What I'll probably do is once this is complete as a full release, I'll see how many companies are in the database, then decide whether they'll be in by default or if they'll be DLC so as not to bloat the default data.</p>

And JCP is now finished. Moving on to the AWA. I was thinking of doing Mid South, but for some reason, I can't find a January 1985 roster for them on WrestlingData.com. >.< The Mid South Wrestling Association has no roster listings for whatever reason, and the Universal Wrestling Federation listing has every year except the one I need. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Did you try December 1984? I've done that a lot with my 2004 mod.

The latest it goes is March 1984, for some reason. Weird how there's so much information on many organizations, then others, it seems someone just got lazy.

And Griff, thanks for the link. Great reads! ^_^

Quick question: Would anyone have a problem with me creating a separate thread for the Risky Business DLC? This way the information about it doesn't get lost here in this thread, and discussions about that data can be in that thread, while keeping the focus of this thread to the default Risky Business mod.

Glad they worked. I actually deleted them because I couldn't get them to work for myself. LOL.

I think it would be better to make a separate thread for the DLC. That way it avoids confusion between the two.

I was playing a game in justtxyank's Rising Storms 1991 mod myself and got all the way up to 1993 until justtxyank released his most updated version of the data. I decided to start up a new game save with that one and write a diary on it, and that's the only reason I abandoned the previous game save. Otherwise, I would've been into 1994 on it by now. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> So yeah, they're great for long term games, especially because of the guys and gals who debut in later years. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Mid-South were definitely around in 1985, Ted Turner had them on TBS against WWF after the Black Saturday fallout but when the slot became World Championship Wrestling, MSW lost their slot so it could be that they wound down operations temporarily a bit in 1985. Bill Watts tried to take them national and were then rebranded UWF sometime in 1986, like Jaysin said.

<p>I have seen matches from 1985 for Mid South. The problem is most sites don't have a listing of the matches or who was on the roster in January of 1985. This might be the hardest year to replicate because 1985 was the year so many things were changing rapidly in pro wrestling. So you guys understand what I mean.</p><p>

TBS alone had four wrestling shows on the air at this time. From 4 different wrestling promotions at the time. WWF, JCP, CWG, and Mid-South. WWF prime time wrestling starts January 1985. WWF has more programming on the air in 1985 than any other time in their history. </p><p>

Georgia is in all tense and purposes an child promotion of JCP ran by Ole Anderson but Crockett and Dusty had the final say. An that comes from an interview from Jim Cornette had which he says Ole was given orders the Midnight Express was to be booked to never lose on TV. Because after World Class they were sent Georgia before going to JCP.</p><p>

Matt keep up the good work on this I am glad that you took this mod because I know it will be better than what I could of done with it.</p>
