AEW World: Jon Moxley © vs. Chris Jericho

I think Jericho will have another run on top. But not yet.

AEW Women’s World: Kris Statlander © vs. Hikaru Shida

I'm not a fan of Statlander at all. But I can see her winning here.

AEW TNT: PAC © vs. Darby Allin

PAC retains. Will be an amazing match.

Brian Cage vs. Orange Cassidy

As good as Cassidy is this match will stink. The sooner Cage is picked up by McDisney the better.

Jungle Boy vs. Sammy Guevara

This will be awesome. Jungle Boy to edge it but it really could go either way.

Big Swole vs. Britt Baker

Not too fussed about either but Baker has received some promotion from you so I think she'll win here.

This looks good man. Good luck to you.

EDIT:

Billy v Austin

This will be emotional match. Echoes of Sandman and his son.

Silly me forgot to add Billy vs Austin to the quick predictions!

It's in there now, if anyone who has predicted already wants to edit their post and add it, that'd be fine. If you don't, that's fine too!

EDIT: Wow didn't expect all of y'all to see this and add the match! That's awesome lol. Only one person out of like six of you hasn't yet and it's only been seven hours.

I got a perfect score night 1 :D You forgot to me on the list :3

Fixed!

AEW Dynamite: High Stakes Night Two

Charlotte, NC

Wednesday Week 1, October 2020

Attendance: 5,293

<div style="padding: 10px; border: 8px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:60%; ";">

AEW Dark Results:

1. Brian Pillman Jr. def. Sonny Kiss (28)

2. Nyla Rose def. Mel (41)

3. Thunder Rosa def. Mel (31)

4. Karl Anderson def. Griff Garrison (37)

5. The Butcher & The Blade def. The Natural Nightmares (44)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

To kick off the second and final night of High Stakes, Arn Anderson came to the ring!

He said it was great to stand in a ring in Charlotte, North Carolina. He first came to Charlotte thirty years ago, it’s where he met the Nature Boy Ric Flair, and it’s where he hopes to end his career in pro wrestling.

After the cheap pops, he called out the Elite. From the back came the Young Bucks, and then Cody. Arn asked them where Hangman was, to which they all shrugged and shook their heads. Arn says that no one knows better than him what it’s like for someone to turn his back on his best friends. He was a Horseman, and a damn good one too. Arn said he was always there with his friends, and what Kenny has done to his friends is disgraceful. He stated that he knows the Bucks and Hangman lost to Kenny and the Good Brothers last week, but it’s time to move on from that. If they don’t shift their focus elsewhere, then the Elite is done. And that includes Cody, who Arn criticized last week for not standing with his brothers over the last nine or so months.

Arn claimed that he has spoken to Tony Khan, and that he mentioned something to the AEW President that seemed to go over well. When the pandemic hit, a major event was forced to be cancelled. Now that the pandemic is over with, it was time to revisit that plan. Arn smiled as the crowd began to realize what he was about to say.

“The final chapter in the Elite vs. Inner Circle feud is coming, in four weeks,” Arn said. “Mark your calendars boys, because it’s time for you to become men.”

"In the first week of November, the final page in the saga will be written. It will be The Elite vs. The Inner Circle in…”

THE MATCH BEYOND!

Arn said that the match will be five on five, but the Elite is now a four man group. The Enforcer grinned, and looked directly at Cody. “Fellas, let me introduce you to your fifth man for The Match Beyond…”

DUSTIN RHODES!

Dustin walked to the ring and hugged his brother, then hugged the Bucks. He took to the microphone and said, “Arn told me earlier today that this was going to be happening, and that he was asking me to be the fifth member for the Elite. How could I turn that down?”

He looked at Cody, “Cody, I’ve been inside those cages before, I know what it’s like. Our father, the man who created The Match Beyond, knew how dangerous it is. I stepped into that cage twenty-eight years ago before I could grow a damn hair on my face. And you know what Dad said to me? One day son, you and your brother will team together in this match. Finally, that day has come. Are you ready?” (57)

Cody looked at him with tears in his eyes as he hugged his brother and the rest of the guys joined in.

In four weeks, The Elite and The Inner Circle write the final chapter in their feud in The Match Beyond!

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

1. Brian Cage def. Orange Cassidy – A FUN match! Orange kept his antics to a minimum past the opening bell, but still fell victim to Brian Cage after thirteen minutes. Orange had some high spots in the match, including a shooting star press for a two count. Cage would put him away with the Tazmission for the submission victory. (66)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

Chris Jericho and the rest of his Inner Circle are backstage with Trish, but before she could ask a question Jericho began rambling. He complained about Arn Anderson and the Elite. He said that he thought the Elite was dead, since Kenny left for a better team and Cody wouldn’t be caught dead with them! But no, now they have to square off inside of TWO cages?! Preposterous! They already defeated the Elite in the Stadium Stampede, why do they have to do this?

Trish cut him off and said that actually, the Elite beat them at Double or Nothing in the Stadium Stampede match. Jericho responded by just yelling “THEY CHEATED!”

Jericho pivoted to tonight, to which he said that two of them have matches. Sammy is facing that spoiled brat Jungle Boy Jack Perry, and Le Champion will regain his Le Championship from Jon Moxley! He said that he would enter The Match Beyond as Le Champion once again! (64)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

We received a short black and white video package from Darby Allin ahead of his AEW TNT title match with PAC later tonight., The video was him skateboarding with a photo of PAC’s face taped across his own. A drone was recording him skateboarding down a very secluded road in the woods. Darby’s voice talked over the package:

“For a full year now, I’ve been told that I am a future champion. But when is the future? Is it next year, is it five years? No. The future starts tonight.”

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

2. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. def. Big Swole – Britt’s return match to AEW following her knee injury was a success as she defeated the woman who tormented her throughout her recovery process! Post match, Britt grabbed a microphone and said “Tony, my best friend, that one was for you!” (41)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

We were treated with a short video package of Kenny Omega and his transition into the Cleaner in AEW. It focused heavily on his antics before All Out on FTR, his turn on Hangman, and the arrival of Bulletproof. (69)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

Billy made his entrance for his match with his son alone, something that he is clearly broken up about. On the contrary, Austin Gunnmade his entrance with the entirety of The Dark Order. He was backed by a group that cares about him.

3. Austin Gunn def. Billy – An emotional match. Billy pleaded with his son to come to his senses, but Austin was emotionless. There was no sorrow on his face, even with his father crying and begging. Billy refused to strike his son, which put him at a huge disadvantage. Austin was relentless in his attacks, always punching and kicking. Billy kept responding to this by grabbing his son and slamming him to the ground, but never striking back. He put him in a submission hold, an armbar, but let go when he heard Austin scream. The finish came when Billy brought his exhausted and sore son to his feet, and put his hand on his shoulders, begging him to come back. But Austin looked up into his eyes, and punched him in the jaw! When Billy got to his feet, Austin opted to hit him with the Discus Lariat! That’s Mr. Brodie’s move! That was enough for the win, as he pinned his father 1-2-3. (39)

Austin, still emotionless, left the ring with the Dark Order as Mr. Brodie put his arm around the young man, every so often peering over his shoulder at his newest recruit’s father bawling his eyes out in the ring. Billy screamed and screamed, to no avail. (34)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

4. Jungle Boy def. Sammy Guevara – Jungle Boy got his revenge! The future star pinned Sammy with a roll up after a fantastic thirteen and a half minutes! It was an even match throughout, and any interference attempts by Jake Hager were thwarted by Luchasaurus. Sammy went to go for a standing moonsault, but Jungle Boy reached up and pulled him down for the schoolboy pin! (65)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

MJF and the rest of the Dynasty were backstage with Dasha. MJF said that last week, Wardlow snuck up on them like a coward and struck him with a chair. If he was a man and as tough as he says he is, he would’ve took the four of them on at once! MJF said that Wardlow’s time in AEW is almost over, because he was the one who brought him in in the first place. Now that MJF has no need for him, he should be fired. (68)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

5. AEW TNT Championship: Darby Allin def. PAC © - NEW CHAMPION! Darby Allin has won the TNT title from PAC! An amazing match that was highlighted by a missed Coffin Drop from the top rope through the announcer’s desk! It was quite the bump by Darby. After that spot, PAC had the momentum but eventually he moved out of the way of a Red Arrow and superkicked PAC in the face, followed it up with a Coffin Drop and got the clean pinfall victory! (77)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

6. AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander © def. Hikaru Shida – A VERY good match from these two women! In fact, it might be the best one yet! Kris put away Shida after thirteen minutes with an Area 451. They shook hands after the match, even though Shida was clearly upset about losing her chance at regaining the title. (56)

After Shida left the ring, Kris went to the top rope to hold up her title, but was attacked from behind by...

H6tTgR5.jpg

Nyla Rose!

The Native Beast is at High Stakes, and she picks up the champion and slams her down with a powerbomb! She grabbed a mic from Justin Roberts and said just three words…

“I’m back bitch!” (48)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

Backstage, Trish was with the Young Bucks. She asked for their thoughts on The Match Beyond. Matt said that they are excited for it and that it’s a match they’ve been wanting to do since AEW began. They had it scheduled for March, but the pandemic caused it to be postponed almost eight months. Nick said that yeah it’s great that the match is happening, but first they need to get a hold of Hangman. He asked Matt if he had gotten a hold of him, to which Matt said no, he hadn’t, and that Cody hadn’t either. They don’t know where he is, when he’ll be back, or if he’ll even be at The Match Beyond. (69)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

7. AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley © def. Chris Jericho – Another awesome match to end High Stakes! Moxley was able to retain the title over the man he took it from in February. The match lasted twenty-one minutes and was chock full of amazing action! The match was reminiscent of their Revolution match in that the momentum teetered between them throughout the match. Moxley played an awesome babyface, and Jericho is the epitome of an ‘Amazing Heel.’ Moxley put him away with a Paradigm Shift to a huge ovation from the Charlotte crowd! (79)

Moxley stood tall with his AEW World Championship as he played to the crowd. He grabbed a microphone from Justin Roberts and began talking about his title reign. He beat Jericho, twice he points out, he beat Jake Hager, he beat Brian Cage, and he beat MJF. All of those men are worthy competitors, and….

Before he spoke another word, a man ran down the ramp to a huge reaction from the crowd. He slid into the ring and blasted the champion in the back of the head with brass knuckles. The man was…………….

KENNY OMEGA!

The Cleaner hoisted Moxley up onto his shoulders and yelled “BANG!” as he nailed him with a One Winged Angel!

Kenny stood over the fallen body of the champion and looked over at the AEW World title. He walked over and picked it up, put it over his shoulder, and pointed the finger gun at Moxley as High Stakes came to a close!

Usually you guys predict almost perfectly, but not this time :p results were a bit more unpredictable this time, which isn't the case for most Dynamites I post.

Most of you didn't think Darby could do it! Same with Jungle Boy! Sammy beat Jungle Boy at All Out so I thought it would be a bit more obvious that Jungle Boy would win this one :D

AEW Dynamite Preview

Resch Center, Green Bay, WI

Wednesday Week 2, October 2020

<div style="padding: 10px; border: 8px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:65%; ";">iHpF2fO.jpg?2

High Stakes is complete! Two action-packed nights of AEW’s finest battling it out in the squared circle! We saw a new AEW TNT Champion crowned in Darby Allin, and Jon Moxley retain the AEW World Championship over Chris Jericho! All that, and plenty more unforgettable moments!

Now we look forward to Dynamite this Wednesday on TNT! All Elite Wrestling will bring SEVEN star-studded contests to a sold-out Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin!

Matt Jackson vs. Sammy Guevara

The main event of Dynamite is between members of The Elite and The Inner Circle! This will be Matt Jackson’s first singles match since OCTOBER 2016! His opponent is Sammy Guevara, one of the fastest rising stars in AEW and the protégé of Le Champion Chris Jericho! Three weeks ahead of THE MATCH BEYOND on Dynamite, each faction will certainly enjoy some momentum!

AEW TNT Championship: Darby Allin © vs. MYSTERY OPPONENT

One week after capturing the TNT title from PAC at High Stakes, Darby Allin must immediately turn around and defend his newly won belt against a mystery opponent! AEW President Tony Khan has told us that the opponent is a guest to AEW, and will only win a contract with the company if he wins the match, and the title!

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley Speaks

After defeating Chris Jericho to retain his title, he was blindsided by Kenny Omega! The Cleaner stood tall to end High Stakes, and it is clear that his next target is the AEW World Championship! Jon Moxley requested time so he could speak his mind about Kenny’s actions last week, so do not miss what the champ has to say!

The Dark Order (Mr. Brodie Lee/Colt Cabana/Austin Gunn) vs. Jurassic Express

Last week, Austin Gunn fully abandoned his father in order to commit himself to the Dark Order. Now that his recruitment is complete, the Dark Order looks to continue their success against all three members of Jurassic Express: Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt!

Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose & Bea Priestley

Kris Statlander defeated Hikaru Shida last week to retain her AEW Women’s World Championship, but was attacked by Nyla Rose shortly after the bell rang! With the Native Beast gunning for her title, will Kris stand her ground, or will she be dismantled?

Richard Holliday vs. Wardlow

Wardlow made his return at High Stakes to attack his former friend, MJF! He smacked a chair across MJF’s back and sprinted away before the rest of the Dynasty could get ahold of him! Now this week, Wardlow will begin his revenge on The Dynasty, starting with Richard Holliday. Will the Dynasty’s presence be too much for Wardlow, or will his hatred for MJF prove too much?

Plus…

Tenille Dashwood in action!

Doc Gallows in action!

We hear from Billy!

What’s next for Scorpio Sky and SCU?

<p>Just some notes.</p><p> </p><p>

I plan on focusing more on the wrestlers' records and rankings going forward. I think I am going to do their records just in the time since the game has started, because going back and trying to figure out everyone's real records, and then changing them based on what has happened here and IRL would be way too much of a pain.</p><p> </p><p>

I am undecided on if I will just do overall records, or break it down to singles/tags/trios and overall. These will reset every year just like AEW actually does. This will definitely make it easier for me to find challengers, book feuds and overall make things a bit more tidy.</p><p> </p><p>

BTE seems to play at least a small role in AEW storylines in addition to the skits they do that stick to the BTE canon, so I might do some short BTE recaps as well. Something to break up the monotony. Besides, there's something that I REALLY want to hint at, but don't want to do it on Dynamite.</p><p> </p><p>

I would also like to place a bit of focus on what is going on in the rest of the world, mainly in NXT because we are in a ratings war and what they do should impact what we do and vice versa. When I started this I planned on having an ongoing ratings chart, but that was dashed when I saw that NXT regularly gets 1.6mil+ viewers a week compared to my 1.0mil, even though my show ratings are usually better. That's not an RWC problem and definitely not Questlove's fault; it's because the patches have been tweaking broadcasters a bit (also, I started this game with the June RWC update, and according to Quest the TV ratings are much more accurate in the August update thanks to his constant tweaking and testing so kudos!). </p><p> </p><p>

So for focusing on the rest of the world, I will most likely do a short "Around the World" breakdown of current champs, etc. Some of it will require some creative license on my part since what's going on throughout the world can definitely spoil some future plans for me (you'll know what I mean when you see it <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />).</p><p> </p><p>

Also, thank you guys so much for reading! The last episode of Dynamite got SEVENTEEN predictions, which I seriously never thought would happen. It means the world to me that the time I put into this hobby brings enjoyment to others <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I've tried keeping this as grounded, real, and immersive as possible because IMO that's what creates good storytelling. I am a huge reader (currently reading through the First Law trilogy, highly recommend) and an even bigger fan of television and cinema such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Westworld, hell even The Office. What all those have in common are great, memorable characters and engaging storylines, all things that I hope to do here in this thread. I have almost six months of storylines mapped out to the segment, with the main events of all PPVs and specials planned until next year's All Out. So you'll be seeing this thread for a looong time!</p><p> </p><p>

Enough rambling, thank you all for stopping in!</p>
