<p>Battleground should be up tomorrow sometime. I apologize for the slight delay, it's because at the moment I'm trying to sort out the database for this, so changing popularity, title histories, that sort of stuff. In the meanwhile I have a poll for you all which will help me get this finished. I'm obviously using the PPV results to help me decide this but plenty of people have barely been on PPVs so I'm letting you decide their popularity. </p><p> </p><p>

Basically the people that come high up in the male poll will start around C popularity, most will start at D and then the people that come last will be E's. </p><p> </p><p>

For the women's poll it will be the same but D/E/F instead. </p><p> </p><p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Battleground</span></span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre Show: United States Title: Antonio Cesaro vs Damien Sandow</strong></p><p>

In an entertaining opener the United States champion looked in good form. Sandow had recently spoken about his desire to pick his career back up but tonight wasn't the night this happened. Antonio truly feels like an unbeatable champion and was able to use his sheer strength to keep Sandow under his control for most of the match. Sandow almost caused an upset with a roll up but Cesaro managed to roll over and pick Damien up to hit an impressive Neutraliser. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Antonio Cesaro</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Show: Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara and Dean Ambrose vs The Samoan Swat Team</strong></p><p>

A lot was on the line in this match, if The SST were victorious then The Usos would gain a tag team titles shot and Reigns would win a future world title shot. If they lost however, Ambrose would be the man to get the world title shot. It was clear that despite his size advantage Roman is intimated by Ambrose, and the two barely fought until the later stages of the match. In the end it was a Rey Mysterio mistake that gave The SST the win when after failing to notice a tag he was surprised by a Spear. After the match Ambrose was furious at the tag champions but it was all too late. </p><p> </p><p>

Winners: The Samoan Swat Team</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Paige and AJ vs The Funkadactyls</strong></p><p>

In a relatively short match the new divas champion teamed up were AJ to take on the two who beat down her friend last month. It was a close match but AJ and Paige managed to keep control througout most of it. Perhaps because of this some complacency crept in and a roll up on Paige was able to give Naomi the win. </p><p> </p><p>

Winners: The Funkadactyls</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cody Rhodes vs Batista</strong></p><p>

Cody has finally seemed to break out into the main event as of late with great matches against the likes of Daniel Bryan. Batista however was a huge obstacle for him to overcome both metaphorically and literally. Along with Orton and Axel, Batista was determined to keep people like Cody down and tonight was his chance to do so. The match itself showcased Cody's aerial abilities, a leg drop from the top rope almost got the pin and then a moonsault to outside the ring surprised The Animal when he tried to take a breather. The message was clear, if Batista wants to stay above Cody in the pecking order then he had better keep up with his pace. Ultimately Batista was unable to do so and despite hitting two big spinebusters the momentum shifted when a disaster kick seemingly came out of nowhere. After a Cross Rhodes Batista was unable to kick out which gave Cody one of his biggest PPV wins. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Cody Rhodes</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dolph Ziggler vs Bray Wyatt</strong></p><p>

Mr Money in the Bank went up against the dominant Wyatt with seemingly little hope of making it out of the match on his own two feet. The Family have destroyed all competition so far on their mission to rid the WWE of it's heroes but tonight they perhaps met their match. Ziggler's performance showed that he might be ready to hold the World title, he was not only able to duck and dive away from most of Bray's attacks but he was able to launch his own offence which put Bray on the back foot for the first time in months. Sensing this, Harper tried to get involved but a baseball slide took him out. This did however give Bray a chance to pull him in for Sister Abigail but Dolph reverse it mid move into a Zig Zag to pick up the win. After the match, Rowan and an embarrassed Harper slid into the ring but Dolph was able to slide underneath and make a quick exit to celebrate on the ramp. Dolph clearly won tonight’s battle but when you wage war with the Wyatt's there is never a true winner. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Dolph Ziggler</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Intercontinental Title: Big E Langston vs Kane</strong></p><p>

Big E defended his title against Kane only one month back, but from the very get go it was clear that this was a different Kane. Langston soon became aware of this monstrous side when a big throat thrust got the match underway. From then on Big E struggled to stay in the match, Kane was relentless in his violent barrage and didn't give the youngster any space or time to recover from each move or precise punch. At one moment Big E managed to duck under a clothesline and begin a come back hitting a few running shoulder blocks and finally managing to knock Kane off his feet with a drop kick. When he tried to pull the monster up off his feet his hand tightly gripped his throat and lifted him up for a chokeslam. Kane stared down at the champion and decided to pick him up and hit another chokeslam before pinning him for the belt. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Kane</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE World Heavyweight Title: Daniel Bryan vs Ryback</strong></p><p>

In separate pre match interviews both men were asked what they thought about not being in the main event. Ryback responded that it is typical that The Big Guy is robbed of his spotlight but that after tonight he will be unavoidable, Bryan on the other hand wished both men in the main event good luck but also sent a warning that the match is irrelevant because just like the many men have challenged him for the belt and failed, CM Punk or John Cena will be no different. </p><p> </p><p>

Bryan's confidence certainly seems to be well placed, from the bell he was able to keep the momentum in the match but Ryback's power soon slowed him down. After a huge meathook clothesline the champion was dazed and confused but was just able to slip out of a Shell Shock. The two put on a match that would have been fit for the main event, perhaps one of Ryback's best ever matches but despite this he was unable to pull off the upset. When Ryback was ready to hit another meathook the two charged at each other but it was the flying knee that prevailed and got the win. </p><p> </p><p>

After the match however Bryan's celebrations were cut short when a frustrated Ryback got back into the ring and hit a Shell Shock. Ziggler's music then played as the Money in the Bank holder sprinted down to the ring, before he could cash it in however the lights went off, when they came back on Ziggler was flat out in the middle of the ring with the Wyatt Family stood around him. Bryan, still down from the Shell Shock was oblivious to how close he came to losing the belt. Bray laughed as the Family left the ring, happy that he had cost his enemy his chance at the title. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Daniel Bryan</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>John Cena vs CM Punk</strong></p><p>

These two have had some epic matches over the years and the stipulation of a shot a Bryan certainly made sure this match could be added to that list. Even more was on the line for Punk, as if he lost the he could never challenge Bryan for the title again. Probably because of this, Punk's streak of cowardice that has began to shine through lately was replaced with a desperation that was strong enough to keep Cena on the back foot. Kick after kick, Punk wore down Cena but was continuously unable to put him away. Even after a GTS, John was able to get the shoulder up, but soon after Punk managed to kick out of an AA. Both men took risks to get the job done, Cena went up high to hit a diving 5 knuckle shuffle but when Punk tried to hit Cena with an AA he was pulled down into an STFU. Punk almost made it to the ropes but when Cena pulled him back to the middle of the ring he realised it was hopeless and was forced to tap. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: John Cena</p><p> </p><p>

Battleground ended with a triumphant Cena celebrating his win, seemingly ready to take on Bryan next month at Hell in a Cell.</p>

<strong>Thoughts on Battleground</strong></p><p>

So some pretty low scores this month, quite a few matches which I imagine will come as a surprise. First one that got most people is Big E-Kane. I can see why the younger champion losing after just 2 months with the belt is a surprise but I really want this Kane to get over. I always intended to give him one last push before he retires but thought a world title run might be too much. How long he will keep the belt is a different question but in general I want the old, crazy, monster Kane to have one last real run. Second one that got people is the Wyatt-Ziggler match. I understand this as Bray has had a slow but constant push in terms of victories. Main thinking for this is with their only being one world title, it's important that in case Ziggler is going to win the belt, he needs to be strong. Also something that I like about Bray's character is I think it's hard to make him look properly weak, as long as he has Harper and Rowan and still cuts promos what's important is not necessarily whether he wins the match or not but whether he wins the overall game and with him stopping Ziggler from cashing in on a hurt Bryan I think he won the night overall. Last one that got a lot of people is the divas match, not so much to say really. Obviously the team of AJ and Paige is somewhat of a superteam but the Total Divas need to get wins sometime, and this seemed like the best opportunity. </p><p> </p><p>

But like always if any of you disagree, or have any comments in general then feel free to post them. Thanks for all the predictions. Poll responses, whilst still strong, have definitely fallen a little since the first few. I think this is partially because lately they have been most US title ones which are a little less important to the general direction of things (although I am excited to see how long you will keep Cesaro as champion) but some upcoming polls will be more important and hopefully more exciting for all of you. Speaking of which the starting popularity poll is open and can be found above Battleground. Although it's about midcard and below it will certainly have an effect on some longer term planning I'm about to do. </p><p> </p><p>

Hell in a Cell preview will probably be up later on today/tomorrow morning.</p>

Kane's a monster, and if he's due to retire soon, one last IC Title run would be good, and when someone beats him for the Belt, it'll make them, whoever that may be, look awesome! I also agree about Ziggler/Wyatt... Dolph needs to look strong. After all, he's potentially going to be the TOP GUY in the company soon... THE ONLY World Champion... and I agree that Wyatt can still look strong after a loss, something that a lot of heels can't. Plus, Harper and Rowan can lose to people Wyatt is feuding with, which makes them look excellent, and while Harper/Rowan's win/loss record is poor, noone really notices. LOVE what you've done with the divas division <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"></p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">October Recap/Hell in an Cell Preview</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>World Title</strong></p><p>

After defeating CM Punk at Battleground Cena is riding a huge wave of momentum going into his title shot against Bryan. The same however, could be said about Daniel who has had one of the most impressive title reigns in recent years. Despite this, Cena warned Bryan that he hasn't faced someone like him yet. Similar to their match at Night of Champions the build has been rather amicable and has been based around the respect these two have for each other, nevertheless it's clear that when the title is on the line these two will go all out, especially when they have to step into hell itself to do so. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>CM Punk</strong></p><p>

Punk was still angry over not being involved in the title match and continuously complained to Regal. After Regal turned down his second request to be inserted into the title match he attacked the General Manager. The Board of Directors warned Regal that action had to be taken against Punk for attacking a member of staff and the ageing veteran responded by challenging Punk to a match. Punk laughed at Regal's challenge but when the Brit locked Punk in a Regal Stretch to team him a lesson, Punk was soon up for the fight. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cody vs Batista</strong></p><p>

After losing to Rhodes at Battleground, Batista was furious and intent on proving to everyone that he is above Cody. Cody however, believed he had proved all there was to prove. The Animal however was insistent that he would get a rematch against Cody but the former tag champ would only agree to the match on one condition- if Batista loses he must retire. Batista was a little hesitant but his confidence allowed him to accept the match. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Intercontinental Title</strong></p><p>

After defeating Big E Langston in his rematch on RAW in an impressive fashion Kane was hardly the person you'd want to be facing at Hell in a Cell, either for a title. Ambrose however was ready to step up. The Big Red Machine warned Ambrose that he doesn't want to step into the ring with such a monster but Dean seemed oblivious to all warnings. An added stipulation has been made for the match, that it will be held inside of steel cell. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Usos' shot</strong></p><p>

After winning the six man tag at Battleground, The Usos get their shot at the titles. Mysterio and Sin Cara have been strong champions so far but, as part of The Samoan Swat Team, The Usos have a good shot at finally becoming tag champions. Roman has stated that he will be at ringside to help but told Jimmy and Jey that once he helps them claim the titles, they have to help him in his upcoming world title match which has been scheduled for Survivor Series. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Divas Title</strong></p><p>

After getting the pin in the tag match at Battleground, Naomi has won a title shot against the newcomer Paige. The rivalry has centred around The Funkadactlys using whatever methods necessary to win throughout the month, something which helped Naomi pin the champion once again on RAW leading many to question whether Paige is too young to hold the straps. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>United States Title</strong></p><p>

Cesaro issues an open challenge for his title match at the PPV. The Big Show was the first person to accept but in a warm up match against Luke Harper he was victim of a viscous Sister Abigail which put him out. Cesaro therefore issued a second open challenge which was answered by Kofi Kingston. Can The Swiss Superman continue his reign or will Kofi manage to claim another United States Title?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Wyatts</strong></p><p>

After his loss to Dolph, Bray was in a month long frenzy, taking out superstars left right and center. When he tried to take out Big E Langston however he met a brick wall, the numbers game however eventually worked down Big E but Ziggler ran down for the save. The two were on a search to find a third tag partner for a six man tag at the PPV and on the final week Big Show returned to gain revenge for the attack he suffered a few weeks earlier. </p><p> </p><p>

In the big six man tag opener Ryback showed that his title loss to Bryan last month hadn't done much to slow down his momentum. Kingston is a three time United States champion and so must know what is needed to win the belts, despite this it's obvious that Cesaro is one of, if not the, strongest champion Kofi has ever gone up against. In a good back and forth match Antonio was able to hit some big moves that slowed down the Wildcat. Kofi was forced to take a risk and went up high was met with a huge European Uppercut which he was unable to kick out of. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Antonio Cesaro</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Divas Title: Paige vs Naomi</strong></p><p>

Naomi controlled the opening stages of the divas match but despite her young age, Paige showed that she is far from inexperienced by managing to kick out of a few close calls and turning the match around with some reversals. Naomi almost hit the Rear View but when Paige ducked underneath this gave her the chance to hit the Paige Turner. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Paige</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>William Regal vs CM Punk</strong></p><p>

The 46 year old walked down to the match fully aware that his chances of winning were slim, but he was nevertheless ready to try and bend some respect into Punk in a way only Regal knows how. Punk's walk to the ring was very different, strolling down to the ring, clearly annoyed to be in the match but ready to happy to have been basically given permission to beat up the general manager. Punk was the man to actually give Regal the job but their relationship has slowly soured as Punk's title aspirations have failed to materialise. The match itself was a different story, Punk soon learnt that Regal had an infinite amount of moves in his arsenal. No matter what Punk did Regal had a reversal for it. This changed however when Punk connected big kick to the head which send Regal crashing to the ground. From then on Regal continued to fight on admirably but eventually fell victim to a GTS. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: CM Punk</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tag Team Titles: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs The Usos</strong></p><p>

The Usos have had plenty of shots at the title over the last couple of years but they are still yet to win the belts. Now with Reigns in their corner they are perhaps the most dangerous they have ever been. This was a very fast paced entertaining match, Rey and Sin Cara make up one of the most exciting teams to watch but The Usos can match them with their ability to go up top when needed. Jimmy almost got the pin but when Rey got his knees up it swung the momentum back towards the champion. This is when Roman realised he had to get involved but when he tried to pull Sin Cara's leg the high flier rolled out the way and then was able to hit a suicide dive. Rey was then close to getting the win but an angry Reigns got back up dropkicked Sin Cara off the apron. He continued to beat down on the champion causing the referee to disqualify The Usos. </p><p> </p><p>

Winners: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cody Rhodes vs Batista</strong></p><p>

Orton and Axel were at ringside to back up Batista but Cody was on fire tonight. The Animal however was as dangerous as ever with his career on the line and unleashed a torrent of blows to Cody's back before hitting a devastating back breaker. When Cody began to gain some momentum Axel and Orton did their best to get involved but were sent backstage by the referee. With his interference lifeline gone Batista was truly backed into a corner but was still able to surprise Cody with a Batista Bomb. Rhodes kicked out and it started to dawn on Batista that his career was truly threatened. He tried to hit a second Batista Bomb but Cody reversed it into a DDT and almost got the win. Soon after he was able to connect a Disaster Kick but still couldn't put The Animal away. In order to try and claw his way back into the match Batista tried to untie the protective cover on the turnbuckles but this gave Cody the chance to hit a second disaster kick. Once again Batista kicked out but when he went for a Spear, Cody rolled out the way which left Batista to go crashing into the exposed turnbuckle. Cody grabbed The Animal and hit the Cross Rhodes to get the win. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Cody Rhodes</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan vs Dolph Ziggler, Big E Langston and The Big Show</strong></p><p>

On his quest to cure Sister Abigail Bray Wyatt has made plenty of enemies however none have resisted as much as Mr Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler. This has only exacerbated Wyatt's desperation to take out Dolph but tonight he had some friends to help him in the form of the two time former IC champ Big E Langston and the 7ft tall giant The Big Show. The six man tag involved some entertaining spots and both Big E and Ziggler shined. Despite this Harper and Rowan were able to double team Big Show and hit a double powerbomb to get the win. </p><p> </p><p>

Winners: The Wyatt Family</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Intercontinental Title: Hell in a Cell: Kane vs Dean Ambrose</strong></p><p>

To call Ambrose a rookie would be to drastically over look his impressive few years in WWE but it's safe to say that he hasn't faced anything like Kane in a Hell in a Cell match. Kane seemed to unload years of pent up aggression on the former US champion in one of the most brutal matches of the past few years. Dean managed to stay in the match despite being Chokeslammed onto a steel chair but when The Big Red Machine threw him against the Steel Cell so hard that Ambrose crashed through it, he finally failed to kick out, giving Kane his first title defence. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Kane</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE World Heavyweight Title: Hell in a Cell: Daniel Bryan vs John Cena</strong></p><p>

These two have now had quite a few main event matches together, but seeing the two clash in the steel cell was certainly a memorable moment. Part of the cell was missing due to Ambrose crashing through it and this allowed some of the action to spill out the cell. This became particularly dangerous when Bryan tried to climb up the structure but was pulled down by Cena which sent the champion through the announce table below. Back in the ring, Cena was unable to get the pin and when he tried to pull Bryan up he was reversed into the Yes Lock. Cena struggled to break free but was able to stand up whilst Bryan was still on top of him and hit a big AA. Bryan still managed to kick out much to the surprise of Cena. The two continued to clash over the prestigious title with Bryan swinging the momentum back into his favour and even hitting a diving headbutt. Bryan continued his onslaught but when he attempted a 5th kick to Cena's body he was caught and pulled into an STFU. Once again though the champion showed great determination and was able to break free from the hold. The two were both exhausted as they made their way back up to their feet, Bryan charged and attempted a running knee but Cena just managed to jump away. Daniel got back to his feet but he turned back around his was met with a second AA which managed to put the champion away. </p><p> </p><p>

Winner: John Cena</p>

<strong>Thoughts on Hell in a Cell </strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

So I think the only match that you all got wrong was Cena beating Bryan. Kind of surprised with it being Cena, maybe it's you more saying that you don't WANT Cena to win, who knows. I was a little sad to end Bryan's reign but Cena is the type of guy you can't keep from the title for so long. Then again with Reigns getting a shot next month, Ziggler with the briefcase and Bryan owed a rematch it won't be easy for him to keep the belt. </p><p> </p><p>

Other than that I don't think they're are any big shocks but hope you all liked it. Just trying to get these last couple of PPVs posted so I can start the RAW's now. Excited to properly write the road to Wrestlemania 31.</p><p> </p><p>

<p><strong>Novermber Recap/Survivor Series Preview</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cena's first challenge</strong></p><p>

After his huge win against Daniel Bryan, Cena is now a 15 time World champion. As champion he has taken on many of the greats such as Triple H and The Rock. This month however he faces a truly hungry challenger who is yet to have won any singles title in the WWE. Despite this Reigns is going to be one big challenge for Cena, especially as leader of the Samoan Swat Team. The rivalry centred around Reigns and The Usos making Cena's month hellish but John remains confident that he has beaten better men in the past. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Traditional Survivor Series Match</strong></p><p>

On the first RAW after Hell in a Cell Orton and Cody clashed when Randy wanted revenge for Cody retiring Batista. Regal therefore made both men captains of each Survivor Series team. Orton was soon to recruit Axel whereas Cody brought in Dolph. Bray then told Orton that he will allow Harper and Rowan to join his team in order to take out Ziggler but then the next week Rollins returned ready to find some revenge off The Wyatts. Orton then reluctantly recruited Kane which caused Dean to offer his services to Cody. On the final week The Big Show became the final member of Cody's team. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tag Team Turmoil </strong></p><p>

After the initial couple of months as champions everything was going well for Rey and Sin Cara in the ring. Outside the ring however the relationship was soured due to Sin Cara getting all the credit, albeit probably deserved, for the duos victories. When Rene question Rey on being happy for Sin Cara's success he flipped and challenged his tag partner to a match at Survivor Series.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>United States Title</strong></p><p>

Cesaro has been one of the most dominant US champs in recent years but this month sees him face off against three opponents at once in a fatal four way for the title. This match was made when all three challenges picked up a win on Smackdown impressing Regal. Will Cesaro be able to defend the title against all three men or will we see a new champion? <a href="https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/X6WVKDN" rel="external nofollow">Vote on the winner here</a></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Divas</strong></p><p>

After defeating Naomi at Hell in a Cell, Paige was beginning to prove that she deserves the belt. However the Total Divas have been able to play the numbers game this month and screw both Paige and AJ out of singles matches. This has caused the two anti-divas to challenge Eva to a match but the former champion would only accept if she had both The Funkadactyls in the match too. AJ and Paige accepted the handicap terms but have found someone to be their bodyguard. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronda_Rousey" rel="external nofollow">Ronda Rousey</a> recently joined the WWE after being recommended by her friend CM Punk. Apparently Ronda was reluctant to leave MMA at first but had her mind changed by The Rock with whom she recently filmed Fast and Furious 7 with. Ronda is yet to step foot in a WWE ring but the former UFC champion is sure to have a strong presence at ringside to even the numbers out. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Punk</strong></p><p>

After defeating the GM Punk truly felt untouchable, Regal wanted to prove to him that this wasn't the case and so went on a search to find someone to take him down a peg. Regal search was fruitless for weeks but when the youngster Big E Langston requested that he be put forward the GM admired his ambition and gave Langston a match with Punk at the PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Return of Y2J</strong></p><p>

Daniel came out to congratulate Cena for his win at Hell in a Cell but warned John that he plans to invoke his rematch clause if he beats Reigns at Survivor Series. That night however he has beatdown my a mystery man who later revealed themselves to be none other than Chris Jericho. Confused at why Jericho would target him Bryan was on a mission for answers which he received on the last RAW of the month when Jericho turned up. He cut a promo that stated over the past couple of years he hasn't gotten the respect he deserves, instead being put into matches with lesser men as he put it. Jericho told Bryan he respects his accomplishments but it's for that very reason that he wants to take him out to prove he's still got it. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre Show</strong></p><p>

The Pre Show will feature a triple threat tag team match in order to determine the number one contenders for Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara although with them clashing at the PPV whether they will still be together is a different matter entirely. </p><p> </p><p>
