Rebooking Nitro's

Recommended Posts

Another great Nitro. I can see Jimmy Hart siding with Revolution or bringing a new team. Also Luger/DDP vs nWo match's rating suprised me,even with no finish you got 80 from them which is awesome in WCW 2000.

Also sportsmanship and nWo doesn't match very well. Let's see how nWo responds it on Thunder.

That's the idea, Bret Hart and Ric Flair will educate them to be different. They never were in the NWO, but became the leaders of it almost immediately. It's the new century too, so some progress is needed for everybody. No promises that this will work, though.

WCW Thursday Thunder Preview

Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs. Juventud Guerrera

This cruiserweight match is expected to be packed with high-flying action, ladies and gentlemen! Not only we will see two styles mash up in harmony, but we also will know who of those two men deserve to call themselves the next Chavo Guerrero Jr's opponent! Juventud has some unfinished business with Chavo, but we can all agree that Liger is one of the best in the world. Experience vs. young age, on Thunder!

Norman Smiley vs. Vampiro

Norman Smiley changed significantly over the past few weks. That man tries to defeat the biggest opponent he had in his life - fear. Smiley should really clinch all his manliness on Thursday, because other way you won't keep up with the monster Vampiro is.

The Disco Cats (The Cat and Disco Inferno) vs. The Revolution (Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn)

Before their singles competitions, Dean and Perry requested a tag team match to keep themselves sharp. They also don't want to lose the tag team chemistry they created. Malenko and Saturn are considered to be favorites here, but you can't write The Cat's legs off. Disco Inferno also has something in his pocket, and he can't wait to show the fans what is it.

Rick Steiner vs. Mike Rotunda

A classical match between former best friends, tag team partners even. Something went horribly wrong, and "The Varsity Club" kept losing their tag matches to everybody. Now, both veterans look on too revive their single careers, and to do so, they need to know who the weak link was back in the day. Statistics prefers Mike, but math won't help him to put "The Dog-Faced Gremlin" on the shoulders for the three count this week.

nWo 2000 (Ric Flair and Scott Steiner) vs. The Revolution (Jeff Jarrett and Shane Douglas)

First match for Jarrett in a t-shirt that has no black and white colours on it! After a couple of months Jarrett realised he put himself into a wrong company, where nobody cares about him. Jarrett and Douglas align today to bash heads with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner. You all know how much Douglas and Flair love each other. Also, Steiner has a chance to bully Jarrett full-time, as he can be called a traitor now.

Booker T vs. Hulk Hogan

Our last, but not least. Hulk Hogan doesn't like the attitude Benoit lives up to. Hulk challenged Chris for a one-on-one fight, but Piper put his nose in the world title picture, and gave Benoit a rest. From all people, Booker T felt like he owed Benoit something, after that last main event "The MVP of WCW" had. Booker really believes that Benoit's attack on Bret saved Trish Stratus for him, so there you have it. Young, cocky and overconfident main event playa meets the idol of millions, the old school face veteran with golden moustache! Hogan vs. Booker T!

Revolution Wins Lol

Rick Steiner vs. Mike Rotunda

Weren't they as a team? Did i miss anything? Both guys past their primes but Rick's brother is doing well,so you won't fire him. Yeah, that's the logic behind this pick.

A video plays, hyping the illustrious career of one and only - Randy Savage. "The Macho Man" won four WCW world heavyweight championships, but failed to do that for the 5th time on Monday, and now has to ride away in the sunset. 81/100

http://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0210/c5/1308579eb4a8d288a4650868292b44c5.jpg

Randy Savage cuts a promo and lets the fans know he is a Person of Honor. As he has lost the match on Monday, he congratulates Bret Hart on a well fought contest and then says his goodbye. Before he leaves, he thanks all of those that either loved or hated him - and that he always tried to leave them entertained. Fans chant "Don't go, Macho!"... but it's too late. 73/100

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jushin Liger defeated Juventud Guerrera in 9:05 by knock out with a Koppu Kick. 56/100

Jushin Liger demonstrated exceptional ring awareness, thus pushing the scalepan on his side. Juventud jumped around Liger in the first minutes of the bout, but then found himself on the mats, completely losing a grapple game to the veteran. Liger wanted to get the victory after the SSP, but was too slow compared to Juvi. Guerrera catapulted himself back in the ring, but got a rolling Koppu kick in the face instead. Liger's heel knocked the youngster out, and the ref fixated "Thunder's" victory via knock out. Also, Liger broke his tradition of putting 48 rated matches.

The cameras catches Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page backstage discussing something. DDP really can not believe that Savage leaves that early. "Flair insulted you, covered your name in mud, and you'll just leave it how it is? Look, Randy, we need you! Fans, boys, WCW! Please don't go, man. Let's kick Flair's ass first! Come on, Macho!". Randy Savage smiles and says he's going to miss DDP. 74/100

In an extremely short match, Vampiro defeated Norman Smiley in 4:40 by pinfall with a Nail in The Coffin. 53/100

Vampiro was rocking here. Probably Dustin's blood gave him some powers? Instead of his lethargic style we saw some quick combinations and a lot of slams delivered to Norman. Vamp used some moves that belong to the son of Dusty Rhodes. Poor Smiley continues to solve his "fear problems", and it looks like he needs to do something extra to overcome his personal obstacles.

Steven Regal is backstage with Roddy Piper. He asks to be given a chance to wrestle in a high-profile singles match. Piper rejects the request and books him against Brian Adams instead. Steven is not happy, the expression on his face makes it obvious. A little bit of disgust, pinch of the irony, and a tiny disappointment. 56/100

http://i60.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/06/1cd927ea6bce422befed303d5346c306.jpg

Terry Funk has an interview in which he taunts Sid Vicious. The main resource of Funk's jokes is Sid's memory. "HE forgot his belt...ahahah...and I thought I was old...hehehe...I hope you won't forget it next time...hehe..." Terry doesn't get it, huh? Sid did it on purpose, and now the crazy oldman confronts him about it? Funk is out of his mind. You don't piss against the wind, you don't lick the frozen swings, and you DON'T LAUGH SID VICIOUS OFF! 61/100

Regal comes out, and gently asks ladies and gentleman to hear him out. Crowd automatically boo-es this gentleman, who's absorbing people's hate. Mr. Regal wants to express his point of view, but the roar of Brian's bike kills the soft sound of Steven's voice. Regal tries again - Adams jerks the handle of the rudder. Englisman starts yelling, but quickly loses his voice. It doesn´t matter anyway, Adams is coming for him!

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Steven Regal defeated Brian Adams in 6:58 by pinfall with a roll up. 59/100

Steve was dodging and blocking Brian's requests to brawl, exploiting a lot of rest holds and submissions. It all came to the end when Regal academically used Brian's momentum against him, scoring the victorious roll up.

http://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/b1/6b4a8f639e69e3d7310dee8aebdebdb1.jpg

Dustin Rhodes was found hurt in the locker room by Kanyon, and thus was sent to the hospital. Something bad is going on with the fella, he's not looking normal at all. "Champagne" jumps in the ambulance car and asks doctors what's wrong with Dustin? Paramedics have no idea what is happening to Rhodes, but the concerned look on the face of the youngest one, paramedic Richards puts Kanyon in panic too. 40/100

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Revolution defeated The Disco Cats in 6:04 when Dean Malenko defeated The Cat by submission with a Texas Cloverleaf. 61/100

The Cat probably won't be in the mood and physical conditions to dance for the next week.

Tired Regal packs his stuff in the briefcase. Malenko and Saturn have a little chat with the gentleman, assuring themselves that they're not only ones who are getting rejections from the commissioner. Shane Douglas comes in and gives Steven a visit card. Camera zoomed, so we could see that piece of paper in a better projection. It looks like a mockery of Uncle's Sam motivational poster. Instead, Shane is in the hat. Franchise wants you for "The Revolution"! Smooth. 72/100

http://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/ee/93e010b4c0c3813a1c6c2ef2016b47ee.jpghttp://i59.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/da/b4c29d0e176d248037ec3e84a9d2b1da.jpg

Hulk Hogan comes to the ring and challenges Chris Benoit to a match at Nitro, next week. Straight up, no nonsense. Piper quickly comes out to solve the puzzle for Hulkster. "Hogan, I told you, you won't fight Chris Benoit until he wins or loses his rematch at Uncencored. Your fists are itchy? I heard some guy wanted to go one on one with you. You can have him tonight.". That man is obviously Booker T, but that's not enough for Hulkster. He wants more. 83/100

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rick Steiner defeated Mike Rotunda in 8:18 by pinfall with a Flying Bulldog. 57/100

Yep, math betrayed "The IRS" tonight. After all those arguments, Rick confidently put Rotunda away with his signature maneuver. Steiner Sr. starts a new chapter in his story.

http://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/e8/0a0a7a282076c224557e7d475fd0b9e8.jpghttp://i59.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/e6/daf6927e43ae5791ee85c9923c2ebfe6.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/13/6874dc473990fd881db8c204d6f33b13.jpghttp://i57.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/70/f6d6fed1ed1abd2872465502fb992070.jpg

DDP has his own meeting today, it seems. Eddie Guerrero, Lex Luger and Chris Benoit are sharing the same seats, obviously talking about the NWO. Guerrero wants to slay Konnan, Benoit is after Bret. Luger thinks about the abducted Elizabeth first, and only then about Steiner, Flair, Nash and Hall. DDP was expecting Savage to join them, but Randy already left the building. Luger says that they shouldn't trust him anyway, so it's for the better... 61/100

Jarrett and Douglas have a backstage brawl with Scott Steiner. Ric Flair is late for the save, Jeff already smashed his red guitar across "Big Poppa Pump's" head. Flair swears a lot, the match against The Revolution is next! 70/100

http://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0210/88/5c6232ef854f32c791b7bbf62dd0f188.png

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Jeff Jarrett and Shane Douglas defeated Ric Flair and Scott Steiner in 12:47 when Jarrett defeated Steiner by pinfall with a Stroke. 77/100

Jarrett is still undefeated! Odds were against the Double J, but our US champion took all his anger on Flair and Steiner. Douglas had his chance to stiff "The Nature Boy" up a little bit, but Steiner was protective for his NWO mentor even in his state. The Stroke secured the newest Revolution memeber a victory in his new team. 82/100

Booker T cuts a cocky promo hyping up his upcoming match with Hulk Hogan. Booker says he idolized Hogan when he was a lot younger, but today is different. Booker T is all about success, and nobody could stop him right now. Trish doesn't know a lot of wrestlers yet, but she sure as hell knows who Hulk Hogan is. Trish is impressed by the speech of her admirer, as she asks Booker to be his manager for tonight. Of course Booker lets Trish to manage him, much to her enjoyement. Stratus will be able to see a celebrity, so she's pumped. 71/100

http://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0213/de/f382d636a573989435466a4ae41475de.jpg

Hulk Hogan makes a spectacular over-the-top entrance. Trish looks at him with a fire in her eyes, Booker warms up in the ring. Referee asks Stratus to leave the ring and time keeper to ring the bell. Our main event is on! 86/100

http://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0210/e9/4958b271b85deba9d68dc2894c9e6be9.png

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Hulk Hogan defeated Booker T in 8:44 by pinfall with a Leg Drop. 75/100

Booker asked the announce team to change the names for his moves. Scissor Kick was named a Playmaker, "Harlem Hangover" got the name "Take it to The Bank". Booker really wants to forget his past, if he's editing such things. What's next? He will change his own name? After all, a good old leg drop did his job, and made Hogan a winner of this bout.

Stratus marks out, her favorite wrestler won. Booker is a bit pissed about it, but you can't be mad at the beauty like Trish for a long time. Hulkster celebrates, and yells that he will wait for Benoit on Nitro!

Final rating: 80/100

Increased our popularity in 10 regions. (2.68 on TBS)

WCW Monady Nitro Preview

  • Hulk Hogan appointed a meeting with Chris Benoit on Monday. Physical contact is possible, if you look at Hogan's will to fight Hart and Benoit's temper.
  • Cruiserweight division gives us another six man tag team match. Berlyn should find some connections with his arch rivals Juventud Guerrera and Evan Karagias to win the match. On the other side, La Parka and Kaz Hayashi will represent Liger's corner, they must be living a dream now. Winners are likely to improve their positions in the contender lists, so Chavo Guerrero must scout those fellas.
  • The Revolution starts gaining momentum. After Jarrett joined that group of noble seekeres of truth, the buzz around that stable became much louder. Many boys in the locker rooms want to join the movement too, but it looks like you can't be a part of it, if you're not suiting the position. We know that Steven Regal qualifies just fine for that place, and he could be the newest draftee this Monday!
  • After Konnan demolished Eddie's low rider, things got much more serious between the two. Eddie is blood thirsty again, so he will look for the moment to attack the Cuban thug with all his might.
  • Rumours say that WCW expects a legitimate fighter to join the ship where the big boys play. Nothing more to say about the mystery man, he's more into fighting than talking.
  • Family drama between Booker T and Stevie Ray reaches new limits - now the big brother of Booker T doesn't like Trish. "The MVP of WCW" changes his presentation to mock his own family, and that's not good.
  • Terry Funk is out of his 159th retirement, and now he's looking to bite the gold Sid forgot to take with him last week. Everybody thinks that Funker is out of his mind, but you can also add that he was always crazy like that.
  • Jimmy Hart's idea to have a series of singles matches between Filthy Animals and "The Revolution" got a lot of support not only from the fans, but from Ted Turner too, believe it or not! This Monday we'll see Rey Mysterio take on Dean Malenko. Those two had classic matches before, so why not repeat the old tricks and get the advantage not only for themselves, but for partners too?
  • In our main event of the night, we'll witness DDP and Scott Steiner going at it once again. Last time DDP nailed "Big Poppa Pump" with "The Diamond Cutter", so he should try something new to defeat Flair's bulldog once again.

Official Nitro Match Card:

  1. La Parka, Jushin Liger and Kaz Hayashi vs. Juventud Guerrera, Evan Karagias and Berlyn w/Hertha, Wilhelm and Jacob
  2. Konnan vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr.

No chance, but I figure Booker will probably cost his brother the win anyways.

Dean Malenko vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

I think DDP would make a good challenger for Bret while Benoit is off with Hogan.

March 2000, Week 2

South West, Tucson Convention Center (7,918)

http://i59.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/29/b1b18f9485ffad2f871debbe89a05029.jpghttp://i59.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/30/dd909e81db9042bf31f49494a603e930.pnghttp://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/b6/50ec339accb5532558ec0aba9c6e75b6.jpg

We start off with Hulk Hogan already in the ring. Fans meet the legend with mixed reactions, one are happy to see Hogan in the ring, other - not so much. Hogan starts talking about how complicated it is to please everyone. Even if your soul is clear, somebody will boo you, somebody will be against you, and that's all right, brother. But all things have limits, and you shouldn't cross the line in the sand, jack. "Benoit, I'm talking to you. Come out here, and prove you have some self-respect and dignity!"

Piper cuts Hogan off. Roddy makes a tired grimace, and walks down to the ring. Commie says he asked Hulk nicely, and it had no effect at all. "Hulkster, it's not your business! You WON'T fight Bret Hart at Uncensored, and I can guarantee you that. Neither will you get Benoit tonight. You see, in all fairness, Benoit deserves a rematch. Hart screwed him real good, and needs to pay for that. Like it or not, you're not involved in there, brother. So please, be nice...” 80/100

Benoit heard enough, and now he heads to the ring. Piper spits on the floor in annoyance... Chris bluntly gets in the face of Hogan, who just looks in the eyes of the number one contender. Chris takes the microphone away from Hogan. "I'm sick of your double games! You want to fight, I will fight you right here, right now!!"

Piper loses it, and starts screaming on both of them! "The only man that is disrespected here is ME! I'm running affairs up in this bitch! You two are suspended! Get the HELL out of my ring!! Security!! Send those two out of here!"

Guards are reacting to that command, and surround the ring. Hogan and Benoit looked for a fight, and they will get it right now!!! Chaos breaks out, Chris and Hulk are brawling with the law enforcers, sending them out of the ring. More guys in blue uniform burst into the squared circle! Still, Hogan and Benoit fight them off! Piper grabs a baton and knocks both of them out!!! Fans can’t believe it! They boo commie out of the house! 69/100

http://i58.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/0d/e861d5270552e67ed8e5ca8be27faf0d.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/a1/61847def5b178cccb572ed0de00831a1.jpghttp://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/44/e58b891ecc376aa6c6276bb828610b44.jpghttp://i66.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/8a/187ac8f75e1fed8f61a178da9bf80b8a.jpghttp://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/05/56177ef57b2a24a5c4e64168ee64ec05.jpghttp://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0215/92/42eab0405b1d1f5cf33f93a291e6ca92.jpg

Full nWo squad jives up Piper backstage. They were really entertained with all that stuff in the opening segment. Piper is not in the mood, as he sends Konnan to the ringside. Piper really doubts that Hall and Nash could defeat The Harlem Heat 2000 tonight, the same feeling he has for Steiner vs. DDP. Bret Hart smirks, his competition was knocked out in the start of the programming! Piper says he will meet Jarrett on Thunder, champion versus champion match! Flair is booked against Luger on Thursday in the end. Satisfied Piper slams the door of his office, he needs some rest now. 80/100

Chris has poor entertainment skills, what could I do? He's progressing, but not so fast as you would expect from the number one contender. I'm also afraid this angle can cut some popularity and momentum off "The Rabid Wolverine". Hulk, on the other hand recieved a lot from this one: +1 in US popularity, almost 10 points of momentum and a baton to the back of the head.

http://i60.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0216/6d/e54748e0022fca806fcc29dc2b56cc6d.png

In a bout that had solid in-ring action, but not much in the way of heat, Konnan defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. in 7:05 by pinfall with a Montezuma's Revenge. 54/100

After the match Konnan puts some boots on Eddie's nephew, and poses to get some boos. He squashed his subsitution in the "Filthy Animals". K-Dogg grabs a mic, and starts to shit on the Guerrero family. Konnan shows his hand, and starts to bend fingers. As he recalls the names of Mando, Hector, Gory and Chavo, we are left one-on-one with Eddie, who is a middle finger...

"That goes to you, perro!"

Eddie comes out very slowly, hiding something behind his back. People in the stands can see what Eddie has brought to the table, so they produce a dramatic 'ooooh'. It's a baseball bat with razor blades in it, the macuahuitl of 2000! Konnan shuts up immediately, and backs off. Eddie swings the thing in Konnan's direction, but K-Dogg is already in the Row Z. Eddie drops the weapon and helps Chavo to get on his feet. 70/100

A promo video with a shady person rolls in. That's probably a debutant! Voice over the camera says that legitimate force is coming to WCW soon. A shamrock four leaf clover appears on the screen, as shade tears off the quater, throwing it in the camera... Three leaves are left, but the mystery person is not interested in the clover anymore. ??/100

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Berlyn, Juventud Guerrera and Evan Karagias defeated La Parka, Kaz Hayashi and Juhin Liger in 11:26 by pinfall with a Final Justice. 51/100

Despite terrible chemistry, heels scratched a victory. Kaz and Parka had a minor argument in the match. Both wanted to get the tag from Liger, but never decided who should go first. Even rock-paper-scissors were ineffective! Chavo must be confused with the result, because Karagias got a victory! That's a career highlight for the young man. Juvi and Berlyn are not entirely off the title picture, they will probably get shots too.

A recap from last week continues the collage minute, hyping up a singles match between Rey Mysterio Jr. and Dean Malenko - next!

In a match that had some good action, but not much in the way of heat, Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Dean Malenko in 14:41 by pinfall with a Victory Roll. 69/100

Good stuff from both guys, that's a pay-per-view material match! Maybe not the best match between this two, but surely a classic for TV format. Jimmy Hart ran out with his megaphone after the match and started to yell "Filthy Animals - 1, Revolution - 0"! Douglas and Saturn must be livid, but they will get a chance for revenge on Thursday!

Bam Bam Bigelow and Terry Funk are killing each other behind the scenes. "The Beast From The East" probably confronted "The Texan" after he put his eye on Sid's hardcore belt. Not literally, but Funk has no problems to do that figuratively. Triple B sends Funker in the trash container back first, then yells "YOU CAN'T TAKE MY PLACE!". Is he talking about the belt, or the actual seat in the locker room? Who the hell knows. Out of the blue, Mike Awesome picks up a cracked bench and throws it into Bigelow! He also grabs Terry by the neck and breaks legend's back with a mortal Powerbomb! Mike turns to the camera, and whispers that Sid will have an excuse for leaving the belt home... because at the end of the day, Awesome will tear his arms out of the sockets! 66/100

In a bout that featured good action and average heat, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall defeated Big T and Stevie Ray in 9:53 by pinfall with a Jacknife Powerbomb. Trish Stratus interfered in the match, spraying a hair lacquer right in Stevie Ray's eyes. 73/100

Hall and Nash whistle when they see a beauty. They probably think she's a fan, so don't waste any minute and invite her in the nWo limo. Trish can't do anything, but she clearly doesn't want to be neighboors with Miss Elizabeth! Booker T and Buff Bagwell sprint to the ring and save the blonde. Booker says something offensive to Hall, and a fist fight breaks out. Buff Blockbuster on Kevin Nash and a Playmaker on Scott Hall put a fat mark in this brawl. 68/100

Nice tag team we have there. Trish played a role of a dumb blonde in this one, forcing her boys to save her from the veterans of the business. I also like the background of those pics, it screams "faction" to me.

Jarrett and Douglas appear on the TurnerTron, they're both laughing at nWo's finest. Jarrett also taunts Booker T, saying that however it wasn't him who took the mysterious picture from Booker's belongings, he would "grab and tap the girl Stevie Ray bitchslapped"! Shane proceeds to talk about the champion versus champion match on Thursday, promising that Double J will be "The Chosen One" as always! Jeff wants to highlight that he has a winning streak of 10 matches, and Bret is far behind him - he has nine.

"Hitman, let's show those slapnuts who's the number one man in WCW! You and me, no run ins, dirty tricks and other shenanigans! "The Chosen One" will prove once again nWo lost it's biggest star!" 76/100

Our main event is coming. DDP vs. Steiner II, right after we'll see an Uncensored commercial. Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit in a submission match for the WCW World Heavyweight Title. You DO want to witness that, I'm telling ya! Tale of the tape, hype from the announcers and a warm up videos go first. Both sides rejected "Mean Gene's" offer to cut a good ol' pre-match promo. Without further ado, we give to you our main event!

In a bout that featured great wrestling and a good crowd, Scott Steiner w/Ric Flair defeated Diamond Dallas Page w/Kimberly in 15:03 by pinfall with a Frankensteiner. Lex Luger botched his interference, trying to get Flair in his own captivity. Instead our "Total Package" hit DDP, and costed him a match. 82/100

Flair gets a brass knuckles from his newly made jacket, and blasts Luger with it. Steiner rolls DDP over on his belly and applies a violent Steiner Recliner on "The People's Champion". Evil is victorious tonight, again... and it looks like "The Nature Boy" wants more! He orders Scott to grab Kimberly! "Big Poppa Pump" follows the order, and puts the victim on his shoulder, going away. Flair throws his jacket in the crowd, drops an elbow, and gets a Figure 4 on Page! Diamond can see that his wife is missing, but he can't do anything about it.

"YOU SEE THAT, DALLAS? YOU SEE THAT?"

Steiner smacks Kim's ass hard. So hard, that the sound of a smack could match Ric's chop in loudness. Steiner disappears, DDP loses consciousness... Flair gets up and gets "booed", not "wooed". 88/100

Final rating: 81/100 (4.06 on TNT)

When's the next PPV, it must be due soon?? Are there any confirmed matches for it yet?

Funny that you asked, right now only the main event is scheduled. The other 8-9 matches are not confirmed yet. We have less than 2 weeks, I think. And thanks for the praise, as always. :p

Good show and lot of suprises-at least for me-. You are pulling a miracle in WCW. Also after Benoit,do you have a new main eventer? Like Malenko or Rey?

1) Scott Steiner. I'm moving him in that direction, and he never held the main championship. 6 time world tag team champion in WCW and 2 times in WWF, 2 time world television champion, and once the US champion. He can go all out, he can tell a story, he's not that bad of a person too. Add some star quality, charisma and a golden gimmick - that's your future world champion. He's 37, so I should hurry up.

2) Jeff Jarrett. Not a big fan of Double J, but he's a good heel. Not the #1 maybe, but one of the most hated. Can put up a good match, has a good role. Another factor for him being pushed forward is his relationship with Vince McMahon. The only way he could get there is if Vince buys him out just to fire again. I don't think "The Chosen One" wants to get there again... he's very happy here.

Some guys who are not there yet:

  • Eddie Guerrero. One of our ring generals. Only 32 years old, he's entertaining, he is an all rounder too. Can play both heel and face, can train the youngsters, can go one hour. He's an upper midcarder at the moment, but he will get his ME push soon.

  • Booker T. He will go up eventually, that star quality is something. Has a chance to become the #1 face in WCW, but we have a little problem with him. He was in prison, and Turner said that I can not offer new conracts to ex-prisoners. I'll break that rule for Booker, don't worry.

  • Shane Douglas. The leader of the Revolution, so a world champion in the making. Great, entertaining worker, will fight for the #1 heel position in the future. Not a very good guy behind the scenes, but it's wrestling. As long as he draws, he deserves to be on the top.

  • Rey. He is amazing, on of the fan favorites. WCW's marketing gold mine, if you will. Mexican territories, masks, screaming kids...

  • Regal. One of my "boys" in real life, hell of a worker. Only 31 years old here, so I won't rush the train with him. He has all tools necessary, so I see no problem with him being our main guy. Alongside with Douglas, a very promising heel. Steve is in fact a better candidate for that role...

  • Malenko... never say never. His biggest obstacle is his mic work. If he improves that, why not? You, my readers, are deciding who gets the brass ring at the end. I'm just a writer.

When it comes to Owner goals in a diary, I'd switch them off, Bloody. Or at least backup your save regularly.

Last thing you want is to be accidentally fired and lose all your progress! Plus, it's your story, not Ted Turner's.

I also agree about Booker T as well. I think he should be pushed to the moon.

Man, the contract expires in the next year. God knows if I can continue playing this save for such a long time. Yeah, it would be great to last here 2-4 years, but I'm not looking that far away. I'm happy with my 10 pages here, because I love to start something new and never end it.

I'm not a fan of editor, but I suppose I could use it, if shit hits the fan. Also, I saw there critical and secondary objectives, so I'm not that afraid.

As for Booker T, he's not THAT good to be pushed to the moon, actually. He surely is a main event material, but him being our overachiever? Nah...
