Well for one, you don't need to include Ohio Valley to have a developmental for WWF. USWA, United States Wrestling Association was WWF's developmental promotion in 1993.
That is exactly the kind of information I am looking for. I didn't see any notes of that while looking USWA over so that helps. Keep the info coming!

Again thanks for the input and please continue to share whatever you know about the time period. Community input is the key to a great mod.
Oh one more thing I just noticed, it's an October 1993 date right? ECW would still be Eastern Championship Wrestling at that point.
I took some creative license on that one. They didn't officially turn to Extreme Championship Wrestling until late '94 but Heyman took booking control in Sept 93 and that is when the hardcore "edge" begin in my opinion and I felt most users would want to use them as Extreme Championship but yes you are correct on the actual date of the switch over.

Starting out before things went Extreme could allow players to take the promotion in an entirely different direction, if they wanted.

shameless, then change it in the editor before you start playing. ;) Canadian promotions, eh? Try: West Coast Championship Wrestling (Promoter was Mark Vellios and they did shows in B.C.) West Four Wrestling Alliance (which would later become the International Wrestling Alliance, it was promoted by Tony Condello and ran out of Manitoba. http://slam.canoe.ca/SlamWrestlingBios/condello.html) Canadian Wrestling Connection (Dunno if it was still around by '93, Lance storm got his start with them) Canadian Rocky Mountain Wrestling

Plus part of the fun is trying to research these obscure promotions. I agree that ECW should be Eastern. Whilst I set both USWA and SMW as developmental territories for WWF, it would have been more accurate to have them in a 'working agreement' as they really only traded talent. There were not Development places at all.

Central Canadian Pro Wrestling (CCPW) out of Manitoba was around in '93 as was Wayne Stanton's River City Wrestling out of Winnepeg. Both should have some good info available, expecially CCPW... also RCW was bought out by the CWF so there may some info on their site.

The Title Histories are now being worked on by Ghetto Anthony. While he is getting that down, I am getting all of the workers currently in the mod on the right rosters, etc. From there I will release a beta version and people can really start giving me some feedback. We are probably going to need to add a 100 or more additional workers to fill up the UK and Euro Feds plus increase the overall number of female workers. Again if you can help with anything let me know, otherwise check back here later in the week and hopefully I will have a file up for download.

Might save some time? Stampede was not in operation.
shameless, then change it in the editor before you start playing. ;)
Going by that logic, though, it'd make more sense to leave the company as Eastern Championship Wrestling. Not only is it historically accurate, but you can also change it in the editor before you start playing. :)

I just noticed an error on the WCW roster from the worker database in this mod. In this data, the 'King Kong' character/gimmick is portrayed by Angelo Mosca. Mosca's gimmick was " Angelo 'King Kong' Mosca " - as in Jake 'The Snake' Roberts not just 'the Snake' - also - Mosca never wrestled in WCW. Mosca would've been 55 by 1993, I would assume he would've been an 'occasional wrestler' or even 'retired wrestler'. He had been a color commentator for the WWF who was replaced by Jessie Ventura in 1985, and I believe he was beginning to get into the promoting side of things by 1993. The correct guy is Scott Thompson, who played the 'King Kong' gimmick. I'm pretty sure WCW quickly changed this to 'Krusher Kong' due to threat of a lawsuit to do with copyright infringments (the movie monster). Scott Thompson/Krusher Kong had a partner too! 'Awesome Kong' who was played by Dwayne McCullough. They wrestled as 'The Kongs', or 'The Colossal Kongs' and were managed by Harley Race in WCW. They appeared on PPVS (even Starrcade), normally jobbing to the top guys - but would SQUASH lower tier guys. I always thought with the right push and Race as manager (in the same faction as Vader) they could've really got over as monster heels. These guys will have to be 'created'. They're not in the database! Info on Dwayne 'Awesome' McCullough: http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/a/awesome-kong.html Info on Scott 'Krusher/King" Thompson http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/k/krusher-kong.html I know wrestler weights were exaggerated in the early 90's. If guys like Vader are 400-450 in this database, these guys need to be pushing 500. They were huge!! (You can probably see in the pics). Hope this helps. Sorry if it's too long winded, just wanted to make sure you had what you need! You never would've have guessed I'm a BIG early 90's WCW mark would you? ;) :D

Once I get this mod up for download please take a strong look over WCW and let me know any changes I can make. I will be adding the Kong boys ASAP!

A few more! 'Joseph Hamilton' who wrestled as the 'Assassin' was managing Paul Orndoff in WCW in the latter months of 1993. It was a masked wrestler gimmick, I don't think he ever stepped foot in the ring in WCW, so best make him a manager He was head of the WCW Power Plant at this time. D.O.B. was August 1938. He's also the Father of referee Nick Patrick (which is a stage name). Wahey! A new relation! For his pic and some info. http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/a/assassin.html Robert 'Colonel Parker' Fuller was born in 1951. I think his age is a little out in the original mod. I noticed there wasn't a pic for him in the mod. There's one here. http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/r/robert-fuller.html Unfortunately it isn't as the Colonel Parker character which was white suit, white hat I believe. Bill Dundee was managing Lord Steven Regal in a butler gimmick as 'Sir William' he would attack Regal's opponents with an umbrella. Again, there was no photo in the mod -this one isn't in gimmick either - but it's a pic. http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/b/bill-dundee.html Another addition to the workers would be 'Tyler Mane' (the guy who played Sabretooth in the X-men movie). He began as Woman's bodyguard 'Nitron' when WCW was still WCW of the NWA 1990. He worked as 'Big Sky' in WCW during 1993, often teamed with the recently WWF-departed Kevin Nash. His official site says he retired from wrestling in 1999. His date of birth seems to be unknown, but I'd say around Kevin Nash's age (DOB 1959) - slightly younger I expect. Reports suggest he was green (debut 1989) and his ability was limited. He did have 'the look' though, matching Nash at 6'10 and I would've said pretty much the same in weight. Seeing as he's now an established hollywood actor, I wouldn't thought he was desperately short of charisma or acting skills either. Though I don't remember him talking on the mic once, and seeing as this was 1993 - I wouldn't go to overboard with these ratings! :) If my memory serves me correctly, he used the big boot a lot, and his finisher was the Helicopter Slam. By October 1993, I'm pretty sure he's a free agent and not with WCW though. Once again, our friends at Obsessed can supply the pics! http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/b/big-sky.html EDIT:- Another worker (quite a well known one at that too), that I just remembered:- Tony Atlas Most well known for his 80's WWF tag team tenure with Rocky Johnson (the Rock's dad I believe!) Had a stint in WCW in 1992. Former bodybuilder powerhouse type wrestler. 6ft 2inch, 261lbs. First person to pin Hulk Hogan. Better as a heel than a face. http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/t/tony-atlas.html Kevin Kelly (Real Name) Nailz (WWF) aka The Prisoner (WCW one match stint in May 93) http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/n/nailz.html A free agent in Oct 1993 I believe. He burnt his bridge with McMahon in 1992 when he choked McMahon till he was blue in the face, and he would go onto to try and sue and testify against McMahon till 1996. McMahon and Kelly really need to strongly dislike each other I think. Maybe even hate?
