The Minor Questions Thread

I'm under the impression it's still many months away, so if you are eager enough...😃 I'd say best wait a month or two after release for the optimal experience and play wnma4 now.

That being said, wmma3 is also really good so if you just got it I'd play that first.

Pay Per View Sales

What is the normal amount you get for pay per views buys? I'm only getting around 3 million despite being at low level international in every country (and have pay per view deals in every country except Australia). Am I screwing up, or is there something wrong with the game? ( The last pay per view I did got about 2, 851, 248 and had a commercial rate of 94 and critical rate of 79)

For example, if you have deals with ppv companies who are Insignificant then you aren't going to get the same viewership or money as companies who are Enormous.

It's more of a way to prevent the player from spamming events in order to build up your pop. I believe it shouldn't be that much given, in reality, I don't think people would care if "GSP vs Bisping" only had 6 main fights. The spectators probably would care a bit, but that's it.

Teams, when does new ones appear?

Hi!

I did an experimental mod with no initial fighters and 80 organisations with equal amount of money and no rep. I also erased all existing teams. Fighters appears at the first monday of each month until it´s filled up. The orgs runs smoothly it appears, but no teams has formed after more then two years of gameplay.

I'd expected to see teams form as fighters feel the need for them. Is there anyone here who knows what triggers teams to form? Is it total random or some other factors involved?

Thankful for answers.

They are formed during gameplay primarily through experienced fighters who have the name value to start their own team or by retired fighters who want a new career - your scenario would essentially turn off both avenues as newly generated fighters would be too young for either.

As I've mentioned in the past, if you make an unrealistic scenario then by its very nature you are likely to get unrealistic results from it. This is a good example of that.

I didn't want to take away from the new game discussion, but I posted this in the other thread:

Is there a way to change a regions ability to host mma events mid game? For example, if New York has mma as "illegal", could we change it to legal mid game?

That should almost eradicate new fighters. You can even turn off weight classes by setting the number to 0 if I'm not mistaken.

Question:

According to the tooltip for Critical rating, it is calculated by the three highest rated fights on the main show (main card). Also, you get a bonus if your main event is among the two hightest rated fights.

I had a main show where I got 3(!) fights that was rated fantastic, including the main event. According to the tooltip, my critical rating would be an avarage of fantastic (which i assume is 95-100%). So I should have got 95-100% critical rating. My critical rating? 83%. As most of my other shows. Appears it doesn't matter what kind of ratings the actual fights get. Most of my shows get 83% critical rating regardless of the grade of the main event.

Why is that? Is it a bug? Is the tooltip wrong? I would assume that a show where Cain vs Overeem for the heavyweight title (fantastic), Dillashaw vs Moraes (Fantastic) and Diaz vs Alvarez (Fantastic) who where my top 3 fights on the main show would get higher than 83%....

The short answer is that your assumption is incorrect. Fantastic is 80-90%. Excellent is 90-100%.
