Yeah I had found those already and they were also much appreciated. These alts are great, and will come in super handy! So what Evildude has said & quoted is pretty true for the most part. For myself, it's just come from playing around over the years (so many years! ) to see what works and what various tools in GIMP do and how I can make that work to fit the vision in my head. I'm by no means a master at graphics though so a lot of what I do doesn't quite work but it's the trial and error aspect that metaphorically paid the bills for me.
