The game went up a few notches when Moose and Reed entered the ring. While Moose deployed his power game, Reed was in full swing with his maneuvers and hit the springboard cutter but Moose kicked out.

Knockouts Ultimate X: Thunder Rosa vs Kilynn King vs Jordynne Grace vs Mickie James vs Nixon Newell vs Masha Slamovich

One of the best line-ups to ever grace the KO Ultimate X, this 3rd edition was a star-studded affair. The match starts crazy with Jordynne and King trying to climb early but they’re stopped. James with the blockbuster on King sends her to the outside and Mickie starts to climb but Masha catches her and they exchange strikes.

Masha sends James into the corner and we get some grappling before Grace and King joins them and both Masha and King goes to the outside with a tilt-awhile head scissors. Jordynne in the ring and she hits Rosa with a spinebuster before throwing her outside the ring onto King. Newell catches Jordynne before she can start to climb. Rosa re-enters and Jordynne hits a DDT off the apron onto Masha outside.

Newell climbs up to grab the X but James with a dropkick prevents it from happening.  Masha and King try to scale the beam on the outside and then both dive onto opposite sides taking out all four women on the outside. Everyone is down after a pretty sweet spot. Everyone starts to get up and Newell is on the top ropes she hits a huge crossbody onto everyone outside of the ring. She begins to climb up the scaffold but Jordynne Grace climbs up to prevent her from getting the X. Jordynne sends Newell face-first into the steel before she climbs onto the ropes. Jordynne begins to climb her way to the X and King jumps onto her back but Jordynne doesn’t fall. James catches King looking for a powerbomb but King reverses it. Masha comes in and pulls everyone down. She goes for a Snow Plough on James but she reverses it and hits the Mickie-DT.

In the end, it was the unlikely duo of Newell and Rosa who came close to the X with both trying hard to put each other down and Rosa won the exchange when she kicked Newell right to the ground and grabbed the X before jumping off herself.

3RD KO ULTIMATE X WINNER: Thunder Rosa
Grade: 47

image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Su Yung and Holidead enter the ring in their creepy entrances and join Rosa in the middle. The crowd goes silent. The eerie setting is felt all around the arena as all three females look at the X in Rosa's neck and laugh maniacally before they vanish after smoke engulfs the ring.

TNA X-Division Title: Jonathan Gresham (c) vs Chris Sabin

Chris Sabin was quick to activate his rematch clause after he lost the title last month before being pinned or submitted. They started hot with a series of chain wrestling moves before Gresham busted out his multiple suplexes that put down Sabin for a while. Sabin came back with multiple chops and a Tanaka punch before putting the ten punch to work on the corner.

Stiff kicks from both to the chests of each other made them red before a suicide dive from Gresham brought the momentum back to him. A Cradle Shock attempt was foiled as well as a hurricanrana before the Octopus Stretch was locked in and Sabin had no choice but to tap out.

WINNER: Jonathan Gresham (defense #3)
Grade: 47

Ace tagged in leading to ABC swarming Gibson with strikes. Drake tagged in. The GYV went for a double-team suplex on Ace, but Ace escaped with knees and tagged in Bey. ABC dumped Gibson and Drake to ringside. Drake and Gibson used tags and isolation offense on Chris Bey. Drake hit Bey with a body slam. Bey kicked out of several lateral pin attempts.

Drake put Bey in a sleeper and tagged in Gibson. Gibson hit Bey with a Butterfly Suplex for a near fall. Bey got to his feet and after a swinging neckbreaker tagged Ace. Ace hit Gibson with a forearm. Ace hit both Drake and Gibson with a slingshot dropkick. Ace gave Drake a stomp. Gibson broke up Ace’s pin. Drake hit Ace with a jawbreaker. Bey tagged in and shoved Drake to the mat. Bey hit Drake with a Frog Splash for a near fall.

Bey lifts Gibson into a Disaster Kick. Drake broke up Bey’s pin. All four men traded hands in the center of the ring. Both men prevent each other from hitting signature moves. ABC dumped Drake and Gibson to ringside. Bey hit Gibson with a Suicide dive and then Ace followed up with a Fosbury Flop. Drake gets dragged in before Gibson is sent to steel steps outside. 1....2....Two Sweet hits on Drake and ABC retain their titles in a high intensity and a match of the night. This makes Kamille angry as she catches Trinity with a roundhouse before hitting a spine-shattering sidewalk slam.

She drives Trinity into the mat with her knees but Trinity counters and plants her with a headscissor. Trinity turns it into Starstruck and Kamille tries for the roll-up. Trinity locks Starstruck back in but this time Kamille not only breaks it but lifts Trinity up before hitting a Samoan Drop. Trinity is struggling as she tries to recover from it but.........Spear!!! Shelley started the match spitting water into the eyes of Lawlor, but Lawlor power bombed Shelley off the top rope and locked the  Cloverleaf but Shelley managed to drag himself to the ropes to escape, and the crowd showered Lawlor with boos. Lawlor slowed the match down and acted as the bully to Shelley for the next few minutes, including catching Shelley as he jumped from the ropes and turned it into a vertical suplex.

Shelley managed to get Lawlor’s knee caught in the ropes and hit a dragon screw through the ropes to begin an attack on his left leg. Lawlor managed to trap Shelley in the apron and hit a punch before shoving Shelley back first into the ring post. Lawlor hit a snake eyes into the apron on Shelley. Lawlor tried to suplex Shelley to the floor, but Shelley responded with a stunner across the ropes and hit a slingshot stomp to the arm of Lawlor.

Just started following your diary but I'm really enjoying it.  Great Rebellion!  Loved that Kamille captured the KO title and AJ STYLES is BACK!!!!!

Thanks man. Needed someone new at the top after Deonna, Grace and Trinity and Kamille perfectly fit the bill. With Rosa and the Cult of Doom hovering close courtesy Rosa's Ultimate X win, it will be an interesting clash.

TNA GOAT is back! WWE let him go??

Well, i was surprised too. AJ was in my shortlist since the start of the game and once his contract negotiations started, i offered him a sizeable deal but WWE didn't counter offer and the GOAT was back where he belonged.

PREDICTIONS

@Wrestling Machine -  29/34 + 8/9 = 37/43 ~ 86%

 @Vandal -  22/26 + 5/9 = 27/35 ~ 77%

@Dawn - 18/26 + 6/9 = 24/35 ~ 69%

@SonOfSharknado - 13/16 + 5/9 = 18/25 ~ 72%

@CactusHack - 9/10

@Blodyxe - 8/9

@StanMiguel - 6/9

@JaCeLo3 - 6/10

@tryker2710 - 3/7

@KazAlmas - 2/7

@SonOfSharknado is the only person to predict the Ultimate X winner correctly, congratulations. Also, he and @Wrestling Machine were the only one to guess the KO title change so once again congratulations to you two. Which means that my shows are not predictable so hopefully i am doing something right 😁

Double or Nothing was held at Chase Field, Phoenix which had 36000 people in attendance.

Billie Starkz who had shocked the world when she defeated Saraya at Revolution to become the new AEW Women's World champion clocked in 3 defenses including defeating her former mentor Athena but came up short and lost her title to the rapidly improving Diamante who had defeated former champions Saraya and Toni Storm to get to this point. This marked the 3rd different reign in 5 months in 2024 after Saraya and Billie Starkz.

The 8 month long reign of Christian Cage as TNT champion finally came to an end as "NeckStrong" Roderick Strong defeated Cage at Double or Nothing to become the new champion

They were now 2-0 up on former champions at PPV's, having won the title from them at Revolution. Skye Blue continued holding the TBS title and defending it against all comers, her latest being against Toni Storm and Julia Hart in a cage match at Double or Nothing.

Finally, the match that all world was waiting for. The feud between Danielson and MJF started after Revolution when MJF had defeated Danielson in one of the best title matches till date for MJF. Danielson worked his way up to a second chance with big wins against Jay White, Chris Jericho and Adam Copeland and at Double or Nothing finally submitted MJF to become the new world champion.

For the first time in history of Wrestlemania, both Saturday and Sunday was headlined by one man, Logan Paul!! who defended his Universal title first in a highly anticipated rematch against Roman Reigns on Saturday and then against Kevin Owens on Sunday. The World Heavyweight title was also defended twice, with Seth Rollins first winning against the Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes on Saturday and then against Sheamus on Sunday.

Solo Sikoa, who had come out of the Bloodline and formed a massive partnership with Randy Orton which enabled them to become current tag team champions also defended their belts twice, firstly against DIY and then the unlikely pairing of LA Knight and Ilja Dragunov.

Finn Balor defeated Austin Theory and Rey Mysterio for the US title while the only two titles which was not repeated was Women's World title and WWE Women's title where champions Maxxine Dupri and Becky Lynch defended their belts with Dupri defeating Asuka on Saturday and Becky defeating Bayley, Liv Morgan and Jade Cargill in a cage.

I haven't been predicting as I don't know the current TNA roster very well, but wanted to say I've been following along and it's a fun read. Like everyone else I'm surprised you were able to get AJ Styles back so early in the diary! He feels a step above the rest of the roster, so will be interesting to see how you use him.

ROAD TO DESTINATION X

Week 3 April 2024

The fallout of Rebellion began with Xplosion which saw rising stars Renegade Twins make their debut in a loss to Fire-N-Flava. They expressed their desire to get back into the tag title picture but two other teams also sent in their feelers, Hex and MK Ultra. Allysin Kay announced her retirement in three months and wished to ride into the sunset with Marti Belle by her side and holding the KO Tag titles and they started the process by defeating The Rebel Childs, Dani Luna and Jody Threat. MK Ultra also got back into the win column as Killer Kelly defeated JesSICKa and then proceeded to destroy her signalling her intent to the rest of the KO division.

Jake Something made his 1st defense of the Digital Media Championship when he defeated Shera. Afterwards, Crazzy Steve and PCO sneaked on him for trying to stand up to Cult of Doom in the Countdown to Rebellion and carried out a heinous attack.

The main IMPACT on AXS TV opened with the CEO, Scott D'Amore congratulating everyone for one of the best PLE of the year, Rebellion. He also mentioned in detail the World X Cup which was brought back as part of the now revived Destination X event which will be the next PLE offering from TNA and will focus solely on the X Division, the shining jewel of the TNA brand. Six first round matches containing twelve trios will compete over the next three weeks with the six teams contesting the second round and the finals which will have a three way lucha libre trios match where the winning trio will be awarded the World X Cup and the participants will get automatic title shots for the X Division and the Tag Team titles.

He was cut-off by the music of Bullet Club which was followed by Evil Ways which signalled the arrival of AJ Styles. He asks Scott to exit the ring saying people have listened enough to him. It's time for the GOAT of TNA, the face that runs the place to take back his rightful throne at the top of TNA and make them the greatest force in the wrestling industry. He has the backing of the great superstars of the current wrestling scene and together they will make Total Bullet Club, the most decorated and accomplished unit amongst the wrestling fraternity, not the cheapskate no talent hacks that are running around in other companies. Crowd reacts with a big pop as they await Styles first match in TNA ring which is announced next week when Total Bullet Club takes on Aces & Eights in the main event.

Alan Angels gives a backstage interview to Gia Miller where he ponders on his Digital Media Championship reign which put him firmly in the spotlight. He is yearning for that spotlight so he has entered the World X Cup teaming up with Kenny King and Sheldon Jean as they take on the Cult of Doom in the first round which is a scary proposition but he is confident of his abilities.

1st Round

This confidence did not last much long as Cult of Doom basically mauled them out of existence with Angels suffering the brunt of their attacks and The Herald finished him off with the spear earning their ticket for Destination X.

Another team made their debut as Puerto Rican Legend, Carlos Colon f.k.a Carlito and Von Erichs teamed up, dubbing themselves Team Alfa Generation and defeated The Design which had Jake Crist and newly inducted Good Hands.

The Cult of Doom ladies also continued to raise their bar when they destroyed Coven.

Both Grizzled Young Veterans and Subculture presented their case to Joe Hendry to determine which team will accompany Hendry in Team UK's match next week but Hendry presented the best way to resolve this, a tag match between the two with the winner joining him next week. It was Grizzled Young Veterans who triumphed in a great match to make the team.

The main event saw Kamille defending Trinity in the Rebellion rematch and though it did not top their previous encounter, it was nonetheless a good bout with Kamille winning in the end.

ROAD TO DESTINATION X

Week 4 April 2024

Renegade Twins got their first victory as they managed to put down the Rebel Childs while Allysin Kay continued to shine on her road to retirement as she put down JeSICKa who was now pretty down after two back to back losses having suffered a defeat in last week's encounter against Killer Kelly. Fire-N-Flava also earned a major accolade as they defeated Cult of Doom's Su Yung and Holidead when Kiera Hogan hit Holidead with Face The Music. Both Hex and Fire-N-Flava were cutting a straight path towards the KO tag titles.

image.jpeg

1st Round

Shawn Spears, who had parted ways with AEW a month back made his debut as part of Team Canada, teaming up with Eric Young and Mike Bailey but they couldn't taste success as Rascalz trumped them as Reed pinned Spear with the Sky Walker.

The other 1st round match saw Team UK and Team Mexico face off but the communication gap between Hendry and GYV led to their downfall as Vikingo who was teaming with Max Assault pinned Laredo Kid with the 630 Senton.

The Major Empire returned to winning ways as Moose got better of Chris Sabin while Major Players disposed of Kenny King and Sheldon Jean (in BTI). Later on they cut a passionate promo about enough fake ass copycats and boneheads running around. It's time for the Major Empire to make their mark again and remind everyone who the real players are but they were interrupted by Rascals who used their trademark spray cans to almost blind the three before running off.

An unusual tag team match saw Kamille tagging with Deonna Purrazzo to take on Jordynne Grace and Trinity. While the communication gap continued between Grace and Trinity, they managed to win the match as Grace hit the Fall From Grace on Purrazzo after Trinity had hit her with the Rear View. While both had a confrontation, Gail Kim came on stage and announced that at Destination X, Deonna will defend her STRONG Women's title against both Grace and Trinity, the match sanctioned by Alliance body!!!!

A backstage segment saw Wrestling's Most Wanted, Beer Money and Nic Nemeth talking with Gia Miller about how the World X Cup has set their pulses racing and they are yearning for a piece of action. Gia interrupted them saying that three people need to enter the tourney but only Storm and Nemeth are in a position to fight after pointing out Roode having his neckbrace and walking with a crutch. Roode replied "Not anymore!!!" as he ripped apart his neck brace and throw away his crutch announcing that he is fit again and he has got the clearance from doctors. So, Wrestling's Most Wanted are entering the tourney.

Their segment was interrupted by a video which revealed their opponents, TMDK from New Japan as Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste and Robbie Eagles cut promo and mentioned how they would get Wrestling's Most Wanted to kneel before them.

The main event saw AJ Styles in-ring return after a decade and it was a successful one as he hit the Styles Clash on Bully Ray before signaling his intentions for the TNA World Heavyweight title again sending a clear cut message to Alex Shelly before he was interrupted by Moose who said old hacks who were relevant a decade ago can't just come in and waltz their way to a title shot because people like Moose have given their blood and sweat everyday to achieve this position and he will be damned if Styles would get a shot before him. After an intense brawl,

D'Amore arrives to the scene and announces next week's main event, Total Bullet Club vs Major Empire in a six man tag match!!!

ROAD TO DESTINATION X

Week 5 April 2024

The KO tag title race became murkier as SHAWties picked up back-to-back victories over Coven and MK Ultra before storming Kim's office to demand a title shot. They were interrupted by both Fire-N-Flava and Hex and amidst the commotion, Kim had enough as she screamed for everyone to keep quiet before announcing that at Destination X, it would be a 4-way Full Metal Mayhem match for the KO tag titles between Fire-N-Flava, Hex, SHAWties and 1 to 1 Million.

We also got a feud initiated between the Cult of Doom and Nixon Newell as she challenged Kamille for the KO World title but Thunder Rosa along with the Cult of Doom came rushing in with X firmly in Rosa's neck as she shoves it in face of Newell, saying that she is next in line to which Newell asked her to put the X on line but Rosa said she will only put it if Newell beats Su Yung and Holidead.

image.jpeg

1st Round

Wrestling's Most Wanted vs TMDK saw Bobby Rood returning to in-ring action for the first time since he shocked the world by appearing in Hard to Kill at the start of the year before suffering the horrific accident that kept him away for the last 4 months. He had a bit of ring rust but ultimately they prevailed in a highly competitive match.

Time Machine faced off against Team India which saw Bollywood Boyz making their debut and teaming up with Bhupinder Gujjar and this also was very competitive with the Bollywood Boyz almost pulling off the upset in a couple of occasions but ultimately it was the world champ, Shelley who put down Gujjar with the Shell Shock for the win.

The Pillars continued their dominance and grip on the STRONG Openweight tag titles when they defeated the guest team, OneAtos Style of CMLL.

Just like last week, the main event saw AJ Styles and Bullet Club clashing with Major Empire and though Moose put in one hell of an effort, ultimately it all came down to Styles Clash from AJ on Myers for the win.

After getting two back to back pins, AJ Styles then announced that Shelley's time at the top is coming to a close and he needs to keep the belt shiny because at Against All Odds, he will have to put the title on line.

ROAD TO DESTINATION X - GO HOME WEEK

Week 1 May 2024

The go home week started with Nixon Newell in the ring calling out Rosa and saying she crossed the barriers that Rosa had put in front of her, defeating both Holidead and Su Yung and now nothing will stop her from taking on Rosa at Destination X. Just then, two humongous imposing figures walk out of the entrance and intimidate the crowd before coming face to face with Nixon Newell. She felt fear and tried to fight them off but Nixon ate two brutal clotheslines from both of them. She was then hit with a bone crushing senton and splash at which point she started spurting blood from her mouth.

Rosa arrives at the entrance before letting out a sinister laugh. She said you never outrun the Cult. That's why she has chosen the finest daughters of the dark world to join her in the cause. While Nixon may have managed to earn a lucky win or two, when you take on Cult, you are never winning the end game. The masks from the figures come out. They are

image.jpegimage.jpeg

Heidi Howitzer and Max the Impaler, Wasteland War Party, former TJPW Tokyo Princess Tag Team Champions as they lift the body of Nixon letting out a blood curling howl before throwing her lifeless body outside. What a statement made!!!!

The rest of the show focussed on the upcoming four way war between SHAWties, Fire-N-Flava, 1 to 1 Million and Hex as they engaged in a series of matches to gain momentum. While Gisele Shaw started the proceedings winning her triple threat against Marti Belle and Kiera Hogan, Allysin Kay won the other one against Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans. The defending champions ran out at the end of the show to attack before we witnessed a full out brawl between all four teams.

BTI saw Jake Something's quest against Cult of Doom start as he dominated and defeated Crazzy Steve to earn 3rd defense of the Digital Media title before he was subjected to the attack from Cult of Doom. PCO demolishes Something with a legdrop sending Something crashing through the table.

TNA! Impact started with D'Amore announcing three tag team matches which will see all the tag teams of the losing units in World X Cup facing each other with the winner of each match taking ABC for the TNA World Tag titles in a Full Metal Mayhem match. So, both the KO and TNA World Tag titles will now be a Full Metal Mayhem match. It would be Grizzled Young Vets, Bollywood Boyz and Team Canada who would qualify for the tag title match as they defeated TMDK, Good Hands and King and Jean respectively.

The Pillars continued their open challenge for the STRONG Openweight tag titles and this time it was Dirty Blondes from MLW who answered it. They tried hard but the quality difference was massive and Alexander ended this with a C4 Spike on Mike Patrick.

The Alliance body commissioner, Fuka Kakimoto then came into the ring to sign the official championship contract between Purrazzo, Trinity and Grace which saw the signing turn into a nasty brawl between the three.

The main event was a showcase of storytelling at it's finest, as MCMG and Beer Money were facing each other for the first time in almost a decade but they haven't lost a step of the chemistry that they had previously as an eclectic mix of psychology and in ring action presented a tremendous match to audience which the Beer Money won after hitting the DWI to Sabin.

World X Cup Semi Finals: Team Alpha Generation (Carly Colon/The Von Erichs) vs Cult of Doom

The first semi-final in the World X Cup pitted the Cult of Doom against the newly formed Team Alpha Generation - the team of generational superstars, Carlos Colon Jr. (f.k.a Carlito) and The Von Erichs who had been blazing their own path in the World X Cup. While the freaky appearance of the Cult stirred them at first, their family genes and talent took over as Von Erichs and Colon started to dictate the pace of match. A Back Cracker on PCO brought them inches towards the victory but Herald interfered, saving the match.

Von Erichs came to double team Herald but the Cult leader changed gears as he pulled of his power moves, slamming Marshall and Ross outside before a scary top rope flying crossbody dropped them both down. Just as it was looking that Cult of Doom would make their comeback...

Jake Something, The Digital Media champion ran out and while the referee was busy tending to Von Erichs, he hit Into the Void on The Herald and then running powerslams on Steve and PCO. Carly tagged himself in and hit the Back Cracker on PCO to get the win, courtesy of Something.

World X Cup Semi Finals: Team Mexico (Vikingo/Max Assault) vs The Rascals

Max Assault, the team of Black Taurus and Laredo Kid who would team up with their fellow countrymen Vikingo and they had created a huge upset as they defeated Team UK in the 1st round.

They came up with another fan favourite in the tourney - The Rascals. While Reed. Trey and Wentz were upto their usual antics and pulled off the green spray paint over Kid's face and hit the Hot Fire Flame, Taurus stopped the countdown and then hit all three of them hard. With Reed trying to go for the spray paint, Taurus caught him in the act and delivered a humongous buckle bomb which forced the can out of Reed's hand and it shattered on impact, releasing the paint directly and unfortunately right in the face of Miguel and Wentz and Vikingo capitalized by hitting the 630 Senton on Wentz to create another big upset.

World X Cup Semi Finals: Wrestling's Most Wanted vs Time Machine

This was the match that everyone was waiting for, especially after the brilliant tag team match between MCMG and Beer Money in the go home episode of TNA Impact had everybody salivating.

The proceedings started slow with KUSHIDA and Nic Nemeth but things kicked off in high gear as KUSHIDA drives the left shoulder of Nemeth into the steel ring post. KUSHIDA leaps off the top but is caught in mid-air with a Uranage. The fight spills to the outside where Nemeth hits an Implant DDT on the ramp. KUSHIDA hit a top rope moonsault for two and then they tag in their partners. MCMG and Beer Money once again cross paths and the brawling style of Money and the breathless tandem style of MCMG made for an interesting dynamic again.  Shelley hits a Shell Shock on Roode and Sabin hits a cross body but Storm and Nemeth were waiting in the wings.

LAST CALL to Sabin........Superkick to Shelley. Nemeth follows up with a Danger Zone to Sabin and WMW had progressed to finals.

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Title Full Metal Mayhem : Team 1 to 1 Million (c) vs Hex vs Fire-N-Flava vs SHAWties

The first of the two tag title match, these one saw eight of the brightest knockouts fighting to win the belt. Itoh and Yamashita had been holding the belts since the start of the year when they won it at Hard to Kill and they were in their 5th month of being the champion. The impending retirement of Allysin Kay made them the emotional fan favourites with the crowd who wanted Allysin to win the belt for one last time. Hogan and Steelz were on their 2nd attempt, having previously fumbled a direct attempt at the title and Shaw and Evans were ranked outsiders but had the strongest build up prior to this match.

We saw some death defying stunts pulled up by the competitors, especially Steelz and Allysin as they battled each other while holding a belt apiece before scissoring each other and dropping down to the floor below but the belts remained intact. Yamashita flied from a ladder to another preventing Belle and Evans to catch the belt as they crashed through the table kept ringside.

Itoh having saw a clear opening quickly got hold of a ladder and tried to rush towards the top but Shaw met her midway and after some brutal face punch exchanges, Shaw hit an Eat Defeat which forced both of them to crash in the ground. Evans used a ladder as a battering ram and clobbered all the others before she threw it on Kiera Hogan and she buckled under the ladder's weight.

Having destroyed all the ladders, Evans found a smaller one. She first lifted Shaw on her shoulders before passing up the ladder to her. Shaw climbed to the top while Evans was holding it and retrieved the belts before dropping down.!!!!

We had new champions!!!!!

WINNER: SHAWties (new champions)
Grade: 52

STRONG Women's Title : Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Jordynne Grace vs Trinity

This was more the story of the progressing hatred between Grace and Trinity rather than Purrazzo's title defense and this was showcased for the large portion of the match as Grace and Trinity unloaded on each other without paying heed to Purrazzo who was being punished whenever she tried to interfere.

This played into Purrazzo's hands as once Grace got the upper hand when she hit Trinity with the Juggernaut Driver, she moved in swiftly and dispatched Grace with the Queen's Gambit before locking in the Fujiwara Armbar on Trinity and she had no choice but to tap out.

WINNER: Deonna Purrazzo (defense #4)

TNA World Tag Team Title Full Metal Mayhem : ABC (c) vs Bollywood Boyz vs Grizzled Young Vets vs Team Canada 2.0

These replicated their Knockout counterparts in high intensity action and death defying action.

Bailey was the show stopper and his highlight was hitting the Ultima Weapon from the top of a 30 foot ladder on Harv Sihra crashing both of them through the table. Young also matched his team mate as he soared over the top of the ropes to hit a elbow drop on Drake.

Multiple attempts at climbing the ladder was seen but the real chance came at the hands of Gibson who started climbing and almost reached the top rung before Bey came flying in with the Art of Finesse that took him and Gibson out of the ring. Austin had a clear shot at the title and he climbed and retrieved the titles to successfully defend their title for the 9th time.

WINNER: ABC (defense #9)

STRONG Openweight Tag Title : The Pillars (c) vs 5150 (Danny Rivera/Slice Boogie)

Yet another tag team from MLW made it's way to challenge for the Openweight tag titles as Rivera and Boogie from 5150 came in to the ring. A standard match which heightened the difference in talent as Maclin and Alexander were far above in quality than their rivals.

Boogie tried hard to match the physicality of Maclin and Alexander but in the end, it was too much for him and Alexander hit the C4 Spike on Rivera to defend their title for the 7th defense.

WINNER: The Pillars (defense #7)
Grade: 50

World X Cup Finals : Team Alpha Generation vs Team Mexico vs Wrestling's Most Wanted

There was a definite drop in quality as all three teams arrived into the finals having already wrestled a high intensity match earlier. While Carly Colon and Von Erichs were the freshest having got the maximum rest between matches, it was Vikingo who stole the show as he hit the hurricanrana on both Nemeth and then Marshall Von Erich.

Taurus and Roode clashed in a battle of tanks as they exchanged chops and while Black Taurus won the exchange with a pop-up Samoan Drop, Storm saved the day for his partner as he hit the Last Call superkick but in turn got hit with a poison rana from Laredo Kid.

A Back Cracker from Carly Colon followed but he could not capitalize as Nemeth returned and hit the Superkick on him before hitting the same to both the Von Erichs. He was taken out by Vikingo but by that time, Bobby Roode had come back.

Laredo Kid went for a springboard poison rana but he was hit with a lariat mid air before Roode hit the Pay Off to win the match and the World X Cup.

WINNER: Wrestling's Most Wanted (World X Cup 2024 Winner)
Grade: 36

Storm, Roode and Nemeth then joined at the centre and celebrated with the crowd drinking beers before Storm declared that the Most Wanted era is here. Beer Money will be cashing their World X Cup win by challenging ABC for the tag titles at Against All Odds. So, A Bloated piece of Cunt, sorry about your damn luck!!!!

 WINNER: Team Mexico
Grade: 55

 WINNER: Wrestling's Most Wanted
Grade: 59

Grade: 57

Grade: 63

Grade: 50

Little sad about Allysin Kay retiring without winning the tag titles again but it is what it is.

Glad Deonna retained and I'm hoping Wrestling's Most Wanted takes the titles at Against All Odds.

Great show!

Great show!

Well her performance was way below the mark from the last couple of months and i tried to push her as a nostalgia but it was too far fetched. Wrestling's Most Wanted is certainly developing as a big main event heel unit.

ROAD TO AGAINST ALL ODDS

Week 3 May 2024

The 17th episode of Xplosion began with an ugly argument backstage between Grace and Trinity, both of them blaming each other for coming in each other's way. The enmity between them had been brewing for some time now but it all came to head at Destination X last Saturday as neither of them won the STRONG Women's title and screwed each other.  While both of them were arguing with each other, in walks Kamille as she smirks and says that they can only fight like kittens with each other but at the end of the day, Kamille runs the division as the champion and shoving the belt in their faces, she screams that this is the closest that they will get towards the title.

SHAWties had a welcome party on account of winning the KO tag titles but they were rudely interrupted by the former champion, Team 1 to 1 Million as Yamashita reminds her that they still have their rematch clause and this week on Thursday, they are exercising their clause so SHAWties reign will last a total of about 3 days until they get their title back.

We had a blockbuster main event as Miyu Yamashita had a huge upset win over Jordynne Grace as Trinity screwed her again, sneaking in while the referee was busy and hit her with the modified headscissor driver to knock her out. Yamashita caught her with the Brazilian Kick to win.

Jake Something continued lighting up BTI with his Digital Media title defenses as this time he got better of Rich Swann who was competing after almost a month and a half but the feud between Something and Cult of Doom continued as The Herald runs in while Something was going up the ramp and spears him as Something crashes into the equipment below.

The main IMPACT on AXS TV once again opened with the CEO, Scott D'Amore congratulating Wrestling's Most Wanted for winning the World X Cup and then making the World Tag Team title match official - it will be ABC defending against Beer Money. He also announces the return of ranking series which will first start with the tag team division as a number of new teams have all come up in TNA recently and majority of them are signed, citing Von Erichs and Bollywood Boyz as examples. This brought out Bullet Club as AJ Styles led ABC to the center. He give fake congratulations to Beer Money and Nemeth before Austin and Bey took over and say they are never going to get the title away from the grip of ABC.

The Tag Ranking series started the action part of the show as Bollywood Boyz defeated Von Erichs in the battle of newcomers while long term absentees, Subculture returned to TNA and to winning ways as they got better of the Max Assault.

The rematch for the KO tag titles happened and just as it seemed like Yamashita and Itoh would get back their titles, we had another sneak attack in the form of their perennial rivals and new members of the Cult, Wasteland War Party as Heidi Howitzer and Max the Impaler hit big pop-up Samoan Drops to both before Shaw capitalized, hitting the Eat Defeat to Itoh.

Another major attraction was the open challenge series that Deonna had going for their STRONG title and this time she came face to face with Mickie James who almost came close to prying the title away from Deonna but she bounced back and submitted James with the Fujiwara Armbar, finally silencing the ghosts of the past and defeating James who have been victorious over Deonna on previous three occasions.

The main event saw Styles beating Sabin in another monumental clash and then he called out D'Amore and then reminded him of his challenge last week, the one-on-one world title match against Shelley. Scott mentions if he wants to get handouts, then things are done here differently to which AJ jogs his memories that since coming back, they have defeated Major Empire and Aces-N-Eights and now Sabin. What other proof does he need? Alex Shelley comes out and says that a final test is pending, MCMG vs Styles and any one of his BC cronies. If Styles win, the title match is on.
