With a company like WLW that has tour shows and storylines, would the storylines be advanced during tour shows? It seems like the answer would be no since they aren't major shows but it seems off only advancing them at big events.

Using New Japan as an example, I would say that stories are definitely advanced throughout tour shows, but the major notes of the stories would be saved for the larger events.

I'm still wrapping my head around a touring schedule and didn't know if they should be treated like a house show or not. Thanks again.

Seeking some help on broadcasting.

Using one of the Modern mods and I am trying to get new broadcasting deals for WWE Main Event show in Mexico, but it keeps telling me that it conflicts with my WWE Network contract.

A little confused on how my other WWE shows (including Main Event) can have multiple deals already in place but anytime I try to get new deals, it continues to tell me that WWE Network conflicts with any/all deals I try to help expand my territory coverage. Also how do I get "shown on demand" contracts?

EDIT: Nvm, found that they wanted exclusive footage. I still dont understand how to get On Demand contracts signed since they all have time slots instead.

Yeah, there are two types of written contracts now. Did you sign them to 'written' contracts or to 'exclusive written' contracts? Seems like you're expecting a 'written' contract to automatically be exclusive and that's no longer the case.

EDIT: If it looks like this, you signed them to a non-exclusive written contract:

Thank you very much :) have them locked into exclusives now.

I did that for my TEW 2016 and it was easy.

Is it generally worth it to upgrade to a bigger broadcaster?

I'm playing as WCW in a 1993 save and have got myself up to Big, and WWF is fading. I'm now at the size where I could move from TBS to FOX (as strange as that would be IRL). Fox is a way bigger broadcaster than TBS obviously. It would cost a good chunk of change to break my TBS contract, but I have tons of money in the bank so I'm not really worried about that.

Is jumping to a bigger broadcaster like FOX going to give me further gains in popularity/money? Or should I stick with TBS?

I wouldn’t pay money to break a TV contract ever, unless you were racing to Big/National (but even then you’d get access to even better networks from hitting that level).

It’s been confirmed that you can still reach max size without having maximum size coverage, so really the money might be better spent elsewhere. You’d also likely have to take a smaller cut to be on a larger network, for not much in terms of popularity gains.

Thanks!

I'm only getting a 10% cut from TBS as is, and I'm sitting on 23mil in cash (and we're talking maybe 6mil to break free of TBS entirely). I'm getting a sweet 30% for my new SkySports deal to show WCW Saturday Night in prime time across Europe though :)

Good to know that I can still reach max size without max coverage - that's the most important thing. In that case it probably makes sense (and certainly makes sense from a roleplaying perspective) to stick with TBS.

I figure when I hit a realistic year (around 2000) I'll break ties with TBS and go Internet, since that's something that potentially could have happened then.

I started a new company in the C-Verse and meet all of the criteria to join COTT but it's saying that I'm rejected most likely because CZCW arguing against it.

I'm the minimum size to join and I'm the only company running out of the Great Lakes area. Can anyone think of any reason why it won't let me join?

So I am playing as the booker of a company and the owner announced they are retiring from active competition in three months. What does that mean for me? Anything?
The only thing that changes is that you won't be able to use him as a wrestler anymore.

Does anyone know how to get the game back if I had bought it on a different computer and now I want to get it on another one? I bought it on my old desktop and now I have a new laptop I want to play it on and I don't want to have to buy it again.

I didn't know if I'm just overlooking it but is there still a way in the game to designate a promotion using the wrestlers' names as a tag team instead of one of the generated names or has that been removed?

For Example, the AI calling a team Cattley & The Architect instead of Subbacultcha (if they were a newly formed team during the gamer)

I never got an answer on this so I just wanted to make sure it didn't get missed. I wasn't able to find anything in the manual about it.

I wasn't aware there was a time-zone ding included in this game??? Anyone know how it works?

I had been getting 4.6 million viewers for TCW when the shows were based in the USA, but when I ran a show from Mexico, I lost a million viewers. I posted about it in the tech forum. I didn't know it was because of time zone ding, but I'm assuming this was the problem and has now been fixed.
