  1. Does anyone know whether owner goals take into ccount the company in question? Got a "sign no Powerhouses" note as BHOTWG, which IMHO makes no sense at all.
  2. A minor QOL thing that's missing is being able to filter a roster by stable. That would be very helpful for companies that make extensive use of stables.

  4. Yeah, but even in the most negative case it didn't *really* cost anything (he initial costs and monthly costs are much to cheap). Is there any sensible reason why big companies haven't already maxed out their dojos? Having running costs of 100'000 is nothing for a big company and getting up to 10 future superstars in return is a no brainer
  5. I'm not advocating for having to grind 5 years to be able to buy something. But you can pretty much buy *everything* in the first month as a big company. Broadcaster, Dojo, Venues... you don't have to think about whether it makes sense or whether it's the right moment. Is there any incentive not to max out a dojo to get the best possible future stars? If not, why didn't all the CV companies already do it? Why don't all the biggest companies have their own broadcasters if there is no downside financially? Why should I think twice about throwing the kitchen sink at a worker I really wanna sign? I don't think it should be too hard in the sense that it takes away from other aspects of the game. But when everything that's keeping me from maxing out all things financially is me telling myself that it would be unrealistic that's a problem...
  6. Look, I respect everyone's opinion and you are free to disagree, but you are using strawmen here. I've played enough iterations of this game to know that major companies generally have no financial difficulties, and I have no problem with that. But a wrestling industry of 7% is abysmal, and making this much money (10% of the starting wealth each month) is bonkers under those circumstances. Also, like everyone else I've played no more than 2 months, but: 1) So have you, so your guess whether this sample size is adequate is as good as mine 2) If previous games are anything to go buy, the sample size IS adequte, as profits are generally very preditcable and do not change with game time. Sure, stuff like company size, regional/national battles, wrestling industry(!), and economy matter, but given that all larger companies make too much money in a situation where external factors (namely the industry) are bad is a clear indication that the current settings may be too easy.
  7. Didn't realize you know so much about me :-) I've played several months with several companies and found the business side for every somewhat major organization to be too easy. Maybe TCW wasn't the perfect example, but what about SWF, USPW, BHOTWG, 21CW? All of them make boatloads of cash, which in itself isn't too bad and I guess somehwhat reflective of real life. But when the wrestling industry is completely in the gutter and every company still makes so much money that is a sign of finances being too easy. Also, how is this not related?
  8. <p>At least for larger companies, the business side of the game is too easy. Sure, big companies should generally be financially successful, but when you make more than a million each month with a company that is classified as medium (TCW) and the wrestling industry at only 7% (economy at 50%) it takes the challenge out of the game. There is too little incentive to manage a budget.</p><p> </p><p> industry / economy effects should be MUCH harsher, and revenue streams should be nerfed dramatically.</p><p> </p><p> A few more reasons why finances are WAY too easy:</p><p> </p><p> iPPV / Broadcasting: <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546481" rel="external nofollow">http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546481</a></p><p> Wage demands: <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546735" rel="external nofollow">http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546735</a></p><p> No need to pay for travel: <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546699" rel="external nofollow">http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546699</a></p>
  9. <p>At the moment, there is absolutely no reason as a bigger company with a dojo to not crank up the levels to 100%. I upgraded the TCW dojo to 100% training, 60% facilities, and running costs are still only 87'000 a month, which is nothing for a company that rakes in more than a million each month.</p><p> </p><p> I suggest to make the cost curve much steeper where upgrades start rather cheap but become prohibitively expensive so that you have to think twice before cranking up the facilities all the way.</p>
  10. Is there a section on body types in the handbook? What is the benefit of persuading someone into chnging from a "Toned" shape to a "Muscular" shape?
  11. Irrespective of whether we get letter grades back (probably not): The grades must be bigger for sure. I have no idea how that decision came about, but it's definitely lessening the fun for me. Even a rating of 97 doesn't feel right now...
  12. This is awesome and so much better than the status quo! I REALLY hope that something along this line can still be incorporated...
  13. <p>Kenny Omega</p><p> Bret Hart</p><p> Lance Storm</p><p> Alex Shelley</p><p> Roderick Strong</p>
  14. I'm very conflicted that technical skills will be a one size fits all stat from now on... While I can understand the decision to combine chain and mat wrestling (and think it's welcome streamlining) I really think that submission skills should remain a seperate stat. A worker coming over from a MMA promotion may be predistened to become a submission specialist, but may never learn the intricacies of chain wrestling.
  15. <p>I was hoping for the women in my roster to be ranked just like the men (it seems like it's still not possible for a woman in my women's division to be ranked as a main eventer). Wouldn't it be smarter to have the workers in a women's division always be ranked just as they would with an integrated product, with the caveat that you could set the option for inter-gender wrestling to be set to "none"?</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, I like the changes otherwise.</p>

  17. What's the difference between a "rapid fire" and a "satuaration" schedule? they sound pretty much the same to me...
  18. Is there any benefit in letting fighters fight in front of a home crowd? or is this just a personal/cosmetic touch?
  19. <p>If you add someone to your shortlist, is it possible to circumvent the second pop up where you have to check (each time) which notification you want to receive? It's usually the same for everyone (that's what the defaults are for, right?), and provokes a lot of unnecessary clicking...</p><p> </p><p> edit: the same is actually true for all the confirmation screens (I know, they have been there each iteration of the game, but still...). After I get asked whether I want to add someone to my shortlist, and I click yes, I shouldn't be bothered by additional pop ups.</p>
