  1. Sucks that the Top Prospect matches rated so poorly.

Even though I picked Low-Ki to win, I really did not think he would. That was a good upset right there and maybe it humbled Jeff a little.

Loved the visual you out in the end with Villain Enterprises standing on the stage all wearing Plague masks. The Plague mask always freaked me out a little in real life (maybe I died of the Black Plague in a former life.:D), so it was a very cool and ominous ending.

  2. Joker - This could have easily been a huge flop but the perfect synergy of casting, acting, directing and writing raised it masterpiece status. Joaquin Phoenix was incredible. 10/10

Midsommar (Director's Cut) - They could have condensed it into a run-of-the-mill 90-120 minute popcorn horror but instead they delivered an unforgettable experience. I get easily distracted watching long movies but this one held my attention. I'm turning into a big Florence Pugh fan. Not really sure how to rate it but I'll go with my first instinct. 9/10

I liked Joker but I am not sure if I would give it 10/10 but it was a very good movie.

As far as Midsommar goes. Well I will agree to disagree with you on that one. Here is what I wrote about it after seeing it...

For instance Midsommar was praised as being this great horror movie and I will admit I fell prey to the critics and decided to see it. I mean it is rear that a horror movie gets praise and that was the driving force for me to go see it. My thought process was, "If critics are praising a horror movie, which is something they hardly ever do, it might be worth checking out."

Oh boy do I wish I never paid to see that steaming pile of horse dung. The movie just went on and on and to me just came across as a cheap art house ripoff of the Wicker Man. No not that crap that Nicholas Cage made, I am talking about the Edward Woodward/Christopher Lee classic.

Though I will say Florence Pugh was the only highlight of that movie. I did not see the movie where she played Paige but she was very good in Midsommar and that was the only saving grace for the movie.

  3. Something of a side note about Drew getting what looks to be a possible mega push...

I wonder how Heath Slater feels about this. He is the only one from the 3 Man Band that has stayed with the WWE all of this time. Yet he is the one who never got that main even push like Drew and Jinder got.

Sure he had the great tag team run with Rhyno but both Jinder and Drew got fired and both got pushes for the World Title. Jinder won and it looks like Drew might win at WM or if not, he will probably win sometime down the road.

Meanwhile poor Heath is stuck fighting for the 24/7 Title or whatever such nonsense they have him involved in.

  4. Super Power Series - Night 1 (TV)

Stan Hansen and Tarzan Goto vs. Jumbo Tsuruta and Masanobu Fuchi - 30

Atsushi Onita and The Funk Brothers vs. Harley Race, Umanosuke Ueda and Tiger Jeet Singh - 30

Chavo Guerrero vs. Shiro Koshinaka - 20

Genichiro Tenryu and Motoshi Okuma vs. Ashura Hara and Goro Tsurumi - 20

Akio Sato, Takashi Ishikawa and George Takano vs. Mitsuharu Misawa, Kodo Fuyuki and Kazuo Yamazaki - 15

TIEBREAKER: Which match will be match of the night? Stan Hansen and Tarzan Goto vs. Jumbo Tsuruta and Masanobu Fuchi

  5. I honestly do not get the treatment of Erick Rowan in the Royal Rumble. Now granted I do not follow the product closely but I do read about it and from everything I have read it looks like they are trying to build him into something.

If that is the case, why have him get eliminated so quickly? They could have easily put him in the non-Brock half of the Rumble and had him eliminate some people there.

Edited to add: Even John Morrison probably should have been in the non-Brock part of the match. The guy returns after all these years and he is just eliminated like that. It just does not make sense to me.

Honestly they probably should have had John debut at the Rumble instead of some random Smackdown episode.

  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="MightyDavidson" data-cite="MightyDavidson" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Glad to hear McIntyre won. Always liked him ever since he first joined the WWE.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I was not a fan of him during his first run. I don't know if it was because I read at the time he was HHH's hand picked chosen one (I have always strongly disliked HHH) or what. He just never clicked with me.</p><p> </p><p> Then he went to TNA and I became a fan. I enjoyed his run there and I have liked him ever since.</p>
  7. First Round: Anthony Greene vs. Chris Bey

First Round: Brent Banks vs. Dak Draper

First Round: Flyer vs. Joe Keys

First Round: Cody Hall vs. Nathan Cruz

Finals: Elimination Four-Way, who wins? Cody Hall (Mainly because he is the only one I have heard of)

Jeff Cobb vs. Low-Ki, if Cobb loses he can't challenge for any title for six months.

ROH Tag Titles: The Top Guys {C} vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

ROH World: Jay Briscoe {C} vs. Will Ospreay

  8. Hi all, apologies if this is the wrong thread but since it says questions I figure I'm in the right place. I was just wondering, if I want to use a picture pack for a diary (putting in worker's pictures for matches, etc.), would I need to get the pack maker's permission first?

Thanks y'all, let me know if I'm in the wrong spot for this.

I believe the answer is no but I have never run a Real World diary so I do not know for a fact.

  9. I won’t be upset if the Chiefs win as Mahomes seems like a genuinely good dude. He’s easy to root for.

Also, how cool would it be if Joe Montana handled the coin toss for the Super Bowl?

It’s neat the two teams he played for are facing off.

I was thinking about that as well. I was always a Giants fan but I respected the 49ers and I remember I always wanted to see Joe Montana play (and Roger Craig for that matter). With the Patriots being the closest team to me, I never got to see him play because they Pats simply did not play the 49ers much and when they did the tickets were hard to come by.

Back then there were not many Patriots fans (sure there were the diehards) but when big teams came in it was tough to get tickets because people would pay to see the other team. Now I was fortunate to see them play against Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, and even against the Giants. But the one team I did not get to see was the 49ers.

When Joe went to KC, I finally got a chance to see him play in a pre-season game against the Patriots. The only problem was with it being a pre-season game I think he only played like half of the first quarter (It was a long time ago so I could be wrong. He might have played the entire first quarter.).

It's funny but that has happened to me often. My father bought me Bruins vs. Kings tickets just so we could see Wayne Gretzky play. Well he was traded to the Blues. We got Celtics vs. Bulls tickets to see Jordan play against Bird. Jordan played and Bird played like five minutes before laying on the floor due to his bad back. It seemed like I had no luck getting to see the greats play.

  10. Super Bowl is set!

Chiefs vs 49ers is a much better game on paper than the last few years.

Pulling for the 49ers. Steve Young and Jerry Rice were the first football players I ever liked as a kid so I’ve always been a little partial to the 49ers.

I would like to see the Chiefs. For two reasons, one they have not been in a Super Bowl since the Hank Stram's led team "matriculated the ball down the field" (Those who have watched highlights of Super Bowl IV know the reference.). The second reason is that if the Giants are not in the Super Bowl, I always tend to favor the AFC team. I am not sure why, but I am the same with baseball as well I always favor the American League team. With some exceptions if the Patriots or the Dolphins are the AFC team in the Super Bowl then I want to see them lose.

Plus growing up it seemed like the 49ers played in nearly every single Super Bowl. Now I know it is not the case but it sure did seem that way.

  11. I picked up the TPB of Absolute Carnage, Absolute Carnage- Lethal Protecors, Absolute Carnage- Miles Morales, and Absolute Carnage- Scream.

Any idea what order I should read them in?

Do not read them at all...:D

Seriously I did not bother with the tie-ins but the main story was just okay. Nothing great or groundbreaking. The very first issue of Absolute Carnage was fantastic but the rest is hit or miss for me.

I am not sure if this is the right order or not but according to the Absolute Carnage checklist that my LCS gave me here is how they have what you bought listed...

    1. Absolute Carnage 1

    2. Absolute Carnage 2

    3. Lethal Protectors 1

    4. Miles Morales 1

    5. Scream 1

    6. Absolute Carnage 3

    7. Lethal Protectors 2 (You did not say if you got any other issues so I will just follow what you have listed. If you do not have this one yet or the others just disregard anything but the Absolute Carnage issues)

    8. Miles Morales 2

    9. Scream 2

    10. Absolute Carnage 4

    11. LP 3

    12. MM 3

    13. Scream 3

    14. Absolute Carnage 5

Now I am not saying that is the correct order, but it is the order they came out in. I know with the new X-Men books there is a specific order they are supposed to be read in and it does not coincide with the order they came out.

From what I have heard the tie-ins really do not matter that much to the main story. Besides the main story the only issues I got were...

Venom 17, 18, 19 (Only because they were on my pull list), Absolute Carnage: Symbiote Spider-Man #1 (Because I am a Peter David fan), and Amazing Spider-Man 30-31. This is more of a me thing and it only applies to me but I would never bother with the Hulk issue because the writer Al Ewing blocked me on Twitter (when I had it) despite the fact that I have never had any sort of contact with him. The way I look at it is if you block me despite never even talking to me, then there is no way I will support you.

  12. Darby is great but he needs new gear. The short shorts and leggings is a terrible look.

Totally agree. I don't watch AEW much (Aside from MLW I really do not watch any wrestling at all.) but I was watching After Dark over my friend's house and I asked him, "Is Darby wearing nylons? What the hell is up with that." I just looks odd and he has a cool look with the half painted face and half non-painted face. He sort of give me a Two-Face vibe, but that ring attire has to go.

  13. <p>"Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. <strong>Will Ospreay</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Top Prospect Tournament Qualifier: Artemis Spencer vs. <strong>Brent Banks</strong> vs. RJ City</p><p> </p><p>

I have no clue who any of these guys are so I just picked the middle one.<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

ROH Television Title: <strong>Nick Aldis </strong>{C} vs. Tyson Dux</p><p> </p><p>

Fatal-Four-Way: Flamita vs. Gabriel Fuerza vs. Idris Abraham vs. <strong>PJ Black</strong></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Flip Gordon</strong> vs. Rocky Romero</p><p> </p><p>

    Brian Myers vs. <strong>Dalton Castle</strong></p><p> </p><p>

ROH Tag Titles: The Fraternity vs. <strong>The Top Guys {C}</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Main Event: The Briscoe Brothers and Mark Haskins vs.<strong> Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Thomas Latimer) </strong></p><p> </p><p>

I am thinking Mark might be the weakest link here. Villain is such a stacked team and the Briscoe's are the Briscoe's.</p>

  14. <p>Race vs <strong>Hogan</strong></p><p>

    Orndorff vs<strong> Andre</strong></p><p>

    Patriots vs <strong>Demolition</strong></p><p>

    Petersen vs <strong>Vachon</strong></p><p>

    Roberts vs <strong>Steamboat</strong></p><p>

    <strong>Bulldog</strong> vs Junkyard</p><p>

    <strong>HTM/Koloff</strong> vs Kings Club</p><p>

    Flamingos vs <strong>Rougeaus</strong></p><p>

    <strong>Razor</strong> vs Tito</p><p>

    Neidhart vs <strong>Simmons</strong></p>

  15. <p>Quarterfinals</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>MVP </strong>vs. Fred Yehi</p><p> </p><p>

    Joey Janela vs.<strong> "Filthy" Tom Lawlor</strong></p><p> </p><p>

    Matt Riddle vs. <strong>Low-Ki</strong></p><p> </p><p>

This is the toughest match to pick in this round. I am thinking Ki might be slightly more over and that is why I am picking him to win here.</p><p> </p><p>

    Darby Allin vs.<strong> Brian Pillman Jr.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

    Semifinals</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>MVP </strong>vs. Lawlor</p><p>

    <strong>Low-Ki</strong> vs. Pillman Jr.</p><p> </p><p>

    Finals</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>MVP </strong>vs. Low-Ki</p><p> </p><p>

I am thinking that MVP still has some of that WWE popularity and therefore might be the most over in the tournament.</p><p> </p><p>

    KOTM Winner: <strong>MVP</strong></p><p>

    KOTM Finalists: <strong>Low-Ki & MVP</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Match ratings really do not matter much. So I would have no problem with you not including the match ratings anymore.</p>

  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="fullMETAL" data-cite="fullMETAL" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="27929" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I thoroughly enjoyed the finale to DC's Crisis on Infinite Earths, and if they're gonna go forward with "Lex Luthor occasionally helps the good guys to further his own nefarious plans" like they implied at the beginning of the Legends episode, I am 100% on board with that. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I did not think he would be good as Lex but I guess I have to eat my words on that one. For me he was the dorky guy from the all of those John Hughes 80's movies (Even if looking back on it, he was not in a lot of 80's movies. Anthony Michael Hall filled the role more so than him. I just have it in my mind that he was the dork from the 80's.) and I never really watched 2 1/2 Men. But I really enjoy him as Lex.</p><p> </p><p> I really hope Legends Of Tomorrow tones down the over the top story lines from last season. That show was damn near unwatchable last season. They also need to cut down that cast. There are nine featured cast members, that is an insane amount. Now I know Ray and Nora are leaving which sucks because to me Ray is the heart of the show, but even with them leaving it is still too large of a cast.</p><p> </p><p> Also, I really wish Mona, Gary, and Ava would just...I don't know disappear. I really dislike of the those Time Bureau characters. Well Ava is not terrible but Mona and Gary have to go. They are both way too annoying. </p><p> </p><p> A show I am really enjoying right now is Stumptown. It sort of reminds me of a modern day Rockford Files and the cast is great.</p>
  17. Champion Carnival/NWA International Heavyweight Championship: Giant Baba vs. Stan Hansen - No Time Limit

I would say there is very little chance of Stan picking up the win here.

Harley Race, Masanobu Fuchi and Chavo Guerrero vs. Atsushi Onita and The Funk Brothers - 30

Chavo classic is the weakest link here.

Jumbo Tsuruta, Genichiro Tenryu and Motoshi Okuma vs. Umanosuke Ueda, Tiger Jeet Singh and Ashura Hara - 30

Mitsuharu Misawa, Kodo Fuyuki and The Great Kabuki vs. Akio Sato, Takashi Ishikawa and Tarzan Goto - 30

Mitsuo Momota and Magic Dragon vs. Mighty Inoue and Goro Tsurumi - 20

Kazuo Yamazaki vs. Shiro Koshinaka - 20

  18. Well Tessa is World Champ

I have already voiced my opinion on this topic so I am not going to rehash it.

I will say I find it interesting that they still gave her the title despite what is being said about her.

I did not see the show but I read the results and it just looked like an awful card. I am not sure who currently has the worst roster Impact or ROH. Both are just a shadow of what they once were.

  19. Assuming their audience already knows what they are supposed to and not realizing there are people who may be seeing the guy for the first time.

    Little off topic but,

I do not know if you watch MLW as well but they do this exact same thing and it can be very annoying. They have this one wrestler named Timothy Thatcher who they hype and hype as if he is the greatest wrestler off all-time. Well I have never heard of the guy and he tends to lose more than he wins in MLW (Or at least it seems that way to me.). Yet they still are saying how great he was in other promotions and I just personally do not see it.

  20. From the late 1970s through the 1980s...first Georgia Championship Wrestling then Jim Crockett Promotions, two stalwarts of the NWA had their weekly Saturday night wrestling show on TBS starting at 6:05 pm

Unless the Braves were on then the show would be preempted into oblivion. That was the main reason why I hate the Braves to this day. They would be the absolute worst team in the National League and they still took priority over wrestling. Then they got good in the 90's and it became even more terrible.:D

  21. <p>MLW World Heavyweight Title Match</p><p>

    <strong>Jeff Cobb ©</strong> vs. Tommy Mercer:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Masada vs. <strong>Necro Butcher</strong> vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Jimmy Jacobs</p><p> </p><p>

Even though I visually know who Jimmy Havoc and Jimmy Jacobs are, I always get messed up when I hear either of their names. I always think Jimmy Havoc wasn't that the Zombie Princess' name...or Jimmy Jacobs...wait I don't remember Jimmy Jacobs being a pale English dude.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, I have a rule. If the greatest wrestler of all-time Necro Butcher is in a match. Well I automatically pick him to win. Necro Butcher for the win!</p><p> </p><p>

    Non-Title Match</p><p>

The Lucha Bros © vs. <strong>Rich Swann and Shane Strickland</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Non-title match leads me to believe that Rich and Shane might win to set-up a title match.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>MVP</strong> vs. Joey Janela</p><p> </p><p>

Joey Janela sucks, I am not sure why he is so overhyped.</p><p> </p><p>

Answer: I am sure someone will but I cannot think of anyone so I shall say...<strong>NO.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

bonus (1 point)- Will Chelsea Green play a factor in the Rebel Cell/Cade and Yuta match?</p><p>

    Answer: <strong>Yes</strong></p>
