Some actors I would like pricing on:

Robert DeNiro

Leonardo DiCaprio

Christoph Waltz

Tom Hardy

The Rock

John C. Reilly (good for comedies & drama. Nice to have some versatile guys for people to use)

Kristen Bell

Evan Rachel Wood

Natalie Portman

Rachel McAdams

Mila Kunis

Some are there for future ideas, for my first movie I want to do an action movie and there are not a lot of candidates (hence Rock & Hardy and some of the younger girls)

and could you update the actor post with the new additions and people that are used (example John Goodman)?

And I think Will Smith should want more than almost anyone no? He's pretty cheap (and surprised he hasnt been used)

Title- DUST

Lead Actor- Matt Damon (50,000)

Lead Actress- Jessica Biel (75,000)

Supporting Actor- Jay Baruchel (15,000?)

Genre- Horror/Comedy/Spaghetti Western

Plot- The small town of Dust had long held a peaceful truce with the neighboring Zuni reservation. Things would change in a hurry however, as a mad arsonist, Wayne (Jay Baruchel) would set fire to their homes. As the Shaman watched his people burn, he cursed the town, wishing for The Great Spirit to bring forth a great plague upon them.

Meanwhile a cunning bank robber, Duke (Matt Damon) has traveled three days to the town, doing his best to flee the pursing Marshals. While she thinks it is safer to have numbers, Duke is a loner and simply wants to get his money and get out of town.

If I may make some suggestions.

I think the idea of Directors is awesome and could help set the tone of the film. Having a comedy with Mel Brooks or Judd Apatow are going to have very different feels to them.

What if instead of 1 Lead Actor/Actress and 1 Supporting Actor/Actress you make it open. 2 Leads (male or female) and 2 supporting (male or female).

Woot! Doubled my original money!

Franchises: If for example someone wanted to make a comic book action movie... would we have to pay a franchise fee to said company the character belongs to?

Loyalty: Would it be possible for a worker whom a director hires consistently to start trying harder for the director?

Sequels: When doing a sequel to one of your own movies is there a higher or lower chance of sucess?

Also id like to request prices for

Hilarie Burton

Paul Johanson

and

Erica Durance?

Most everyone is grossly under priced due to the fact that I wanted people to be able to use whoever they wanted. With that being said we can make directors a bit more costly. Just go off of talent/popularity. make the low 75,000 a show and the high can be 250,000.

Older men can go for the old west style gun fights of the good ol days, while teenage boys can drool over the half naked uber sexy zombified Jessica Biel. Zombie movies have often been a fad, however this movie takes it a different route where the zombies actual seem to have more on their mind than to eat brains.
So I'm done for the night, you guys can feel free to continue to post and I'll catch up in the morning. A few things I would like to do is:

1) Have you guys make up a studio name

2) after maybe every 3 days I'll hold an award type show and that will give boosts to studio prestige (the more prestigious you are the cheaper you can get stars. Plus if you have a great relationship with a worker they will work for you for much less.)

Supporting Actor - John C. Reilly(40k), Aaron Johnson (30k)

Supporting Actress - N/A

Genre - Drama

Pitch - Vincent Cappello (Walken) is an aging mid-level mobster, who has nothing left in his life besides 7" records and his work for the mafia, which has become little more than routine drudgery. Vincent locks Jersey in a garage, intending to have him "taken care of" but instead the two eventually bond and form an odd friendship.

One day he subdues a homeless, Jewish teen named "Jersey" (Johnson) who attempts to assault Vincent while robbing his house. Vincent locks Jersey in a garage, intending to have him "taken care of" but instead the two eventually bond and form an odd friendship.

As Vincent takes Jersey under his wing and attempts to raise him up from the gutters, heavy repercussions start to arise from a previously botched job and it soon becomes apparent that Vincent will be caught in the fall out which is being overseen by a corrupt businessman (Reilly) who has ties to the underworld.

With Vincent living on borrowed time, he must somehow find a way to make peace with himself and help Jersey leave his old life behind — all before he's forced into an "early retirement".

Despite the Mafia background, this movie is first and foremostly a small character drama that places a spotlight on the actors and dialogue, and all of the "action" sequences being short, realistic and unglamorous.

Location - Vancouver (doubling as Chicago)

Budget - $280,000 (130k actors, 150k production)

Duration - 105 minutes

Lead Weight was a much needed first success for small time studio Just As Planned Pictures. Christopher Walken plays the role of a washed out mobster to perfection and catches everyone's hearts in this tale. Some are even calling his performance Oscar worthy. The grainy picture due to the lack of budget actually helped capture that old school feel and added a certain layer to the movie.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Revenue: 900,000 dollars

Effects:

Christopher Walken now wants 75,000 per movie

crayon now has 1,580,000 dollars
