TEW 2020 Small Questions Thread

Do the "Keep Strong" and "Decisive Win" road agent notes synergize with one another? I want to make the finish clean but the worker that lost to still have had way more offense in the match, if that makes sense. Does the game just ignore the "Keep Strong" part?

Keep strong has no purpose on a winner, but you can use it for a clean loss. Think of it as Brock Lesnar taking 8 finishers before he finally loses. Yeah he lost clean, but it took so much effort that he wasn’t harmed much by it.

The gold standard is the Finisher spam on a chair or belt. Or Rock getting blitzed by 400 chair shots. But I think people way overuse the Keep Strong tag to the point it hurts their matches for no reason. It's ok to let a guy take a pin once in a while. You don't need to protect every waking soul. Most I've had somebody lose was a full momentum tier and 3 pop. THREE pop. It's not the end of the world.

<p>AI Picking Match Winners</p><p> </p><p>

Here's a question I've always had: In the event when you're having the AI Booker determine a match winner, are they choosing the winner entirely at random, or do they factor in any stats, momentum, overness, etc.?</p>

Like, if you set someone to dominate they're more likely to win. Or if they have a good relationship with the road agent they're more likely to win. Declining workers are less likely.</p>

The most over guy nearly always wins. If they're equally over, then it's randomised. If you have other road agent notes, but don't select a winner (ie, someone is set to Dominate, or interference is set against a worker) then the agent will take that into account and have the result that makes most sense (ie, the dominating guy will probably win).</p>

<p>Editing Database in outside of the TEW Application</p><p> </p><p>

So I attempted to edit the data of one of my saved games data and went through my comptuer files to do so. After opening the Access file, it asked for a password. Does anybody know what that password would be or where I could find it?</p>

You should use the in game editor instead, if thats not possible for what you need to do, you could always make your save into a database and edit it from there.</p>

Is there any way to delete or edit Broadcasters in-game? I converted my 2014 data and forgot to assign Broadcasters to Cable/Terrestrial etc and don't want to start a new game.

Unrelated, and because there's no place to really put this...that Placement addition to the PM Booking screen makes the game 100% more enjoyable

I never got any kind of answer to this so I'm assuming it's just a "no" lol But will that drastically affect my game at all?

The game won’t ignore the Keep Strong note, and in fact, Keep Strong can seriously ding your match rating, so only use it when necessary.</p><p> </p><p> The note should really only be used if a worker doesn’t want to take a loss, that’s it. As someone else mentioned it, people seem to really overuse the Keep Strong note (and incorrectly) for some reason.</p>

This is what I thought too initially, I just started self-doubting when I read the "Using this note means there are no restrictions on popularity changes" and had to double-check <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Nxt

Can anyone help. I am currently doing a save as NXT and I have completed 3 shows and 20 superstars have already been called up. I would understand if it was 5. I cannot create any stability as all my main stars are being called up so early. Any help is appreciated. Every time I open my emails, it is a call-up warning. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do besides lower everybody's popularity. Workers get called up based on their pop compared to the developmental companies pop.
