<p>2016 is almost in the books for my SWF game and I am on a roll with building new stars and signing some big names (Nicky Champion, El Leon, Joshua Taylor, and three big names from Australia). My current plan is to implement a brand split to help me mix up my storylines, and I have always enjoyed a brand split. I wasn't sure how I am going to do it as I "retired" Richard already (my UC is Jack Bruce) and Jerry is the on-screen authority. My current plan is to have Richard die, and all of a sudden a "bastard" child of his will come forward with claims to the SWF throne. This will help me explain the brand split. Greg Gauge is my current World Champion, as he has shot up and is almost my most popular wrestler, behind only Remo and Jack. This is the first game that I am truly behind pushing three of my favorite underutilized workers: Paul Huntington (who I made into a Dean Ambrose type loose cannon), Captain Atomic-now dubbed Duke Nukem (creative I know), and Stone Cold Marshal Dillon. </p><p> </p><p>

Now onto planning who goes where, although I usually just use a random generator to sort everybody out! I am hoping to make this game last for several years, but we shall see.</p>

I mean he's the boss's son, instant heat for a "screw the rules, I have money!" sort of return to prominence a la Seto Kaiba. Damn, now I want to make a wrestler with a character like Kaiba from the Abridged series now...</p>

Playing the same time era. Just finished WrestleMania 21 in April of 2005. Here are my Franchise Players. Next time Rock leaves for a movie role, he'll be gone from wrestling for awhile while Stone Cold recently retired after losing to The Undertaker. Cena, Orton, Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam all recently be Main Eventers. Edge & Christian are close as well.

Love these updates guys. Always cool to see how people develop WWF/E games over time, judging by how many shows you have to book for it.

Playing as TNA in a March 2017 mod using Jeff Jarrett as my avatar but having him just be a Road Agent. Went on a firing spree and got rid of a lot of dead weight that I wouldn't want to book. Built up some money and then signed everyone on my roster to written deals. Brought back Kurt Angle, Magnus, Doug Williams, Drew Galloway, The Young Bucks, Motor City Machine Guns. Brought in Pete Dunne and Trent Seven, Penta El 0m, Fenix, Sami Callihan, Harry Smith, Kongo Kong and Kyle O'Reilly. Also signed Hulk Hogan to be the authority figure! Which by the way in this mod he is just getting done with legal troubles and I signed him for something like 13,000 a month, less then I paid for Galloway. Am almost to Bound For Glory 2017 and have a decent card set up.

Brooke Tessmacher vs Angelina Love ©

Knockouts Championship Match

The Dynasty (Lee and Everett) vs ReDWolveS (O'Reilly and Richards)

Tag Team Match

The Bully Brothers (Ray and Devon) © vs The Empire (Galloway and Bennett) vs British Strong Style (Dunne and Seven)

World Tag Team Championship Match

Cody Rhodes vs Lashley

Singles Match

James Storm vs Eli Drake

Singles Match

Crazzy Steve vs Kongo Kong

Sami Callihan © vs Abyss

X-Division Championship Match

Harry Smith vs Aron Stevens

TNA Grand Championship Match

Kurt Angle © vs Matt Morgan

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match

A pretty lengthy card but with tons of backstory going in to each match where I feel pretty proud of the card I've built in 8 months. I don't think there is a single match on the card that doesn't have some sort of story behind it. My biggest story is the Next Generation Storyline where Cody Rhodes turned heel talking about how everyone should not only give him respect and what he wants because he is Cody Rhodes, but because he is Dusty Rhodes son. This brought in Harry Smith who said the same thing, Cody and Harry feuded for awhile until finally realizing they were fighting for the same cause and joined forces bringing in Tama Tonga and Tonga Roa (G.o.D) to round our their faction.

Angle came back for one last run with the Main Title and I'm building up a young superstar to take the title off of him when his contract runs up, which should be right around Slammiversary, if he doesn't retire from wrestling before that. Also Angelina Love's husband Richards and his protoge Kyle O'Reilly have been pretty dominant in helping eachother cheat, but Angelina Love is the only one holding gold which is starting to rub O'Reilly the wrong way.

<p><strong>AUGUST 2019</strong></p><p>

Things still looking good for Real Japan Pro Wrestling. WWE are being as stubborn as ever and still reigning on top but the gap gets smaller every week. RJPW Starrcade 2019 was a 7 and a half hour show! (Turned off booking time limits so I could book as many as possible)</p><p> </p><p>

Sami Zayn is wrestler of the year, ranking #1 in the Power 500 with former WWE World Champion Dolph Ziggler at #2 and The Rock (!) at #3. WWE Universal champ Kevin Owens comes in at #4, Finn Balor #5, Seth Rollins #7, John Cena #8, Shinsuke Nakamura #9 and Karl Anderson rounds out the top 10. Mondai Ryu of DGPW came in at #6 to prevent a WWE top 10 clean sweep. Roppongi Vice won Tag Team of the Year, which may earn them a call up to WWE soon. Wrestlemania 33 was event of the year.<p> </p><p> 2018 will kick off with not only the Royal Rumble at the end of January, but the first ever United Kingdom Championship tournament! The two day tournament will be run as a B show on Day 1, then A show on Day 2, and will crown the first UK Champion, which will operate as an alliance title, and therefore defended throughout the WWE Universe. Competitors pencilled in include: Zack Sabre Jr, Neville, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Noam Dar, Will Ospreay, Big Damo, Drew McIntyre, Marty Scurll, Rampage Brown, Mark Haskins and Jimmy Havoc. Finn Balor is tentative at this point as I don't want him to dominate the division.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RAW:</strong></p><p> Owens walked out of TLC still Universal champ after Y2J cost Zayn the title. Rollins beat HHH at TLC as well to end their quick feud after HHH turned on Rollins on the RAW after Survivor Series. Rollins will move into a Universal title feud with Owens and Zayn, as it was Zayn who beat Rollins clean for the title before Owens cashed in. The new alliance of Owens, Jericho and Triple H will dominate RAW for the foreseeable future, potentially leading to the dismissal of Mick Foley as general manager and an increase in their stable ranks.</p><p> </p><p> Kenny Omega made his WWE debut, costing Kota Ibushi his WWE Cruiserweight title match with Jay Lethal. Omega quickly links back up with Bullet Club, who are dominating both brands. Finn Balor defeated Karl Anderson at TLC in a 93 rated match, while Shinsuke Nakamura defended the AJPW Triple Crown against Adam Cole in a 97 rated match <em>(Cole, Gallows and Anderson are all main eventers)</em>. Anderson will now challenge Nakamura while Balor continues to fend of the advances to join Bullet Club. Omega will slot into the Cruiserweight division initially but then move into the US Title picture.</p><p> </p><p> Katsuyori Shibata was called up to RAW and was challenged by Brock Lesnar to a match at TLC, with Lesnar coming out victorious. Lesnar will be looking for challenges from the best competition in WWE rather than chase titles. He's out to prove he is truely a beast.</p><p> </p><p> In other TLC news, Miz defeated Big E for the US title thanks to Maryse, while Nia Jax retained her Women's title against a recently called up Candice LeRae, who is the biggest babyface female on RAW already. With all 3 members of The New Day main eventers, Big E may get another shot at the Universal title, while Kofi slots into E's position in the US title scene, while Woods... not sure, possibly job him out to Baron Corbin and EC3 who I'm trying to build up, or Jack Swagger who just turned heel and I'm trying to give one more run.</p><p> </p><p><em> CHAMPIONS: </em>Universal - Kevin Owens; United States - The Miz; Tag Team - Ricochet & Will Ospreay; Cruiserweight - Jay Lethal; Women's - Nia Jax; AJPW Triple Crown - Shinsuke Nakamura.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>SMACKDOWN:</strong></p><p> Randy Orton retained the WWE World title in the Elimination Chamber match and now faces Bray Wyatt, who defeated The Rock in the main event of the Elimination Chamber PPV.</p><p> </p><p> Young Bucks reclaimed the Tag Team titles from American Alpha in a 99 rated match <em>(Jason Jordan is now a main eventer, while both Jacksons and Gable are Upper Midcarders)</em>, but now Beer Money and The Wyatts (Harper / Rowan) lay claim to their titles. In other Bullet Club related news, AJ Styles reclaimed both the GHC Heavyweight and W-1 Heavyweight titles off Jeff Hardy, and Cody Rhodes defeated Kazuchika Okada for the Intercontinental title thanks to AJ. Okada now chases both of AJ's titles, while Jeff will challenge Cody after Cody cost him his rematch on the next Smackdown.</p><p> </p><p> Kassius Ohno has turned face after CM Punk turned on his friend, after Ohno accidently cost Punk his World title Randy Orton. Ohno quickly found an ally in Cesaro, but don't expect Punk to not find some allies of his own soon...</p><p> </p><p> In other Smackdown news, Charlotte regained the Women's title off Asuka, and Caristico continues to hold the GHC Junior Heavyweight title due to the lack of faces in the division. The Undertaker challenged any member of the Wyatts to a casket match at Elimination Chamber, and Mesias (fka Ricky Banderas) stepped forward. Taker won and the Wyatts took the casket and lit it on fire, signalling that Mesias is no more. He has been sent back to developmental and will work his Mil Muertes gimmick from now on.</p><p> </p><p> <em>CHAMPIONS:</em> World - Randy Orton; Intercontinental - Cody Rhodes; Tag Team: Young Bucks; Women's - Charlotte; GHC Junior Heavyweight - Caristico; GHC Heavyweight - AJ Styles; W-1 Heavyweight - AJ Styles.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The Royal Rumble is in the books and The Rock has won his second rumble and is heading to main event Wrestlemania! We also crowned our first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion in Neville, who won a two night, 16 man tournament, defeating Finn Balor in the final, who had to fight uphill on Day 2 just to make it to the final 2.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>RAW</strong></span></p><p> Kevin Owens remains WWE Universal champion after defeating Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn in a triple threat at Rumble, thanks mainly due to Chris Jericho's interference on Zayn. This will set up Zayn vs Y2J for WWE Unforgiven, while KO will face Rollins.</p><p> </p><p> After dropping the NXT Heavyweight title to Tomasso Ciampa, Samoa Joe has finally been called up to RAW full time. During his part time status, he claimed the ultimate scalp in defeating Brock Lesnar, but this only unleashed Lesnar's wrath. During a beatdown from Lesnar on Enzo & Big Cass, Joe looked to make the save on his first full time night, but instead unleashed hell on Enzo. <em>Why has Joe sided with Lesnar and Paul Heyman? Will Heyman offer his services to Samoa Joe?</em></p><p> </p><p> Ethan Carter III finds himself in a star making feud with Roman Reigns, while The Miz continues to retain his newly won United States title over Big E, thanks to Maryse. Four great cruiserweight tag teams fight over the WWE Tag Team titles, with champs Ricochet & Ospreay retaining at the Rumble over the recently called-up Roppongi Vice, The American Wolves and Motor City Machine Guns. Kenny Omega is your new WWE Cruiserweight champion, claiming the title off Jay Lethal in a triple threat with Kota Ibushi. Nia Jax continues her reign as WWE Women's champion, ending her feud with Bayley at the Rumble, while Karl Anderson is enjoying his first single's gold, defeating Shinsuke Nakamura for the AJPW Triple Crown, thanks to interference from Luke Gallows. <em>What's next for the uncrowned RAW Bullet Club members in Gallows and Adam Cole?</em></p><p> </p><p> CHAMPIONS: Universal - Kevin Owens; United States - The Miz; Women's - Nia Jax; Tag Team - Ricochet & Will Ospreay; Cruiserweight - Kenny Omega; AJPW Triple Crown - Karl Anderson.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>SMACKDOWN</strong></span></p><p> Bray Wyatt is your new WWE World Heavyweight champion, defeating Randy Orton at Over The Limit, then successfully retaining in a rematch at Royal Rumble. If Wyatt retains his title until Wrestlemania, he will face The Rock in the main event, in a rehash of their epic feud that lead to Wyatt claiming a World title shot (Wyatt defeated Rock in the main event of Elimination Chamber). <em>This will be a hard task as Daniel Bryan will be announcing the first ever Smackdown Lethal Lottery!</em> 32 randomly selected Smackdown superstars will be put into random tag teams for a tournament. The winning tag team can select either a WWE Smackdown Tag Team title shot, or face off one on one for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title!</p><p> </p><p> One man who won't be in the Lethal Lottery is CM Punk. After losing his title to Orton at Survivor Series, Punk was angered to not have a spot in the Elimination Chamber as all 5 challenger spots were reserved for the winning Smackdown team at Survivor Series. Wyatt then beat him to the punch for Over The Limit, and Orton claimed his rematch for Royal Rumble. This angered Punk who confronted Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, and he took his frustration out on other superstars during matches, and even decked Shane, causing him to be thrown out of the building on numerous occasions. As a result, his name was withdrawn from the Lottery as punishment, leaving him with no clear path to the main event of Wrestlemania and his WWE World title rematch. <em>What is next for Punk?</em></p><p> </p><p> Braun Strowman has shot to the stars despite only having 20 matches in 2017. He finds himself at 87 pop and has been thrust into a feud with The Undertaker that could culminate at Wrestlemania. Cody Rhodes reamins Intercontinental champ, defeating Kazuchika Okada thanks to AJ Styles to earn his third reign. Styles' actions resulted in Okada coming after the GHC and W-1 titles, and Okada claimed the titles at Over The Limit, and defended them in a triple threat against Styles and the returning Tetsuya Naito at Royal Rumble (Naito feuded with Okada in his arrival in June 2017, but was sent to developmental straight after to get his pop up. Now he's back!). <em>Can Styles reclaim his double titles, or will Okada retain the titles until May's Invasion PPV in Japan?</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p> Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are your Smackdown Tag Team champs, defeating American Alpha, The Young Bucks and Beer Money Inc. at Over The Limit for the Bucks' titles, then again at Royal Rumble. <em>Could we see a mixture of the Bucks and Alpha as a team in the Lethal Lottery considering their blood feud since the Young Bucks' arrival in April 2017?</em> Charlotte has claimed the Smackdown Women's title, making her the first women to not only win both brands' Women's titles, but to win both titles twice, defeating Asuka at Over The Limit and defending against Becky Lynch at the Rumble. With Neville the first ever WWE United Kingdom champion, GHC Junior Heavyweight champ Caristico finds himself without a worthy challenger. <em>Who will step up to the plate?</em> I can tell you that Noam Dar has earned a call up to the Smackdown roster, and the newly minted face has already taken Neville to the limit for the UK title, but can we see him make a name in the Junior division?</p><p> </p><p> CHAMPIONS: World - Bray Wyatt; Intercontinental - Cody Rhodes; Smackdown Women's - Charlotte; Smackdown Tag Team - Luke Harper & Erick Rowan; GHC Heavyweight - Kazuchika Okada; W-1 Heavyweight - Kazuchika Okada; GHC Junior Heavyweight - Caristico.</p>

<p>Just finished 2020 with Impact. After coming back from a rather serious injury, I decided to give Storm a final push for the title as I don't think he'll be around much longer, got rewarded with my first 100 rated match against Shelley in the BFG main event. Think I'm going to 'de-push' them both though and build to MCMG vs Beer Money for the tag titles next year. </p><p> </p><p>

Not sure at all who I'm going to push for to the World Title this year. Cedric Rougeau has been hugely over for a bit now, but don't want to pull the trigger just yet. Think I'll put the title back on AJ heading into Mania, and have him face either Jimmy Havoc or Johnny Gargano, whoever gets over in time for Bound for Glory as both are currently about to break into the Upper midcard.</p><p> </p><p>

Slowly getting the Knockouts Division to where I want. Originally pushed Rosemary and Allie, getting them both to ~90 pop and as I've stole a few people from WWE, I've managed to get Emma, Becky Lynch and now Peyton Royce to that level. Going to try and get another 2 to that level by the end of the year, probably Billie Kay and Diamante, although she will take a lot of work.</p>

Supreme Challenge 38, my first 100 rated show.

http://i65.tinypic.com/11v4hmr.png

Some highlights of the show:

Randy vs. Z-End (Zimmy)

The inevitable Bumfholes breakup happened in November and has been slow building up to this blowoff match at Supreme Challenge. Randy won the match but suffered a cracked sternum that'll keep him out for a few weeks so this feud isn't over yet. Z will brag about despite his loss, he took Randy out of action. They will likely finish this feud in a Cell at Under Control in two months.

Primus Allen vs. Vengeance

Vengeance hasn't been seen for months but in the weeks leading up to Supreme Challenge, started playing mind games with Primus Allen. Allen challenged him to a match and Vengeance finally appeared at the Supreme TV before SC to accept. Allen dominated Vengeance in this match, putting him over as the most dominant heel on the roster as he mercilessly beat down on the legend. Vengeance may not be seen in an SWF ever again...

Spencer Spade vs. Wolf Hawkins

Spade and Hawkins had a best of seven series that Hawkins won. When Spade gave Hawkins respect for his victory, Hawkins brutally assaulted Spade and spit on his prone body. Hawkins continued to get the best of Spade at seemingly every turn before their final match at Supreme Challenge. Spade finally got Hawkins off his back and forced him to say I quit.

Robbie Wright vs. Fredrique Antonio Garcia

Wright was supposed to face his former tag team partner Kurt Laramee but Laramee tore his ACL just two days before the event. The Wright/Laramee feud never got going the way I wanted it to. Big Smack Scott was supposed to return to the company but got snatched up by SOTBPW and Laramee is already in physical decline so this match was probably better than the actually feud would've been. Laramee's in ring career is likely over but hopefully he can come back long enough to put Wright over in eight months.

Double Trouble HG (Greg Gauge and High Flyin' Hawaiian) vs. Bad Boys (Donte Dunn and Lenny Brown) vs. Gold Standard (Des Davids and Marat Khoklov) vs. Dynamite Express (Syd Collier and Cameron Jones)

Forgot to pick a winner here in this annual Four Way Ladder Match and Double Trouble grabbed their second title reign. Gold Standard had been the champions for just a month and will likely recapture the gold at some point soon.

Valiant vs. Hollywood Bret Starr (Special Guest Referee: Richard Eisen)

Richard Eisen has dropped plenty of people who have outlived their usefulness without any reservation. His reputation is well known and no one has ever had any leverage over Eisen in negotiations. That was until Hollywood Bret Starr won the World Title right before his contract was about to expire and left SWF with the championship. In a quick attempt to erase Starr, a tournament was held to crown a new champion but Starr shocked the world when he came through the crowd and stole the new belt. Richard Eisen made his first appearance in years to demand that Starr sign with SWF and brought out a bunch of legends to persuade Starr. It was Starr's own grandfather, the legendary Micky Starr who finally convinced Bret to rejoin SWF.

Eisen, however, still held a grudge. He immediately sent Starr through a gauntlet of opponents to get the title off of him and set up plenty of roadblocks for him ever getting another shot at the title. Starr's frustration boiled over but Valiant, the man he beat for the title, wasn't buying it. He called out Starr for being selfish and even told Starr that all he did was get lucky on one night. As Valiant and Starr looked to clash at Supreme Challenge, Eisen inserted himself into the match as the Special Guest referee and ended up screwing over Starr once again with a fast count.

Jack Bruce vs. Nicky Champion (Once in a Lifetime)

Champion debuted at Break Like the Wind 2016 and immediately got involved with the SWF World Title. Bruce and Champion looked like they were going to face off at last year's Supreme Challenge but Eric Eisen managed to ruin that. Now the two legends were finally going to face off. Bruce, the face of SWF and Champion, the former face of USPW could really only go one way in an SWF ring. Though Bruce should've probably put Champion over, Creative Control can be a pain sometimes...

Jimmy Hernandez vs. Joey Morgan (SWF World Title)

Morgan lost the World Title at Supreme Challenge last year but won the #1 Contender's tournament to find himself back in the main event. His opponent Jimmy Hernandez, won the title off Hollywood Bret Starr and has been a fighting champion for the past few months. This victory was Hernandez's official coronation as the new face of SWF. Hernandez is overshadowed by other main eventers but is having a positive effect on business and will likely face off with Jack Bruce in the near future.

Started in 1985, currently in 1990.<p> </p><p> So what's happened since Wrestlemania VI? </p><p> </p><p> The Rock N' Roll Express have taken over the tag team scene, winning the tag team belts from the British Bulldogs at King of the Ring. They also won the 1990 WWF Tag Team Classic, beating Bret and Owen Hart in the finals. Speaking of the Bulldogs, they are no more. I suspended Dynamite Kid for not showing up to a media appearance. The same day, Davey Boy and Bret Hart decided to piss off Chris Benoit. I didn't want to suspend Bret, my IC champion, so they only got a fine. But it pissed off Davey Boy to the point that he wanted a release, which I granted him. Dynamite seems to be OK with his suspension, as he's not upset at all. We'll see how he behaves when he returns. Maybe Davey Boy was the instigator all these years?</p><p> </p><p> After not being used very much for some of the year, Magnum T.A. would turn heel, yelling at and punching out the WWF President, Gorilla Monsoon. He would demand a title shot and after Monsoon put him through hell, got a IC title shot against Bret Hart. The problem for Magnum? Bret's brother, Owen, was named the special guest referee. After losing that match, Magnum promised that he would quit if he lost a rematch against Monsoon, and he wanted it in a cage. After a grueling match, Magnum regained the IC title for the second time in his WWF career.</p><p> </p><p> Shawn Michaels has continued his raise up the card, enlisting the big man, Diesel to be his bodyguard. It's only a matter of time before Michaels has gold around his waist.</p><p> </p><p> The Undertaker is currently sitting at 80-0 in his WWF career. An amazing run, but it has given him a massive ego. He's provoked two fights this year, getting his butt kicked both times. Once against locker room leader Danny Hodge. The second against noted tough man, Haku. He has also become toxic after making a bunch of religious slurs. I've invested so much in this Undertaker God-push that I couldn't just release him. I've chosen to ride out the storm and just take the hits from it. What could possibly go wrong?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> And now Wrestlemania VII is in the bags! But first, who won the awards for 1990? Not me, that's for sure! Hulk Hogan was wrestler of the year. WCW only had him in 33 matches, winning 20, losing 11, with one draw, but he had an average of 93, so, whatever. Antonio Inoki and Tatsumi Fujinami won tag team of the year. Condor Saito became the first woman to win young wrestler of the year. Terry Funk won veteran of the year. NJPW won company of the year. I had the match of the year, with The Undertaker beat Roddy Piper in a casket match. Also had show of the year for Wrestlemania VI. Hogan also topped the power 500 for the second time in his career. My first wrestler in the power 500? The Undertaker at 19!</p><p> </p><p> I've let quite a few wrestlers go lately. Magnum T.A., Chris Benoit, Bob Orton Jr, Roddy Piper, and Davey Boy Smith all signed with WCW. Benoit and Davey Boy asked for their releases, which I granted, I let Magnum resign with them since I had nothing else for him, Orton I didn't renew his contract, and he signed with them. I went all in on Piper but he chose WCW over me. Lame.</p><p> </p><p> Outside of The Undertaker scandal mentioned in my quoted post, nothing too interesting happened in the wrestling world. Sabu was forced to retire at 26 after breaking his back. Gonna be weird to see ECW without him. </p><p> </p><p> On the home front in WWF, despite losing a few stars to WCW, and my World champion being toxic, I like where my heading. Bret Hart won the 1991 Royal Rumble for a shot to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania VII. Undertaker still is undefeated at 91-0 since coming to the WWF. He also has a massive ego, leading to a few fights. </p><p> </p><p> After spending a few months in development, I finally brought the Women's division and title back to the WWF at my September supercard. Wendi Richter regained the Women's title against Alundra Blayze. The division isn't taking the WWF by storm but I like where it's heading.</p><p> </p><p> And now, for the Wrestlemania VII card!</p><p> </p><p> In the opening match, after months of trying to get at him, and losing a few matches against him, Arn Anderson finally beat Mr. Perfect.</p><p> </p><p> Next up, the Faces of Fear, after turning against Bobby Heenan the week before, defeated their former Heenan Family teammates, Hercules and Nikita Koloff, when Big Bossman turned against the Heenan Family.</p><p> </p><p> Testing out the singles waters for one of my former tag team champions didn't turn out so well, as Scott Steiner lost to Randy Savage. I don't know if Steiner will keep going down the singles rout or if he'll keep teaming with his brother, Rick.</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of the Women's Division, Wendi Richter retained her Women's title against former GLOW wrestler, Hollywood. Richter lost the title to Alundra Blayze at the Royal Rumble, but regained it a few weeks later when Blayze announced she was pregnant. Currently looking for a new heel to feud with Richter.</p><p> </p><p> In a disappointing match, Ric Flair defeated Dusty Rhodes. Since coming to the WWF in December, Rhodes hasn't been everything I hoped he would be. I'm hoping to find a young wrestler to team up with him.</p><p> </p><p> In the first men's title match of the night, Money, INC, (Ted DiBiase and Rick Rude), defended their Tag Team titles against the Fabulous Freebirds. Talk about a match you never thought you would see at Wrestlemania. Was my second highest rated match of the night, a 97.</p><p> </p><p> For the first time ever, a ladder match was held at Wrestlemania. After beating Kerry Von Erich for the IC title the month before, the cocky Shawn Michaels would put his belt on the line against Owen Hart. A fast paced match, that saw Owen take a stunt bump, Michaels would come out on top. These two feuding for the IC title has been a gold mine.</p><p> </p><p> And in the main event, after winning the Heavyweight belt a year ago at Wrestlemania VI, The Undertaker put his title on the line against the Royal Rumble winner, Bret Hart. First time these two have fought one-on-one, with great chemistry between them, they managed to some how get a 99 rated match as the Undertaker continued his winning streak. Will the Hitman go down like so many before him? Or will he come back again?</p><p> </p><p> Also at Wrestlemania VII, I inducted the first two members of the WWF Hall of Fame. Andre the Giant and Big John Studd. Despite them both still being active wrestlers, neither has been seen in over a year, and I just keep sending them on vacation until they retire.</p><p> </p><p> Else where in the WWF, Dynamite Kid, after losing his tag team partner, started with Rick Martel as the new Strike Force. Razor Ramon keeps going off to film movies, making it hard to invest too much in him.</p><p> </p><p> I took control of CMLL, NJPW, AJPW, and WCW and updated all their championships, events, and a few other things. Makes the game world feel more alive when I do things like that. I can't wait for ECW to form in a few years. Hopefully by than, a few other companies will have closed (or will WCCW and the AWA last well into the 90s!?), so ECW has a chance to strive. I have a few of their wrestlers (Dreamer, Sandman, Taz, etc.), in my dev company so that they can improve before hand.</p><p> </p><p> Still loving this game. Love seeing my own WWF evolve from the very start.</p>

<p>I'm back playing WCW lives after a long break from TEW. I started coming back and reading to forums and that made me want to start back up again!</p><p> </p><p>

I'm currently booking the go home show for Mayhem (the last PPV before Starrcade) and i'm really happy with how everything is going for the most part. Before i get into the card, i want to share my huge concern with going national. Right now, the national battle for me is not looking good if I do make it to national. The Rock and Steve Austin are at the maximum 1,000 for the national battle score, admittedly after that the ratings are similar to what I can pull, so i'm hoping Rock disappears for films permanently and Steve Austin retires soon, but with it being TEW and not real life both probably won't happen. So i'm basically stuck, not able to compete at cult level to snag some of their stars, but the national jump would last 2-3 months tops, despite the fact i'm pulling 80s-90s rated matches in main events. What do people think I should do? I'm working on building stars and popularity, i guess i should just be patient?</p><p> </p><p>

The card is looking like this for Mayhem.</p><p> </p><p>

Booker T Vs Scott Steiner Vs Rick Steiner for the WCW Title. The brothers are promising each other that one of them will take the belt and they will both be champion regardless of who wins, just as long as Booker T doesn't walk out champion. This feud Between Booker and Scott has been going since May (now November) and the plan is for them to have one last match at Starrcade and end the rivalry. Scott will betray his brother in this match and it will cost him however. I don't really have a plan for Rick at this stage, so who knows how long he will last? Part of me is tempted to put the belt on Steiner so Booker can win it back at Starrcade but i've already bounced the Title back and forth during this feud because Scott is popping for Roids and sooner or later he needs to be suspended or sent to rehab.</p><p> </p><p>

Rob Van Dam, Sting and Ric Flair Vs Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell and Jeff Jarrett. This is a mixture of two feuds; RVD Vs Luger and Sting and Flair Vs Bagwell and Jarrett. The reason being is because Bagwell and Jarrett have poor tag chemistry and i want to save the single face-offs for all the feuds till Starrcade. RVD is progressing nicely up the ranks, a win at Starrcade for him will cement him as number 2 main event babyface if all goes well. Flair is 15 years in decline so i'll probably put him against Bagwell to eat the loss, Sting will probably beat Jarrett, who is over as a main event heel but doesn't have the star power to help me in any way against WWF, unlike Sting.</p><p> </p><p>

Dustin Rhodes Vs Kevin Nash in a last man standing match- Kevin Nash is 8 years in decline with a clause that never lets me push him lower than a main event guy. He also has a creative control clause. So by god i can't get him down the card no matter how much i want to. Dustin Rhodes is another upper midcard/main event guy who won't help me against WWF at all, this is basically the feud between guys who mean nothing to this company, as much as it annoys me they might as well be on the card.</p><p> </p><p>

Warrior Vs John Cena. This is the most risky match on the card by far. Cena is pushing as a midcarder right now and is around 58 overness in the US. Warrior is at 71 as an occasional wrestler. He is currently on a PPA contract and he will not be winning even if he quits after. I'm hoping he stays for Starrcade too so Cena can win then, Cena is on my NBT list and his rapper gimmick is rated legendary. He desperately needs the rub so i can close the gap between him and guys like Dustin Rhodes, RVD, DDP etc. I see Cena as my heel world champ at next years Starrcade if this stuff goes well.</p><p> </p><p>

Diamond Dallas Paige Vs Kanyon Vs Shane Douglas © for the US Title. I like DDP and Kanyon and I think both will be useful as main event guys for their respective dispositions for a while yet. Douglas is a solid guy to hold the US title while i work out who eventually takes it off him, so he will probably hold onto it here. </p><p> </p><p>

Locker room leaders (Konnan and Hugh Morrus) Vs Team Canada (Lance Storm and Mike Awesome) © for the WCW World Tag Team Titles. Storm and Awesome have been on fire as tag champs, pulling out ridiculous match grades, so the belts will probably stay with them for a while. </p><p> </p><p>

Rey Misterio Vs CM Punk. Trying to get Punk over but he's very low on pop right now. I can't have him win this match but hopefully they will put on a good match so he gains some popularity.</p><p> </p><p>

Overall i'm feeling good about the show and how WCW is doing but i'm worried we will never be in a position to challenge WWF.</p>

Next Nitro however Steiner again pops for Steroids and the week after so does Booker T! I think Steiner wins now and i will transition to Sting, who seems to be the only reliable main eventer who's not juicing right now!</p>

I've been having Jay and Mark Briscoe feud for a while, saw some crazed promo work by Mark Briscoe so decided to make him a Bray Wyatt type heel with the cult leader gimmick who spouts nonsense and has been feuding with his brother Jay to join the cult(Abyss has been the other member of this cult) and recently they had a hell in a cell match and in the post-match Jay took a knee before his brother to symbolize his allegiance.

I gave him three years even though I didn't really want to, but he did agree to Special Attraction status. </p><p> </p><p> We're in February 2017 now. <p>In the Montreal Aftermath mod with WWF and heading into Wrestlemania 15 with a ton of momentum.</p><p> </p><p>

Headlining the event is The Rock vs Austin with Austin winning the rumble and The Rock beating 'BROKEN' Owen Hart in my first and only 100 rated match in this save and overall in TEW2016. Austin and The Rock have been feuding on and off since around September/October when Vince formed The Corporation with The Rock at the helm. </p><p> </p><p>

A little backstory on Owen: he became 'BROKEN' after the firing of Bret and went after Shawn Michaels at IYH: DX back in December 1997 with Owen being suspended indefinitely which would lead to Owen facing off against Vince McMahon at WM14 and beating him. Since then, Owen has consistenyl feuded with either a McMahon or a Corporate faction member until he won the strap at IYH: Rock Bottom in December 1998, defeating Kane, The Undertaker, And Austin a Fatal-Four-Way. He then defended the belt against The Rock but ultimately lost due to run-in interference by the debuting Big Show, leading to a program between the two for Wrestlemania where I think I'm gonna have Owen go over to completely end the feud against McMahon and then turn heel to work with Austin.</p><p> </p><p>

There's some other big things going on the 'Fed right now but I don't wanna display a mountain of text (that would be really obnoxious, wouldn't it?<img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) but if you have any questions regarding certain guys or storylines, feel free to ask as this mod/save as without a doubt, been my favorite one in TEW2016!</p>

Either way, after Steve feuds with Mankind and Owen, he'll probably lose to a heel Triple H at Summerslam or maybe a PPV or two later, depending on how long his feud with Owen goes.</p><p> </p><p> Honestly, this save has been so much fun and so enthralling and is easily the most immersed I've ever been in a save before, it's wonderful:D</p>

<p>I ran the minimum viable mod through to 1986 and I'm starting up a company in the USA, which appears to have been left behind by pro wrestling, slightly.</p><p> </p><p>

Mainstream, cult and comedy were the trending styles, so I'm kind of mixing attitude era and classic Hogan WWF. I'm also having to rely on Mexican workers because of the paucity of American talent in the save, which adds a nice little twist on the 'classic babyface beating monsters' Hogan style, because of all of the masked luchadores.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm using a real picture folder because I like the idea of assigning known images to them based on their stats. The game seems to generate a massive amount of high SQ workers.</p>

The AI just teamed up Stormette and Helen Earth as PANTHEON. I... couldn't have done a better job. That's simply brilliant. I assume one has control over the skies and the other can terraform. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

However, the night after Fully Loaded, Triple H had his (kayfabe) neck broken by Owen, earning Owen the new moniker of 'THE BREAKER'<img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />, which will lead to Triple H making his return/comeback to win the Royal Rumble to face Owen, who will win the belt from Austin and ultimately take him out in the fall of 1999 (kinda like what happened to him in real life).</p><p> </p><p> It's super unrealistic for Owen to get any sort of World title run as the roster at this point is so stacked, but he has clearly been the MVP of this save and I really want to reward him with a crazy title reign.</p>

<p>So I finally booked Starrcade 2001 on the last day of the year, messed it up a bit by not making a match on the card focus on story telling, which is super annoying but regardless, here is how it went. Winners bolded and babyfaces first.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Locker room leaders</strong> © Vs Stasiak & Jindrak for the WCW tag titles. Jindrak is being mentored by DDP so i want to give him a bit of a push, luckily for Stasiak he is along for the ride as part of the tag team (i keep getting guys like Nash and Steiner telling me that Stasiak is no good as well, but oh well). Locker room leaders only just won the belts so I gave them the victory in the opening match of the night. Rating 80</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Diamond Dallas Page</strong> Vs Kanyon. Kanyon was still angry at DDP for costing him the US title in their triple threat match against Shane Douglas at Mayhem, even though Kanyon took the pin and lost it himself. Kanyon refuses to see sense however and took it out on DDP, leading to this match. Rating 79</p><p> </p><p>

Dustin Rhodes Vs <strong>Kevin Nash</strong> in an I quit match. If you got to push a guy 7 years over the hill but an ironclad contract, might as well have him go over and make the best of it. Nash and Rhodes had been feuding essentially because i had nothing else for them, but Nash figures somewhat into my plans now in the next couple of months because he has so much control over what i can do. I'm actually hoping WWF come in for him when his contract expires. Rating 83</p><p> </p><p>

Shane Helms Vs <strong>Shane Douglas</strong> © for the WCW US Title. Helms made a triumphant return to WCW after the disbanding of the cruiserweight division looking bigger and tougher. He immediately took out Billy Kidman and demanded a shot at Douglas' US title. Douglas laughed off the challenge, claiming that Helms needed to do much more to be worthy of facing him. Helms then defeated Kanyon (thanks to DDP interference) and was then attacked by Douglas. The match therefore was set. Helms is on my NBT list along with CM Punk and John Cena but I don't know how to get him where he needs to be. He will be featuring more now and we'll continue to see how his matches go. Rating 82</p><p> </p><p>

Rey Misterio Vs <strong>CM Punk</strong>. Cooldown note on this match, still trying to get Punk over so i protected Misterio and had Punk win. Think i may introduce some sort of stable similar to the Straight Edge Society soon, looking at a few faces I have in developmental. Would like Punk to be somewhat over before though to give everyone the rub. Rating 62</p><p> </p><p>

Warrior Vs <strong>John Cena</strong> in loser leaves WCW street fight match. Looking to put Cena into the main event picture with this match. Warrior unfortunately still can't work but Cena is killing it in promos, still a bit behind in matches. He hasn't lost a match in WCW however, something that continued with this match. His next opponent will be Sting and he will take his first loss then. The match itself wasn't great because it was hardcore based rather than brawl based, an oversight on my part. Rating 62</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rob Van Dam</strong> Vs Lex Luger. a 4 month long feud designed to get RVD also into the main event picture ended here. Lex is in physical decline and can't really work so the right man went over here. Feud was centred around RVD trying to prove himself in WCW as well as defending the honour of his manger Sable, who Luger became increasingly sleazy with. RVD is in for a big future, being involved with Nash and Booker T at the next PPV for the WCW title! I will probably have him win it because i'd rather have a stoner hold the title than someone on steroids. Rating 82</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sting</strong> Vs Jeff Jarrett. Part of the big feud between Sting & Flair vs Bagwell and Jarrett. Classic story on beloved veterans and cocky heel young guys (i know Jarrett isn't exactly young but whatever!). Feud has been going since May, with everyone benefiting greatly from the hot rivalry. Promises of broken bones, careers being ended and threats from authority figures (Bischoff) has seen use in the feud. Sting however is our number 1 babyface (even over Booker T really) and is extremely important due to his high SQ, and he's not in decline, so he had to go over Jarrett, who may be good in the ring but is not a pivotal player in the company's wellbeing. Rating 81</p><p> </p><p>

Ric Flair Vs <strong>Buff Bagwell</strong>. the feud continued straight into the next match. Flair is unfortunately 15 years into decline and can't perform forever now. He cut a promo about this probably being his last Starrcade and I think as an active performer it might be. His basics and Psychology are really useful to teach someone like Bagwell though, and he will continue to put over guys like Cena, Punk, Bagwell and any other upstart until i move him into a manager role. Before any of that though, i'm toying with putting Bischoff in the ring against him, playing off the real life animosity they both have with each other and the increasing role Bischoff has been playing in Flair's affairs recently. rating 78</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Booker T</strong> © Vs Scott Steiner for the WCW World Title. Booker T ended up retaining. I don't like the fact that both of these guys are on steroids because they are so damn good, and valuable to the company but i don't want to trust the belt with them now. They also don't deliver quite as well against each other due to the lack of psychology. Even in a scripted match it got dinged for it. Booker goes on to face Nash and RVD at the next PPV with RVD probably taking it away. Scott will be facing his returning brother, who he put on the shelf in a rage when Booker retained in the triple threat against the brothers. If Scott gets pinged for roids he will be going to rehab, which will be the loss of a big star for almost a year but i can't be dealing with his roids anymore. Rating 85</p><p> </p><p>

Overall i'm thoroughly enjoying the game, still worried about WWF if we rise to national but the rebuilding process is well underway. Developmental stars will probably be called up, which will probably include the reintroduction of AJ Styles, the debut of a giant known as the Great Khali with Daivari as manager (yep, i want to see if i can make him passable!) and the inception of the Straight Edge Society, who i am looking for candidates to join, i have in developmental Kevin Steen, Fergal Devitt, Austin Aries, Ken Anderson, Johnny Curtis, James Storm and Cesaro. I'm open to any other signings that anyone could recommend for the stable, provided they would be available in 2002.</p>
