA I’m definitely running a brand split and acting like the CWA name and merger is only to give them a leg up on going international eventually

Excited to start playing as CWA, I have spent about 3-4 hours writing everything onto a paper notebook (that's just how I play). Besides the obvious Tag Team Grand Prix, what theme or gimmicks does each event have? Total Elimination sounds like a Survivor Series-style show. Chaos in the Cage will have a Cage Main Event. Any others I may not know about? Which is the biggest show?

I was thinking having one cross promoted match on every show. The winner of the H2H total can pick the stipulation for the big Brand vs Brand finale. That can be a singles match, 5v5, or anything really.</p><p> </p><p> Maybe the East knows that Vessey is the absolute best, so they choose him to pin all of their hopes on in a singles match. On the contrary the West has The DeColt brothers and would bet the house on that family over anything.</p>

have you booked a ppv yet? the majority of your rev will come from ppv. get to the end of the month and you should run a profit.

<p>Okay so when TEW 2020 was first released I lit up with joy upon seeing the screens that told you exactly what the big changes in this release were. It's seriously a really nice touch but when I got to the Canada screen my jaw dropped to the floor. My first save that I ever started with both TEW 2013 and 2016 were with NOTBPW I still have my TEW 2016 save. I named a save NOTBPW and thought "let's go" and then I saw that screen and I was like Wow. It's a huge change and now I have to get used to a new company because my favorite C-Verse company is now gone.</p><p> </p><p>

I love the starting roster, it's impressive and it reminds me a bit of The Lloyds Stones vs. DeColt's dynasty that he did a while back. </p><p> </p><p>

Question is how are people going about booking the company at the start because now us Canadian players have to change our strategies as we try and approach this new company. What should I shoot for rating wise when booking shows? I booked my first show with CWA and it got a 65 rating and I find myself disappointed in it. I lost popularity straight away, so what's going through your heads?</p><p> </p><p>

Also who are you signing right away? I signed Davis Wayne Newton on the first day but I'm wondering who else would help the company and fit in with their image.</p>

So I'm on Monday week 4 of Feb and something I've found amusing with the merch breakdown is Jeremy Stone has had second highest sales for both months. I know he's still super over but I find the fact that a road agent is outselling everyone not named Aaron Knight funny.

I agree with that being a bit absurd, but I'd get his t-shirt before I'll get an A-Knight T-shirt.

 

For managers, announcers, heck... even referees, I'd get it. But a fully off-screen role like road agent? That's just ridiculous. You should report it, as I doubt this is intended.

 

I bet most people can't even name the road agents for WWE. So I doubt they're selling merch.

I've yet to get a show that gains everywhere, still trying to find the sweet spot for them.

 

One thing I did do that's been good for organization as I figure out the mens side of things is I split the women off into their own B show. CWA Arise which is going to be a weekend afternoon show. Then I'm going to schedule a TBD amount of womens only events (prob 1-2 a year) and then have the champ match on the Men's event when the storyline is hot enough.

A sub-brand, or whatever you want to call it. It's an hour and a half TV show with 41 guys on the roster and 15 girls! It's not enough. A one hour B or A show would work for the ladies.</p>
