Cheers. I think facial expressions are the most important part of showcasing a character's personallity, so I spend a lot of time on them. I love 95% of the expressions I do, but... big smiles... Just can't get 'em right. They are my everest.

 

Happy Jessica Bunny. Annoyed Jessica Bunny. Smug Serena Star. Girls are so much hotter when they're mad at me.

Big smiles give me a lot of trouble as well. I think part of the problem is that the teeth don't always move with the smile correctly and then you get some really odd looks. The cheeks give me some trouble as well, but the teeth are the main problem I think. Try manually adjusting the upper and lower jaws up a little bit and see if you like that better. It works for me occasionally.

 

Awesome work by the way, especially on the Serena Star one. That's great.

 

Love that Huey Cannonball too. They look like a tag team now.

Faith is a great character...but his default render is incredibly bland.

As a C-Verse Lucha player, I would just like to second the earlier suggestion of a re-render of Magnifico, as his render is really lacking for such a high profile luchador. Asiatico and Europea could use some help as well, I think.

I've had Magnifico on my list to try for a while now, just haven't got around to it yet. I'm still trying to come up with a mask concept that's fitting of his ring name.

 

Don't think these two are really among my better work, as far as matching the original renders goes. Sanders ended up quite a bit uglier than I intended.

I just want to say I finally *get* the Christian Faith character. I know he's been around since... I think 04? But I never saw his journey. Now this render shows each major step in a long and gloried (and inglorious) career. From the triumphs to the trials as he made his path through pro wrestling.

 

This is a character I could write for without ever needed to open up TEW.

 

Just a fantastic job of capturing a personality jtlant.

 

I also dig Cal Sanders. There's not enough ugly in wrestling anymore.

I was never a huge fan of the Hardliners (go look up midcard NWA 80s tag teams.) But they were a pair of nasty old men who you knew, win or lose, were gonna dish out a hurtin'. That's what Cal Sanders looks like now. That too, is very good.
