The RAW Tower, HQ of Australia's Premier Sports Opera-Entertainment Vitalization International League (Or S.O-E.V.I.L for short) Revolution Australian Wrestling is almost empty in celebration of the New Year, but for wicked villains there are no days off, especially when you don't recognize or celebrate Earth Calendars!

WHAM!

A booted foot slams open the door to roof access and a cavalcade of Oceania's worst march out:

"GYAR-HAR-HAR! Come, my mighty minions, while the foolish humans celebrate the passing of another minuscule earth year we shall be ensuring this will be their last year free from the rule of I, KARRG THE CONQUEROR! GYAR-HAR-HAR!"

Karrg steps aside so his two burly accomplices may step out, each toting two large drums of...something over their arms.

Laguna the Loyal and Deathwatch Beetle

"Quickly now, no time to waste, our ship will be arriving post haste! Ooh, almost forgot to shut the door, where are my manners~?"

Karrg slams shut the door to the roof but starts back when he sees who's behind it!

"My my my, fancy meeting you here, Karrg! NYEHEHEHEHEHEH!"

"Halloween Knight, you thorn in my side! How did you know we'd be here!?"

"My keen deductive skills, boundless intellect, and the fact the ZEN offices were forwarded a parking ticket you received for an illegally landed saucer!"

"Grrrr, damn you! But no matter, you are too late, behold!"

Karrg snaps his fingers and a flying saucer glides over the roof and beams down a circle of eerie green light that picks up Karrg's two henchmen, slowly levitating them up towards it. Karrg begins to walk away, smirking at his nemesis.

"My alien army will grow ever stronger and there's nothing you can do about it! GYAR-HAR-HAR!"

"You're confident for someone with a D Minus villain laugh! NYEHEHEHEHEH!"

Karrg is stopped in his tracks, turning around to point at Knight with venom in his eyes.

"My laugh outclasses yours in every way you dime a dozen Undertale Knockoff! GYAR-HAR-HAR!"

"That's rich coming from you, you half-baked thrift shop Ming the Merciless! NYEHEHEHEH!"

The two henchaliens look at each other as they are slowly lifted up, their boss and his arch enemy trading schoolyard insults.

"Uh, boss?"

"Not now, I'm busy! GYAR-HAR-HAR!"

"NYEHEHEHEHEH!"

"But boss...!"

"GYAR-HAR-HAR-HAR!"

"NYEHEHEHEHEHEH!"

"GYAR-HAR-HAR-HAR-HAR-HAR!"

"NYEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH!"

"BOSS LOOK!"

"WHAT!?"

"Ahem."

Both Knight and Karrg look back to the now reopened door where there stands-

Tristram Day, CEO of RAW

"Who the hell are you people and what do you think you're doing with my drums of Star Power!?"

"Drums of whatnow?"

"FOOOOOOOLISH EARTHLING, KARRG THE CONQUEROR NEED NOT EXPLAIN HIMSELF TO THE LIKES OF YOU!"

"Well how about you explain yourself to them"

Behind Tristram comes a squad of heavily armed riot police.

"OH HOLY MACKEREL, CHEESE IT!"

Both Knight and Karrg dive for the UFO's tractor beam which becomes a lot less slow about its picking people up, jerking in the direction of the ocean as it tries to getaway while Day's goon squad starts peppering it with gunfire. Knight holds onto Karrg's boot as the saucer careens over the ocean back towards New Zealand, smoke emanating from its side where a lucky shot hit something...important. Kargg tries to kick Knight off but only succeeds in doing so when they're close to being fully back in the ship. Kargg lurches onto the inside of his vessel and shouts at his lackeys:

"GET HIM, YOU FOOLS, DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO BOARD THE SHIP!"

Deathwatch Beetle nods and hoists the nearest and heaviest thing nearby to throw down at Knight: One of the drums he'd been carrying. Knight barely twists around in the tractor beam to avoid it as it's sent tumbling down, showering Auckland with a glowing blue liquid!

"Missed!"

"I'll get him!"

Repeating Beetle's strategy, Laguna tosses one of his barrels at Knight only to have it miss too and disappear into a lake below.

"Dangit!"

"You can't hit the broadside of a barn, let me at it!"

Beetle grabs another drum but Laguna, angered at the insult grabs for it as well, the two goons playing tug of war with it as Karrg finally turns around from getting his bearing and shouts.

"YOU FOOLS, DON'T USE THAT-!"

Before Karrg can finish his warning the two musclebound minion rip the barrel in two between them and a shower of glowing blue liquid goes flowing out of the bottom of the ship, succeeding in hitting Knight in the face and sending him tumbling down below out of sight.

"Hah! Got 'im, boss."

"That'll show that stupid Knight."

"You...IDIOOOOOOTTTTTSSSSSS! NOW WE ONLY HAVE ONE DRUM OF THE MUTAGENIC COMPOUND!"

"The what?"

Suddenly a voice comes over the ship's intercom.

"Yarr, this be yer cap'n speakin', the rear left engine of this here vessel be outta commissin', we're losin' altitude! Strap yerselves in or be high velocity keelhauled by the impact!"

The three aliens quickly scramble to find shelter as the UFO crashes down into the New Zealand wilderness.

ZEN HEAD OFFICES, JANUARY 1st, 12:05 PM

"Snrk-BWAH! WAHHH!"

Halloween Knight sits up in the cot set up in his private office at the ZEN: Art of Wrestling HQ. Panting loudly he pats over his body and exhales.

"A dream? ...must have been...huh...I gotta lay off the late night cocoa..."

A voice stoically breaks off Knight's relief.

"Actually sir, we brought you here."

"What, who said that!?"

"You can't see us, sir."

"Why?"

"Because we're ghosts."

"...uhhhh...ghosts? That's nonsense, ghosts aren't real-"

Knight suddenly notices quite a few of his plants and a novelty Sam Strong bobblehead are now floating around the room.

"WHAT THE!? ...holy stromboli, I'm haunted!"

"Not so, sir, you called us to you during your fall and we merely answered."

"Wh-bu-how the...I'M A NECROMANCER!?"

"Yes, sir, it appears as though your consumption of that strange fluid has given you magical powers. How very nice for you."

"...wait...howwwww many people might have come in contact with that stuff after wingus and dingus tried to smash me with the barrels?"

"Oh probably not many."

Sounds of explosions and crashes can be heard outside.

"But almost certainly the entire roster of your wrestling show. What are the odds?"

"...I'm sleeping in today."

"A good choice, sir."

MAIN EVENT MASTER TITLE MATCH

ZERO is kind of hard to push as your main champion given that he's the 5th most over guy on the roster and doesn't have any entertainment skills to work with or a particularly interesting gimmick by ZEN standards. That being said, I'm hoping you'll be able to figure out what to do with him better than I.

Vertigo is thankfully no longer backstage cancer, but he's still getting skulldug.
