I'm split, I do prefer some of the older versions of the renders compared to the new ones, and some like Quentin Queen's are both so good that it's hard to decide. I currently have a backlog of another 250 that need cutting and sizing! What Will The Pack Eventually Include? Currently, I'm circa 2,200 (as of 3/8) characters deep in reworking my previous images, prioritising those who are currently signed to companies. The focus is on getting commonly sized, well-lit and front-facing images and in some cases, giving a little more character to the previous images that shipped with the Cornellverse. Equally, now I have sight of the actual database, I can actually be more specific on the characters given I can see their circumstances. A lot of the focus has been on reworking the Japanese, masked and female wrestlers which I felt were among the weaker renders. Within the pack you'll get a few things which you can choose to use, or not... Transparent GIFs Solid JPG (TEW Blue Background) BB Colossus / Electric Dreamer / Flash Savage / Troy Tornado / The Minor Annoyance Transparent GIFs in the current style Possibly! Convince me...but if I do I'll want to put them all on a consistent background (that isn't the blue, since that already exists). I've been playing around with the below, but make no promises that this will happen. So for those who can't imagine what that might end up looking like, it'll be like this... New unassigned worker images They'll just be dropped into THIS FOLDER periodically. No cuts, no backgrounds, not resized - I'll let you do that! New company logos (Unlikely to be the final version, but thought I'd share a few early drafts) New company backdrops (This is pretty low priority) New loading screens (These will be uploaded here, but below are some examples) New Cornellverse intro screens (This is will be done once I've finalised all the characters) The TEW Image Creation GPT Yup, it's what it sounds like. I've built a custom made GPT that will create perfect image prompts for you that will mirror this style. It works in several different ways and can use computer vision to look at and create prompts for existing images, create new ones itself or follow your simple instructions to build your own. Before you ask, I haven't decided when this will be released (or if), but it does exist. What are the images based on? I've used the previous TEW 2020 base graphics for now. My goal was always to keep the characters familiar to begin with, rather than reimagining characters we've all fallen in love with. That being said, some simply HAD to be updated where the image doesn't match the character's stats, and it's those stats I've tried to stick by, in order to keep the images as true to the database as possible. If you know of any wicked alts or people that you think are awesome, please flag them and maybe the original creator will allow us to use a photorealistic version. When Will It Be Ready? When I'm 100% happy with it. That could be five years away, it could be a week. I'm hoping it'll be more like the latter than the former. Can We Make Requests? Yes, but I'll do those once the database is finished and this isn't an alt thread, so if you want "X in a suit" or "add sunglasses", that'll be for the other forum. I'd also like any feedback on characters you think look "off", can be improved, or that you just flatly think I've gotten something wrong on. What will they look like in game? 1PWfan Posted August 3 Share Posted August 3 I'm loving these so far, though the new Ron South (NYCW's lead announcer) looks about 10 years too old (he's only 36 in the game and his new pic looks middle aged) and I don't love how goofy the default Crockett Tubbs image is, the pout and big glasses look a bit too comedy for me.
