  1. I picked up Banished and I played it a bit this past weekend. I thought it was a really cool game that I'll have to put more time into. Seems like you can do quite a bit in that game. I definitely need to work harder on getting resources and not overwhelming my people with tons of buildings to build. I tend to try and build too much too fast in games like that. That's always my downfall.
  2. I think the PS4 and Xbox One will have a virtual console similar to the Wii and Wii U. Of course they'll make you re-buy the games you once owned (at a reduced price I'm sure). I'm not too upset about getting rid of my old consoles because I have a hard time of going back to games after I beat them or play it for so long. I remember way too much, so those older games become repetitive because I remember everything that happened. Watch Dogs was an excellent game. I bought it the day it came out for my 360 and I played it nonstop until beating the story. I thought the overall game was excellent (never once did I compare it to the GTA series either, because it isn't the same at all). The only comparison is that it's an open-world game... the comparisons end there though. I think that game was very creative and had a lot of extra side missions. I loved WD so much that I'll be buying a used copy for my Xbox One pretty soon.
  3. What console are you playing on? Still trying to find someone to play a season with me on XBOX One!!
  4. Does anyone have an XBOX One? My Live GT is Roddy07 - I have Madden 15 and would love to get a league going with somebody (either playing as a created coach, player, or owner). I'm a Titans fan and would definitely use them as an owner or created coach.
  5. Same here. I enjoy watching WWE PPVs every month. They always have something I want to see. For $10/mo its a no-brainer. Getting to watch older matches and shows is just a bonus in my opinion. They have a lot of material on the WWE Network and continue to roll out new and old.
  6. Del Rio is better off without WWE. If the occurrence was that an employee made a disparaging remark about Del Rio, he was fully within his right to confront the employee the way that he did. The lines get blurred when he 'assaulted' the co-worker. In every day life, what he did was stick up for himself - I see nothing wrong with that. In the business world - you stick your tail between your legs and be the smarter man. Did the guy deserve to be slapped? If he said what he said, refused to apologize and smirk? He deserved a hell of a lot more. Del Rio should have reported him for harassment. If WWE did nothing about it (which I believe they wouldn't) he'd have a pretty good shot at a lawsuit.
  7. I would take Bray Wyatt over Roman Reigns any day of the week. I saw Reigns at a live event a month ago and was completely unimpressed with his performance. Rollins and Ambrose carried him throughout The Shield's existence in my opinion. Not really sure why WWE always has to go with the big buff guy as the top face. And I'm not happy how Wyatt continually lost to Cena in their feud. Would it have really done much damage to Cena for him to put Wyatt over? I think DiBiase's assessment of Lesnar ending the streak is spot on. Does absolutely nothing for a character who is already insanely popular.
  8. I won some tickets on a radio show this morning to a UFC show here in Bangor, ME on August 16th (first time coming to Maine). I've never really watched MMA or been interested in it. Seems like it'll be a fun night of fights though (from what I see on the UFC site).
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Swanton825" data-cite="The Swanton825" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I enjoyed the first tag match and the first MitB match, everything else just bored me out of my mind.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Could not agree with you more. The opening tag match was really good and had me pumped for a good show. I'm glad WWE Network lets me pause and go do other things because I skipped the diva's and Rose/Sandow stuff, along with other stuff later in the night. The first MITB match was really good. Some awesome spots that I really enjoyed. Besides that the show was pretty blah (<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />).</p><p> </p><p> I had high hopes for the title match. I knew deep down that Cena was going to win... it was in Mass after all. I just hoped that WWE would go in a different direction. I truly wanted Bray Wyatt to win but I knew it wouldn't happen. In my opinion The Wyatt Family should have left last night with all of them touching gold.</p>
  10. I enjoyed the PPV last night. I thought the opening match between Cesaro and Sheamus was excellent. The RVD/Barrett match was also well done. I went to bed before the main event, so from what I saw, the Cena/Wyatt match stole the show. The stairs from Cena over the top rope to nail Wyatt was an incredible spot. I think Bray looked very strong coming back from that. When I woke up this morning I couldn't believe that Evolution put the Shield over the way they did. I'm impressed with HHH, Orton and Batista for letting these younger guys get back to back PPV wins. Overall I thought it was a decent show. I wouldn't have paid PPV money to watch it, so having the WWE Network is awesome.
  11. Completely agree. A moment I will never forget. If they wanted people to remember it forever and always think "why the hell did they do that?" - they accomplished it.
  12. A part of me died last night with the streak. WrestleMania (as I know it) will never be the same anymore. I understand the streak needed to end some day (OK, no I don't) but it shouldn't have been Lesnar in my opinion (unless he's staying around full time now). They should have built this for someone who could really gain something from it. What does Lesnar get from that win? Nothing. He's already a beast whose extremely over. It was definitely a WM moment for the ages. One that will never be beat in my opinion. When that ref hit the "3" - that crowd was speechless, the commentary was speechless... the look on everyone's face said it all. I have a ton of respect for 'Taker - willing to drop his legacy. From a guy whose always felt the business was the most important thing and leaving it better then it was when he started was important to him. He had the ultimate say as to when and who he was going to lose to... and I respect him for ending something that I don't think anyone else would have ended. That takes a lot of guts. I just hope Lesnar appreciates what 'Taker did for him last night and doesn't leave the WWE in a couple of months.
  13. I have a few random things to throw out there about Wrestlemania 29: Cena beats Rock. Cena winning the Rumble and Rock beating Punk made that very clear (though it was clear going into the show anyway). Rock will never stay in the WWE for more than four months at a consecutive time. WWE is clearly pushing for legend matches. I'd be extremely surprised if Austin doesn't wrestle at WM 30 next year. Taker beats Punk. I think Punk has one of the coolest and freshest characters WWE has had in years but he will not beat The Undertaker at WM. The fact his character is who it is makes people believe he truly has a chance to end the streak. This is the first match since I don't even remember that WWE have made people think, "could they really end the streak this year?" The HBK and HHH matches made it very clear that the streak wasn't ending. It will never end because it's too much apart of the Taker character. The rest? I don't even care. The HHH/Lesnar match will be good and HHH will win. Most likely leading to Lesnar departing for another six months.
  14. His highlight for the flip touchdown is amazing. I had him on fantasy football last year because of that play alone. He was even suspended for the first four games (or however many it was) and I still picked him up in a late round to be a backup receiver.
  15. Five to eight carries a game tops is what I see in his future (maybe ten). He's getting 10 million over three years, so 3.3 million a year for someone who will take some pretty big hits is worth it to me. Drafting a RB in the draft would be nice and all but we've gone that route - Jamie Harper (who I like) and Javon Ringer (who I also liked) - and it hasn't worked for us. Greene is a solid backup for us and you need to remember that the Titans have always had a 60 (run) / 40 (pass) type of offense. We need a guy who can take big hits and HOLD ONTO THE FOOTBALL in short yardage situations. I'd rather use the draft for the pieces we truly need and not take a chance on a RB who will be third string for three years and get 10 carries a season. Even Javon Ringer is complaining about us signing Greene now. They need to suck it up and let how they play do the talking. And who knows? CJ might start out the season the way he did last year (11 caries for FOUR yards) and Munchak will light a fire under his ass by using Greene more. As long as we can get down the field and get points, I don't care how we do it.
  16. Didn't I say CJ would be upset about them signing Green? And he makes it publicly known yesterday that he isn't impressed. I knew he'd feel that way about a two-back system but I don't see us going that route. I see us using Green to give CJ a breather here and there. He won't get over 5-8 carries a game (and when you look at it money-wise that's a lot of cash for a limited role most likely, so I agree with you on that aspect). CJ will still get 20 carries in and be the primary playmaker on offense (or that's what I'm banking on anyway). Either way I think Green was a good signing. He was good in New York and he's only four years into the league. He'll be a good pound between the tackles runner while CJ can make big plays on the outside (hopefully). Also - I thought Darius Reynaud was decent for us in limited play last year. I've been a fan of West Virginia since the Pat White / Steve Slaton era and Reynaud was really good at WV.
  17. I agree with everything you said about the Titans O-Line. Levitre will help but he isn't five people. I think we'll start using two TE's for blocking and give Locker a few more options in the passing game. I'm prepared for us to pick up a few offensive linemen in this draft and like you said, this draft is STACKED with them.
  18. Munchak is (in my opinion) the best offensive line coach currently in football. He's played the position for over a decade and he coached the Titans offensive line for over a decade before becoming head coach. He knows what he's doing when it comes to running the ball. LenDale White had 1,100 yards in 2007 when our offense was going through some major changes with Vince Young and whatnot. In 2008 we had one of the best running back duos in NFL history (CJ hated it, he'd be the workhorse down field and LenDale would get the TDs). Munchak is responsible for those years of running and he even got CHRIS BROWN (fumble-prone and all) a 1,000 yard season in '04. We've struggled throughout the years but our running has always been top-notch. He's been the reason for that (on and off the field). I honestly didn't know we were going after Welker. I couldn't be happier with Britt, Washington, and Kendall Wright was excellent when he played last year. He'll be even better this year. So in that regard I don't even see why we'd approach him. No doubt he would have helped Locker out but I think he built some rapport with those three guys I mentioned. Damian Williams and Marc Mariani are also young and show promise when they play. I really hope Locker's shoulder surgery works out and he doesn't re injure it. I'm really worried about that. Especially since we let Hasslebeck go. I really don't want Ryan Fittzpatrick as our starting QB come week one...
  19. I couldn't be happier with what the Titans are doing thus far in the off-season. Andy Levitre from Buffalo will truly help us a ton immediately and for the future. Did you think Jackson and Spiller got all those yards without anyone blocking? We have the best offensive line coach in football as our head coach and our running game will get a big boost with Shonn Greene. I liked Greene while he was with the Jets because he's a good power guy whose willing to go between the tackles for tough yards. I'm from Maine and things like the Wing-T and tough power FBs as RBs is what I enjoy seeing. Tough defense and a time management running game is the type of football I breathe. I just hope CJ can deal with having someone who can take some of the load off of him and let him maximize his carries into big time runs. Him and LenDale worked great but CJ didn't enjoy running the entire field and then having White get the TD down in the red zone. I don't see that happening again because LenDale had seniority over CJ at the time. Greene will come in and get some carries in mid-drive situations I think. He can catch the ball out of the backfield too, so if CJ is tired on 3rd down... we're good to go. Once again I'm putting complete faith in Locker. Last year I was so excited for what the newer Titans could become. They disappointed me terribly but I'm convinced we can get back to the playoffs if we get back to what the core of Titans football is all about - tough running and stingy defense.
  20. Flacco was the MVP of not only the Super Bowl but the entire post-season. 11 touchdowns to 0 interceptions. He beat Manning and Brady on the road (both games nobody gave them a chance). He's a good QB who deserves recognition. Especially for how good he's been the past five years. I want to see Kaepernick play an entire season first. This pistol-offense won't last. The one guy who could run the option (Tebow) and also take the hits played about 20 downs of football this year while guys like RG3, Wilson, Newton, and Kaepernick are all being glorified for running a system Tebow helped expand. None of those guys can take 15+ hits a game all season long and still be a QB in five years. Will not happen.
  21. I thought it was a heck of a game. The way the 49ers came back after multiple mental mistakes was inspiring. The penalties and turnovers decided this game before it was even over. The fact the 'Niners stayed in it was short of amazing. I like that nobody on the Ravens (besides Suggs maybe) is saying the power outage helped the 49ers because I don't think it did. Sure it gave them more time to figure out a gameplan but they had already done that at halftime. They came out of that 35-minute break and were stopped on the 3rd and 14 play, forcing them to punt. Had the power outage really played a signifigant role they would have charged the field on that drive. One statistic that was mind-blowing was when ESPN said the Ravens offense had been off the field for about an hour and a half - that definitely played a role considering they were scoring big time before the power outage. The momentum certainly changed because of it and I can see people using that as an excuse had the 49ers pulled off the comeback. Everyone is breaking down the final series for the 49ers and the final few plays they called. I think the ONLY mistake they made was not calling a timeout before the 4th down play that decided the game. I expected a hard count and a last second timeout (play clock at 1). That would have at least given them more time to figure out a better play call and more time to excecute it properly. They could have won that game last night but the Ravens truly deserved it... especially after that goal line stance. What a way for Ray to go out.
  22. Southern Hospitality (Tex Tagan & Joffy Laine) vs The Paratroopers (Paradigm & Paranoia) Stanley Carpenter vs Davie Renluenn Cal Sanders vs Alan Parent Paradox vs Nomad Skip Beau vs Canadain Crusher
  23. This is awesome. When I saw those three characters in the CVerse I was wondering who would run with the story. Excellent start and I look forward to reading this.
  24. It was a tough fought game on both ends and it went back and forth the entire time. I've seen games that were terrible until the final ten minutes and people call it the "best game ever". I'd consider that an overstatement but I don't consider calling it "ones of the best games ever" wrong. I didn't say it was the best. I said it was one of the best. A game that you can't take your eyes off of (which that was) can be considered a great game.
