TNA 2024: We are Back!!!

It seems the new TNA is bombarded with problems at the moment. Between Final Resolution and Hard to Kill, El Phantasmo suffered a long term injury which would keep him out the whole year and the newly reformed Team Canada 2.0 got hit badly.

Now, news is coming in that James Storm and Bobby Roode, Beer Money who shocked the world when they came out at the end of the main event at Hard to Kill has suffered a horrendous accident on the highway while on their way to a common friend's place.

While Storm had suffered minor injuries and he is expected to be back in a month's time, Bobby Roode has bore the brunt and he had broken his neck which will rule him out for at least 6 months to a year or even more.

TNA was banking on the big money feud between MCMG and Beer Money for the next couple of months but now it seems they will have to come up with something else. This indeed is a sad moment for all the fans who were looking forward to this feud.

Until we get some more news, here is a video to enjoy: MCMG vs Beer Money Ultimate X, 2010

Those injuries after a great show like that will hurt for sure, but, excited to see what will be the answer to the injury problems that have sadly arrived early.

Ya, that put a spanner in the works but I have alternate ideas which will be put into motion from the next show onwards.

ROAD TO NO SURRENDER

Explosion starts, tag division hots up, Kamille goes on a mean streak but ends in jeopardy

The new Knockouts exclusive show, Explosion started with 1 to 1 Million retaining their Knockouts Tag titles against MK Ultra in a rematch of Hard to Kill in the main event of the 1st episode. With MK Ultra losing twice to Itoh and Yamashita, it was a question of who would come up next to challenge. Enter Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna has not been in the best of form for the last few months. She lost to Trinity for the second time at Turning Point and lost her chance to fight for the Knockouts title. Then, at Hard to Kill, Kamille debuted and defeated her. Tasha Steelz convinced Deonna to tag up once more and Deonna said one last time and if they lose, Tasha should never show up on her door again.

Kamille turned lot of heads during her debut when she defeated Deonna. Since then, she had been dominating the KO division, defeating Jody Threat, Gisele Shaw, and Alisha Edwards though a botch from Edwards meant Kamille had a bad landing on the floor and she is out for a month. Well, the injury troubles never seem to end for TNA.

The Herald brings the Cult of Doom

At the Countdown to HTK, the prophecy that Crazzy Steve had been rambling for months finally came true as a man wearing a hideous mask, proclaiming himself as the Herald arrived and took off with Tommy Dreamer. In the next month, he debuted his Cult of Doom which included a resurrected PCO and back from the dead Su Yung!!!! who he recruited to be his Queen. The Herald and Su Yung both got to work soon as they started kidnapping wrestlers before leaving them in a very vulnerable state. Leon Slater, the protege of Joe Hendry was kidnapped. Rhino was kidnapped and left in a pool of blood and of course, Tommy Dreamer was in hospital. Joe Hendry and Heath decided to fight the Cult on their own and they got help in the form of Rich Swann as the trio looked to stop the fearsome trio.

Over on the women's side of things, Su Yung recruited and brought to TNA two deadly warriors of the dark lands, The Twisted Sisters. Holidead and Thunder Rosa wreaked havoc, kidnapping and laying out Mickie James and JesSICKa. It was upto Jes's partner Courtney Rush who got support from the juggernaut, Jordynne Grace as they looked to turn the tide against The Cult.

Tag division becomes a global melting pot

While the war between ABC and Rascals is over for the time being now, the rise of new teams in the division kept things fresh. While Subculture suffered a huge drop in form as they failed to win a single match, the new arrivals Grizzled Young Vets and the newly formed team Max Assault, consisting of Black Taurus and Laredo Kid were the shining stars of the month as they notched up some impressive wins. So teams from all around the world were trying to grab the spotlight and the tag division shined brightly. But the next challengers were Major Players with Matt Cardona pinning both Chris Bey and Ace Austin in different matches, he had a huge case of getting a title match going for him and indeed the GM Santino Marella made it official, it would be ABC vs Major Players at No Surrender. With Moose less active this month due to wanting to take a break as he recuperated from the loss to Shelley at HTK, Major Players have a big chance to earn some first-time gold for the Major Empire.

ROAD TO NO SURRENDER

Total Bullet Club & Rascals war continues!!!

While ABC and Rascals were finished for now, Myron Reed and KENTA continued to clash. Jonathan Gresham won the #1 contender's match for the X-Division title defeating Frankie Kazarian and Rich Swann but he eventually failed to win the title from Sabin. The post-match segment was of more interest though as both KENTA and Reed tried to name themselves as the new #1 contender and both started brawling. Next week's match between the two also did not yield any result as the match was thrown out due to double count-out and Sabin announced he would take on both of them at No Surrender.

Aces & Eights become an obstacle for the world champ??

In the absence of Beer Money and with Moose recuperating from his loss at HTK, the newly reformed Aces and Eights interjected themselves into the world title scene with Bully Ray cutting an intense promo about how they are the real deal and Shelley should face him for his precious world title which Shelley reminded him that he has already done and defeated the big slob and made him tap like the whiny b***h that he is. Lance Archer had no such obstacles as he started attacking Shelley in the subsequent weeks and forced him to give his title shot.

Josh and Maclin going after Alliance tag titles???

After the loss to Killer Elite Squad at HTK, Josh and Maclin were trying to come up with the path that they take next when Scott D'amore gave them an unique opportunity, the first TNA guys to fight for the Strong Openweight tag titles. Motor City Machine Guns had become the first team from IMPACT to win the titles when they defeated Aussie Open last year. Alexander and Maclin have a chance now to be the 1st TNA tag team to win the honors against the in-form Bullet Club War Dogs who have been holding the title for the last 7 months.

The injury bug really is biting this save a ton huh. Surprising as I'm usually relatively lucky on that end even on highest frequency. Love repurposing Xplosion as a Knockouts show, by the way.

Thanks, the Xplosion has got to a strong start. The Knockouts division is such a strong part of IMPACT/TNA that i had this in mind even before starting the save and is something i wish they do IRL. I have been bugged with injuries forever in this save it feels now. Stay tuned, there are more injuries to report in the subsequent months.

Hey uh controversial pick but if you need a replacement for team Canada 2.0 what if you signed teddy Hart? The guy may have issues but when you think of Canadian pro wrestlers the hart family is usually the first to come to mind. And spot monkey tendencies aside he's on of the best high flyers in the sport, somewhere between the like of Jeff Hardy and John Morrison. He was last seen in mlw a few years ago leading the new era Hart Foundation along Pillman and Smith jr and they were great, held the tag belts under freebird rules and teddy himself had the middleweight title for a time. You could also some wrestlers he trained like Jack Evans for example. He might be American but he was apart of team canada in 2004 during tna's x cups competing alongside teddy as well as Johnny Devine andPetey Williams( who you could also bring back as well) and they held the jersey all pro tag team title too.

No. We absolutely do not need Teddy Hart in any wrestling company ever again. Get your head out of your ass.

Well that's just rude, I'm just trying to help save team Canada after phantasmo got injured. Yeah I read Ted causes problems backstage but as long as he's kept away from cm punk it could work.

1.  TNA Knockouts World Tag Title: Team 1 to 1 Million (c) vs Deonna Purrazzo/Tasha Steelz

I don’t believe the thrown together team should take the titles here.

2. Cult of Doom (The Herald/PCO/Crazzy Steve) vs Joe Hendry/Heath/Rich Swann
Probably makes the Cult look too weak to take the loss here even if the heroes have more upside in the long run

3. TNA World Tag Title: ABC (c) vs Major Players

I think there’s a little bit more juice in this run with some later predictions.

4. TNA X-Division Title: Chris Sabin (c) vs KENTA vs Myron Reed
Maybe a strange pick but I have the feeling you’re going to want the guns back in the tag division, and tbh KENTA can serve you better further up the card.

5. Twisted Sisters (Thunder Rosa/Holidead) vs Jordynne Grace/Courtney Rush

Same Logic as the other Cult tag team match.

6. Strong Openweight Tag Title: Bullet Club War Dogs (c) (Clark Connors/Drilla Moloney) vs Josh Alexander/Steve Maclin

Thrown together team logic.

7. TNA World Title: Alex Shelley (c) vs Lance Archer

Archer is a lot worse off losing this match than Shelley.
