Preparation and Recuperation, how do they work?

Is it the lower the rating the less the fighter needs or the opposite?

I'm wondering this too; I'm guessing from comparing the young guys in the editor to the big stars that the higher the stats, the more time they need to prepare/recuperate. the lower the stat, the less time. But that's just a guess.

Edit: Fairly certain this is correct. Eugene Clough, who in his bio says he will fight anytime, anywhere, often on 1 day notice has a preparation rating of 3 and a recovery of 8.

I don't know what game you're playing, but there are tons of unregulated regions in the game outside of the US, Canada, EU and UK. Places like Japan, Asia, Russia, Brazil...y'know, the places that are known for running one-night MMA tournaments.

Which is kinda useless for me. Since I, you know, happen to be born and raised Canadian and would prefer to start my MMA organization here.

There should be the option to split the tournament into separate events, Bellator style.

Or flee to the nearest native reserve.

That hardly equates to them being 'removed from the game' though. I live in the UK and I'd love to be able to shoot someone in the face if they broke into my house, but what'cha gonna do? Them's the rules! :D

That's a good shout.

It still seems an unnecessary exclusion from the game since a lot of people surely enjoy running tournaments, even in American,Canadian, UK promotions, etc. It would be nice to have the option ...

I was wondering why I couldn't run a tournament in my California based company.

If you *really* want tournaments, you can edit all the areas of the US to be unregulated.... ;)

It's not a big deal for me, I usually just run tournaments for my top fighters in each rank right at the beginning, as I tend to run my own company, and start from scratch, so I used tournaments as a way to determine the first champion for weight division, but from then on they were very rare, used mainly on TV to get the winner a mega-boost in name value and then they lose to my stars to boost them even more .... unless they happend to win ....

I guess I'll just have my top 4 ranked fighters in each division fight, then the winners of each fight, fight eachother for the title.

I loved WMMA2, started a company completely unknown, and I got it to International in no time, Spencer Rubenstein grew with my company, being my top star making my Light Heavyweight Division the main attraction, too bad he's older and in GAMMA now.

Eh, honestly I won't be getting this game for a few months due the WoW expansion coming out on Tuesday, guess it's a good thing, I can use money I get from relatives for Christmas to buy WMMA3 anyways. >.>

xD

Well, to test out how tournaments have changed I started a new game as KDM FC.

On Friday of Week 2, January 1998, Asia has become regulated.

Does this mean it's possible for tournaments to not be able to be ran at all eventually? If every area becomes regulated..

Every character has microphone skills now, but i don't think that we can "assign" any staffer to a broadcasting role Florian/Mir/Bonnar style. The announcer/broadcasters were a bit of a cosmetic figure in WMMA2, if they are gone i am kinda bummed but it's just a minor thing.</p>
