Jet City Rumble 1

The Portland Center (North West)

Att 982 Thursday Week 3 March 2013

Pre Show

Two exclusive interviews, recorded as part of the event DVD extras.

Carl Batch is with Rhino Umaga backstage…keeping a safe distance from his client...

Batch: “Do I need to explain this? You saw what Rhino Umaga did to Jett last month, de Aske? Rhino crushed him, beat him like he was a child. He’s a violent animal, a sadistic monster who can not be stopped…and you’re just the ‘Belgian Rebel’. Now, I don’t care about which small, s***ty country you’re from, but I do care about getting blood on my suit. So spare me the dry cleaners bill – fake an injury, cancel the match, move to Mexico, I don’t care how you do it….” (E+)

Hugh de Aske is leaning next to a vending machine backstage, ready to share his views

De Aske: “So Carl Batch thinks de Aske is scared of Rhino Umaga? Maybe a mortal man would fear Umaga but I’m the Flemish Fantasy, the Sensual Cannibal…Hugh de Aske! I fear no one! In fact, Umaga should be scared of me! I beat Ota last month, punished him and pinned him. Tonight, Batch, I do the same to your feral beast.

…and Diamond Dave, if you get in my way, I got no qualms about kicking your ass too.” (E)

EPW US Tag Titles American Cobras © w/ Carl Batch vs Team Relentless

After the last two shows, both teams are getting familiar with other. The Cobras are able to slow down Team Relentless initially, however Glenn and Jett soon regain control using their experience.

Unfortunately, that experience doesn’t extend to ringside shenanigans – Jett misses Batch sliding a US Tag Title belt to Mallroy. With Batch distracting Ref Graveson, Mallroy smacks Jett with the belt, then follows up with a Marvel Breaker (Snap twisting neckbreaker) for 3.

Winner - American Cobras @7:35 (D)

Alanis Devine makes her way to the ring…

Alanis: “I’m sure you’ve all seen the poster for this show. You may have noticed that there were two mystery entrants into the Jet City Rumble. Well, I am here to unveil them tonight…please welcome EPW's newest signings Mainstream Hernandez and Kirk Jameson!!!"

Both men make their way down the aisle, slapping hands with the fans. The fans seem taken with the laid back Hernandez and the focused Jameson. (D-)

EPW Pacific Title Rhino Umaga © w/Carl Batch vs Hugh de Aske

For all his earlier bravado, de Aske struggles in the early going – Rhino Umaga is just too strong. De Aske manages to rally with a dropkick, but a top rope elbow only gets 2.

De Aske goes for broke – a barrage of right hands stun Rhino and a superkick puts the monster down. As de Aske sizes up Umaga for (an improbable) Cut Throat Driver, DDD races to ringside, shouting at de Aske! Distracted, de Aske loses focus, allowing Rhino Umaga to recover – Rhino Charge! 1-2-3!

Winner – Rhino Umaga @13:23 (D)

Backstage, we see Alanis speaking to a crew member. Until Alvin Starr interrupts her…

Starr: ”Hey baby, you see my win last month? Beat him with his own move, another successful cover version. Thank you very much!”

Alanis: “I’m not your baby. I’m pretty sure that the brass knuckles played a part too.”

Starr: (acting surprised) “Brass knucks? Don’t be cruel baby, like my mama always said, her boy just got heavy hands!”

Alanis: “Well, you might be needing those ‘heavy hands’ in the Jet City Rumble tonight-“

Starr: “Heavy hands and the agility of a cat. Never gonna throw the Starr over the top rope, got an unbeatable move. Wanna see?”

Alanis nods, reluctantly. Starr grabs her from behind – it looks like a hammerlock..but with too much bodily contact. Too much for Darryl Devine, who walks around the corner.

Darryl: “What the hell? (To Starr) Get off my wife!”

Starr: “Make me. (Devine advances) Seems the violent type baby, want me to get security?”

Darryl: “Won’t be necessary sleaze (Shoves Starr against a wall) I got the matter in hand.”

Security do arrive, alerted by the noise. They break up the pair and escort them back to their locker rooms. (D)

DDD comes on to the stage. Taking in the crowd’s boos, he begins to speak;

DDD: "So, y’all unhappy with me? (awaits boos) That’s grand, it really is. If I wanted the approval of you morons in the crowd, I’d pull my teeth out and take up professional binge eating. De Aske? I hope you’ve got the message. There will be no title reigns for you until you prove yourself worthy by facing me. Wanna take on the big names? Until ya face me, there will be no big matches for you. I’m tired of see punks like you pushed ahead of me – it’s time for the Diamond to shine!” (D-)

Jet City Rumble

Everyone pairs off immediately – which leads to Jameson throwing The Architect (Elimination #1) and Bulldozer dumping Heizenger (#2). Starr ducks a Morgan charge, sending The Trademark to the floor (#3). Bulldozer clotheslines Svensson to ringside(#4). Wolfe tries to stand up to Bulldozer, who just feeds him to Hernandez to eliminate with a springboard clothesline (#5).DDD, who has been beating Jameson down in the corner, is backdropped to the ring apron. He ducks a Jameson clothesline, but gets caught by a Hernandez dropkick and eliminated (#6).

This leaves a final four of Jameson, Hernandez, Starr and Bulldozer. Starr tries to team with Bulldozer and gets clotheslined for his efforts. Jameson tries to toss him, but Starr is able to hit a low blow then sends Jameson into a Bulldozer press slam to the floor (#7).Starr and Bulldozer then try to double team Hernandez, which breaks down when Bulldozer accidently clotheslines Starr over the top rope (#8). Down to just Hernandez and Bulldozer; Mainstream goes at the big man all guns blazing, but gets his eyes raked on an elimination attempt. Bulldozer takes the initiative and belly-to-belly suplexes Hernandez over the top for the win.

Winner – Bulldozer Brandon Smith @ 17:54 (C-)

As he makes his way down to the ring for the main event, Greg Black snatches the mic from the ring announcer

Black: “So this is EPW eh? I wasn’t expecting much..and I didn’t get much. Typical rinky dink backyard operation. I’m only here cos the IWA sent me – I wouldn’t step inside this godforsaken city by choice.

Trust it to be run by a USPW reject too. Devine, you can’t even beat the scrubs of USPW, how will you fare against me? I’m a big league star, a draw. These people (glares at crowd) all left their run down homes to see me light up the card. I’m taking the belt back to Pittsburgh, see it I can trade it for something more valuable…like a McDonalds" ©

EPW Intercontinental Title Darryl Devine © vs Greg Black (PSW)

Devine takes the fight to Black – the crowd is right behind him, roaring as he pounds away on the arrogant Canadian. Black responds with enough cheating for ten disqualifications, then begins to work on Devine’s arms in order to stop the Devine Dream Drop.

Devine counters with Devine Intervention (Springboard back elbow) and goes up top. Black cuts him off, but a superplex is countered into Devine Dream Drop in midair! Devine scrambles for a cover, but Bulldozer Brandon Smith slides into the ring and drags Black to his feet...into a Backdrop Driver! Graveson calls for a DQ.

Winner – Greg Black @25:01 (C+)

As Devine remonstrates with Ref Graveson, Smith spins him round …straight into an Inverted Piledriver! Smith then poses over Devine as the show ends. (D-)

Overall rating - C

Predictions

Tiberious4 - 2/4

Midnightnick - 2/4

Jaded - 1/4

Everyone got the main event wrong, including me - Black had creative control (do all alliance loanees get this?) so I had to do a DQ finish instead of a Devine win.

So Tiberious4 and Midnightnick are joint winners, so both can ask any roster member a question if they wish

Wednesday Week 1 April 2013

Seattle

Jet City Rumble 1 had gone perfectly. Even Greg Black abusing his creative control couldn't ruin the show.

From J sharing road stories from when we use to travel together in Canada (So I get drunk and dress up as a nun occasionally...we've all been there) to the reveal of Mainstream and Jameson, the better than expected Battle Royal and what I though was a great main event with me and Greg, I couldn't have been happier.

I hoped I was going to as happy with our next show...

EPW Intercontinental Title Darryl Devine © vs Bulldozer Brandon Smith - I doubt Devine will job for a long, long time.

Hugh de Aske and Thomas Morgan vs Dazzling Dave Diamond and Alvin Starr - Starr's so awesome he doesn't even NEED DDD.

Kirk Jameson vs The Architect

Mainstream Hernandez vs George Wolfe -I quite like Wolfe and the Architect, but their respective opponents are both better hands at the moment.

EPW Pacific Title Rhino Umaga © w/ Carl Batch vs Pumpkin Jack (ZEN)

EPW US Tag Titles American Cobras © w/ Carl Batch vs Western Alliance - With Batch on their side, it'll be a while before the champs lose either of these titles.

Team Relentless vs The Philly Blondes (PSW) - I appreciate no-one told Greg Black this, but the idea is surely that you bring the imports in to job...

Sunday Week 2 April 2013

Jett's apartment, Toronto

http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/Jettsapartment_zps49f0f1ed.jpg

"So...what did you do this time?"

J always greets me with this when I arrive at his apartment. Am I that predictable?

"I've kinda...sorta messed up the card for In Bloom."

J shook his head. He was trying to rank the scale of the disaster on the 'Devine Scale', as he called it.

"It's worse than time #323 when you stole that nun costume while drinking, but still not as bad as time #431 when Alanis caught you trying her shoes on-"

How did he know about that?

"I was drunk J."

"At 8am?"

Bastard! Time to job Jett back to the stone age! To his credit, J can read me pretty well - he saw I was planning to job him back to the stone age and changed the topic.

"What happened with the card?"

"I faxed the IWA to arrange the loans of Pumpkin Jack and The Philly Blondes. Turns out they didn't get it and the loans never went through..."

"D-"

"I know, I know. Problem is Alanis had already advertised those matches on our website...you know for our fan prediction contest?"

"So, what's the plan?"

"Apologise to the fans and rearrange the card. Of course, I need to lay low for a day or too..."

"Do you not have friends nearer Seattle? You know, for when you piss Alanis off?"

"No J - only you and your couch understand me."

J laughed and gestured towards the couch

"I've laid the sheets out, just as you like them"

"Thanks J."

So I dumped my bag, made myself at home in J's 'office' (He only uses it for internet browsing and e-mails, that's not work) and began to plan out the amended card for In Bloom....

Sounds pretty close to my own (much less successful) NW based game, so I'll be keeping my eye on this one. I'm betting on all titles staying where they are to try and build up some succesful defenses.

Winner – Irwin Gutman @8:29 (D)

Pre Show DVD extras

In the hall Alanis is speaking with a crew member. As usual, she’s interrupted by Alvin Starr…

Starr: “Hey, beautiful, you never came back to me about our date!”

Alanis: (frustrated) “We’re not going on a date – I’m married!”

Starr: (oblivious) “So is that what that creep’s told you? Makes me so angry-“

Alanis: (losing her cool) “There won’t be a date! I’m married and love my husband!”

As Alanis storms off, Starr considers his options

Starr: “How’s Saturday at six? Call me baby, thank you very much!” (D-)

Katie Cameron and Jacob Jett are in the dressing room ahead of Jett’s match later tonight with Rhino Umaga

Katie: “So Batch…you got your monster to attack Jacob last month, thought you could get away with it? Jacob Jett backs down from no one, Umaga – tonight you’re going to feel the Jett Landing!”

Jett: “Damn straight – Gonna bring you down and take that title from ya!.” (E-)

EPW US Tag Titles American Cobras © w/ Carl Batch vs Western Alliance

The Alliance are growing in confidence with each match – they isolate Mallroy and pick him apart, despite Batch’s attempted interference.

Eventually Spillane tags in and starts to brawl with Heizenger on the floor. The bigger Spillane is in control, until Heizenger easily picks Spillane up and slams him on the concrete! Heizenger rolls back into the ring, giving the Alliance the count out victory!

Winner – The Western Alliance @7:39 (D-)

Starr is backstage, tuning his guitar. Suddenly Darryl Devine storms up to him

Darryl: “What the hell was that earlier?”

Starr: "Just a tune I’m workin’ on-“

Darryl: “Not the song moron, the bulls**t with my wife!”

Starr: “Listen, you gotta stop with these lies-“

Darryl: (furious) “Why don’t you stop me?" (takes a swing at Starr)

Starr: (angry) “Don’tcha mess my hair up!”

Both men then start brawling until the rest of the roster drag them apart… (E)

The Architect goes straight for the knees of Jameson. looking for the Blueprint (Indian Deathlock). Jameson doesn’t panic – the ice cool Marksman keeps Architect at bay with accurate strikes then counters an arm wringer into the Kirk-Hold (Crossface) for the win.

Winner – Kirk Jameson @6:05 (D)

Bulldozer Brandon Smith is in the back looking to share his thoughts with the crowd

Smith: “Devine..you got no chance of retaining that title! Last time we met it took a s**tty DQ for you to escape. Last month I left you in a broken heap. Come tonight I’ll be Intercontinental Champion and you’ll have nothing. Not even your slutty old lady!" (D-)

EPW Pacific Title Rhino Umaga © w/Carl Batch vs Jacob Jett w/ Katie Cameron

Much bigger than his opponent, Rhino has no problem manhandling Jett until he misses a turnbuckle Rhino Charge. Jett quickly hits a missile dropkick then looks to finish Rhino! Batch hops onto the apron for the distraction…

…a distraction which allows Marvel Mallroy to slide into the ring! Spin kick to Jett! Ref Graveson turns around to see a violent Rhino Charge to Jett! 1-2-3!

Winner – Rhino Umaga @7:42 (E+)

Alvin Starr and Dazzling Dave Diamond make their way to the ring, mics in hand

DDD: “So, Hugh de Aske, you haven’t got the message yet? Until you earn it, your career will not progress. Why must you earn it, son? Because unlike me, you’re not naturally gifted. Like these losers in the audience you have to work hard and try. Me? I was born great, so why should I let you ahead of me in the pecking order? (crowd boos) Got any words for Morgan, Alvin?”

Starr: “Nah, baby that Morgan’s dull as these people’s lives (crowd boos) I wanna talk about Darryl Devine. Hitting on ma woman is one thing, but you don’t mess with the Starr’s hair. It takes three hours to look this pretty Devine but just one minute for me to make you ugly. Thank you very much! You’ve been a beautiful audience!” (E+)

Hugh de Aske and Thomas Morgan vs Alvin Starr and Dazzling Dave Diamond

De Aske and Morgan run riot; Morgan in particular taking every opportunity he gets to stretch Starr. Starr escapes the STF to tag DDD, only for de Aske to come in and unload on DDD!

However DDD is able to use de Aske’s aggression against him – a wild de Aske clothesline sees DDD duck and roll de Aske up for 3…a handful of tights making the difference.

Winner – Starr/Diamond @11:20 (D-)

The lights go down as the ring announcer bills Mainstream Hernandez…then the opening riff of ‘When Your Heart Stops Beating’ by +44 kicks in. Mainstream Hernandez strolls out from behind the curtain cutting a confident figure. Sprinting down the aisle, he dives through the ropes and rolls to his feet! (E)

Mainstream Hernandez vs George Wolfe

A complete clash of styles; the athletic Hernandez is simply too quick for Wolfe;. The finish comes when the big brawler misses a clothesline and takes a Pele kick and Apparition #14 (Shooting Star Press) in succession.

Winner – Mainstream Hernandez @6:17 (E+)

Darryl Devine makes his way out to the ring for his Intercontinental Title defence. With the belt over his shoulder, he takes a mic and turns to the crowd

Devine: “So, Bulldozer, you think I’m gonna lose the title tonight? Sure you came close at No Love Lost, but you didn’t get the job done. You sneak attacked me last month and cost me a big match I had won? Still doesn’t mean you’re championship material…

Ultimately, titles are won and lost in the ring…and I haven’t lost in the ring. And don’t you dare insult my wife or I’ll beat you like I plan to beat that third rate Elvis impersonator…." (D)

EPW Intercontinental Title Darryl Devine © vs Bulldozer Brandon Smith

Both men start strong, trading punches and chops. Bulldozer wins that battle and takes control until Devine lands Devine Intervention. From there, Devine hits a Tornado DDT for a near fall and looks to set up the Devine Dream Drop…

…until Alvin Starr runs to ringside! Devine loses his focus and tries to head to the floor. Graveson stops him, but misses Starr throwing his brass knuckles to Bulldozer. As Graveson boots Starr to the back,. Bulldozer levels Devine with the knuckles then hits an Inverted Piledriver, 1-2-3….

Predictions

Jaded - 4/7

Dewar - 4/7

Midnightnick - 3/5

Tiberious4 - 2/5

So Jaded and Dewar win this round. Again, sorry for the mistake - I have no idea how I didn't save the pre booking/alliance loans, I play with auto save enabled...

That said, no one got Devine or The American Cobras losing. In the case of Devine, I don't want to push my user character to the moon; he'll always be in the main event mix due to talent and overness, but I want him to interact with everyone on the roster.

I wouldn't worry about the mistakes. It adds to the flavour of a just opened, run by a neophyte owner and booker. Devine shouldn't be the besterest booker of all time. I think Jett's couch might be at least as good.

I'm enjoying Devine and Jett most, obviously, as they've been the most fleshed out. Hopefully you can keep adding to the others as the game develops.

I'm a bit surprised at the grades your angles are getting, I always thought Devine (at least) produced the goods onscreen, I may be skewing my memory back to J Silver's USPW diary where Devine was nearly divine.

When are you and AAA going to have some interaction? Or have they moved?

Thanks Beeker, you're right - the mistakes do add to the game. Just felt bad because people had taken the time out to make predictions. If I do it again, I might let Jett's couch book the rest of the dynasty...

Devine and Jett get most of the writing time because I find I can write for them naturally and they're instrumental to the start of EPW. As more happens in the game world, the other characters should get fleshed out.

I'm not great at the mechanics of TEW13, but compared to other regional/small games I've ran on TEW10 the grades are pretty good - for me anyway! Devine is good, but he's nowhere near as over as in J Silver's USPW, hence the difference in grades.

AAA are still in the North West - the only interaction I have with them is when they win the regional battle every month! We must interact with CZCW though as Alanis has simmering tension with Cliff Anderson...maybe because we came #2 in March?

Tuesday Week 1 May 2013

Seattle

"So, are all the wrestlers booked?"

It was my own fault. I clearly couldn't be trusted.

"Did you arrange any loans? Have you faxed the IWA? Do you have confirmations?"

Now I was going to get this every month....question after question after question....

"Have you told the advertisers the card? Have you picked up the event posters? Have dinosaurs taken over Seattle?"

...question after question after question...wait, that last one wasn't a real question, I think Alanis has realized I've zoned out...

"No, they haven't - they're preparing their resources for an attack on Europe. I've booked the card, no loans this month, wanna focus on our own talent. The event posters will be completed this afternoon so I'll pick them up then take them down to the advertisers."

"Excellent, I'll start arranging the travel paperwork then."

The posters weren't gonna be ready until Friday and I'd lost the advertiser's number - Alanis didn't need to know that though. At least I'd finalised the card...

Mainstream Hernandez and Darryl Devine vs Bulldozer Brandon Smith and Dazzling Dave Diamond - I loves me some DDD, add in some angry BBS and the need to make the heels look strong as they chase DD's Emerald Belt and it's a classic tag heel win.

KC Glenn vs Alvin Starr - Glenn brings some sunshine to Seattle... he MUST win.

Kirk Jameson and Western Alliance vs Rhino Umaga and American Cobras w/Carl Batch - When animals attack!

Hugh de Aske vs George Wolfe - When animals attack 2! It's not as good, or successful as the original.

Jacob Jett vs The Architect - Couch assisted win!

Dark Match - Thomas Morgan vs Irwin Gutmann - Gets his revenge for Dragonmack's treatment of him in Trademark Pro Wrestling.

Pre Show DVD Extras

Thomas Morgan vs Irwin Gutmann

A technical battle; Morgan and Gutmann trade holds, looking for the submission victory. Gutmann looks to have the Tiger Sleeper hooked in, but Morgan slips out and applies the STF for the win.

Winner – Thomas Morgan @ 5:37 (E+)

Carl Batch, Rhino Umaga and The American Cobras make their way to the ring. Batch ensures the Cobras are between him and Umaga before speaking.

Batch: “Now then, my clients have a 3 vs 3 match today and it’s one we intend to win. Intend? Destined! I have Rhino Umaga here, a monster who thrives off the pain of his victims and the American Cobras, the best tag team in the world today-“

Malloy: “-Well, second best-“

Batch: (impatiently) “-Who’s better than you?”

Malloy: “Shibanumo & Yuasa, the Burning World Tag Champions-“

Batch: (to Spillane) “If he mentions Japanese wrestling one more time, I’ll kill him. I swear I will kill him….”

Spillane: (to Malloy) “Lets go…maybe we let Carl talk in future?”

Both Cobras exit the ring, leaving Batch alone with Umaga

Batch: (nervous) “Wait-wait for me Cobras, we need to organise that…thing with the thing-“

Batch drops the mic and bails after the Cobras. Rhino follows, biting any body who gets in his way… (E+)

Main Show

Bulldozer Brandon Smith and Dazzling Dave Diamond are in the back with some words for Darryl Devine and Mainstream Hernandez

Smith: “Take a look at me Devine – I’m a real man. No women problems and I’m the Intercontinental champion. If that goofy Elvis wannabe had looked at my old lady funny, I would have broken his arms there and then. If you can’t deal with him, how ya gonna live with the Bulldozer?”

DDD: “Mainstream Hernandez….if ever a name told a lie, it’s yours. There’s nothing mainstream about you, you’re just another faceless indy wrestler. Another face in the crowd. Me? I’m the Main Event. You ain’t in my league. Tonight I’m gonna send ya back to the Caribbean, back to Puerto Rico where you belong!" (D)

Jacob Jett w/ Katie Cameron vs The Architect

The Architect susses out Jett’s speed and goes straight for the knees to try and slow him down. Unfortunately for him, a back drop attempt leaves him open for a Jett Take Off.

Winner – Jacob Jett @8:29 (D)

Alanis is backstage in her makeshift office, when Alvin Starr barges in…

Starr: (trying to be casual) “Little lady?”

Alanis: (trying to be patient) “Alvin…what can I do for you?”

Starr: “I owe you an apology…been comin’ on a little strong-“

Alanis: “Yes, you-“

Starr:(dropping to one knee) “Marry me baby”

Alanis: (stunned) “Wha-what???”

Starr: “Move to Memphis with me, be my queen-“

Alanis: “No! I’m already married!"

Starr: “Playing hard to get?”

Alanis: “No!!! Get out!!!” (grabs laptop and launches it at Starr)

Starr: (ducking) “Feisty, just how I like em!” (D+)

Hugh de Aske vs George Wolfe

Wolfe tries to bully the Belgian Rebel, but finds that de Aske is happy to trade strikes! Wolfe gets the better of the brawl, then charges into the Cut-Throat Driver to give de Aske the win.

Winner - Hugh de Aske @ 8:05 (Cut-Throat Driver) (D-)

Devine and Hernandez are backstage at the EPW interview point

Darryl: "Bulldozer, don't you dare bring Alanis into this! Only reason you're champ is because a sleazy Elvis wannabe interferred in our match last month! One on one, you got no chance!"

Mainstream: "Diamond...I get you too dude. Older guy, looking to make the most of your remaining years...it's cool, I got a grandpappy too, so I know what you old guys are like. Mind goes too, hence why you think you can keep up with Mainstream" (D)

Rhino Umaga and American Cobras w/ Carl Batch vs Kirk Jameson and Western Alliance

Ref Graveson can’t keep order from the start; both teams brawl all over the ring! Eventually the Cobras isolate Svensson, allowing Rhino to inflict serious punishment on the Swede.

However, Svensson breaks free and tags in Heizenger, who shocks the crowd by slamming Rhino! The Cobras try to set up a Cobra Strike on Heizenger, but Jameson cuts off Spillane. Mallroy, left three on one, panics and hits Jamesson with a low blow for the DQ.

Winner – Jameson and Western Alliance @ 12:48 (D)

As Jameson recovers from the low blow, Rhino sneaks back into the ring and attacks him! A violent Samoan Drop leaves Jameson in a broken mess on the mat (D-)

http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/TennesseeWilliam_zps4cd66ec8.jpg VS http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/KCGlenn_zpsc15c071e.jpg

Alvin Starr vs KC Glenn

Glenn is too skilled for Starr – Memphis’ finest is on the backfoot from the start. Eventually Starr slows Glenn – the brass knuckes to the ribs help – and plants him with the Starr Sign (Double Arm DDT) for the win.

Winner – Alvin Starr @6:21 (E+)

As Starr celebrates, Darryl Devine races down the aisle! Starr sees him coming and bails to the floor. As Devine hits the ring, Starr dives over the guard rail and heads for the streets (E)

http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/MainstreamHernandez_zpsdc10eaca.jpghttp://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/DarrylDevine_zps45256d7c.jpg VS http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/BulldozerBrandon_alt5_zpsa4a9dddd.jpghttp://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/EPW/DazzlingDaveDiamond_zpsfd54c62e.jpg

Mainstream Hernandez and Darryl Devine vs Bulldozer Brandon Smith and Dazzling Dave Diamond

Both teams are evenly matched – it’s Devine and Mainstream’s speed and workrate vs Smith and Diamond’s power and rulebreaking.

Ref Graveson can’t keep up with the cheating, allowing Diamond and Smith to take over the match. However the advantage doesn’t last long – Mainstream flips out of the Backdrop Driver and hits Smith with a perfect superkick! Devine drags Diamond to the floor as Mainstream covers, 1-2-3!

Winner – Hernandez and Devine @ 23:12 (D+)

Overall Rating - D

Predictions

smwilliams - 5/6 (enjoying your IPW diary so far!)

Beeker - 2/6 (Devine lost the title the previous month to Bulldozer, so you were right about the chasing)

Jaded -5/6 (I'm still laughing at Buzz Reid not getting a mask...that and Welcome to the Reinvention are my TEW13 highlights so far)

So a tie between smwilliams and Jaded, neither got Jameson and Western Alliance.

At the risk of getting force choked; you did the predictions after the show was posted and only got 4 right :-)

I'm sure Youngman will pop up at some point due to talent turnover; EPW is modelled on my NYCW games where most of the roster gets stolen at some point.
