Derek B
Going by Sam Keith's title history I would've placed him with either MPWF or with BHOTWG, rather than the SWF. Probably BHTOWG since he wins their World title in October 86 and you are setting the mod in August 86. In my mind Keith doesn't head to the SWF until after his run in CGC, so at least 1992 if not a little later than that. :)
benjacko
Good point, I'll put Keith into BHOTWG instead :).

benjacko
Ok, thought I'd update you all and bump the thread to show it's not dead :). Been away for a couple of weeks but back in UK now so can begin on creating the mod in TEW now. These are the people helping me out so far: Japan & Renders - jtlant Australia - Basmat01 I'm doing everything else at the moment but if anyone's interested in doing other regions like Mexico and Europe or any part of the mod then let me know me by pm :). I plan to get a beta version of the mod together initially before a full release.
SolidDavidGold
Bump It's good to hear that this is still in the works. I was a little worried because there hadn't been an update in awhile. I'm slowly losing my mind waiting for this mod. is there any chance of getting some early screenshots of some of the major players/future major players abilities? I'm really interested as to whether or not Rip Chords stats have started to suffer due to his lifestyle.
benjacko
I'll sort out a few screenshots and they'll be up tomorrow :).
jtlant
Figured I'd put a couple of renders up for this... First, Romeo Heartthrob Next is Naonobu Murkami of GCG Then Morris Wright, also with GCG I've also been trying to turn back the clock on some workers... Robert Oxford Before and After Masayuki Shiga Before and After Not perfect, but alot faster than rendering young versions of everyone... benjacko
Here's a youthful Christian Faith, the stats aren't final as I'm not happy with the A* entertainment skills with him only being 20 but thought i'd show the profile template that will be used with all the workers. I'll have Sam Strong and Rip Chord's up tomorrow sometime :). I know it says September 1986 and not August 1986 ;).

Midnightnick
A different profile template than everything else ever in the CornellVerse? Comradebot
I agree, the Cornellverse can't be summed up with bullets. We need bios in the profiles.
Exactly. The bullets work great for the real world mods, because it forces people to shorten the otherwise massive histories they couldn't otherwise fit. The full CVerse bios are part of what gives the world its life. Just my thougth.
jtlant
Couple of new renders for the women's scene in Japan... mike b
Now i would love to play a CVerse mod that starts in the 1980's :) I know its probably to early to ask but do you have any idea as to when maybe this might be coming out. Also are you going to create enough workers to carry the game through to 2008 or are we mostly going to have to rely on the computer generated workers Also i think the more dojo's you have might be better. benjacko
I plan to include all the CV97 future workers plus the default Cornellverse future workers along with some new workers so there'll be plenty of people appearing during the years. I've not set a date for the release yet but I'd reckon on a beta being around in a couple of weeks with the USA and Canada initially. Thanks for the comments Comradebot and MidnightNick, I'm all for listening to the customers so from now on, it's back to the default profiles like in the Cornellverse :). In my defence, there are 2,300 workers on my current version at the moment so that was the reason behind it. I'm still working out what limits to set when doing the stats as I want to make it playable and enjoyable at the same time.

jtlant
Eh, I forgot about him. Any chance of you youngering him J?
I'm gonna take a shot at it. Problem is you can't see much of his face to begin with, so I don't know how much younger I could make him look without a whole new render, and the problem with that is I don't have a keffiyeh (i think that's what it is) like he has on. That said, I'll give it a shot. :D
