KyTeran
Jon Moxley vs Sammy Guevara VS Is this the sort of style that you were looking for? To add the pictures, take your image file and drag it into the post and for bold I usually just use the Bold button that is on top of the forum post to get the effect, though sometimes I have had to refresh the page to get it to work or just click the bold button before typing what you want to say. I hope that this helps and that I was able to explain it properly.

Should have the first two shows up in the next day or two then.

Nobby_McDonald
PRE SHOW Aaron Solo beat Brandon Cutler in 6:02 by pinfall with a Flying Dropkick. 38 Dynamite Wednesday, week 1, January 2024 Alario Center, Westwego, Louisiana (2,400 capacity) We start the first AEW show of 2024 in the ring, where Tony Khan stands in the middle. He tells the AEW fans in attendance and at home that he doesn’t just have a major announcement… he has a major, major announcement. He says starting next week is All Elite Wrestling league, a league of nine teams of five wrestlers, three men and two women will face each other in men’s singles, tag and trios and women’s singles and tag. A winning team scores 3 points and a draw scores both teams 1 point. Each match will have a 20 minute time limit and while licenced managers are allowed at ringside, everybody else is banned. He says this exciting innovation to professional wrestling will excite current fans and bring new ones to the sport and All Elite Wrestling and the action kicks off on Dynamite next week. He says he’s not finished… he then announces changes to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. This year, every single man and woman on the All Elite Wrestling roster will enter the tournament with each round having a random draw and it will start Saturday night on Collision. Tony Khan finishes by saying he can’t wait to give the fans elite wrestling for the whole of 2024. 50 Tony Khan worked the crowd well, benefiting from public support. v Billie Starkz v 'The Professor' Serena Deeb A decent match saw Deeb out wrestler her opponent who is half the age she is. Her win came in 7:51 by pinfall with a Spear. 57 Serena Deeb is in amazing form. Backstage and we see Blackpool Combat Club take in turns saying they welcome the competition the new league and Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will bring and it is time to “beat people up” (Moxley) and “kick people’s heads in” (Danielson) 69 v Best Friends & Orange Cassidy (International champion) v Top Flight & Action Andretti Orange Cassidy beat Action Andretti (I missed the write up!) 63 Sting and Darby Allin come down to the ring, accompanied by Ric Flair. Sting says the time is nearly here to retire and he will go out where Ric Flair helped make him a star… at Revolution at the Greensboro Coliseum. Darby reminds Sting they are undefeated as a tag team and suggests to Sting that they go after the World Tag Team Championship. Sting likes the idea and tells Ricky Starks and Big Bill that it will soon be showtime. 72 v AR Fox v Killswitch (with Christian Cage In a short match, Killswitch dominated Fox, winning with The Betrayal by pinfall in 5:13 34 Following the match, Renee Paquette interviews Christian Cage. He says he is the father of The Patriarchy and that he will be the TNT champion for as long as he wants to be. 44 v 'The Virtuosa' Deonna Purrazzo v Mariah May In a sub par match with little crowd reaction, Purrazzo beat May in 11:10 by submission with a Venus di Milo. 51 Purrazzo far out performed May 58-35 May benefitted from public support. Samoa Joe’s music hits and out walks the new World Heavyweight champion. He tells the former champion MJF that it was only business, it was nothing personal. He (Joe) wanted the World Championship and he was going to take it by any means necessary. Joe is then cut off first by Adam Page making his entrance and then before Page can speak, Swerve Strickland comes to the ring with Prince Nana. Both men make a case to challenge Joe for the champion. Page points out he is a former champion while Strickland reminds Page that he has beaten him twice. Joe isn’t impressed and tells them both to win matches and go to the championship committee to see if they think they deserve a title shot. 71 Strickland’s “Who’s house?” catchphrase is very over. v Dark Order (Reynolds & Silver) v The Gunn Club A decent match saw The Gunns win when Colten pinned Reynolds in 12:28 by pinfall following a 3:10 to Yuma. This was despite John Silver carrying the match with his in ring performance. 54 John Silver’s performance was much better than everyone else (60, Reynolds next best at 50). Both teams have great chemistry. Backstage and the World Tag Team champions are showing off their gold. Ricky Starks and Big Bill aren’t impressed with “Sting’s retirement roadshow” and they will have no problem sending the icon into an unhappy retirement. 56 Ricky Starks benefitted from being the flavour of the month. v TNT Championship 'The Patriarch' Christian Cage (champion) v 'All Ego' Ethan Page Cage was far the better than Page in a decent match where Cage grabbed the win by pinfall with a handful of tight in 12:50. Cage makes defence number 1 of the TNT Championship. 66 – match of the night Cage far out performed Page 67-50 Renee Paquette interviews Adam Copeland backstage. Copeland tells Christian Cage if he thinks it’s over after World’s End last Sunday then he’s wrong. Copeland says he doesn’t care if Cage wants him to get to the back of the line, he will and he goes on to issue an open challenge to anybody who wants to step up and stop him… and when The Cope Open ends, he will end Christian Cage. 65 v Jon Moxley v Sammy Guevara A decent match and a good crowd saw Jon Moxley win the main event in 13:47 by submission with a Bulldog Choke. 65 Moxley was really off his game. Nobby_McDonald
Draft round 4... @Dawn and @WooItsNathan I'm awaiting picks for. I have Collision matches done and ready to be put into game. I'm waiting on angles as I want all the angle segments to be team reveals. I may do this after round 4 and have the fifth picks as surprises for the fans, but then I can't start Dynamite next week and the first round of matches until all picks are done anyway. We may also have a tenth team as @Dmill139 has expressed interest in the original idea thread of joining. I've explained to them that the draft is already well under way and while he or she is more than welcome to join, they will have to pick their wrestlers after the draft has finished. Let's see what they want to do. Edited February 22 by Nobby_McDonald
Nobby_McDonald
Dawn's pick is in. Waiting on @WooItsNathan I can't do what I did last time as when I picked his next preference from round 2 for round 3, it was his third male wrestler and as yet he's not put any females down in any round. So I'm going to need his pick before we can go to round 5.

Nobby_McDonald
PRE SHOW Ari Daivari beat Anthony Ogogo in 5:31 by pinfall with a Magic Carpet Ride. 39 Collision Saturday, week 1, January 2024 Watsco Center, Coral Gables, Florida (3,900 capacity) We start 2024's first episode of Collision with Renee Paquette backstage. She introduces what she says should be the first four members of Team Martel 123 for the first season of All Elite Wrestling League, but says there are only two as she stands with World champion Samoa Joe and one of his top contenders Swerve Strickland. Renee asks the pair what is going on? Strickland starts by saying we are all in Swerve's House and then says he doesn't want Joe on his team, he wants his championship. Joe responds by saying he doesn't want to be on Swerve's team either but they've been picked so when it comes down to business, Joe is all business and will get the job done. As for the others, Joe has been told by his manager that all is in hand and new signings are going to be joining Team Martel 123 soon. 66 v Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round 'Hangman' Adam Page v Kyle Fletcher (with Don Callis) In a decent match and what can be considered a significant upset, the young and promising Fletcher beat the former World champion Page in 8:35 by pinfall with a Tombstone Piledriver. 62 Page outperformed Fletcer 69-57 Don Callis did good work at ringside. Tony Schiavone is backstage and he introduces the four members of The Spooky Club and into shot walk Malakai Black, Danhausen, TBS champion Julia Hart and The Icon Sting. Malakai remarks that while only half the House is in this team, he does see the team as a good fit. Danhausen remarks that they are a great mix of very good and very evil. Sting says he can't wait for the All Elite Wrestling League to start and it will soon be show time before Julia Hart finishes the group's comments by telling everyone to remember The Club always wins. Schivaone remarks that while they are a wild and wacky group, they do all seem to be on the same page. 56 After a commercial break we remaining in the backstage interview area, only this time we see Renee Paquette with Kip Sabian, Bandido and The Butcher. Sabian does all the talking, saying he's happy he has The Butcher on his team but he doesn't know why Bandido is here. Renee asks about the fourth member, to which Sabian replies that he has no idea, he's not heard from his manager since signing for Team WooItsNathan. Butcher says he has no idea either and Bandido simply shrugs his shoulders. 53 v La Facion Ingobernables v Mogul Embassy (with Prince Nana) In a poor match, Mogul Embassy won in 10:21 when Cage pinned Dralistico with a Weapon X. In terms of ring work, Rush was head and shoulders above everyone else. 55 Rush outperformed everyone (66, next best Dralistico and Cage 55) Preston Vance was really off his game (36) Toa Liona was bad (29) Tony Schiavone is backstage and introduces the next team in All Elite Wrestling League, The Peak of Perfection. With him stand MJF, Thunder Rosa, Jay White and Killswitch. Schiavone remarks that this is quite a team. MJF and White do most of the talk while Killswitch says nothing. White remarks that while they aren't the Bang Bang Gang, they will make a formidable team. Rosa says she's pleased there are two former world champions in the team. MJF finishes by saying The Peak of Perfection are better than you... and you know it. 65 v 'Cool Hand Ang' Angelo Parker & 'Daddy Magic' Matt Menard v The Kingdom (with Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Wardlow) A decent match saw The Kingdom win when Taven pinned Menard in 7:21 with a Hail Mary. 53 Matt Taven seemed off his game (53) Next we have Renee Paquette with TV Network. She remarks she's yet to see a team of four tonight and asks Johnny TV, Will Ospreay and Taya Valkyrie what's going on. Johnny tells Renee not to worry, they have a former world champion joining their ranks soon. Ospreays says he hopes so, he doesn't want to keep being the gooseberry of the team. 60 Tony Schiavone is backstage in the production area and he introduces Team Dawn. Darby Allin does not look happy, telling Ricky Starks he doesn't like him and telling Christian Cage he hates him. The three get into some verbals though a big thing the team does have is the reigning TNT champion and one half of the World Tag Team champions. Toni Storm finishes by saying she loves the drama and let the cameras roll. 66 v Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament Preliminary Round Kris Statlander v Saraya Quite a match up for what Excalibur explains is the only preliminary round match due to numbers in the women's tournament. It was a decent match, which Statlander won to progress in 14:19 by pinfall with a Big Bang Theory. 55 Kris Statlander has a strong connection with the young female demographic who enjoyed her winning. She also benefitted from being flavour of the month. Saraya is in extremely poor form. The next team we are introduced to is Team PH71. Standing with Renee Paquette is her husband Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Hikaru Shida and a man who is clearly very pissed off and doesn't want to be there at all, Eddie Kingston. Kingston says this, saying he hates Danielson and can't stand being on his team, it pisses him off. Danielson retorts back saying Kingston doesn't deserve to be on their team. Moxley tries to break the two up but Mox being Mox he ends up making the situation worse before Shida brings all three men to a sudden halt by smashing her kendo stick into the interview set, saying "Enough, we must be a team". Paquette finishes by saying this could be a very interesting team. 70 v Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round Eddie Kingston v Max Caster (World Trios champion, with Anthony Bowens & Daddy Ass) Cameras follow Kingston as he leaves the interview to the ring and a clearly still angry Kingston takes out his frustration on Caster. Kingston's barrage was near relentless and it helped him to advance in 10:33 by pinfall with a Huracan. 62 Kingston outperformed Caster 71-55 Caster benefitted from public support and being flavour of the month. Tony Schiavone is backstage and introduces Team KyTeran who consist of Claudio Castagnoli, Athena, Ruby Soho and Penta El Zero Miedo. Claudio says while he does want to be with his Blackpool Combat Club, he does like the make up of this team, it's a team that will bring the fight to anyone. Athena and Soho say they will make a good pair in the women's side of the league with Penta says cero miedo. 58 v TBS Championship Julia Hart (champion, with Brody King) v Mercedes Martinez A decent crowd but sub par action saw Hart make defence number 4 of her championship by defeating Martinez in 10:49 by pinfall. 44 Martinez outperformed Hart 52-33 Renee Paquette is backstage. She's been a busy woman tonight and she is here to introduce the last entrants in the All Elite Wrestling League, Black Lotus. Next to her stand. Adam Copeland, Konsuke Takeshita, Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander. Copeland says he likes this team, he has two tough women in Hayter and Statlander, one of AEW's brightest young stars in Takeshita and the Rated R Superstar himself. He tells Takeshita if he leaves Don Callis at home, he can see them winning the league. 62 v Bryan Danielson v Malakai Black (with Julia Hart) The main event was comfortably the best of the show, thanks greatly to the American Dragon. He won a good match in 16:21 by pinfall with a Busaiko Knee. 78 - match of the night Danielson far outperformed Black 86-58 Show rating: 72 AEW increased popularity in 10 regions Attendance: 2,777 TV rating: 0.86 (645,797 viewers and 794,037 overall) QUICK RESULTS Bryan Danielson beat Malakai Black Julia Hart beat Mercedes Martinez to retain the TBS Championship Eddie Kingston beat Max Caster in Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round Kris Statlander beat Saraya in Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament Preliminary Round The Kingdom beat Angelo Parker & Matt Menard Mogul Embassy beat La Facion Ingobernables Kyle Fletcher beat Adam Page in Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round Edited February 25 by Nobby_McDonald

Nobby_McDonald
League news and ideas I had an idea while I was at work last night and that is to increase the team size to 4 men and 3 women. This will allow much easier cover for when wrestlers are injured, suspended or leave (you won't need to sign a temporary replacement unless two men or two women become unavailable) and also give you as managers choice for your mens trios and womens tag matches. At the moment you use your whole mens/womens squad for the men's trios and women's tag matches so you have no element of choice once signings are made. The format of the matches remain the same - men's singles, tag and trios and women's singles and tag - against every other team. With 9 teams in the league this will give 40 matches in total. If the league expands beyond 10 teams for season 2, then the lower positioned teams will move to the lower division. How many will be determined by how many teams there will be and therefore how the leagues are split. I also then had the idea of putting this idea to a vote. With 9 managers, a simple majority vote will win. So here are the two voting options. OPTION 1 - Keep the squads at 3 men and 2 women and sign temporary replacements when somebody becomes unavailable. OPTION 2 - Increase the squads to 4 men and 3 women. These signings will be made after the draft has finished and will be done on a first come first served basis by private message. So the order they appear in my inbox will be the order I take the signings. If this option wins the vote, I will say when this signing window can start. Anything received early than when I post here will be discounted. I've also decided there will be a transfer/signing window mid season when you can change your squad as many times as you want for any reason. This window will start when a majority of teams have wrestled 16 matches and will end when a majority of teams have wrestled 24 matches. Signings at any other time will not be allowed unless you don't have enough wrestlers to compete in a match where you can sign a temporary replacement. Please vote on the forum, not by private message. Some people have picked wrestlers who are unavailable. I shall shortly post who they are and the amount of time they remain unavailable as of the game, which is one day before the season starts. I shall also shortly post the first week's of fixtures so you can start thinking of who your first choices will be.
