Appreciate it! And I'm glad to hear that about Croft. Every so often I think 'is it a little too on a nose for the rich guy character to wear a jacket with $ signs.' But then I remember it was fine for WWF and my RAW is no more subtle than even early 90's WWF! In fact, what am I saying he's a face, please do feel sorry for him. He certainly needs your sympathy with what he has coming up. There's definitely plenty of people on the roster who have never really had reason to cross paths but that I'd enjoy writing. I can definitely see a future Movie Night episode featuring a few of those.

Definitely, I agree that explicitly showing too much of the 'behind the scenes' isn't necessary, but like you say there's definitely other ways around it. I suppose whilst not a stat but something I could see included on a podcast is a brief look at how any PWL alumni are doing elsewhere in the wrestling world. Especially if there's any you think there's even a chance could return someday.

Showcase Graphics in Lucha Definitiva by Mitch I'm not certain this is still going, but I still thought it deserved the nod. The whole introduction was great but the general style and the renders really stood out as unique and fit the diary well. I'm not sure what they have been using but I'd definitely encourage people to take a look. Liberty & Justice in USPW: Hegemony by DirigoJoe I know there is a whole category for events so I guess this could go in that? But as there's currently no other nominations for it I assume it will get put into showcase. I've enjoyed this take on USPW so far and like the above nomination I'm hoping it's still going. Veteran C-Verse Grimm SoCal Wrestling by Dark RaideR Has been consistently great. I'm always a big fan of diaries that are based on existing c-verse promotions that fit how I have always envisioned them in game. Rookie C-Verse Prestige Wrestling League by Willsky Quite frankly I'm amazed this is still going down in this category, especially with the numerous other fantastic diaries they've done/are doing currently. But this is most likely my favourite. There's a lot to love about PWL. Although it's not an existing c-verse promotion the second thing I'm a big fan of is diaries where you can reasonably trust some consistency/longevity. Willsky posts plenty and often, so keeping up with PWL requires some time commitment but his track record speaks for itself and PWL is always more than worth the read. Veteran RW SMASH: Will Bump for $$$ by Bigelow Cartwheel At first I thought this started too late for October but actually there was a decent amount of intro and 2 shows posted in that month so I definitely think it deserves the nomination. Sometimes I feel guilty nominating RW diaries as there's definitely loads of great ones that I don't check out often as I generally prefer c-verse. But I've enjoyed BC's last few diaries I've caught so made sure to check this one out. Much like how The Oddworld did, I feel like this promotion suits his style really well. It wasn't long ago I saw somebody post about it being a few slow months around here, and at the time I definitely agreed. At least personally there's quite of few of my favourite writers currently inactive, Lloyd for example is someone who has consistently had something awesome active for years so it's bound to feel a little quieter. But does feel like there's been a strong amount posting recently. Really this is just a shout out to people like Historian, Kanegan, Dark_RaideR, Willsky etc who have often recently had numerous active projects. There's definitely more in that group too. Feels like a core group posting often has kept the boards feeling very active so it's good now to see plenty of other great looking stuff joining that. P.S I understand this might be past the deadline? I do personally like the change to voting during the month itself with noms closing earlier to allow voting to start earlier, so perhaps this is hypocritical! If it is too late the majority of these picks could be carried over to November so no worries.

That's a tough one, some would be interesting but realistically too hard for you to work out (like say what finishing move has put away most people) but there's some in game stats that could be interesting (who has developed the most in certain stats, who has gained the most pop etc).

I like that Milk thought it necessary to put a fake beard over his own. I suppose they aren't going to be your actual ZEN commentators but I hope that's not the last we see of Penfold. Regardless this is looking great! I appreciate the indirect geography lesson, I knew Hawaii was roughly speaking in between West Coast US and Japan but would not have guessed it to be in almost the same time zone as NZ, granted it's still a long way away. Hopefully close enough though for Santa's lost presents to wash up on ZEN's shores?

Well it's certainly great to see you back with a diary! I like the start, I think the idea of going for a block of 24 shows makes sense and fits the format. I've been slowly getting more acquainted with the ZEN roster and this definitely helped. I'm also behind the idea of a vampire stable!

Definitely great to see a new BC diary! And this world is already interesting for sure. The idea of Eric trying to control Shawn at this time is fun too. Springer being involved made me interested to google the show. I knew it was long running but there was just under 5000 episodes! So at least that gives you an aim, to make it Jerry's longest running show.

Great to hear! Although eventually most stories will inevitably combine or at least cross paths with the larger Kingdom v Clenched Fist stuff it's fun to create smaller side stories. I love that. Goode (or maybe Maurice Jackson) actually used those exacts words in I'd guess season 1. I know it's a Godfather quote but I was watching The Sopranos at the time where it's also quoted. Main Event Mafia were intended to just be a group of top level talent but the months watching that definitely influenced their story. Part of me wishes I took more time and went deeper into them being an actual mafia family.

Did make it feel like the whole card had high stakes, well because they did, which isn't always easy in tournaments like this. I always enjoy an unstoppabreakable promo too. I think I said a similar thing ages ago regarding Owusu but it's impressive that on paper they are quite plain babyfaces, definitely not the easiest characters to actually make enjoyable to read and root for but they've consistently been two of my favourites.
