If I remember correctly, when Australia was added is was pretty much a wasteland that was there to develop. I bet India will be very much the same.

Yeah, had forgotten that. It actually makes sense.

Maybe one final patch when that project is finished but then he will be working on patches for that game, so I wouldn't expect it.

I have hopes of a final patch, and since work with TEW seems to be on schedule, according to the journal, I'd love it if it could be released before TEW, to avoid the long wait that might come from it otherwise if we have to wait for TEW's initial patches. Hyped for TEW 2020, but also hoping for a patch that can improve the already great WMMA5 experience.

 3. I must ask this, after seeing the regions already made and what is left to do on Adam's recent journal updates...what happened to India? Not that I will miss it if it got scrapped, as something covering (more) different parts of Asia and expanding some of the already existing regions would be nicer, but a new region is better than none. Plus India is fertile territory for some interesting concepts, especially in recent mods. And I did not see it mentioned recently. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned as an upcoming region for this iteration of TEW, was it not?
 4. Question for Adam: Are there any plans for an upcoming patch? I feel some of these and other reported issues could be resolved that way. Plus it would be cool for us to get some love for this game. It's been about a year since the last one and some things could still be addressed.
 5. The game looks better every day. These final waiting months will be rough to pass through. Hype!
 6. I wish there was a way to make women retire a bit older though, as it is common nowadays.
 7. In the same place you selected rare, rules and settings of your company, just increase it to max, which is common.

 9. Since it's actually Gonçalves, (makes a huge difference in the Portuguese language) technically they are both wrong. But yeah, it is Sidney.
 10. GSP and Usman really stunk the joint. This had everything to be a great ppv. Well, I don't think I will let these two ever fight each other again. Now time for a GSP vs. MVP for a belt unification.
 11. Yeah I like to do similar narratives with him as well, as I push him as much as humanly possible.
 12. Spencer Spade (obviously), Scythe, Skull DeBones, (Yes I am still holding hope he hasn't retired by then and has become SWF's Undertaker) Remmy Skye and Marc Dubois are the main ones, for different reasons.
 13. Not every game, probably not, but I did do it with a few fighters on my save, mainly due to the fact that I wanted to fantasy book them. It is a very good way of fantasy booking a few fighters that, for the most part in real life, would definitely come back for another run if the offer was good. So I don't see it as something bad. Quite the opposite.
 14. Can't believe I missed this post, as I often check the mods for WMMA5 as well as TEW, but many thanks for finding it and uploading it. Kudos, this is such a great work. Glad to be able to play it again. Many thanks for the upload.
 15. Yes, it does happen in WMMA as well. Bellator, which I am running, got busted by a tax scandal, even though I own it and never dodged taxes in any way. Don't get me wrong, I would if I could, though. After all, I do book fighters that pop on unregulated regions to get those dollars.
 16. All his tips are correct, but this one is the key. Overload the payments if needed, just make sure you don't use all the big names in one show, as to avoid losses, and eventually your spending spree will pay off in due time. I'm currently slowly choking UFC on my save as Bellator by signing everyone that matters away from them. It is a long process, but fun and rewarding. Building from scratch is pretty much the same, but takes more time.

My only thought on that front is I gotta get it out of my head.

But yeah. They are a feature of wrestling that have been in my head a lot as of late as they pertain to TEW. For the longest time, the notion of the unofficial pin that we all saw but the ref was unable to count were just ignored. But over the last few years in wrestling, I see them being made a point of more and more. There are now talking points in rematches. Subjects broached to heels doing color commentary for them to dismiss. Tools to hype undercarders with. So much is made of the visual pin I find myself trying to figure out what place if any needs to be made for them in the game.

I thought repeatedly about just suggesting there should be a ring note for them. But even I'm not sure how necessary that really is. Are visual pins maybe intended to be one of the excuses that lead to the Tainted Win note? Or do they merit a special note to themselves? It seems like a lot could be done with them. Tracking visual pins so they can be talking points in future matches. Maybe being the catalyst to a story line starting argument. Maybe being tools to bringing lower carders along. Perhaps giving them visual pins that don't lead to official ones and can they get over that hump being a storyline. Seems like there could be a lot of game value here.

Or is that just me? Do you maybe view visual pins as something best left to imagination and angles for story purposes? Does the Tainted Win note or some other feature I'm overlooking do them justice in your mind? Would love to resolve the tug and pull that happens whenever this thought jumps in my head.

I think it surely is a part of wrestling nowadays, especially with the advent of replays. Furthermore, the opposite is also a big thing. Becky Lynch pinning Ronda in the main event of Mania while a shoulder was up. Also a big thing. I do think these things deserve at least their own notes.

 18. This would be awesome to have if a new version ever comes out. Here's rooting for it one day.
 19. I don't think you are in the minority, I usually talk to a lot of people that love to book SWF and would be equally devastated as well. But I see a vocal minority here always talking about it. This not a criticism of any sorts, everyone has their opinion and while I know a scandal breaking would make for interesting cannon, it not happening, Eisen getting away with it and these agents staying stuck in the limbo of wrestling would make for even better folklore. Just the diaries around them staying in the game would open so many possibilities. As for SWF itself, it would be great to see them at #1 again, or at least very close to it. I always saw them as the dominant force of wrestling and their risky but mainstream product is something that would be conquering fans in the CVerse for sure. So I hope that they got it together and that guys like Scythe and the myth that shall not be named have finally broken into the main roster and that the whole universe itself is fairly renewed, while the veterans are clinging around, like any other wrestler would, in whatever place pays them more. Meaning expansion with brand new characters to counter the aging stars, that would still be around, regardless of where, instead of just retiring all the old guys (cause this is wrestling and no one ever really goes out on top, or rarely so, so they drag on) and adding the new ones. Fresh stars are needed, but I also see the potential of some of these old guys trying to expand their careers in new places. India among them, but not limited to it only. I'd also love to see CZCW finally jumping in size and suddenly becoming a force to at least be kept under watch. I would put some decline in Canadian Wrestling, keep the Mexican scene fairly stale and maybe get Australia gaining unexpected momentum with homegrown stars while the dust in Japan has settled from the Tsunami and they are finally working their way up, while still far from being into new glory days. Anyway, SWF has so much potential to improve their state from the last game and provide actual war between powerhouses, them being SWF and USPW at least. As far I've seen, it still is one of the more popular US companies among the players i've spoken too. But that also only means that and nothing more. But it would provide for a great scenario, imo. As for Eric Eisen, regardless of who takes over or if Richard is still there, him dedicating himself to his craft, improving and becoming a sensation would be one of those "against all odds stories" no one would see coming. Regardless of what might happen, I'm fairly intrigued by how everything will look in the 2020 CV.
 20. Why does everyone assume the IRS scandal will end up with anyone in jail? That's the most predictable way to go and I hope it does not happen. Imo they never really find evidence against Eisen and remain undercover for the rest of their careers without ever touching SWF. Or the cops pull the plug on the whole operation cause no evidence and they go rogue and end up chasing ghosts for the rest of their lives. Richard Risen could still be the owner by this point, but is preparing the future and keeps Jerry as a Booker. Eric has taken the time to perfect his craft and is now performing better and in the middle of a hot angle where he is world champ (to appease the fact that Jerry is booking they turn him into company focus) and is leading a super over heel stable. Skull DeBones is still around, much like Taker, for example and is undefeated on their main ppv. While already being supremely veteran, (pun intended) he still gets the job done and will wrestle for SWF as long as they pay him nice and treat him well. SWF finally managed to overcome recent backstage dramas and used their dev territory to create new stars, riding in a wave of success and targeting USPW for their #1 spot, or already having it. They create their own network, an investment that ends up being highly successful, against all odds. Meanwhile, USPW is either #1 about to be overtaken or a close #2. Backstage drama finally caught to them, as well as a boom in the US market that is making the competition stronger. So they are either stealing some high profile names or making them pay more to retain them. Despite this USPW is still a force to be taken into account and the wrestling boom running around has made the battle for supremacy much more interesting. TCW continues to struggle. Mainstream fans can't buy into their ring focus shtick and they never recaptured those key demo viewers. The toy company, however, seeing the opportunity to make money, with wrestling becoming a hot commodity, decides to increase the investment and push for better results. Tommy Cornell has finished his work in England and decided to return to the US to enjoy his last years of wrestling in USA, where it is paying off to be a wrestler right now. Against all odds he buries the hatchet with his old boss and ecides to sign a big lucrative deal with SWF for one final great run. (That could last for years, given his talent.) He lost the world title to Eric and his evil stable and after being out of the title picture for a while, he is ready to get his revenge and try and become world champ again. Meanwhile, CZCW has tremendously evolved, mixing some mainstream features on their product, like focusing more in promos, while keeping the core of their cult concept and has overtaken TCW to mow be the #3 act. Japan is in full recovery after the Tsunami, as their companies look to expand into the hotbed the US currently are, to speed that process. I'd build it sort of like this. CZCW surpassing TCW as the latter become more and more what the former used to be, while the Coastal Zone finally finds some success. Meanwhile USPW and SWF would take advantage of the wrestling boom to go all out to war for that #1 spot. Edit: also, in this scenario, India would be a country where foreign wrestling is highly popular but their own companies struggle. To counter this, Indian investors start to throw big money deals to foreign veterans, the has evens in the twilight of their careers, or even formerly retired, to try and use them to boost popularity of Indian programming and put some homegrown talent over.
 21.
Sorry for the double post but:

Rather than hide the match aims I've instead decided to leave them available, but you will get a warning from your road agent if you try and use one that would result in a penalty.

This is great news, well done Adam. I'd love to get some scoops on the CV, like a lot of us, but sadly you have decided not to post them. Still excited for all the possible changes, especially with the amount of content you are hinting at.

 22. 1000 times yes. I want the chance to do a death match in a pg product regardless of how bad it may end up being. Removing that ability is not fun or user friendly. Toggling on the other hand is. Besides, just because a thing doesn't fit a product it doesn't make it impossible to happen there. And dealing with the consequences is part of the fun.

But Alliances are very contrived and with a lot of cosmetic flavor only. Some changes should have been made. I don't know why they weren't severely updated, but I suppose it wasn't doable for this version.
